Fable : Fall of the Guild
Timoteo awoke to a soft hand, rubbing affectionately along his chest. He opened his eyes a little, seeing the ceiling of Bianca’s room. He could feel her, warm, tender, lying close by his left side. Looking over a little, he saw she was smiling, meeting his eyes. She was on her right side, her right elbow to the bed beneath her, letting her sit up a little. Her plait of hair over her forehead swayed a little as she came closer, Bianca pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Good morning.” She murmured out, nuzzling the side of her face close to his. He smiled a little, closing his eyes again. “You too. Sleep well?” “Mhm. One night in that carriage really made me miss my bed.” She lightly said, bringing her head back, gazing at his face. He smiled more, opening his eyes a little. She started to rub downwards, feeling along his toned stomach. She smiled a bit more. “When I first woke up, I noticed you were...Amorous.” She revealed, rubbing even lower.
He held back a chuckle. “Yeah, I can tell.” Bianca rubbed down to his loins, slipping her hand into his underwear. He looked to her eyes as she played around a little, feeling her slowly run her hand along him. “I guess we should’ve done something, last night...We were both tired, though.” She lightly said, a bit regretfully. He chuckled a little. “That can happen even if I get some relief, the night before. It’s nobody’s fault, it’s a normal thing.” “Mm.” Bianca mumbled, feeling the tips of her fingers along his tip. He reached over under the covers with one arm, finding her chest, giving her left globe a few rubs, squeezing lightly.”How about you? Are you feeling a little anxious, this morning?” He felt down to her thighs, slipping his hand between them and under her tiny pair of panties, rubbing the full length of his hand along her. Her soft nether hair ran along his palm, his fingers trailing along her plump, supple lips, feeling how warm they were.
She smiled a little more, almost with embarrassment. “...We should’ve done something, last night...” She simply repeated. He grinned a little. “Come up over me.” He said, slipping his hand away from her, pulling the bed sheets down from them both, bringing it down to their waists. Bianca looked over in the direction of his pack, sitting on the floor by her door. “I don’t really want to get out of bed yet, and the condoms are all the way over there...” She mumbled out. “I should keep some by the bed, from now on.” She added, a hint of determination in her voice. He reached over, smoothing some of her hair behind an ear, clearing the right side of her face. “I had something else in mind.” She looked at him, her eyes warming up with wanting. She gave his member a light squeeze in her fist. “Such as?” She asked, curiously. “I wanted to get a taste of you. C’mon, come over me.” Her face began to simmer with blush.
She blinked. “You...Want me to be on top, for that? Wouldn’t it be easier for me to be lying down?” She quietly asked. Timoteo reached over, beginning to rub his thumb along her left nipple, feeling the sensitive nub begin to stiffen at the attention. He shook his head lightly, smiling warmly. “Maybe, but I’d like you to be on top, this time. Just come over my face. You don’t have to sit down on my face entirely, I wouldn’t be able to breath.” “But...” He leaned over, kissing her lips gently. Gently pinching her nipple between his thumb and index finger, he teasingly whispered out “C’mon, I really want to taste your juice.” Bianca’s face went fully red, his words having the desired effect. Her eyes slowly grew fogged with wanting as she gave his member a few light tugs. “Alright...But I want to taste you, too. It’s been a bit since the last time.” She sheepishly said. He smiled warmly. “I’m not going to say no.” Bianca smiled happily, gave him a kiss, and started to move.
She crawled up over him, putting her knees on either side of his arms, her feet back by the top of his head. She looked downwards, seeing only his throat. “Like this?” She asked. He could see her entirely from his position; her thick, juicy thighs met together at the darkness of her underwear, the triangular section of fabric covering her womanhood having a small damp spot over it, already. Running back and around her, her underwear went up between her cheeks in a thin string, leaving much for his eyes to drink in. He could just barely make out her rosebud, covered by her underwear, her entrance giving an enticing little clench. He reached his arms around her thighs, grabbing her panties with his left hand, pulling it to the side and exposing her blushing lips. “Just come down a little more...” He gently urged. Bianca slowly started lowering her hips, not wanting to smother him by coming down too quickly. When her lips met his, he gave her clitoris a little kiss, flicking his tongue against her afterwards.
Bianca tensed up for a moment from the electric sensation, pleasure fluttering up her spine. “Ooh...” She quietly moaned out. He licked at her for a few more seconds before he felt her lean over, her ample mounds pushing into his stomach, her immense bosom pressing into him like cushions between them. She rubbed her hands along the insides of his thighs for a moment before bringing her left to his shaft, her right down to his orbs. Fondling his orbs a little, she was quite gentle, having fun as she played around with his undercarriage. She held his member steady at the base, using her index finger and thumb to form a ring around him. She closed her eyes, kissing at his tip a few times, feeling him twitch in response. The kisses made butterflies appear in his stomach, Timoteo loving the sensation, encouraging her by spending a few seconds just licking along her lips, slipping in between and tasting her nectar as it seeped out.
He poked his tongue into her love canal, lapping along her womanly valley afterwards, eventually licking around at her clit. Bianca licked along his shaft, getting his length generously slick with her saliva. Her eyes open a crack, she rubbed her moist lips along his tip, rubbing her saliva off on it. She licked at him like he were candy, slowly dragging the full length of her tongue up along his tip, flicking the tip of her tongue past the eye of his member. She wiggled the tip of her tongue around his eye a few times, prodding against him, as if testing to see if she could actually fit her tongue into his member. He shuddered and sucked her clit between her lips, massaging it around, flicking his tongue at it. After a few seconds, he gave her a few kisses, kissing at her clit before doing the same to her lips. He licked at his lips afterwards, tasting the juices she had leaked out.
