Welcome, compadres…
To chapter 4.
I’ve been waiting
for AFF to get through the process or un-elimination to post this up. I doubt I have many viewers now, as at least
half took off in annoyance and frustration, but I can hope and assume they’ll
be back soon. For now, I’ll post this up
for the few people who read, TO read.
And hopefully, give me reviews, give me ratings, give me something to go
on. Because life is stressful as hell,
and if I’m putting hours of work into this story for people who will read it
once or twice and then give me maybe a minute of their time to just say “good
job,” or “you suck,” then I have no desire to go through the minute long
process of submitting this, I’ll just save this for me and my friends and
that’s it. Fair’s fair.
That bitter talk
aside, I was re-inspired to continue this story from the few Zelda fanfics on
AFF at the current moment. To the
authors of those six stories other than mine:

Other inspiration,
provided by: Frou Frou, The Gorillaz,
Halo 2, Eminem, Tool, older brothers Seth and Greg, best friend Ileah, and my
own music creation that, after listening to it, gave me back the creativity I
put into it. Music, the energy generator
of the mind.
Further
inspiration: Valhalla
Knights, by “Jerry.” So…thank you,
“Jerry.”
It’s a good flash movie, too. If you want to see what I’m talking about,
just go to Newgrounds.com, go to the Flash Portal, and look down the list of
the Top 50, located on the far right side.
It should be around 30 or 40 or so.
Something…riveting about it.
Also, I had a
question as to whether or not Graide is the next Link. Actually, he’s not. Link shall make an appearance in this rather
soon, and will play a vital role.
Here, we, go!

Chapter 4: Deathsabre
As they approached
the small town, it soon turned out Graide’s prophetic dreams, were,
horrifyingly enough, smack-dab on the money.
The buildings they could see that hadn’t been demolished were all
pillars of flame, and most were starting to come down. Around the town rode what appeared to be humanoid
beings, except a shadowy, strangely-fluid like substance made up their
skin. They had no visible eyes, or any
distinguishable features. A woman,
cradling a newborn baby, crouched in the shadows, then as one of the things on
the horses, who seemed to be made of the same material as their riders, rode
past, she made a run for it. Suddenly,
the creature did a full 180 degree turnaround on the spot. A hand grabbed what looked like a bow of some
kind, and fired a black arrow, glowing with an evil energy into her back, and
with cold, pinpoint precision, into the baby she carried as well. With a pair of screams, they both fell, then
stopped their screams. Their bodies
burnt away, leaving nothing but their skeletons…then the black energy on the
arrow spread over their bodies, the arrow being covered in the material. After a moment, both the former woman and her
child rose, a bow of the same exact material appearing in their hands. They then shambled off into the shadows.
Zelda froze, horror
in her eyes. Graide clenched his teeth
against the wave of fear and anger that had washed over him. He turned.
“Come on…” he said,
taking her hand and giving it a faint tug.
It seemed to snap her out of it.
She suddenly took on a look of determination.
“Yeah…” was all she
said, her voice strained. Graide
hesitated, then moved forwards slowly.
They reached once had been the guardhouse, then halted as Graide looked
around slowly.
“We need to be able
to get around these things…get deeper into the town, see if I can even figure
out where this temple is…” he murmured.
Zelda nodded, glancing at him with her sapphire-blue eyes.
“…You do realize
this is absolutely crazy, right?” she asked softly, smiling for the first time
since they had approached the town.
Graide frowned at her.
“Who was the one who
was ready to just march up to these things without any weapons just about ten
minutes ago?” he asked, smiling slightly nonetheless. She shrugged, unabashed.
“I know…but this is
impossible…you saw what…what happened to that woman…” she said, her voice
trailing off as she looked at the place on the ground the woman had
fallen. Graide said nothing, just
following her gaze.
“I know…but one way
or another…we have to get into this temple…” he whispered. “I just know that if we can get to it…we’ll
know what to do to help these people…”
Zelda just nodded. There was a brief pause, both of them drawing
blanks on what to do next. Zelda took
the initiative, however. She looked down
the road, at the burnt-out buildings that lined the sides of the streets. For now, there were none of the strange
shadowy creatures in sight.
