"Okay, okay...Everybody says the craziest thing they've done. Marv? How about you first?" Libitina's question came shortly after a bit of laughter from everyone, Dawn having just told a joke a few moments before. Marv had a bit of a smile as he looked over his shoulder into the rear window of the Highwayman, still sitting on the trunk of the car with Heather. "Not a very exciting thing...Walking all the way north from Junktown was the craziest thing I had ever done. Didn't take anything with me except for my Ripper and a few flash grenades." Heather blushed gently as she embarrassingly said "...Once...I beat up a giant rat...It kept trying to take my food, so I beat it up...." Dawn chuckled softly. Dominique raised her eyebrows slightly as she said "Craziest thing I've ever done was I once slapped this one guy that asked me what it would be like to sleep with a reaver." Libitina looked at Dominique curiously. "That doesn't sound very crazy." She said.
Dominique smiled as she said "Maybe not, but when you consider that that guy and the four of his friends all had guns and were standing all around me in an empty street, it could be considered a little crazy." Libitina said "What happened, were you okay after?" Dominique smiled more, nearly grinning. "I had my Pulse Pistol at the time. Let's just say that they were smart, they didn't try anything more." Libitina chuckled. "Kid?" She said a moment later. Kid shrugged gently. "I...I can't really think of anything. Well...Maybe...Oh, I know. The first time I met Ronald, it was during the night, so they m-might have thought I was a raider or something. Someone tried shooting at me, but they missed. I fell to the ground anyway and pretended I was dead. Ronald came over to check who I was, but I jumped up and grabbed his gun. We became friends not long after." Dawn gave him a kiss on the right side of his neck from behind, whispering "That was quick thinking, baby..." Kid smiled a little at her words. Libitina smiled and turned around in her seat slightly, looking at Dawn. "Dawn? How about you?" Dawn raised her eyebrows with a smile. "Why don't you go first, Libby?"
Libitina faced forwards again, still smiling. "Yeah Libby, go right ahead." Dominique said, smiling at her a little teasingly. Libitina eyed Dominique for a moment, her smile only growing stronger as she looked forwards, through the windshield of the car. "It was back in New Reno...I was in the Shark Club, sitting at the bar, just minding my own business and having a drink. Some guy came up to me and tried hitting on me..." Libitina slowly lost her smile, looking downwards slightly. "...I'm a different person now...I had never even met any of you at that point, I hadn't even seen Kid yet, and even then I only started following Kid afterwards because I recognized his face...I hurt the guy, I hurt him pretty badly...Kind of psycho of me. I found out not long after that he had a lot of powerful friends and that they might come after me. Oh well." Kid reached over and gave her a gentle pat on her shoulder. "It's okay, Libby..." He said. She smiled and brought her face close to his hand, touching her cheek to his hand for a moment before pulling away.
"Thanks, Kid...Thanks..." She said softly. Kid smiled a little at her. "Dawn?..." Libitina asked a second later. Dawn smiled a little. "I've done a lot of crazy things...Some stuff I'd like to keep to myself. But...There is this one little thing I remember..." Dawn chuckled softly. "I once played in a tournament of "Rock-Paper-Scissors Roulette"..." Dominique raised an eyebrow curiously, looking back at Dawn. Marv's face went a little blank when he heard Dawn's words. He knew of the game she spoke of. "Is that some kind of game? How do you play?" Dominique asked. Dawn slowly said "I'll tell you, but you all have to promise me you'll never try to play it with anyone. It's dangerous." Dominique nodded, Libitina nodding, as well. Dawn raised an eyebrow, looking into the side of Kid's face. Kid noticed her look, nodding and saying "Of course!" Dawn relaxed again, resting back before taking in a deep breath. "I did it for three reasons...The caps for winning, to win a bet I had taken with this one guy, and to see if I could survive for longer than this one girl. Rock-Paper-Scissors Roulette is just a combination of two games..."Rock-Paper-Scissors" and "Russian roulette". Rock-Paper-Scissors is just a kid's game, but Russian roulette is a lot more dangerous. To play Rock-Paper-Scissors, you have to make a hand symbol with somebody else. A fist for "Rock", a flat hand for "Paper", and a peace sign for "Scissors"."