Bianca swirled her tongue around his tip a few times before giving it a passionate kiss. She bobbed her head down, letting him slip through her lips as she kissed him, her lips sliding down his shaft as she lowered her head. She ran her tongue around him, tasting his skin, his tip rubbing along the back of her tongue. She slowly pulled her head back, keeping her lips tight around him, thrashing her tongue around his member’s head. When she had pulled back enough that her lips were nearing the edge of his tip, she slowed down, moving her lips back and forth, massaging the end of his tool with them. Timoteo was rock hard, a few beads of sweat developing on his forehead from the eager attention she was paying him. She let his tip come free from her mouth eventually, Timoteo hearing Bianca lightly say “Let me know when you’re about to finish up, okay?...I’ve got a little surprise...” Timoteo smiled and flicked his tongue at her clit in response.
She trembled, closing her eyes for a second. She opened her mouth wide and slipped him back inside, hungrily sucking at about half his length, making slight slurping sounds from her passionate movements. She slowly started moving her left hand, using the ring formed from her two fingers to stroke at the lower half of his length, her fingers slipping along thanks to her saliva. Still keeping her underwear pulled to the side with his left hand, Timoteo moved his right hand over, rubbing some fingers along her dripping lips, getting his fingers wet rather quickly. He licked along her hardening clit, the firm nub standing free from it’s hood, exposed and taking all the attention his tongue could give. He trapped it between his lips and flicked his tongue around at it, giving it a light suck before it came free from his lips. She moaned against his member, using a bit more pressure to encourage him further, fiddling with his orbs a little faster.
Timoteo slipped a finger into her, poking deep into her canal, wiggling his finger around. Bianca clamped down on his digit, her insides squeezing down on the intruder. He slipped his finger back and forth a few times, still licking vigorously at her clit, feeling her inner walls try and milk his digit. Eventually, he slipped his finger back out, brought it up higher, and poked it between her big, creamy cheeks. “Mhm?” He mumbled out, kissing at her clit a few times. He rubbed the tip of his finger around her rosebud, her own moisture rubbing off on her as he massaged her sphincter. Bianca pulled her head back, letting him come free from her welcoming oral confines. She was breathing hard, almost panting. “Yes, slip it in...” She softly urged. He didn’t need any more prompting. Pressing against her, the tip of his digit easily enough pierced through her entrance, the juice coating his digit letting him slip deeper and deeper inside. Bianca stifled a moan by slipping him back between her lips, Bianca constantly using a heavy amount of pressure as she slurped at his length.
He focused on her clit as he slipped his finger as deep into her as it could go, feeling her tight ring squeeze hard at his digit near the knuckle. He slowly started moving his hand back and forth, rocking his finger through her rump, feeling her clench down constantly. She let up a cute little whimper. Her thighs quivered. She let out a few shaky breaths. With the suction she was using, he felt like blood was being forced more and more into his manhood, almost to the point of numbness. He tensed up, fire boiling through him, originating from his loins. Bianca went into a little burst of speed, bobbing her head faster, working her tongue in a frenzy. Timoteo pulled back just enough to groan out “Now!” He started working his finger faster and faster, shooting it back and forth inside her curvy tush. Bianca suddenly pulled her left hand from him, no longer stroking at him. She gave him a start when she suddenly brought her head down as fast as she could, stabbing his member all the way into her mouth, his tip poking into her throat.
Her lips tight around his base, her tongue stuck out past her bottom lip, Bianca shutting her eyes tight, just barely keeping herself from gagging. She made him grit his teeth a little, Timoteo forcing back a moan when he spewed. Getting his end all the way in her mouth was a blissful experience, his legs tensing up a bit at the fire coming from between them. He fired off a few thick loads, Bianca rubbing his orbs around as he finished, giving them very gentle squeezes, trying to coax out as much as possible. Still in the middle of his orgasm, he relaxed enough to start flicking his tongue at her clit again. He felt Bianca’s rear passage grip at him in quivering waves, as if a shudder were running through her. Finally, she clenched down as hard as she could. Fluids splashed out hard against his nose and upper lip, Timoteo caught off-guard, almost breathing in some of her juice when it splashed over his nose. He licked her for several moments after her orgasm, though considerably more slowly, his eyes closed as he lovingly kissed at her.
Her clitoris had retreated back under it’s hood at the onset of the orgasm, and every kiss he planted over it’s hood would make Bianca let out a shivering breath through her nose, her warm breath running over his orbs. Slowly, she pulled her head back, keeping her lips tight around him as she went. He slipped his digit out of her rear, dropping both arms down by his sides, panting faintly against her soaking wet mound. She did like he had, gently releasing his orbs, holding him at his base with a few fingers from both hands, keeping him steady. Slowly, lovingly, she pressed kisses to his wet tip, rubbing her lips at him and sending sparks of sensitivity along his nerves. After about two dozen seconds, she started to move.