“If we run…we might
be able to duck into one of those alleys…”
Graide nodded, took a short breath, then literally picked
Zelda up, slung her over her back as she eep’d in surprise, and sprinted full
speed for the nearest alley. In his
peripheral vision, down another street that connected into this one and ran
perpendicular into the town came one of the creatures, slowly, not on a
horse. Quickly, he threw himself into
the shadows, slamming a hand over Zelda’s mouth as her eyes widened, silencing
her squeak of jolted surprise. Her eyes
were wide as she glanced at him, then followed his gaze as he watched the
creature pause, then slowly shamble in their direction. It could have been an older man, from the
walk and posture. It was an eerie sight
to behold, the 3pm sun splashing over
the scene of devastation. The creature
cast no shadow. It hobbled closer,
closer…then moved off in the direction of the guardhouse. Graide repressed the urge to breathe a sigh
of relief. He dropped his hand from
Zelda’s mouth. She took in a deep
breath. Graide didn’t realize he’d had
his hand over her nose as well, blocking her ability to breath. Slowly, she took steadying gasps of breath.
“You didn’t have to
suffocate me…” she said reproachfully.
Graide sighed, leaning his head back against the charred stone wall
behind him.
“Sorry. I just didn’t want that…thing to notice us.”
She nodded in
agreement.
“That…was chilling…”
she murmured. Graide nodded in
agreement. After a moment, he
stood. “Come on…we gotta keep moving…”
Zelda looked up at
him, then stood slowly, the skirt part of her dress rustling softly on the
ground.
“How do we find this
temple, though…?”
Graide
hesitated. Zelda was about ready to
smack him, until he spoke.
“The street that
creature came from…we have to go in that direction,” he said, sounding
distracted. His eyes were focused on
that street. Zelda tilted her head.
“What is it?”
He shook his head.
“I have this
feeling…something bad is going to happen…and I have a damn good feeling it’s
going to have something to do with these creatures,” he muttered, shaking his
head. “Goddesses be damning, I hate
this…” he said, starting to sound frustrated.
Zelda watched him
quietly, then brushed her hand down his arm.
He stopped and glanced at her.
Slowly, she stood on tiptoes and pressed her lips to his. The movement startled him, but he didn’t pull
back. She pulled back after a moment.
“Come on, Graide, be
my hero,” she said, smiling at him.
Graide chuckled,
nodding. “When you put it like that…” he
said, glancing off down the street.
“Alright…let’s do this…” he said.
Zelda sidestepped as he reached for her.
“Uh-uh. I can run by myself, thanks…” she said, eying
him but smiling still nevertheless.
Graide shrugged.
“Suit yourself…” he
said. “And I thought women LIKED to be
carried…” he said, chuckling, taking her hand as she rolled her eyes at
him. Their gazes focused on the street,
both looking to make sure none of the creatures were in sight, then they both
took off at a run down the street. They
couldn’t have timed it better. Just as
Zelda’s skirt whipped past one of the buildings, the creature came hobbling
back, moving to the alley they had been hiding in just a moment ago and looking
around slowly.
They caught a
glimpse of another of the creatures, this one on horseback…or what might have
been a horse before it had been transformed…or maybe these were the originating
creatures? Neither of them knew.
Zelda panted
heavily, not used to having to run such great distances at such speed, but
Graide was hardly even breathing. He
turned to glance at her.
“Going to make it a
few more times?”
Zelda nodded,
panting. “Y…yes…”
Graide hesitated,
then shook his head, glancing around the corner. He paused.
“Zelda…”
She looked up at
him. “What?”
He turned back, his
gaze locking with hers.
“The temple…it’s
right down the street,” he said, chuckling.
Zelda breathed a
sigh of relief.
“So let’s go.”
“We can’t.”
“…Why not?”
He pointed down the
street, or in its direction.
“There’s about fifty
of them standing guard around it,” he replied, face now ashen.
Zelda sighed
miserably and slumped back against the wall, still breathing a bit heavier than
usual, but for the most part, she’d gotten her wind back.
“Great…” she
breathed unhappily. She hesitated, then
looked at him. He looked back at her,
and both agreed silently with one another; they had to get into that temple…no
two ways about it…even if it meant that one of them was going to take an
arrow…or maybe both. But there was no
backing out now, and they couldn’t remain here.