Dawn demonstrated, doing each of the hand symbols for Dominique, Libitina, and Kid to see. She made a fist for "Rock", held all of her fingers out straight and together for "Paper", and stuck out her index and middle fingers for "Scissors". She went on to say "Paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors beats paper. If two people use the same move, it's a tie and they have to play again. Easy enough game. But Russian roulette...Not only is it a stupid game, it's always deadly to at least one of the players. Well, if you play it right, at least." Marv looked back at Dawn along with Heather. Dawn said "What you do is...You take a magnum and load it with just one bullet. Well, it doesn't really have to be a magnum, but it can't be a pistol, either. It has to have a cylinder to it, that's what adds the element of chance. You spin the cylinder a bunch of times so nobody knows where the bullet is. Then a bunch of people, or maybe just two people, pass the gun back and forth, holding it to their own heads and pulling the trigger. Whoever ends up shooting themself is the loser. Winner just walks away with their life, or maybe whatever the other person had."
Dawn chuckled. "Not a game people play randomly with friends, put it that way." Dominique looked a little pale, saying "Who would ever play that?" Dawn shrugged. "Enemies, maybe? It's mostly for an audience's enjoyment, from what I saw. The tournament I played in was in front of a huge crowd, they cheered whenever someone died. But anyway..." Dawn smiled a little, looking down to Kid's shoulder as she said "In the tournament, two people would play Rock-Paper-Scissors until someone lost. Then they'd hold the gun to their head and pull the trigger. If the chamber in the gun was empty, they'd play Rock-Paper-Scissors again. Whoever lost, well, they would be dead. Whoever won lived and went on to the next round. If you chickened out and didn't want to try pulling the trigger, or were simply taking too long, it would count as a forfeit and a judge close by would shoot you." Kid looked back at Dawn with a bit of a horrified expression. "Dawn! Please, promise me you'll never play that again!" Dawn smiled and said "Don't worry, I don't plan on it." Kid firmly said "Promise me you won't!" Dawn let out a soft sigh. "Babe, I promise I won't. I only did it in the first place because I was desperate for money. I won't do it again, trust me." Kid relaxed a little, looking forwards once more.
Dawn said "Anyway...I played a few rounds and made it to the end. I had been winning so far, but so had that other girl. One of the reasons I had played was just to see if I could get further than her. It sucked that she made it to the end, as well. Neither of us liked each other, but I respected her. It was the final round, the winner would get the money. We played and played. Eventually, all five empty chambers had been used up. It turned out the bullet was in the sixth chamber. Whoever lost the next round would have to shoot themself." "What happened?" Dominique asked. Dawn smiled knowingly. "What do you think? Only one of us was going to walk away from that thing. I'm here, aren't I?" Dominique nodded, realizing that her question was a silly one, being glad that Dawn hadn't really made fun of her over it. Dawn said "I'm only kidding, it actually didn't end as you might think. I may be alive right now, but...Well...I played "Scissors". She played "Paper". The look on her face was priceless, she was so surprised. Her face went kind of blank as the judge handed her the magnum. Before he could even draw and raise his pistol to make sure she actually shot herself, she shot him in the head. She said I could have the prize before turning and running. I never saw her again after that."
Kid said "So...Neither of you lost?" Dawn shrugged. "Pretty much. There were other judges around though, but none of them had guns, so none of them could stop her. The crowd actually liked the outcome, they cheered both my name and the other girl's. The rest of the judges said that the other girl had cheated, so they gave me the money. So...Like I said, I only did it for three reasons. I wanted the money, which I had gotten. I won that bet with that other guy, and we both got a lot more money over it. I went further than that other girl. If she had played by the rules, she would be dead right now. Even though she shot the judge with the gun and ran, I still made it further than her, I beat her. So, in the end, I came out on top and totally unscathed. Makes for an interesting story." Dominique raised her eyebrows, saying "Well...I'm glad you weren't hurt, Beautiful One." Dawn smiled, saying "Thanks." Libitina shook her head gently, facing forwards. "I'm sorry Dawn, but that sounds like a pretty silly game to play...I thought you had more sense than that..." She said softly. Dawn's face showed a little annoyance.
"Hey, I needed the money right then and there, I didn't have any other options. It was either I let myself be tortured, raped, and murdered by a man in a fucking butcher's outfit because of the debt I owed him, or play that game and hope to win. I won and paid my debt to the butcher and even came out with some extra money for myself. It may have been stupid, but it paid off." Libitina nodded softly, saying "Alright...As long as you don't do anything like that again..." Dawn said "Do you think I'm an idiot? I only did it because I had to, I don't plan on doing it again." Kid said "She's just worried, Dawn..." Libitina looked over her shoulder, gently saying "Yeah, sorry, Dawn...I didn't mean to get you mad, just...Well...You're a friend, I don't want to hear about you doing something like that again..." Dawn calmed down a little, saying "Well, I won't, don't worry about me." Everyone went a little quiet, Marv and Heather looking out into the wasteland once more. Dominique listened to the radio, a rock song softly playing through everyone's ears...