He laid there with a content smile, watching as she sat down on the bed beside him, turning and facing him. She had a big, satisfied smile on her face, her cheeks deep red with blush. She began to pull her tiny pair of panties off, murmuring out “Don’t want to soak these too badly...I might need to wear them...” He grinned a little, a few seconds later relaxing back to a smile. She noticed how much she had squirted against his mouth, her eyes going a little wide for a second before she started to blush more. “I-I’m sorry I...There’s so much of it...You sent most of your’s right down my throat, I didn’t mean to make a mess...” He grinned again. “Don’t worry, I take it as a sign that you were feeling pretty good. I like feeling like I did a good job.” Bianca smiled with a bit of embarrassment, getting on her hands and knees, crawling closer to his side. “Well, the least I can do is help clean up...” She cooed out, her eyes closing a little.
Before he could think of saying anything, she had closed her eyes and leaned over, bringing her face to his. She kissed him with a spark of excitement, Timoteo kissing her back passionately. He reached over, bringing his hands under her hanging globes, cupping her and giving her a few playful jiggles. She licked at his lips a little bit, unabashedly tasting the watery cum she had sprayed at him, Timoteo parting his lips and reaching out with his own. When their tongues touched, some kind of primal flare of delight ran through them. Timoteo slowly took his hands from her chest. She brought one knee over him, setting it down on his other side. Resting down over him, she pressed her body against his, letting her chest push into his, her warm, wet nether regions snug against his lower stomach. She slipped her hands under his head, Bianca letting out a trembling breath against his cheek, rubbing her tongue against him hard and fast.
He brought his hands up to the small of her back, holding her close, feeling along her hot skin. His right hand quickly enough drifted downwards, giving her left cheek a firm squeeze, his fingers sinking into her juicy flesh. He licked her tongue back, playing games with her, chasing her into her own mouth before pulling back, teasing her after him, flicking his tip against her’s before coiling around her. After around three minutes, the two finally slowed down, Bianca eventually raising her head up a little. They gazed into each other’s eyes for several seconds, their eyes peaceful, full of warmth, and in no rush to leave the other’s. They both started to smile a little bit. He brought his right hand up from her bum, gently stroking along the small of her back with both hands, feeling along her soft, smooth skin. Bianca gently stroked her thumbs along his cheeks, slowly going from his cheekbones to near the corners of his mouth before heading back up again.
They shared a tender silence for several seconds before Bianca quietly began to speak. “If someone had asked me four years ago if I thought I’d ever be doing this with you, I would’ve said no. No, because...I just never thought you’d like someone like me. Or that we’d end up together, at all. It just seemed too good to ever hope for.” Her eyes slowly began to water up, but she was still smiling. “I thought about you so much, so many times...You were all I ever wanted. When I went up to the Guild to see you again, to tell you the truth, I was scared of what I might find...I was scared you might not be interested in talking, at all. I was afraid you might not even remember me.” Timoteo quietly listened, his smile fading. Bianca’s cheeks went a little pink again as she said “The things we’ve done...I had thought about them for a long time, but I never actually imagined we’d ever be doing them, together. You make me feel amazing, every time you hold me...And I’d do anything for you.”
He smiled gently. He didn’t feel very ashamed when his eyes began to water a little, too. Bianca stopped stroking his cheeks, her smile weakening, her blush disappearing. Her voice went tiny. A tear rolled down from her left eye, falling and hitting his left cheek. “I don’t know if I say it enough...But I love you, Timoteo. I always have, and I always will.” Timoteo brought a hand up to the side of her face, gently stroking at her cheek. “You’re crying.” He mumbled. She closed her eyes, leaning her head towards his hand. “That’s not a bad thing, is it?...I’ve cried in front of you, before. You’re crying, too...” She murmured out, smiling gently. He smiled more. “I love you, too. You mean the world to me, Bianca. I’ll always be there for you.” He lightly said. Bianca smiled more, another tear rolling from her closed eyes. He felt warm inside, watching her beautiful face brighten up with a serene smile, her tears of joy leaving sparkling trails down her cheeks.
Bringing her hands down to his shoulders, her elbows to his chest on either side of her bosom, she rested down against him again, nestling her face between his shoulder and the side of his neck. He wrapped his arms around her, closing his eyes, stroking along her spine. She kissed gently at the side of his neck, Timoteo giving her a kiss on her shoulder in response. He smiled happily, enjoying the silence, enjoying the intimacy, the openness and acceptance. They laid in bed and cuddled for well over half an hour, cooling off in each other’s arms. Timoteo felt like he could fall back asleep, so fulfilling and relaxing it was to lie there, just holding her close. When her stomach growled against him, however, he chuckled a little. Bianca kissed at his neck a few times before he released her, Bianca sitting up on her knees over him. Pressing her loins down against him as she sat over him, she smoothed her hands down to his chest, Bianca smiling warmly as she looked down to his eyes. “Are you hungry?” She asked. Timoteo’s eyes were only partially open as he said “No, not really...I woke up in the middle of the night and ate some of your stew. I’m good.”
Bianca spoke quietly, her tone a little playful. “You’d think I wouldn’t be hungry, after everything you gave me. For a few seconds, I was afraid some of it was going to trickle into my nose. That’s never happened before, it gave me a start.” Timoteo raised an eyebrow. “Really? It was going into your nose?” Bianca smiled more, blushing faintly as she said “You were poking into my throat, after all...I thought I felt my nose get watery, near the back. I think I got everything down before it could go in my nose too much, however.” Timoteo smiled a bit more, saying “Thank Avo. Trying to clean it up probably would’ve been a real hassle.” Bianca chuckled lightly. She leaned over and gave him another kiss before she murmured out “Just relax...I’ll cook something up, I’ll make more than enough me, in case you get hungry...I’ll be back soon...” Timoteo closed his eyes and rested, mumbling out “Mm, alright...” Bianca smiled affectionately and began to get up from the bed, thoughtfully saying “We could both use a dip in a stream...I know of one nearby, want to bathe with me after I eat?”