With the entire temple surrounded by the creatures, there was only one
option left; distractions.
“I’ll be the decoy,”
Zelda immediately said. Graide shook his
head.
“No, I’m faster-“
“This is from YOUR
dream, Graide…not mine…” she said, putting her hand on his cheek. He sighed, placing his hand over hers,
holding it gently.
“Zelda…”
“Don’t worry…I know
you’ll fulfill this…I’m not scared…because I know that if I’m changed…it won’t
be for long…because I know you’re destined to become something greater than you
are right now…and to me…you’re already a hero,” she said, smiling softly. Graide looked deeply into her eyes, then
wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply. Zelda closed her eyes, moving her arms around
him, pressing her lips against his and parting them. They stood for a moment like this, until
Graide pulled back. Zelda smiled, then
moved out into the street. Graide almost
pulled her back into the alley, but she darted off. Graide took a sharp breath, closed his eyes,
and steeled himself.
“Zelda…be careful…”
he whispered.
After a moment, he
heard the shriek of the strange creatures, and a mass clatter of shadowy hooves
as they took off after Zelda. He looked
around the corner, as the last of the creatures disappeared down several
different streets. He sighed.
“Please…be careful…”
he said, clenching a fist. It should
have been him, dammit…but no time to dwell on that now. Disregarding distance and danger, he sprinted
full speed towards the temple, gritting his teeth. He almost stopped when he heard a familiar
shriek…the same shriek he’d heard before he’d saved her from the Redead…but
this time, the only way to save her…was to ignore her. He repressed his sorrow…he had to do this…for
her. Suddenly, he heard the whistling of
something…stopped and lowered his head, to see an arrow fly ahead of him. He whirled.
Two of the creatures were sprinted towards him, another about to fire.
He cursed his
misfortune, praising it at the same time for the arrow’s miss, then began to
duck, weave, and sprint towards the temple.
Several more arrows followed, but missed. He kept himself impossible to track,
practically flying up the steps, almost slipping and falling twice. He raced into the marble structure’s yawning
entranceway…and a door slammed shut behind him.
He whirled, staring at the heavy marble door that blocked him from the
rest of the world outside. He swallowed
the knot of panic building in his throat, steeling himself as he turned…and
what was there caught him off guard.
A hole in the
ceiling shone the sunlight from above into the structure. The temple was a single, enormous room of
polished white marble. Spiraling columns
surrounded the center of the temple…and in the middle of the room, was a giant
cloud of the black substance that had taken over the entire village. Long appendages swirled towards him,
surrounding him and cutting off any possibly hope for escape. He sighed sadly, closing his eyes. This was it…all this had happened…for it to
end like this. His eyes snapped open.
No.
It wasn’t ending.
Not like this.
He growled, then,
threw himself into the part of the dark substance that was thinnest. However, it was made of a strangely solid
sort of fluid, and he rebounded off it, blinking. Then, growling, he launched himself at the
shadowy substance enveloping, punching and kicking at it and struggling to
manage to open a passage in it. It
continued to close in. But he continued
to fight it, even as it wrapped itself over his hands, feet, and mouth. He struggled wildly, unable to breathe but
fighting. If he had to die or be
changed, he’d go fighting…and then suddenly, a pair of eyes, bright, solid
white emerged from the shadowy substance to look at him. A soft, feminine giggle filled the air around
him, and the part of the substance covering his mouth withdrew, though the end
of it stroked over his lips.
“Mmm…you taste
nice,” came a soft, fluid voice, sounding like that of a young woman’s. Graide blinked, his struggles ceasing as he
looked back into the eyes.
“What in the name of
hellfire are you?” he demanded, a frown shaping on his face.
A fake-affronted
gasp left where the voice originated.
“You aren’t supposed
to ask a lady WHAT she is, you’re supposed to ask WHO she is…” came the voice
again, but a giggle followed after it.