A few hours passed. It hadn't taken long before everyone had begun to talk again. Eventually, everyone grew hungry once more. Dawn said that she would cook some food for everyone. Everyone got out of the Highwayman and headed to the nearby fire pit, Dawn heading to one of the carts Ronald had left behind, grabbing a bag of food and heading to the fire pit. Marv quickly got a fire going, Dawn pulling out several items. Most of them didn't have to be cooked, but Dawn wanted to eat something hot, saying "I'm not in the mood for cold crap. Let's eat some hot food, maybe something meaty." Marv right away said that he wasn't hungry, Heather giving him a bit of a worried look, Marv staying true to what he said and confirming that he wasn't hungry. Dawn just shrugged. Dominique said that she was going to go for a little walk before the food was ready, heading off on her own. Krypt stayed by the car, staying in silence by himself. After hardly a few minutes, Kid said he wanted to go see Dominique, heading off on his own. She had nearly disappeared from view, having walked down a hill and gone over a few rocks. She had gone out nearly half a kilometer. Walking by himself for a little, Kid suddenly became aware of the sound of someone following him.
Turning around, he noticed that it was Libitina. She smiled warmly at him. "What's up, Libby?" He asked. She approached him without a word, walking right up close to him, reaching her hands up to his neck. He was a little surprised. She closed her eyes and blushed a little, bringing her face to his, kissing him passionately. Kid relaxed, closing his eyes, kissing her back. As the two kissed a few more times, Kid slowly began to blush. Libitina pulled away from him slowly, opening her eyes, Kid doing the same. "I keep thinking about us, about what happened back in Dawn's room in New Reno...I'm going crazy, it gets me so worked up when I think about it!..." She whispered her words, almost in a pleading manner. "I...I want you...I can't stand it...My panties are too tight around me...It only gets me more worked up..." Kid was surprised as well as a little confused. He had been sure that what had happened between them had only been a dream. He realized that it must have been reality, getting over his surprise and saying "Libby, I...I don't know what to say...I wouldn't mind doing some more stuff, but...We can't, not this very moment...Dominique's not far, and we have to get back to the rest soon, anyway..."
Libitina closed her eyes, slowly lowering her left hand between her thighs. "Kid, it's...It's driving me crazy!...I can't put it in any other words!...You're a guy, don't you understand?..." She moved her hand away from herself, bringing herself even closer to him, rubbing her crotch against his right thigh. Kid felt that she was, indeed, quite aroused. She was almost startlingly aroused, her member was as hard as rock and pushing out through her panties, the bottom of her panties being rather moist from her female parts. Despite not having sexual feeling there, it appeared as though Libitina's female part still reacted to arousal. Kid blushed a little, saying "Libby, I can help you, but not right now...You'll have to hold out a little...I promise though, I can help you sometime soon..." Libitina slipped her arms around his waist, hugging him, keeping her face near his neck, pushing her face into his shoulder slightly. He hugged her back. "...I want to return the favour...I promised you that I would, didn't I?...Well...I don't know if I promised...But I know I told you that I wanted to return the favour and make you feel good..." She smiled a little. "I remember you smiling...I know what I want to do to return the favour..."
Kid raised an eyebrow slightly. Libitina's face was turning bright red with blush. "My...My pussy may not have much feeling to it anymore, but...I do have another hole...It still has feeling...But...I would have to prepare...I'd need some cream or something like that to make you a little wet...It would hurt otherwise..." Kid's face was a little blank for a moment before saying "Are you...Talking about your...?" Libitina nodded, rubbing her face into his neck slightly. "Yeah...I'd love to have you in there...But like I said, I'd need some kind of cream or jelly or oil or something...If I can't find any, I'd...Like to just suck you...I want to do something, anything!..." Kid was still blushing as he pushed Libitina back gently, bringing his face to her's, kissing her passionately. She kissed him back, beginning to breathe a little deeply. They kissed a few times before they finally stopped. Kid apologetically said "Libby, we can't, not right now!..." Her voice was cracking slightly, her eyes starting to look a little watery. "Tonight?..." She softly suggested, her single word sounding a little hopeful.
Kid didn't say anything for a moment. He smiled gently. "If we can get away from the rest and go somewhere p-private, then...Sure...Why not?..." Libitina grinned, giving him one last quick kiss before saying "Okay...I can accept that...I should get back now...God, trying to hide my dick is going to be hard...I don't think it's going to be softening up any time soon..." She suddenly giggled a little. "Heh, "hard", get it?..." Kid smiled a little more strongly, looking off to the side for a moment. She said "Well...See you later..." She turned and hastily headed off, leaving Kid alone. Kid thought on how his encounter with her back in New Reno had been real and not some dream. He shrugged gently, not having a problem with it. He looked off to the side and headed back in the direction of where Dominique had gone, wanting to see her.
