It was already dark by the time they got there, so ReDeads wouldn't die from sunlight. Ester had seemed to forget that, as she floated around, looking for her shadow. "Hey! You still alive out here?" She called, not even noticing a hobbling corpse approaching until it was too late. One piercing screech later, and Ester was frozen stiff, eyes huge. The creature suddenly plowed into her, her nostrils filling with the scent of decay. It was enough to make her want to throw up, if she could make her gag reflex work. As soon as her muscles started working she let out a scream of anger, instantly tearing straight through the ReDead before floating back up, shuddering heavily. "Let's get going before something ELSE happens!"

Shadow Ester came out from behind a pillar and laughed. She then stopped laughing when it registered with her that it wasn't Chance that the Redead had attacked.
"Dammit Ester!" she shouted as Chance unlocked the chains. The Fierce Deity Mask didn't immediately respond as it seemed to think on something.
"Perhaps we should approach this situation peacefully if we are to come back here. I do not wish to anger the king of Ikana needlessly." It said sagely. Chance nodded in agreement and opened the now unsealed door. As they entered Igos Du Ikana's throne room, the boney King himself stood from his throne, brandishing his weapon. A square shield in one hand and a scimitar in the other, he yelled out to the three travelers.
"Ye who dare to attempt resurrecting the God of the lost piece of the Tetraforce, why do you wish to free this Demon?" he barked. Shadow Ester and Chance's faces were a mixture of shock and confusion. "The Tetraforce? What the hell? I've never heard of that!" Shadow Ester said. Chance's reaction was a bit different. "Hold up... If Link doesn't even know about that, then how old is Igos Du Ikana anyways?"

Ester growled, seeing Shadow Ester laughing at her. "Seriously? Of all the things... knock it off! We have to go now." She shook her head, praying that this would work. That Shadow Ester would be off her back forever after this...
With a small sigh, she floated over to the doorway, wondering what the Igos Du Ikana would do. After all, the last times they had to defeat two of the four demons, the Deity mask had helped them gain favor with them. Would this be the same? Or were they just in over their heads?
From the booming voice all the way across the room, as well as the giant skeleton brandishing his weapon, something told her that this wasn't going to end peacefully. The thing about the Tetraforce didn't really faze her. After all, she hadn't heard of the Triforce either, so that wasn't too high on the priority list. "Nevermind this tetraforce thing! We have other things to deal with right now!" she muttered back to them sharply. As intimidating as this guy was, they had to get past him to give the Fierce Deity a body, and get Shadow Ester a boyfriend.