Slowly, the shadowy substance pulled away from him…and reformed slowly
into the figure of a woman. Unlike the
other creatures of this variant, however, it had all the distinguishable
characteristics of a human…except, it was still the shadowy substance that made
her up, yet she seemed far more solid than the others did. Only her eyes weren’t black. Instead, now, they had taken on rose-red human-like
eyes. The only thing unusual about them
was they lacked pupils. Her face had a
rather angular beauty to it, with full black lips that shone a little. Her eyebrows, or what seemed to look like
them, were thin. Her ‘hair,’ if that’s
what it was, reached down to her shoulders.
She had a slender body, though it had a very voluptuous quality to
it. She was about five and a half feet
tall, and seemed to be covered in clothing that was the same exact material she
herself was made of. She smiled.
“Do you approve?”
she asked in a crystalline voice.
Enigma was unwilling
to relax. “Do I approve? No, I do not approve! I don’t approve of the town outside, burning
and filled with your creations! I don’t
approve of the fact my friend has been turned into one of them! I don’t approve of any of this!”
The woman’s smile
vanished…replaced now with a look of apologetic sadness.
“I am sorry…but you
must realize…I have been locked away for hundreds of years…the hunger you
mortals feel after not eating for weeks…I feel it…and it multiplies for every
day I go without feeding…I’ve been sealed for so long…” she said sadly.
Graide glared at
her. “I can see why!” he snarled. “Because you go and destroy anyone and everyone
near you!”
The woman lowered
her head. “I wasn’t sealed for that
reason…” she said softly, then looked up at him. There was something in her eyes…a mix of
emotions, actually. Misery, hunger,
loneliness…lust. She turned and moved
towards a marble cube that he hadn’t seen before, since she had been concealing
it. She swayed her hips as she did, and
Graide began to realize what she was doing.
She was trying to tempt him. He
frowned, then realized maybe if he played her game, he could destroy her.
“Trust me,
Graide….you can’t destroy me,” she said softly.
Graide jerked in surprise and she flashed a coy smirk back at him.
“Oh, sorry…I like to
read people’s thoughts…” she said quietly, moving to the cube. She slid up onto it, sitting on it in a
somewhat suggestive posture. “This was
my cell…for fifteen hundred years,” she said, looking down at the marble
box. She crooked a finger at Graide, who
frowned, but stepped closer to it. When
he was close enough, she pointed at the top.
He looked it over. It had been
removed. Inside, was a hole that was
about ten feet deep. It looked just
large enough to fit a human inside. He
looked up at her.
“...Ok,
so…what? You were trapped in here? That’s terrific, but it doesn’t solve the
problem of a devoured village out there,” he said, trying to suppress his
anger. The woman sighed, then looked at
him. Her eyes were now filled with
sorrow and a loneliness so it intense that it could practically taste it
radiating from her.
“I…will free the
people…but…stay with me for just a few moments…please…” she said softly.
Graide blinked,
taken aback by this sudden relenting of her control over the townsfolk…and more
importantly, Zelda, but happy to do whatever was necessary to make her keep her
word, hoping that she wasn’t lying. He
nodded faintly.
“Very well…”
The woman smiled
faintly for a moment, then sighed and lay back over the cube, the part that
wasn’t opened. Her arms stretched up,
hands turning and fingers gripping the sides of the cube, eyes looking to him.
“Ok…first thing’s
first…my name is Shade. It was my name
in life, and it’s my name in my second life,” she said, watching him. He paused a moment, raising his eyebrows.
“…Weird,” he said
with a small chuckle. Shade nodded.
“Yes, I know. See…for a long time I was a loner…kept to
myself. Men scared me…the concept of
sexual contact scared me, and that was what they were always after. But then…I met a man…” She continued.
“I fell in love with
him…and I thought he had loved me, too.
He had this sword, this magnificent blade…It swirled with the same
energy you see on me, now,” she said, looking down at herself for a second.
“This may seem
unrelated, this sword…but trust me…it means everything. You see…I believed he loved me…I really did…”
she said softly, her eyes filling with sadness.
“…I thought the first time we made love…was actually going to be us
making love…but it was so rough…it hurt, and despite my cries of pain, he kept
going and going…finally, he finished with me, and fell asleep while I cried
myself to sleep…
“The next day, he
woke me up roughly, and dragged me, half naked, to this place…there was nothing
here then, just a long stretch of grassy plains. He showed me his sword…told me the story of
it. It was a blade of legends. It carried certain magic, could kill anyone
by just nicking them lightly, or if whoever wasn’t the rightful owner touched
it, they would burn…”
Her eyes were
distant now, as if she was recalling everything as if it were yesterday.
