A missile hit from a Reaper that landed near her sent Liara flying through the air, off the street she and Shepard were fighting on. Liara tried firing up her omni-tool, but it was broken by the fall. She couldn't contact Shepard and wouldn't be heard if she tried to scream, which meant that Liara would have to find a way to get to Shepard on her own. She got off the ground and started walking towards distant buildings.
At least she had her biotics and an SMG to defend herself with, and Liara was no scared young scientist anymore, she came a long way from that. Liara kept walking, scanning her surroundings for any sign of the Reapers as her world was swarmed so she knew there would be plenty on the way.
So far, there was no sign of Reaper forces and that made Liara wonder why. As Liara cornered a building, she saw a pack of Cannibals down the street, accompanied by a Banshee, a creature she encountered for the first time ever fighting the Reapers. But she wasn't attacked, instead, the Cannibals started approaching her.
And then it hit her. Liara collapsed, her hands around her head as the Asari was battling psionic waves sent on her by the Banshee. Liara's head hurt painfully, as she lied on the ground, trying to deal with the pain. While the Banshee distracted Liara by its surprise attack, the Cannibals approached the Asari. She was defenseless, and the Reapers would exploit that.
The Cannibals were on her, ripping Liara's clothing into many small pieces, revealing her smooth blue skin to the cold air of Thessia. Her clothing gone, Liara couldn't fight, her mind experiencing giant amounts of pain from the Banshee's mental attack.
Her body was taken and carried away into the nearby building where she would he hidden away from anybody finding her. She lied in the Cannibals' hands, as she was carries, holding her hands around her head to suppress the pain. Liara was placed down on the ground, her naked body touching the cold floor.
The Banshee stopped assaulting her, but Liara was too weak to fight back. One of the Cannibals came out of the group, Liara seeing its long metal dick in the blur that was currently her vision.
