Note from the author: Not many changes here either, except for typos, and a little bit of description in the love scene. Sorry it took so long to put up, but I’ve been busy with other things *coughbeinglazycough*.

Rokkaku Building

"NO WAY..." Amy said in shock "I thought Sonic and Shadow destroyed you at ARK…”

"Hey, what's goin' o--" Tails said, and was turned speechless when he saw who was facing them.

"Ahh, well, you are correct, those foolish hedgehogs did manage to stop my attempt to finish the Professor's plan..." Bio hissed "However, they only managed to cause severely damage to myself, and then when they Chaos Controlled the ARK back into normal orbit, the colony's systems took some samples of my genetic code, while the rest of myself was annihilated. And so, once the systems knew you had left, they began the rebuilding process, until finally, I was made into this form you see here. The colony used your bodily structures to construct the new me... Unfortunately, the same disease that I had back then was still in me... So, it constructed a new support system... As long as I have the system functioning, I will not get my blistersss.... Afterwards, I began scanning the databases and found out about the Obsidian Star, which gave me an idea... If I could get the Emeralds and the Star, I could wish myself fully cured of the disease... Oh, and make me the most powerful being ever seen by mankind... Now, if you'll excuse me..."

"Sorry, but you're in no position to go anywhere." Amy snorted "So, looks like you're just gonna have to give up, because I have the emerald..."

The prototype chuckled at this....

"I am not so easily beaten... Have at you, insects!"

It suddenly raised its arms, and 6 pink eggs formed, and then, homed in on the trio of heroes, bowling them over and sending the emerald into the air, which it caught.

"Until we meet again." it laughed, and used the emerald to warp from the scene.

"Great, he got away..." Tails said "And with an emerald, too... That makes one for him, and none for us... And if what he said was true, if he got his wish, he'd be invincible."

"That's bad news..." Tikal said.

"Very bad.." Amy said, now holding her lover close.

"Well, I guess I'd better tell Sonic the bad news..." Tails said, taking out a comlink.

It was Dr. Eggman who answered.

"Ah, Tails, what is it you have to report?"

"The thief got away with the emerald... And the thief appears to be the Ultimate Life Prototype in a new, more anthrpomorphic form..."

"That is NOT good news. If it IS the prototype, it may still be wanting to carry out my grandfather's revenge plot... However, we did manage to get the cyan emerald, so we have one as well."

"Yeah, but the Obsidian Star would count as two in his grip... Can't be utilized until it has all 7 emeralds, though, so we have the advantage of even having one."

"Yes. I shall relay the news to Sonic and Rouge. Eggman out."

The comlink was shut off.

"So, now what?" Amy asked.

"We go back to Station Square." Tails replied "By the way his pattern works, he won't be out and about until at least tomorrow."

"Alright then." Amy said "Let's go."

"Yes." Tikal replied, and the trio went back to Station Square.

--Unknown Location--

The prototype appeared in a flash of light, the emerald in its grasp. This was its secret headquarters...

"Ah, one emerald down, six to go... Hmm, let's see now." it said "One emerald from Rokkaku Industries... Now, the next emerald is in a laboratory near Station Square..."

It sat at the computer and hacked into the lab's database, only to discover that the emerald was now in possession of the opposition.

"Shit. One is mine, one is theirs... No matter, I shall get the cyan emerald from them someday... Nothing will stop me from achieving my goal. Nothing..."

With that, it got itself a glass of water, and drank, and then, went off to bed, planning its next plan of action.

--Amy's Apartment--

Tails dropped the two off, gave a wave, and then was on his way back to his workshop.

"Wow, what a day..." Tikal said "A little bit of adventure, a little bit of fun... Too bad I waasn't able to return the favor, with Tails coming along and all. So, what do we do now? I'm kinda hungry..."

"Me too." Amy replied "I know of something I can make. It's REALLY good."

"Mmmm, I can't wait."

"And afterwards, we can have a little dessert..." Amy purred.

Tikal smiled, as Amy went to get the stuff to make the meal.

--45 minutes later--

"Wow, that was good, AND fast!" Tikal said happily "What is this stuff called again?"

"Tuna casserole." Amy replied.

"Well, this tuna casserole is extremely good..."

"Yeah, it's something Tails taught me to make. He's not only a technical wizard, he's also a pretty good cook."

"That's wonderful. So, now what do you want to do, my love?"

"This." Amy said walking up to Tikal and planting a kiss on her lips.

"Mmmm...." was all Tikal could say before Amy picked her up and headed off to the couch.

With that, they sat down and resumed their kissing, tongues probing and feeling and fighting... Amy began to caress her lover's body, making her moan in excitement as they kissed. Amy tugged at Tikal's shirt, and she quickly raised her arms so Amy could take the shirt off. Amy smiled, and began to nibble on her lover's neck... Tikal shivered and whimpered in joy.

Amy also began to tend to Tikal's shoulders in the same manner, while caressing her sides. Amy purred and reached for Tikal's zipper, and quickly pulled it down, and soon off came Tikal's pants and panties. Amy smiled at her exposed love, and began to stroke Tikal. This was enough to drive Tikal even wilder, and it wasn’t long until she came…

"That was... Amazing." Amy said with a sigh, embracing her lover as she did the same, and quickly fell asleep in each other's arms.

--3 days later---

3 days had passed by, the Biolizard not making any appearances as of yet... Amy and Tikal sat with Sonic as they kept watch over the cyan and red emeralds. Knuckles had found the red one on his island in Red Mountain the day before.

Suddenly, there was a call from Dr. Eggman...

"The prototype..." he gasped "It came... and took the blue emerald... Eggs, everywhere..."

"DARN IT!" Sonic yelled in frustratuion... now the Biolizard had 2 emeralds. That made it 2- 2... They had to find the other 3 before it could get to them...

Somewhere...

A lone figure held the gray emerald in its hand... The figure was totally enshrouded in darkness... It had just caught ahold of Eggman's transmission by reasons unknown.

"Looks like it is time for me to intervene." the figure said, "I must stop the prototype, but I will need their help..."

With that, the figure dashed into the distance... He had to get to Station Square immediately.