“Then…he used it on
me…told me that for all the time he spent seducing me, I wasn’t as good a fuck
as he thought I would be,” she said softly, closing her eyes. A black liquid rolled out of her eyes. Tears.
Or what must be the equivalent.
Graide paused for a moment, then moved closer to her. One hand placed itself on her shoulder
closest to the edge of the cube. It
felt…like nothing unusual, instead it felt like she was nothing but just a
living, breathing human woman. Shade did
not respond to this, her eyes shut now.
“He wasn’t content
with killing me, though…instead, he cursed me…forced the blade and me to become
one, thus turning me into…this…” she said, gesturing halfheartedly at herself,
eyes half opening. She still did not
look at him, instead focused on the light from outside that shone into the room
from the hole in the ceiling.
“The only way to
reverse the curse…is to destroy the evil that pervaded his heart and mind…by
destroying him in entirety, with the blade.”
Graide nodded
slowly.
“And he’s long gone
now.”
“Yes…I’m trapped
like this now…forever…” she said, her eyes shutting tight, more of the tears
flowing from her eyes.
Graide frowned as he
watched her body tremble slightly under his touch, arms moving to hug herself
slightly.
“What was his name?”
he asked softly. The response, however,
was not what he expected.
“…Ganondorf.”
Graide felt a chill
go through him. He’d heard some legends
throughout his life of the man of pure evil, who had destroyed entire kingdoms
for his own cruel intent. Suddenly,
through his mind, flashed images of the woman from his dreams, with the hair of
fiery red, as a man with dark skin and dark eyes cruelly abused her.
“…What did he look
like?” he asked, his voice suddenly hollow.
“…He…had olive-colored
skin, dark reddish-purple eyes…he was a little taller than you…dark red hair…”
she murmured. Her eyes opened
suddenly. They shone a little in the
light from her tears, but startled realization had filled them now.
“…You know who he
is…”
Graide nodded.
“…And he’s still
alive.”
Again, another nod.
“And you’re hunting
him.”
Yet again, a nod.
A soft smile
appeared on her lips.
“For a woman you
know nothing of.”
A nod, with a small
smile.
“Yes,” he replied.
Shade watched him
silently for a moment. Then, her hand
lifted to place itself on his cheek. He
blinked, but didn’t pull away.
“…Why couldn’t it
have been me…” she whispered softly.
Graide didn’t know
how to reply.
“Your future holds
many mysteries…” she whispered. “But
certainty amongst these riddles is that you will meet her when she needs you
most…and you will save her…” she said, looking into his eyes.
“…She’ll be a very
lucky woman…” she added with a sad smile.
Her eyes closed for a moment.
“…I’ve begun to release
the people I have taken…” she said.
“There’ll be no harm done to them…”
Graide nodded,
trying to smile. He couldn’t. The woman’s story saddened him too much. Now he realized why she had wanted him to
stay, just to talk to…she’d been locked away for hundreds of years, after her
heart had been broken as cruelly as her virginity had been taken.
Shade looked up at
him.
“The woman who came
with you…she’s a very lucky woman…” she said sadly.
Graide couldn’t
really respond. All he could do was nod
faintly.
Shade sat up slowly,
leaning her head forwards a bit to him, her hand stroking his cheek again
slowly. Graide had a feeling he knew
where this was leading…but decided maybe it wasn’t a bad thing.
“Graide…” she
whispered faintly.
He paused for a
second before responding.
“Yes?”
She leaned in a bit
more, her lips almost touching his.
“…Please…show
me…what you showed her…show me endless bliss…” she whispered softly. He could actually feel her breath against his
lips. His eyes looked into hers. She was beautiful….beautiful and
tormented. For just listening to her,
she had released the town…or so she said…but as he listened, he heard the yells
of surprise from those outside through the hole in the ceiling. She, apparently, was really not an evil being. She tilted her head to the side, moving
forward, her lips brushing against his.
“Show me what it’s
like…to make love to someone…not self-indulging sexual contact…” she said.