The man with the M249 SAW and the dog ran through a few back alleys, glancing over his shoulder every little bit. He was panting, but other than that and the sound of his rushing footsteps echoing through the alleys, he made no noise whatsoever. Eventually, he came across a wooden door painted blue, the paint chipping heavily with age. He opened the door quickly, walking inside, letting the dog walk in before closing the door. The doorway had several attachments on the left side of it, all looking like metal poles, the man lowering them all quickly with a clang. The poles rested on small metal pegs on the other side of the doorway, effectively creating a grid of metal bars across the doorway, reinforcing it and barricading it, making sure unwanted visitors had no way of entering. He let out a gentle sigh, turning and heading through a nearby doorway. The room beyond wasn't very large, having two dirty mattresses on the floor. A radio was sitting in a corner of the room, playing a song gently, the song being just of a piano playing.
A light shone down from the ceiling. Another doorway in the room led off to another smaller room. An older teenager with dark chocolate skin sat down on one of the beds, his back to the wall. One leg spread out, another bent with it's knee near the man's chest, he struck a careless pose as he kept his right hand on his knee. He held a pistol in his left hand, letting it rest on his left thigh. He was wearing a pair of black track pants, dried mud being on his knees and near his ankles. He wore a pair of no-nonsense shoes, being laced up tight and being a dark shade, almost black like his pants. He had a dark yellow shirt on, a few designs on the front looking almost tribal in nature, the designs being lined with dark brown but having red centers. A bracelet went around his left wrist, being a leather strap with some small bones attached. He had a dark beard, the beard not being very long but being much more than stubble. His hair was short and a little messy, but it didn't seem to be a concern to him. He raised his eyebrows at the silent man in greeting, the man turning and looking into the other room.
A bed sat in the shadows. A young boy lay in the bed quietly, apparently asleep. "He ain't woke up yet." The sitting man said. The silent man looked to the side for a moment before turning to the sitting man, putting down his weapon by his side, standing it against the wall by the doorway. The sitting man glanced at him. "Claude, we gotta get your bro something for that cut of his. He's gotta get help fast, I don't know how much longer he can make it, man." His voice was serious. He raised up his free hand to the silent man, showing it to be covered in dried blood. The silent man, Claude, raised a hand to his face, letting out a gentle sigh as he leaned against the wall by the doorway to the other room. "How's your throat?" The sitting man asked. Claude didn't react for a moment. He lowered his hand, shaking his head a second later. The sitting man took in a deep breath before letting it out gently. He stood up, pushing his pistol into the front of his pants. "Look, I'll go out and try to find somewhere that has meds. Maybe I can find something for you and your bro? You're both cut up pretty bad."
Claude shrugged gently. The other man grinned slightly, chuckling. "You're one tough bastard, Claude. Got your throat sliced and you don't even give a damn. Guess you're more concerned about Marius, huh?" Claude looked to the man, nodding. The man chuckled again, but it didn't last long. He lost his grin quickly. "Look, like I said, I'll head out there, see what I can dig up. You gonna stick around here and look after Marius and Pierre?" Claude nodded. The man said "A'ight then. I won't be gone long, wouldn't want to worry you guys. I'll see if I can get some food while I'm at it." Claude nodded again. The man walked over to the door, raising the bars covering it slowly and quietly, opening the door a moment later, slipping outside. He looked left and right, drawing his pistol once more. He didn't see anyone around. "Alright, Daniel...Let's not get shot on this run..." The man murmured to himself. He headed down the alley to the east, but because he was facing south, the alley went on to his left side.
Within a few minutes, Kid began to hear a light sobbing. His eyes widened slightly. "Dom? Dominique?" He asked urgently, moving forwards, looking behind a large pile of rocks. "Huh?...Kid?" He heard Dominique say. She was seated on the ground, her back to a large rock, her knees raised to her chest. She had her arms around her legs, hugging them close to her torso. Looking at her, he knew that his ears hadn't been playing tricks on him. She had been crying. Dark streaks ran down her cheeks from her now-smeared makeup. She hid her face from Kid, sadly murmuring a few words in French. "Je t'en prie, regarde-moi pas...Je veux pas que tu me voies comme ca..." Kid didn't understand what she had said, simply taking a step closer to her, asking "Dominique, are you okay?...What's wrong?..." Dominique sniffled gently, saying "...Nothing...I'm fine...Don't look at me, please..." Kid took a few steps closer to her, sitting down by her side. She kept hiding her face, turning to the side, raising her hands to her face. "Please, Kid...Don't look at me while I'm like this..." Kid sounded a little sad, feeling for her as he raised a hand to her left shoulder, touching her gently. She calmed down slightly, her body appearing a little less tense at his touch. She turned her head slightly. "What's the matter?..." Kid asked quietly.
