“No wait! Were not rebels!” the thief was as ballistic as you had been a moment ago. He kept shouting to the guards and when he knew that wouldn’t work, you saw him run. “Archers!” suddenly arrows flew out of nowhere and struck the thief down. You were now in tears, the only companion who seemed nice was now dead. You only cried a little, most of it dry sobs. The guard then called you up “You, step forward.” You looked at him in horror and walked up slowly “Who, are you?” ‘Who am I?’ he didn’t even know your name. The dream swelled back up in your head and you felt the name dance on your tongue before you answered him “De..” you croaked out before clearing your throat “Demulea.” the guard then turned to another “What should we do? He’s not on the list.” You looked at them confused, you weren’t? “Forget the list.” you frowned, of course. “By your orders captain.” Said the first guard, and he returned his attention to you “I’, sorry, we will make sure your remains make it back to Cyrodil.” “Follow the captain prisoner.” You felt your heart stop; Cyrodil wasn’t a place you wanted to return to, not even in death. The guard, probably the captain he mentioned, and then led you guys over to a clearing. In this clearing there was many guards, and among them a woman in white and a stone with a basket in front of it. You were confused until you saw the man standing by the stone. He had a huge axe, one obviously meant for decapitations. Your eyes grew big at the thought of this and you had to keep yourself from running. You took in many breaths before shutting your eyes ‘It’s easier to die like this.’ you chanted until you heard your name. You opened your eyes to see the guards looking at you, waiting. You walked up to the block and almost threw up when you saw the sight. The body of a man laid pushed to the side haphazardly. You could smell the strong stench of blood and almost attacked when a foot pushed you forward towards the stone. You looked into the basket and saw a face staring back at you, closing your eyes was the only way to deal with this now. Once you did you heard a roar and opened them again. The guards and even the executioner had stopped what they were doing and were all looking up. You did too, but saw nothing. Then, as if in the blink of an eye, a giant winged beast came out of the sky and landed on a nearby tower. You stared at it in absolute shock as it opened its maw and let out a scream. You found yourself screaming too, and soon realized everyone was. You stood up and looked around to see many prisoners and guards’ a like on fire. You took this as your cue and made a mad dash for the nearest building. Thankfully, there was another guard tower not far from where you were. You made a mad dash into the building and had just got inside when you heard another scream from the monster.