A pause…
“…Please…”
Graide
hesitated…then nodded.
“I will…” he
said. Slowly, his hands went to her
face. Her eyes shut as she drew in a
deep breath, a small smile growing on her lips.
Graide moved in the final fraction of an inch, and pressed his lips
against hers tightly. Shade took in a
sharp breath through her nose, eyes shutting entirely as both arms wrapped
around him desperately. His body pressed
against hers. She was still sitting over
the edge of what had once been her prison.
Her legs wrapped around his waist as one arm went around behind her,
pushing her into him a bit further.
Shade’s eyes rolled
back in her head as she felt his tongue enter her mouth. She slid her own forward, tips meeting before
they began to slide over one another, rolling against each other’s. Her hands went to his shoulders. His actions weren’t lustful…they were
tender…loving…just what she had always wanted to feel and had been cheated out
of it.
Slowly, one hand
reached around in front of her, sliding over her shoulders and then down,
gently taking one of her breasts in his hand…strangely, it felt like there was
some sort of fluid-like fabric over it.
One of her hands followed his, but moved it aside for a moment. She pulled back from him with a soft breath
of content. Slowly, her hands went to
her torso, sliding her fingers over her front, apparently undoing laces that
had held her clothing in place before she had been transformed, and had somehow
been carried with her into the next phase of her existence. Slowly, a sheet of the black material that
made her up slid down off her body, from shoulders to her legs. She kicked it aside, and NOW
she seemed well and truly bare. Her body
was certainly pleasing to the eye, curvaceous and slender, with plenty to hold
on to. She tilted her head, giving him a
coy smile.
“Now…let me ask
again…do you approve?” she asked softly, giggling.
Graide nodded slowly,
his eyes roving over her bare body.
“…Yes…” he replied softly. His
hands moved to her breasts again, taking them gently in his hands and kneading
into the soft….flesh couldn’t quite be the right term…or maybe it could. She didn’t FEEL any different. She didn’t taste any different. The only difference was how she looked…like a
black liquid that took form. She blew
out a soft sigh, arching her back a bit, eyes wide open and looking deeply into
his, almost pleading with him. Slowly,
he moved his hands to his tunic top, undoing it and pulling it from him. Her eyes, still wide as before, looked him
over, eyebrows lifting. He chuckled a
little as he undid his slacks.
“Now, do YOU
approve?”
“…You’re beautiful,”
she whispered in reply, her hands pressing against his chest and feeling down
him along the rolling contours of the muscles.
Graide chuckled
again, kicking away his slacks and the undershorts he wore. He heard a little gasp and looked up. Shade had a hand over her mouth, her eyes
fixated on his length.
“Uh….uh uh…uh….um…”
she stammered. Graide laughed softly.
“I know, I
know…biggest you’ve seen, right?”
She gave a faint
nod.
“Ok…well…I…um…”
Graide smiled, moving up to her, wrapping his
arms around her slowly and kissing her deeply for a moment.
“Don’t worry…I’ll be
gentle.”
She practically
melted in his arms at this, her breasts squished against his chest. Her legs rewrapped around him, and he took
his length, slowly pressing it against her, then into her. She felt her gasp, pulling back from
him. Slowly, she moved her head to his
shoulder, turning so her face was buried into his neck, arms holding onto him
tightly.
“Please…be gentle…it
hurts…” she whimpered.
Slowly, he, stroked
his hands along her bare back.
“I promise, I will
be…” he whispered, pushing into her slowly, letting her get used to him. She wasn’t as tight as Zelda had been, but
she was still a bit of a squeeze anyways.
As he pushed deeper into her, she whimpered softly, hands twitching
slightly as they gripped his shoulders and into his back, her nails
occasionally digging into him, though she stopped each time as she realized she
was doing it. Finally, he was all the
way in her, their hips pressed against one another’s. She took slow, steadying breaths that he
could feel against his neck. After a
moment, he felt her soft tongue lick at his neck, then she nodded.
“I…I’m ready…” she
said faintly.
Graide nodded, still
holding her tightly as he slowly pulled back from her. She repressed a moan, though he could still
hear it try to get loose from her throat, her body shivering slightly. Her tongue ran over his neck some more as he
pushed back in, taking in a long, shuddering breath himself, shutting his eyes,
licking at her ear. Shade whimpered,
clutching to him, her hot breath sliding over his neck.