Dominique slowly turned all the way, looking over to him. Her eyes were red from crying so much. Her cheeks were streaked with black marks from her makeup. Her bottom lip was quivering softly every few seconds. Tears were still running down her face as she looked at him. Kid said nothing. He simply slipped his arms around her shoulders, bringing her close to him. She quickly hugged him back, burying her face into his chest, bursting into more tears. She sobbed heavily, her body shaking pitifully. "What's wrong?..." Kid asked once more. Dominique still wouldn't say anything, simply crying into his shirt, her arms tightening around his waist. Several minutes of crying occurred, Kid gently rubbing Dominique's back during that entire time, trying to soothe her enough that she'd calm down. Finally, she began to sob a little quieter and more faintly, her tears fading away. She pulled her face back from his shirt, sniffling gently as she said "Thank you...Being held by you helped...Nobody else would have worked..." "Will you tell me what's wrong?..." He asked softly. She stayed silent for a few seconds. Kid reached his left hand to her face, feeling along the right side of her face gently, rubbing his thumb along the scars she had on that side of her face.
The jagged one down the side of her forehead, the one in the middle of her cheek, he gently ran the print of his thumb along them, rubbing her softly. A tear fell from her right eye. She closed her eyes, raising her hands to his on her face, keeping his hand still against the side of her face. He brought his face to her's gently, touching his forehead to her's, closing his eyes. He said nothing more, waiting for her to tell him of what was bothering her so much. A gentle evening breeze began to pick up, blowing around the two of them and the rocks they sat by. A minute later, Dominique softly said "...I'm crying over something stupid..." Kid opened his eyes, pulling his face back from her's gently. "What's wrong? Come on, tell me..." Dominique's bottom lip trembled for a moment before she said "...Seeing you and Dawn together...You guys have been hugging and...It crushes my heart every time I see it..." Part of Kid was surprised, but then, another part of him wasn't surprised at all. He wasn't surprised that she would be upset over him and Dawn, but he was surprised that she would get this upset. "You never showed it..." Kid said gently. Dominique said "Of course not, if I did, Dawn would know something was up!..."
Kid softly said "...I'm sorry if we bother you..." Dominique didn't say anything for a second. She opened her eyes and let him lower his hand from her face. "Kid...We should go back...But...When we're done...Please....Spend some time with me?...Take a little walk with me, let's just be alone for a little..." Kid smiled and nodded, saying "Yeah, I'd like that." Dominique smiled happily. "Is it alright if I kiss you?..." She asked. Kid blushed faintly, saying "Of course..." Dominique smiled gently and brought her face to his, kissing him joyously, the two of them orally embracing a few times before she pulled away from him. She kept smiling and raised her hands to her face, wiping away at her cheeks. She sniffled again before saying "Thank you...Je t'aime...I'm so glad I met you..." Kid smiled and got up, helping her stand up.
"I'm happy I met you, too...You mean a lot to me Dom, I don't know if you realize that. Come on, let's g-go eat...I'm getting pretty hungry." Dominique chuckled softly, finishing rubbing at her eyes, nodding as she stood by him. "Yeah, alright...I'm hungry, too...But...Please..." Kid nodded, saying "Right after we eat, Dom. We can be alone." Dominique smiled happily, coming close and kissing him again. "Okay, then...Let's go eat..." Kid smiled happily, the two of them walking away from the rocks, slowly heading back in the direction of the camp.
Hiro and Felicity walked along in raider clothing, looking around as if for innocents to kill, Hiro armed with his pistols and Felicity with a submachine gun that used to belong to one of the dead raiders Hiro had killed. Their disguises had been working; they had walked by several large raider groups a few times, and the raiders were never the wiser as to who they were. Hiro didn't feel too well due to his injuries, his face beginning to look a little pale as he continued to slowly bleed. Felicity was worried over him. "We should look for some meds before we leave the city..." Hiro nodded. "Right...But where?..." Looking around, Felicity's eyes widened. "There!" She said, holding out a hand and pointing it towards a nearby building. It was a single-story building nestled between two larger ones, a simple white sign on the front with a single green word on it: "Pharmacy". The sign was faded with time, but the word on it was just barely discernable. Hiro shrugged gently. "Couldn't hurt to check." He said, the two of them trudging over towards the pharmacy.