Timoteo smiled widely, saying “I’d love to.” Bianca kept smiling as she got to her feet. Leaving her panties by him on the bed, she walked away in the nude, heading over to her bedroom door. Opening the door up, she stepped outside, walking over towards the living room. Unknown to them both, Grizelda stepped out from her bedroom, unintentionally silent as a ghost. She noticed Bianca’s bedroom door to still be wide open, glad Bianca was finally awake, glad she could have a talk with her about her decision. Walking over, her eyebrows went up a little when she saw Timoteo, reclining on Bianca’s bed completely in the nude, a pleased smile on his face. In the strong candlelight around the cottage, she could see a shine over Timoteo’s member as well as in a little patch over his lower stomach, a sultry little smile crossing Grizelda’s lips. She didn’t disturb him, seeing Bianca wasn’t inside the room. Timoteo kept relaxing, not hearing Grizelda walk towards the living room of the cottage.
His eyes snapped open wide when he heard Grizelda speak, his smile withering away. “Hello, Bianca. Pleasant morning?” Bianca instantly let out a surprised, high-pitched shriek, running footsteps racing towards the bedroom. Timoteo raised his head in time to see Bianca run into her room, slamming the door shut behind herself. She ran over to the bed, jumped on top, and pulled her bed sheets over them both. “Oh Avo, I completely forgot she was here.” He muttered out, annoyed with himself. In the darkness under her sheets, he couldn’t see that her face was red like a cherry, her eyes shut tight. “She saw me! She saw me completely naked!” Bianca rapidly whispered, huddled up a little by his legs. Timoteo raised his eyebrows a little, genuinely saying “I’m really sorry, I completely forgot she was here!...I would’ve warned you, but...” Bianca rocked around under the sheets, groaning out “Avo, she saw me totally naked!...Oh, I’m going to hear about this for ages to come!...She’s going to be teasing me about this for months!...”
Timoteo sat up under her bed sheets, unable to see a thing. Grizelda gave Bianca’s bedroom door a few knocks, her tone amused as she said “Bianca, I needed to have a talk with you. I apologize if I interrupted your little exhibitionist moment.” Bianca poked her head out from under her sheets, indignantly crying out “Just go away! I didn’t know you were here!” Grizelda tittered and said “I love a good morning as much as any lady, but I typically clothe myself before leaving the privacy of my bedroom, just in case.” “J-Just go away!” Bianca cried out, her tone heavily embarrassed. Grizelda smugly said “Please, Bianca. You’re embarrassing yourself. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. I need to speak with you, it’s important.” Bianca pressed her face down against her bed, mumbling out “I don’t care how important it is, you snuck up on me on purpose!” Grizelda laughed a little. “If you’re becoming comfortable enough with your body to walk around in the nude, I’m proud, but you should be giving me a warning, not the other way around.”
Bianca indignantly cried out “It’s not like that at all!” Timoteo crept closer to her from under the bed sheets, bringing a hand to her back. His face was calm, even a little serious. She pulled the bed sheets up at his touch, casting him in a bit of light. She looked back at him, her face still rather red. When she saw his expression, she relaxed a little, surprised. “Bianca, it really is important. We talked about it, last night. It’s something you really need to hear from her.” Bianca’s expression slowly went peaceful, her eyes becoming a little worried. Not asking him for clarification, she slowly called out “Alright, Grizelda...I’m coming out.” “Do make sure to pull your underwear on, at the very least. Not that it’ll cover much, though.” Bianca began to crawl from the bed, quickly saying “I’m getting fully dressed, okay? I didn’t know you were home!” “Well, now you know.” Grizelda said with amusement, laughing afterwards. Timoteo pulled the sheets from himself, handing Bianca her tiny pair of panties, letting her begin getting dressed.
When she was fully dressed, she walked over to the bedroom door, Timoteo pulling the bed sheets over himself from the waist down as Bianca pulled open the door. Grizelda stood there with a big smile, raising an eyebrow. Bianca gave her guardian a bit of an annoyed look, stating “You snuck up on me on purpose.” Grizelda smiled more. “Well, I can’t help it. I had a feeling you’d shriek, and what an amusing sound it was.” “You’re loving this, aren’t you?” Bianca mumbled, her brow deep. Bianca walked past Grizelda, heading towards the living room. Grizelda grinned, saying nothing more. She looked over at Timoteo. She raised a hand and blew him a kiss, winking before walking off towards the living room. He felt a little embarrassed, knowing Bianca had left the bedroom door open, beginning to wonder if Grizelda had seen him resting.
By the time Timoteo had gotten dressed and stepped out into the living room, Bianca and Grizelda were arguing. “...Bianca, it’s for the best.” “Grizelda, this is my home, too! If it’s going to be under siege from Witchspotters, I want to help!” “You can’t. You shouldn’t. This isn’t a fight I want you to take part of.” “Why not? Please don’t treat me like a child, Grizelda. I’ve learned much from you-” “It’s not a matter of whether or not you can fight. Darkwood is going to be too dangerous, I don’t know how this will affect the region’s future. The Witchspotters and League may see fit to surround Darkwood and slowly work their way towards the center, killing everything they come across. Slowly, they could find us...And Darkwood will be a completely different region.” “You’re assuming they’ve got more manpower and resources than they must. I find it hard to believe that they could invade Darkwood from all corners and rush for the heart.”
