Looking agitated by the onslaught of friendly playful gestures by her new elven "Friend" Meral tolerates her due to her admittedly helpful nature. Old Town was obviously the oldest part of Stormwind. It's easy to get lost in any part of this city but this area was clearly built before modern city planning came to be. "Here we are~". She sings outside the tavern, a creaky sign reading "Pig and Whistle Tavern". "That is a stupid name." Meral mutters as she walks in the door Keenstar holds open for her.
"Hey Keen!" A voice from a table yells, a circle of friends sit at one of the tables. A dark skinned human female is waving, likely the one that called. Both Meral and Meene Keenstar joined the table of friends. Left to right was the aforementioned human. Dark skin, nose piercings galore and tied back black hair, a dragon tatoo on the side of her neck. Next was a gnomish girl, a shaggy pink paigeboy haircut and big shiny baby blue eyes, with a surprisingly large mug in her hand. Last was another elven woman. Slightly pudgey, purple skinned with purple sunglasses, green hair, smoking a pipe.
Meral and Keen sat opposite of them. Keen took the "honor" of introducing her new "friend". "This is Meral..." She says in the a normal speaking voice. "... She has a penis." She whispers while snickering. Looking cross the Draenei tells her to shut up but the damage has been done. "I'm Sasha." The human girl said reaching out to shake the blue woman's hand, to which the blue woman does feeling trust in her. "I'm Brixie." The gnome says raising her glass. "Wayna" the detached night elf with the shades says as she puffs her pipe.
"Wayna's an old friend of my brothers." Keen informs. "She might not respond much. She smokes a little bit too much silverleaf." Meral, unfamiliar with this planet's herbs just smiles and nods. The gnome casts a cute smile at the the draenei and politely asks some questions, none of which infringe on her privacy. "So... What's your opinion of Azeroth? Met many friends? What do you do with your spare time?" So happy none of these questions were about what's hanging between her thighs Meral immediately warms up to the gnome.
"Azeroth is certainly nicer than the demon warped land I come from. Though I haven't seen much of Azeroth I intend to." Wayna let's out a short chuckle. "Haha. Penis." Everyone but Keen looks at her with disdain. Sasha says in a slightly shy voice "There's a lot of terrible places on Azeroth. Demons don't leave us alone either."
Brixie babbles. Not sure if it was a mix of alcohol or genuine gnomish intelligence but she espoused a long winded rant about the legions lack of focus. "With such large numbers they should be able to take us out in days. Why hold back?"
Growing tired Meral thanks them all for the lovely conversation but she really needs to head to bed. "Glad you could stomach my eccentric mix of technical babbling and petty drunk talk." Brixie says as the draenei marches up to the bedding area after dropping the innkeeper a silver.
"Crap.." Meral curses as she remembers leaving her only soft clothes in the Azure Watch inn. She was in such a rush to get out she's got nothing decent under her armor. "Ah well." Though there were no private rooms she could pull off her armor under the covers and no one would be the wiser. She did just that, resting the metal pieces to her side as she closed her eyes for the night.
The owls hooted as the yellow moon rose over Storwmind. Waking up in a slight sweat, Meral thought about her sister. She didn't know how she would make it here but she would. "Hey Meral..." She heard a familiar whisper. Turning her head Sasha laid in the neighbouring bed. "Can't sleep? Can I tell you something?" Meral nodded the movement of her glowing eyes signalling her. "I don't get along very well with anyone but Brixie. I don't really fit in so it's nice to have another similar thinker."
Meral whispers. "It's really telling how you and her weren't making dick jokes. Get enough of that at home... Or... I did." Sasha looked concerned, her body wrapped snuggly in her blanket. "I take it you lost a lot?" she asks. "You could say that." Turning onto her back again the draenei exhales with her upper teeth over her lower lip making an audible "Fffffft". Rustling around uncomfortably for a moment Meral asks "Want to know about it?"
"Hmm?" The human asks. "You know my... Nevermind." Closing her eyes with a smile. "It's too dark to see anything." She says contently. "Well.." The draenei pauses. "Not that I was going to show you. Just thought I'd share my story."
"Only if you want." Sasha says, words that are very comforting to hear for someone who is not often secure in their thoughts and actions. Turning on her side, Meral gives her the details. "Was born with it. It happens now and then. A fluke, a blessing, a curse. I don't know. Spent much of my life hiding it. Much to my chagrin I got constant teasing, largely from my mother and sister."
"And your father?" She presses. "Shy man. Honest worker. Kind of religious. I owe a lot to him. See that hammer behind my pillow? That was his." Sasha pauses for a moment to process things. "I'm sorry for your loss." Quiet hangs in the air for a moment. "The crash was better way to go then what most of my people went through. But I don't care much for draenei. I just care for family." Turning her back to the human, Meral huddles up in fetal position. "What about... Friends?" The flashlight eyes of the draenei look over her shoulder. A smile could not be visible but it was there. "Friends it is."
What feels like twenty minutes passes and the withdrawn Draenei's ears perk when she suddenly hears "Are you big?". A boisterous laugh comes from Merals mouth as she fears may have woken up other patrons. "I can't believe I laughed at that. I usually never like questions like that. Just came out of nowhere." Sasha shrugged and snorted. "Well..." Meral rolls her lantern eyes with a smile and informs her. "Not sure if mom was joking at the time but she used to say when I was a baby I was as big as my father...." Rolling onto her side again facing the human. "Given what I am now I'm inclined to believe that." An short snicker comes from Sasha as Meral tries to cozy up for sleep again. "Tell that to those night elves and I'm sticking this hammer where the sun don't shine." Sasha laughs and falls asleep, the draenei soon following.