Everyone at the camp, except for Marv, had eaten some of the food Dawn had cooked. Nobody had noticed that Dominique's makeup had been smeared from her crying, Dominique having done a good job of rubbing it all from her cheeks. The sun was lowering in the sky then, it was just starting to go into evening. Dominique looked at Kid every few minutes. Kid understood. She was wondering if he still wanted to go off and be alone with her. He walked up to Dawn and thanked her for the food, saying that he was going to go off with Dominique and take a walk. She was okay with the idea, but she told him to take a weapon with him in case they ran across a pig rat or some other violent creature. Kid nodded. He went over to the Highwayman and grabbed one of the combat shotguns in the back, making sure it was loaded before walking off with Dominique. Dominique was trying her best to hide her excitement. She was clearly giddy about being alone with him, it had been quite a long time since they had been by themselves with each other. Kid simply smiled, looking at her as she walked with a smile so big it was practically a grin. Kid held the combat shotgun loosely in his hands, chuckling softly as Dominique kept smiling. Dominique looked over at him, realizing he was laughing because of her expression, stepping closer to him and bumping into him with her side, causing him to stumble for a moment before he regained his balance.
He chuckled more, the two of them walking down the nearby hill and past the rocks Dominique had been behind before, heading even further and going down another small hill. They were nearly a full kilometer from all the others. Dominique reached over, touching his right wrist. He grabbed his shotgun with just his left hand, freeing up his right. Dominique slipped her hand down and held his hand. "I haven't forgotten what we did in the car, before we went down into the vault..." She whispered. Kid looked over to her face calmly. "Neither have I..." He replied softly. Dominique stepped closer to him, placing her other hand on his left hip. "Je t'aime...Do you know what that means, Kid?..." Kid shook his head gently. Dominique smiled, looking into his face. "...I'm ready to tell you what it means...I said before that it was just how I felt...Well...It means "I love you", Kid...Every time I ever said it, I was telling you that I loved you..." Kid was about to speak when Dominique said "If you and Dawn love each other, that's okay...I know I'm not much compared to her...I just want you to know that I...That I love you...I can't hide my feelings anymore..."
She smiled, continuing and saying "You and the rest have been good to me...A lot of people are scared of reavers, mostly because of this thing that happened with the Brotherhood of Steel out east...They're either scared of us because of how we look or because of the fact that we follow a religion...Religion has a bad name because of all the cults that have been around...But you've all been nice to me..." Kid smiled at her. Dominique brought herself a little closer to him, almost hugging him a little, the front of her body touching that of his. She placed her chin on his shoulder. "Do you remember...Back in the Highwayman?...We made love before we went down into the vault...It was the happiest moment of my life..." Kid smiled a little, keeping his face by her neck. A second later, Dominique asked "...Do you want to?...Make love again, I mean?..." Kid took in a deep, slow, breath. "Depends...Do you actually want to?..." Dominique nodded gently. She just said "Yes..." Kid said "Well...Then...Alright...We can do it..." Dominique smiled more. "Okay then...Let's get undressed..."
Dawn silently sat in the Highwayman's driver seat. She sat with her jacket and helmet on, the rising wind of the wasteland beginning to chill the air, the jacket and helmet helping to keep her warm. She wore the helmet for another purpose, however. Her face showed that she was sad, she didn't want anyone to see her. She kept thinking about Kid and Dominique. She had noticed for a long time that the two of them were close. They were close, but not like siblings, they were close almost like there was sexual tension between the two of them. She had never seen them together and she had never seen them looking at each other lustfully, she had never heard them speaking to each other in a manner that went beyond simple friends, but still. The doubts were there in her mind, regardless. She wondered if they secretly liked one another. They were both young and around each other's age, after all. The doubts in Dawn's mind had always been small things, but that was mainly because she had never really thought on it. Now that she was, her doubts were growing and growing in her mind like a large ball of black tar, rolling over and covering up everything that made her up emotionally.
"Maybe...He's more attracted to her because she's closer to his age?...Maybe me being a few years older secretly freaks him out?...Maybe it's because she's French?...Her blonde hair, maybe?..." Dawn clenched her hands slightly, but not from anger. She was more afraid than anything. She didn't want to lose Kid. The radio was playing softly, Dawn having turned it to a different station, a classic song playing through it's speakers. Somebody suddenly sat down in the passenger's seat beside Dawn. Looking over, Dawn noticed it was Libitina. "Hey." Dawn said softly. Libitina looked at Dawn curiously. "You're being awfully quiet in here, Dawn...Something wrong?" She asked. Dawn looked forwards and slowly shook her head. She was rather glad to have her helmet on now, her face clearly showed sadness and she wasn't interested in talking about why she felt that way. Libitina kept looking at Dawn, seemingly reading Dawn's mind, saying "You can talk to me, you know." Dawn didn't react for a moment. "...I'm fine, Libby. I don't want to talk. I can figure things out in my own head. But...Thank you anyway. I appreciate what you're trying to do." Libitina looked a little dejected, sitting back in her chair quietly.