“Fear can make people do troubling things, Bianca. If the Witchspotters or League spread news that they cornered the witch of Darkwood, Albion’s people may rise up for a witch-hunt.” Timoteo stood in the entrance to the hallway, not making his presence obvious, simply listening. Grizelda was staying calm, but Bianca was obviously moved by Grizelda’s request, both hurt and frustrated. Bianca spoke coldly and quietly as she muttered out “If the people rise up, let them burn.” Grizelda looked over to the side, looking into the crackling fireplace. “If they join in, I won’t hesitate to kill them, don’t you worry about that.” Grizelda simply said. Slowly, Grizelda looked back at Bianca, saying “Bianca, you need to understand. Try looking at things from my point of view. I don’t want you to worry about the things that fight is sure to bring. I don’t want to fight with the worry that if the worst comes to pass, I’ll be leaving you alone. While I’m fighting for Darkwood, I need to know you’re safe somewhere, that the fighting won’t affect you.”
“I-I know, Grizelda. I understand. But see it from my perspective, too.” Bianca gently said, her tone calming down. Pleadingly, she said “I don’t want to leave Darkwood if it’s going to be in danger! I don’t want to leave if I might never see this place again! This is my home, and I don’t want to lose another one!...I don’t want to lose you, too!...” Bianca hung her head down a little, tears creeping down her cheeks as she spoke, her eyes stinging from the sudden onset of emotions. Grizelda looked at her for a moment in silence before she softly said “I love you, Bianca.” Bianca raised a hand to her face, sniffling lightly, rubbing away her tears. “I know you do...” She mumbled out. Grizelda faintly said “I don’t want this fight to be your’s. Bad enough it’s mine. I want you to be safe, comfortable. I know you’re a capable Will-user, and I know you want to protect Darkwood as much as I do...But I don’t want to see harm come to you, not in the way the Witchspotters would act. I need you somewhere you’ll be safe, and Darkwood won’t be the haven it was, in just a few short days.”
“Just let me help...” “I’m sorry, Bianca...This is for the best, it’s the best for you. This isn’t our last goodbye. I will be working hard to try and have you come back, some day.” “...You think you might die, don’t you?” “I think that I’m only human, and humans are not infallible creatures. I make mistakes, like anybody else. Mistakes against people with firearms, especially numerous people at once, can have...Unfortunate results.” “Grizelda...” “Bianca, I want you to collect some of your things. Everything that is valuable to you, everything you would miss should you leave it behind. I want you to take it all and go with Timoteo to Snowspire. There, you’ll be safe. And when I make Darkwood safe again, you can come back home.”
“Grizelda, please don’t-” “I want you to secure passage on the first ship you can, and get to the Northern Wastes. With the fair summer weather and a sturdy enough ship, led by a decent pilot of course, any ice in the ocean should be negligible.” “Please...” Bianca began to tear up again. “I want you to get a home, and try to be happy. I don’t think the League will be leaving Snowspire alone for much longer, but the Northern Wastes will have the weakest League presence in all of Albion.” “I don’t want to lose you, too!...” Bianca said, putting her elbows to her knees, hanging her head down and putting her face in her hands.
Grizelda, in a soft and surprisingly motherly tone, said “You won’t lose me, Bianca. Even if I die against the Witchspotters or League, you’ll always have me. I’ve taught you everything I know, I’ve passed on everything I had to share. I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you’ve turned into. You’ve been the daughter I never had, ever since I met you.” Grizelda stood up, looking over at Timoteo. They met eyes for barely a second before Grizelda looked back at Bianca, approaching her chair. When Grizelda was close enough, Bianca wrapped her arms around Grizelda’s waist, pressing the side of her face into Grizelda’s tummy as she hugged her. Grizelda gave a start, but eventually began to smile warmly. She reached behind herself, took Bianca’s wrists, and lightly pulled her arms away from her. Bianca looked up, her eyes hurt, thinking her guardian was rejecting the embrace. Grizelda surprised Bianca by getting down on a knee, coming to the same level as Bianca, slipping her arms under her’s and hugging her close.
Bianca wrapped her arms around Grizelda again, shutting her eyes, hugging her tight. Timoteo watched as the two hugged for close to a minute before Grizelda gently said “He’s waiting...Think about him. Do this for both of us. He needs you safe as much as I do.” Bianca squeezed Grizelda tighter in her arms. “Grizelda...” She pleadingly murmured. “You wouldn’t turn against my wishes, would you?” Grizelda asked, slowly and warmly. “I...No...But...” Bianca quietly mumbled, trailing off. “So you’ll get up, get your things, take your lover to a stream, relax and relieve some stress, and then go up to Snowspire.” “Do you have to make it sound tawdry?...”Relieving stress”...” Grizelda laughed a little. They started to release each other, Grizelda standing back up, looking down at Bianca. “If you’re civilized and sophisticated while you’re in the act, you’re not doing it properly.” Grizelda simply said. Bianca looked over, spotting Timoteo.