Igos Du Ikana began to approach the three travelers, sword poised to strike. Chance cursed under his breath. "Crap, I just remembered something." he said, again cursing their luck. "Sunlight is how you kill this bastard, and it's literally midnight outside. Get ready for a long fight!"
Ester let out a groan, as if it weren't bad enough! she shook her head, getting into the best fighting position she could as a Twili. "What about fire? Would that kind of light work?"
Chance stroked his chin while evading a swing of the King of Ikana's sword. "Only in a massive amount... like a huge meteor or something. But where are we going to get-"
The Fierce Deity cleared his throat. "Would you allow me to fix that problem?"
Chance scoffed. "We would have to wear you for that!"
Ester gulped, still uncertain of what they should do. After all, she couldn't be sure if either of them would be able to handle him. Suddenly she snapped her fingers. "Shadow Ester! You put the mask on!" She shouted.
Both Chance and Shadow Ester stared in surprise at Ester. "You're joking!" Chance shouted as Shadow Ester said "Really?" at the same exact moment. The Fierce Deity saw where Ester was going with this, however. "I'm game!" it said almost too quickly. Shadow Ester was screaming the next second as the mask hovered over and slapped itself onto her face. She fell to her knees as her clothing lightened to a gray hue, her pale skin glowed a healthy shade of tan, and strange markings appeared to etch themselves onto her face.
her screaming only got worse as her eyes began to glow white and her sword split into a double helix, while her shield grew thicker. her muscle tone increased considerably as well. Igos Du Ikana was now backing away. "NO! Do you realize what you've done??? Light and Darkness are not meant to mix! You've doomed us all!"
something struck Chance as odd then. "If Shadow Ester is darkness, then didn't you just admit that the Fierce Deity is in fact a source of light, and therefore good?"
Ester had only suggested Shadow Ester join with the Diety, but things escalated all too quickly. "Holy-" she yelped, jumping back as the screaming began. Shadow Ester looked pretty good, though she had initially pictured something much worse when the mask was put on.
Chance had a point, why was the Deity the good one? "Alright! Let's get this thing going!" She cheered, though she sounded a bit nervous. After all, would Shadow Ester be able to separate from the mask once it was over?
A dark chuckle came from Shadow Ester as she finally stood, now matching the 9 foot king of Ikana in height. In an instant, she teleported behind him and severed both his legs, Then snapped her fingers. at first this seemed to do nothing, but soon a rumbling was heard outside, and moments later, a huge flaming rock smashed through the roof onto Igos Du Ikana, both incapacitating him and having his remains burn into nothing.
Shadow Ester said something in a language that seemed filled with power, yet also revered. Probably the Goddesses native tongue, Chance reasoned. then the mask fell from Shadow Ester's face, and she fell to the ground unconscious, reverting to her normal appearance. There was a difference however. Her face still held the red and blue markings of the Deity mask.
The Mask floated to a chest that had appeared in the center of the room. "Would someone be so kind as to open this?" it asked. then as an afterthought, it added, "I don't have any hands."
Ester could only stare with wide eyes as the mini boss was defeated. "I... Don't want to be on his bad side..." She muttered.
Ester glanced over at Chance with concern in her eyes. As good as it would be to get Shadow Ester off of Chance, she had a feeling that this might not be worth it. Perking up slightly, she floated over to the chest and gingerly opened it, bracing herself for whatever would come out. 'I hope this doesn't kill us all!' She thought shutting her eyes
As the chest opened, the mask holding the deity began to show signs of cracking as power surged out of the chest and into it. After the last of the power had been transferred, which had looked like a large golden fluid being sucked into the mask, a body began to form from the mask.
First came the hair. Silver in color, it extended down to it's as-of-yet nonexistent shoulders. Then the Ears poked out from behind the locks of silver. They were distinctly pointed. as the torso shimmered into existence, It was revealed that this particular Deity was shirtless at the moment. On top of that, he was VERY well toned as far as muscles go. As his arms came into existence, they appeared crossed in front of him. Thankfully he had the brains to be wearing pants when his legs showed up. Finally when he had formed completely, the mask cracked in half, revealing the face to be an exact copy of the mask itself. He seemed to be more concerned with Shadow Ester's well being than with his non-existent shirt, though. Running over to her, he leaned over and picked her up bridal style.
"Shadow? Are you alright?" he said, shaking her a bit, not noticing the Gerudo bandits sneaking up behind Ester and Chance.

As soon as the chest was opened, the darkness dispersed in an instant. Ester breathed in, removing her mask, still quite thankful to be alive, and that Shadow Ester was fine. Now all they had to do was get out of there without any of the ReDeads finding them.
Suddenly, there was a sharp scream and Ester's eyes grew big, her body freezing stiffly as the ReDead's spell worked on both she and Chance. Like a bolt, the two Gerudos lept from the shadows and grabbed both of them, binding their hands behind their backs. Ester felt like passing out, scared literally stiff from the sudden attack. 'Oh Goddesses, Chance!' As soon as the feeling came back to her limbs, she started to struggle in the arms of one of the bandits. "Oh no you don't!" A male voice snapped, and a sheathed sword came down hard against the back of her neck, incapacitating her instantly. The same happened to Chance, and they pulled the two back into the shadows, making certain to get away before the other couple noticed.
Slowly, Shadow Ester's eyes opened and she let out a groan. She put a hand to her face, "Oh jeez... What..." Just then, she noticed the Deity, and her cheeks turned red. "Oh... um... y-ya know that was a bit uncalled for, taking over my body without my permission." She gave a sheepish smile, uncertain of why she was acting like a goof.

The Fierce Deity flashed Shadow Ester a smile revealing sharp, ferocious teeth. Just another trait that said 'I'm dangerous'. "Yeah, I know. Doesn't mean it wasn't necessary though. Besides, without us, Igos Du Ikana would have killed Chance and Ester." He looked around the room, not really panicked, more like he was just being observant.
"Looks like the Gerudos got 'em." he said as his eyes fell to a piece of telltale cloth on the floor wedged under a rock. He sniffed the air then, and a look of surprise crossed his features. "A half-bred male... this doesn't look good... Why would they be in Ikana anyway?"