Several seconds passed before anyone spoke. "...You saw it, right?" Libitina asked. Dawn looked over to her. "Saw what?" She asked. Libitina's face was a little lifeless as she said "...What I have...Down there." Dawn didn't react for a second. She looked forwards. "...Yeah." "...What do you think?" Libitina asked. Dawn slowly smiled. "...I think you're unique. That's it." Libitina looked over to Dawn, being a little surprised. "You're serious?" She asked. Dawn nodded. Libitina smiled. "I've never known a girl that knew about it and was okay with it!..." Dawn chuckled and said "Yeah, well, settle down. I'm not turned off by it, that's it." Libitina smiled more. "Are we friends, Dawn?" She asked. Dawn slowly said "Odd thing to ask, don't you think?" Libitina softly said "Maybe..." A moment later, she spoke with more happiness, asking "So, are we?" Dawn took in a deep breath before exhaling. "Isn't it obvious?" She said. Libitina cutely shook her head, smiling and looking at Dawn with wide, almost innocent, eyes. Dawn said "Yeah...We're friends." Libitina jumped over and grabbed Dawn in a hug, accidentally ramming the side of her face down into Dawn's large chest against her vest, reaching her arms around Dawn's waist. Dawn raised an eyebrow, seeing the happy smile on Libitina's face before sighing gently.
She gave Libitina a light hug back, saying "Alright, let go of me now, that's enough." Libitina released Dawn, smiling happily. She got out of the Highwayman, but before she closed the door she turned around and said "If you ever need to talk, I'm here..." Dawn nodded. "Yeah, yeah..." She said quietly. Libitina closed the door, walking over to the fire pit, to Marv and Heather. Krypt stood nearby, he was within talking distance. "Hey, Krypt." Dawn said, looking through the window by her side. He looked at her, walking over. "Yes?" His slightly raspy voice sounded out from his dark hood. Dawn slowly asked "You ever...You ever had girl trouble? Ever had any problems with girls in the past?" Krypt shook his head. "No...People like us don't have time for relationships, Dawn. Every day has a chance of dying, plus we'd bring danger to our loved ones. Enemies, you know." Dawn nodded gently. She could see wisdom in his words. Krypt shrugged lightly. "Besides...The girls in New Reno are all the kind I despise. They're all shallow, many of them are ugly, and they're all hooked on drugs." Dawn smiled and said "You do realize I was a girl in New Reno for a long time, right?" Krypt smiled slightly.
"Yes, but you're not as shallow as the rest, you're not as ugly, and you're not hooked on drugs...Last time I checked, anyway." Dawn waved a hand at him. "One I thing I know for sure is that I'm not ugly, get outta here with that crap." Krypt actually chuckled lightly, his laugh being dry and a little cracked from his voice. He turned and walked away, heading back to the spot he had been looking around from. A few seconds later, Dawn's smile slowly began to die. She wasn't sure what was going on between Kid and Dominique, but there was something off about it. Thinking about it hurt her heart. She wondered if she was pleasing Kid enough, if she was making him happy. She bit her bottom lip a little, thinking of him.
She loved him so much, the thought of him being with another girl tore at her in ways she never thought was possible. "This is what happens when you fall in love, Dawn...You knew it would hurt eventually..." She told herself. She made up her mind. When Kid came back, she'd ask him if anything was going on with Dominique. She let out a shaky breath. She sniffled gently. Before she knew it, a few quiet tears had ran down her face. She pulled off her helmet, rubbing at her cheeks, getting rid of her tears hastily. "Don't cry, crying is stupid!..." She told herself a little angrily. She pulled her helmet back on, simply waiting in silence as the sun began to set, waiting for Kid and Dominique to return to the camp...
Dominique watched as Kid slowly pushed his hard tool into her, pushing between her lower lips and entering her tight orifice. She whimpered softly as he went as deep as he could into her. "Does it still hurt?" He asked. She slowly said "Not really...It's just...It feels so big...It's stretching me...I just need a second to get used to it..." Kid smiled understandingly and nodded. "Alright then. I'll go slow." She was lying on her back on the ground, her legs spread and her knees raised, her legs upwards slightly but far enough apart that Kid could get between them. He was on his hands and knees over her, his hands on the ground, on either side of her ribs. His knees under her bent legs, they were joined as one between their thighs, Kid's member fully within her heavenly confines. She was already breathing a little hard as he slowly pulled out of her, Kid smiling at her. She slowly lowered her right hand down past her lower stomach, touching herself slowly, rubbing her clit and raising more pleasure through herself. She closed her eyes as Kid pushed back into her. He slipped out again, going back until he nearly fell out of her before slipping back inside. Dominique let out a soft cry, blush roaring in her cheeks. She said nothing as Kid slowly began to speed up, keeping her eyes closed, rubbing herself gently.