His expression was mostly calm, a little worried, his eyes concerned for how Bianca was taking the news. Bianca slowly stood up, Grizelda walking towards Timoteo, saying “You were planning on going up to Snowspire eventually, anyway. I’m simply encouraging it, now.” “I was only planning on doing it once my mother was dead!” Bianca quickly said, her face turning a little frustrated again. Grizelda turned and looked at Bianca, surprising her as she said “And I think you’ll see that become reality, rather soon. I suspect Octavia will return to the Chasm of Blood sooner rather than later. I have my suspicions that there’s something special about that place, she needs it, specifically, for her goal. And when I see her again, you’ll get your chance for revenge, I promise.” Bianca’s eyes drifted towards the floor. Grizelda walked up to Timoteo, gave him a quick kiss on his cheek, and headed past him for her bedroom. Bianca slowly stood up, walking over towards him. “You okay?” He lightly asked.
Bianca barely met his eyes before they went off to the side. Weakly, she said “No...But I guess it’s for the best...We were planning on going up to Snowspire eventually, but not under these circumstances...” “It’ll be okay...With all that gold I got from Alexander, I could buy us passage on a private ship to Snowspire. With the rest of the money and jewels, I could get us a home right away.” Timoteo slowly said, trying to comfort her. Bianca blinked a few times. She raised a hand, feeling through some of her hair. She bit at her bottom lip for a moment before she softly said “I don’t want to go...I just don’t...Grizelda will be so far, and Darkwood...I...” Bianca hung her head down a little, weakly saying “...I need to start packing some stuff...Do you want to help?...” Timoteo gently brought a hand to her shoulder, saying “Yes, of course, I’ll help...” Bianca simply walked past him without another word, slowly heading for her room. He turned around and watched her, his expression sympathetic.
He walked into her room a few moments after her. She had already grabbed a black velvet sack from somewhere in her room. She stood by her desk, taking things, slowly slipping them into the bag. “...I’ll need this...And, I want to bring that...” She mumbled aloud. She looked over her shoulder for a moment before walking over to her bookshelf. Timoteo stood in the doorway and watched, slowly looking around. “I’ll want to read this one, again...And that one, too...” She softly said, her voice beginning to tighten up a little. Looking at a shelf on the wall nearby, Timoteo watched her walk over. His eyes went a little surprised. Bianca’s chin was quivering. Tears were running down her cheeks. She reached up and grabbed one or two small objects, dropping the trinkets into her bag. “A-And these...And...And this, too...” Bianca held a small crystal skull in her hand, a dark glimmer running over the crystal in the candlelight of the cottage.
Words had been inscribed all along the tiny skull, Timoteo not seeing the skull closely enough to make them out. Bianca slowly walked over to her bed, taking a seat down on the edge. She stared at the skull in silence for several seconds. “...Grizelda gave this to me, on the day I asked her to start teaching me about Will...” She choked out. Bianca grit her teeth, raising her eyebrows a little. She slowly let the skull slip from her hand, dropping it into her bag. As soon as she had, she dropped the bag to the floor. She put her elbows to her knees and held her head in her hands. Her tone a bit panicked, she weakly said “I can’t do this, I just can’t do this!” Timoteo quickly walked over, sitting down beside her on the edge of her bed. He put a comforting hand on her back. Bianca sobbed a few times, covering her face with her hands. “I can’t just leave! I d-don’t want to lose another home! I can’t abandon Darkwood!”
Angrily, and with obvious sorrow, Bianca loudly said “I don’t want to leave her to those people! I can’t let them destroy Darkwood for us!” “Bianca...” Bianca slowly felt her hands up through her hair. “No, I can’t do it. I can’t.” She shook her head a little, sniffling, saying “I just can’t, I won’t. I’m staying in Darkwood. I can’t abandon this place. I’m not letting someone take another home away from me...” Timoteo was quiet for a moment before he said “...Let me talk to Grizelda. I’ll see if I can change her mind.” He slowly stood up from the bed, beginning to walk towards the bedroom door. “Tim...” Bianca mumbled out, watching him. “Let me see what I can do.” He simply said, giving her a confident smile.
Walking over to Grizelda’s bedroom door, he saw it was open a crack, Timoteo giving it a quick knock before starting to open it up. “Grizelda, I wanted to talk to you.” He said, looking around inside. Grizelda was seated at her desk nearby, glancing over her shoulder at him. “Certainly.” She calmly said, standing up from her chair, walking towards him. Timoteo glanced through the doorway to Bianca’s room before quietly and discreetly saying “Look, Bianca’s not taking this well at all. She just tried packing up some stuff, and it stressed her out so much that she ended up crying. She hates the idea of losing this place, and she doesn’t want to lose you, either.” Grizelda looked at him as if she were taken aback. “She’s not going to lose me, and Darkwood will always be here. And she’ll be living with you, she should be pleased.” Grizelda quietly said.
Timoteo patiently said “You don’t get it. You, yourself, aren’t sure you’ll survive against all of the Witchspotters or League members. How do you think Bianca feels? It’s like she’s losing her dad, all over again. Bianca needs a place to call home, she needs a place where she feels like she has roots. She has that, here. Losing that is going to do real damage to her. We already agreed to go up to Snowspire, yeah. But that was before Bianca thought she was going to lose this place, and possibly lose you. Living somewhere else wouldn’t be so bad if she knew this place was still here for her.” Grizelda’s eyes slowly went down and off to the side. He was pleased to see his words had had some effect. She thought for a few moments before meeting his eyes again. “It’s still for the best. It hurts to think that this is traumatizing her, but I would rather that than think about her being captured and burned as a witch.” Timoteo’s face started to twist up with anger.