Kid smiled slightly for a moment as he kept moving, watching Dominique's expression slowly change. Her mouth hanging open slightly, she would let out a soft moan of sorts every few seconds. He grinned for a moment before his body began to react to the situation as well, closing his eyes as he began to feel the same things as her. Her fluid coating him and making him shine, he began to move even faster, gently ramming into Dominique with each movement. She opened her eyes then, breathing heavily, moaning lightly. "Kid...Kid..." She panted out. Kid opened his eyes. She was looking into his eyes with nothing but pure emotion. She loved him. It was so clear in her eyes. If her heart had been a picture frame, the only image within it would have been one of him. "Kiss me..." She said softly. He closed his eyes again, bringing himself a little closer to her, kissing her. Still moving his hips rapidly, he couldn't help but feel a little disturbed by what he saw in her eyes. It wasn't that he was disturbed by the fact that she loved him...He was a little shaken because he had seen someone else give him the very same look, multiple times, as a matter of fact. Dawn.
Dawn had given him the same loving look several times, usually while crying silently. The look made him think of her and what he was doing with Dominique, what he might do with Libitina later on. It made him feel somewhat ashamed of himself. He and Dominique stopped kissing a moment later, Kid pulling himself up from her slightly. She had her eyes still closed as she moaned out loudly. The pleasure running through Kid began to deaden slightly, slowly fading into nonexistence. His face was sort of depressed for a few seconds before he suddenly heard Dominique gasp out that she was cumming. Kid felt a powerful surge of pleasure wash over him, pulling out of Dominique quickly, not even having to touch himself, simply bursting a load of cum onto her lower stomach, some of it hitting her right hand. Dominique kept rubbing herself, a moment later letting out a gentle spray of cum, crying out in pleasure while squirting to the dusty ground beneath the two of them. Dominique smiled and kept panting slightly. Kid sat back on the ground for a moment before quietly pulling up his pants. His face was still sort of depressed. Dominique got up on her knees, coming closer to him, putting her hands on his shoulders and kissing him happily.
She noticed he was only barely kissing her back. She slowly pulled back from him. "Is...Is something wrong, Kid?..." She asked softly. Kid shook his head gently. "No...Nothing's wrong...Just...Tired..." The happiness began to drain from her eyes. She knew something was wrong. "It's okay to tell me, Kid..." She murmured. Kid just blinked and said "It's nothing...Come on, let's head back before the rest g-get suspicious..." Dominique nodded gently, standing up. She did her best to clean herself up with her underwear, Kid grabbing his shotgun and already starting to head back to the camp. The sight of Kid not even waiting for her hurt her rather intensely, more than she'd care to admit. She quickly caught up to him. "I know something's wrong..." She said softly. Kid shook his head. "I said that nothing was wrong..." He said a little forcefully. Dominique trembled slightly from his words. The force he put in them made her whole body shiver slightly, not from fear, but just because it was a little unexpected. "Okay...If you say so..." She said softly. The two of them walked in silence from that point onwards, not a sound passing between them as they headed back to the camp in the dark...
Marv and Heather had already gone to sleep, Libitina still staying up for some reason, simply relaxing in the cart she wanted to sleep in. Dawn spotted Kid and Dominique heading back towards the camp. She waited for them to get close. Unexpectedly, the two of them parted without even saying anything to each other. He noticed that the both of their faces looked rather depressed. Without even looking at each other, they walked away from one another, Kid heading towards Dawn with his eyes pointed at the ground, Dominique looking much the same as she headed for a nearby cart. When he reached her, Dawn pulled off her helmet and gently asked "What's wrong, babe?...You look pretty down..." Kid opened his mouth for a second before raising his eyebrows and quietly saying "Nothing, nothing at all...Just...Thinking about stuff..."
Dawn lightly placed her helmet in the backseat of the Highwayman, taking Kid's shotgun and tossing it in the back, as well. "Listen, I..." She let out a light sigh. "I need to talk to you about something...It's important." Kid nodded, looking up into her eyes drearily. "Okay." He said simply. She walked around the car and took a few steps away from it into the shadows, beckoning to Kid. He followed her quietly, wondering what it was that she wanted to talk to about...