“I don’t want to run anymore, either. The League took my father, and I can’t save him. Now they’re threatening her, you, and your home. I’m tired of it. I’m sick and tired of it. She doesn’t want to leave you to them, and neither do I. It’s time to take a stand.” Grizelda slowly blinked, raising up her hands a little between them, saying “Tim, I appreciate your concern, but I can handle myself. I can understand your want for revenge, after what’s happened to your family. But-” “But nothing. I’m not going. I’m not leaving Darkwood.” They both heard Bianca cut in, coming from behind him. He turned, the both of them seeing her standing in the doorway. Her eyes were red, but she had wiped away her tears and gotten control of herself again. Bianca shook her head gently. “I’m not letting them have the satisfaction of having ran me out of my own home.” She said, walking over. Slowly, carefully, Grizelda said “Bianca, it’s for the best that you go. I’ve asked you to do something, and I expect you to do it. I know what’s best for you.”
“What about my opinion? I know what you want for me, Grizelda...And I just can’t do it. I don’t want to leave Darkwood, I don’t want to leave it to them. Please, think about what you’re asking me to do. Think about how it makes me feel.” Bianca said, pleadingly. Grizelda leaned her head forwards a tad, her eyes conflicted. Her eyes darted around, her mind obviously racing. She eventually looked up to Timoteo, stared at him for a few seconds, then looked at Bianca. She stared at her, too, before she slowly said “If you really insist, and I can’t change your mind, then I’ll allow you to stay at the home I have in Darkwood’s heart-” Bianca cut Grizelda off, faintly mumbling “Oh, thank Avo” before she stepped over and embraced Grizelda. She hugged Grizelda tight, pressing against her with affection. Grizelda smiled a little and held Bianca back, continuing.
“Of course, you’ll still need to pack whatever belongings you want to keep with you. You’ll be free to visit the cottage, of course, but once the Witchspotters come to Darkwood, I’ll want you both to remain at the heart. Don’t worry about your furniture, the home at the heart is fully furnished and stocked.” “Thank you so much...” Bianca quietly said, beginning to release Grizelda. “Thank you.” Timoteo said, smiling a little, raising his eyebrows slightly. “I’ll show you the way to the house once you’ve gotten your things. Timoteo mentioned that packing was stressing you out. Will you be able to manage?” “Now that I know I’m not losing Darkwood and everything in it?” Bianca asked, smiling a bit. “Without a doubt.” She simply stated. Bianca slowly turned around and exited the room, walking over to her own. “I hope this isn’t a mistake.” Grizelda gently said, crossing her arms under her impressive bust. “I’m sure it isn’t.” Timoteo said, smiling a little.
Grizelda looked sidelong at him, beginning to smile a little as she said “Well, either way, you’ve made my Bianca happy, again. And I trust you’ll continue to make her happy in her new home...Your new home.” Timoteo nodded slightly. “Then I’m content. Bianca can have her eyes watch over Darkwood, and warn her if anybody’s coming too close to the heart for comfort. And should your new home come under siege, you can always teleport to your friend, the one who hates magi. Darrah, correct?” Timoteo nodded again. Grizelda let her arms go down by her sides as she took a few steps closer to him. A suggestive little smile grew on her plump lips, her eyes gleaming mischievously. “You’re a good man, Timoteo. You remind me of a few of the honourable men I’ve bedded, over the years.”
“Eh-” “If you weren’t Bianca’s, I might eat you up, myself.” He stammered a few times, his face slowly turning red. She grinned a little, holding back a laugh as she said “I’ll let you settle down. I’m going to go cook a nice, heavy stew. Bianca might need some help collecting her things...” She slowly walked past him, looking at him through the corners of her eyes as she moved, smiling pleasantly. He waited for her to start walking down the hall before he let out a relieved little sigh. He headed over to Bianca’s room, ready to help her collect whatever she wanted to bring with her to her new home.
After a good half an hour of rounding up things Bianca wanted to take with her, Grizelda told them her stew was almost done, the duo taking a break. Three black bags full of items were placed at the foot of her bed, Timoteo sitting down on the edge of her bed, his pack between his feet. Bianca sat down beside him as he rummaged around inside, feeling his hand through the thick layer of gold and jewels over his personal effects. When he found his Seal, he pulled it out. Glancing at Bianca, he said “I was wondering how Calvin and Gibbons were doing, it’s been a while since I last heard from them.” Bianca said nothing, watching as he closed his eyes and gave his Seal a bit of a squeeze. A few seconds passed with nothing appearing to happen. Timoteo slowly opened his eyes, his face turning confused. “...There’s nothing. It’s not like I’m reaching him but he’s not answering. There’s no connection, at all. It’s like...His Seal was destroyed.”
Timoteo slowly looked over at her, his mind turning to Marst, how the same thing had happened to her. Bianca gently suggested “Maybe he became worried about being detected, so he just got rid of his Seal?” Timoteo looked towards the floor, still holding his Seal. “Maybe. But I would’ve thought he’d at least have warned us that he was gonna disappear.” “Maybe he tried to, while we were sleeping?” Bianca hopefully murmured out. He gave a weak little shrug. He then tried contacting Gibbons, relieved when a blue glow began to surround his Seal, the connection established. “Gibbons? You there?” He asked. Gibbons said “Yeah, it’s good to hear from you. How’s Darkwood?” “It’s fine. How’s Oakvale?” “I’m not in Oakvale anymore, I’m kicking around Knothole Glade, now. League’s here in force. No sign of Brute.” Timoteo slowly said “Have you seen the Arena?” Gibbons sounded faintly surprised as he said “You heard about how the League’s taken it too, huh? No, I haven’t seen it yet, but I was planning on checking it out tomorrow. I’ve got a plan. I might be able to get inside the League.”
“If anyone can do it, it’s you. But, listen, since you’re around the Arena, I want to bring something to your attention...And maybe ask a favour about it.” “Shoot.” Timoteo leaned over, bringing his left elbow to his left knee. He was almost sighing the words out as he said “The League’s taking people to the Arena...Probably for executions. They have my dad.” Gibbons coldly said “Damn it. I hadn’t noticed, I probably haven’t been here for long enough.” Timoteo slowly said “If you notice, and if you think you can do something...If you end up helping my dad...” “If I see the League carting people off to the Arena, you’re damn right I’m gonna do something about it. You’ve got my word, Tim.” “He was already taken for Knothole Glade a couple of days ago, came from Dattebayo.” “By foot, or carriage?” “No clue. Probably carriage.” “Hmm. That’d speed things up, but taking a ship would slow it down and even it out. Your father might not have actually arrived at Knothole Glade, yet. It might still be a day or two before his ship reaches here.”
Timoteo slowly relaxed, a tense feeling creeping down his back suddenly straightening out. “That’s a relief.” He said, raising his eyebrows a little. Bianca smiled gently, reaching over, rubbing a hand along his shoulder blades. Timoteo’s expression turned a little cool as he said “Gibbons...I just tried contacting Calvin, and, uh...Well, there’s no response. None at all. He’s either gotten rid of his Seal, or...” Gibbons was quiet for a while, Timoteo eventually saying his name, wondering if he was still there. “...Yeah. I’m here.” Gibbons wearily said. Bianca softly said “He could’ve destroyed it for his own safety, Gibbons...” Gibbons let out a sigh. “Maybe so, Bianca. But I would’ve figured that worrywart would’ve at least said something. It doesn’t sound like him to just disappear without any sort of alert to the rest of us...Not unless the League was closing in on him, and he literally didn’t have time for anything except trying to hide his identity.”
“I would prefer believing in that than the alternative.” Bianca murmured out, raising an eyebrow slightly. “Feeling optimistic, then?” Gibbons said, his tone just slightly amused. “No...I just don’t want to lose hope. Until I see a body, I won’t count Calvin out.” Bianca simply said, a little flatly. “League doesn’t usually leave bodies out in the open. They like to burn ‘em, or, if they can, put a bunch in a big mass grave.” Gibbons said, his voice turning cold again. “I’m getting fed up with the League’s bullshit. Going after my family was a personal attack. Trying to use bandits to attack Darrah’s home was a personal attack. And now, Witchspotters are coming to Darkwood. I’ve heard rumours that the Arena is their base. Is there any truth to that?” Gibbons seemed pleased, almost excited, to hear that Timoteo was growing angry with the League. Somewhat eagerly, he said “No, I don’t know, yet. I was going to find out tomorrow, though, when I go to check it out. If it is, I’m going to see if I can infiltrate their numbers. A lot of high-ranking League members are going to start disappearing, after that.”
Timoteo looked off into space as he said “If it’s their base, be sure to let me know.” Gibbons slowly said “Are you considering helping me out? I’ve felt like the only Hero really fighting the League ever since I started killing off supporters and members.” Bianca looked at Timoteo curiously. He glanced at her before saying “I’m considering it. We’ve all been affected by the League, or people that appear to want to do it’s dirty work. If wiping out the League’s leadership will throw everything else into disarray, or, better yet, put an end to it, then it could be worth it. I just want to live my life in peace...If I can’t be a real Hero anymore, then I at least want to spend time with my friends and loved ones. The League won’t even let us have that.” He narrowed his eyes a little. “It’d be one thing if the League took down the Guild and let Heroes go, but they’re hunting us down, one by one. There’s only so much you can take, only so long you can go on the run and avoid conflict, before...”
“...Before you start sneaking around and slitting throats in the night.” Gibbons calmly stated. “More or less.” Timoteo replied. Bianca slowly rubbed in circles along his back. Her expression was a little worried about where the conversation had gone, but her eyes understood where the two were coming from completely. Grizelda suddenly appeared in the doorway, warmly saying “The food’s ready, you two.” Timoteo glanced over, Bianca doing the same, saying “We’re coming.” Grizelda walked off towards the den of the cottage. “We’ve got to go. Keep in touch, Gibbons.” Timoteo said. “You too, Tim. Goodbye, Bianca.” Gibbons responded. Bianca bid a soft farewell before the glow surrounding Timoteo’s Seal faded away. Timoteo dropped his Seal back into his pack, letting it sit over his pile of gold and precious stones. “You want to bring the fight to the League? To their base?” Bianca hesitantly asked. “Like I told Gibbons, I’m considering it. If it scares the Witchspotters into leaving Darkwood alone, I’m all for it.” He said, looking over at her.
She smiled a little, reaching over and holding one of his hands. She said nothing, though her eyes were considerably conflicted. Whatever she wanted to say, she either kept it to herself, or simply couldn’t find the words. He began to stand up from the bed, still holding her hand. “Come on, let’s eat.” He warmly said. Bianca nodded gently, standing up from her bed, heading over for the doorway with him.