Slowly, after he
finished pushing into her again, he pressed forwards against her with his body,
slowly pushing her down onto the cube’s edge.
Her head leaned back, arms going around his neck as her legs tightened
around his waist. He began to pump,
slowly at first, beginning to relish her soft feminine whimpers and moans, as
her hips started to slowly move with his, her mouth open and sucking in breaths
rapidly, eyes shut tight. Shade tilted
her head to the side, eyes shuddering and closing as his tongue ran along the
side of her neck, before his lips pressed against hers deeply. She managed to steady her body enough to kiss
him back, breaking it after a few moments to take a quick gasp of air, her
nails slowly dragging over his back.
Graide grunted as he quickened his pace.
Shade was in a state
of ecstasy. She knew this wouldn’t last
for eternity, as she had always wanted love to be, but just to feel it once for
a short time was better than having never felt it at all. And there was something about
Graide…something that made it so even though this was practically just a fling,
he made it feel like this was the first night after being married to her. Suddenly, she let out a loud gasp. There was a pressure building inside her,
something beyond his cock filling her inner folds. Suddenly, the room felt as hot as the inside
of a volcano. A wave of pleasure began
to wash over her and she shut her eyes tight, mouth opening and taking in a
sharp breath. A cascade of euphoria
swept through her mind, overtaking all of her senses as she felt Graide
shuddering against her. Suddenly, his
hand clamped over her mouth as she began to take in a breath.
“Don’t….breathe…hold
it in…” he managed to gasp out. She
obeyed his order, as the euphoric head rush suddenly overtook all ability to
think. Her back arched upwards into him,
squishing her breasts against his chest as his cock repeatedly pounded back and
forth into her. There was no up, down,
back, forward, left, right, or center…the world was just a chaotic rush of
ecstasy. She finally came down off her
orgasm-induced high, just in time to feel his cock pull out of her. She knew what was about to happen and sat up
suddenly, normal reservations tossed to the winds in the heat of the moment as
she slid off the cube and grabbed his hips and wrapped her lips around his
cock, tasting herself and not caring as her tongue lashed against his massive
cock, her jaw aching a bit from having to stretch to accommodate him. He seemed to not notice her teeth pressing
into him as she sucked with loud slurping noises against him, trying to work his
cum from him.
His groans began to turn
into desperate moans of passion, his hands pressing against the edges of the
marble cube as he leaned against it, gasping for breath just as his orgasm
smacked into him with all the force of a ton of bricks. He heard Shade choking and gagging around his
cock as his cum flooded her mouth and, finding that her lips were too tight
around him to let out enough, although a small amount managed to get out that
way, began flooding into her throat.
Quickly, she reacted to accommodate this, throat muscles working
furiously to swallow his entire load, though more of his cum seeped out and
coated her lips, her entire chin, and some began to drip off her chin and
splatter over her perfectly-shaped and sized tits, most of it over the tops but
some over her nipples as well, contrasting with her black fluid form strangely
well.
Finally, after what
seemed like forever, the explosions of cum stopped and after a few more moments
of sucking what remained from him and cleaning off his cock with her tongue,
she pulled back, gasping, lips and chin completely covered in his cum, licking
over her lips and even her chin and swallowing every bit she could, looking up
at him and smiling as he grinned and managed to sit next to her, leaning back
against the marble cube.
“God…I’ve never felt
that before,” he managed to gasp out, unable to catch his breath.
Shade smiled.
“Me neither, I
didn’t even really plan on doing that in the beginning, but then I just, well,
did it.”
Graide laughed,
nodding.
“You were amazing.”
Shade blushed,
somehow.
“Thank you…you were
no 3-second-session, either,” she replied, laughing.
Graide smirked,
draping an arm around her and hugging her as she cleaned herself off with
nothing but her hands. However, it
seemed to work as well as any cloth.
They were both silent for a minute or so, both trying to catch their
breath. After this time elapsed, Shade
reached over for his clothes, taking them and hand them to him, smiling. Graide chuckled, accepting them with a smile
and standing slowly, pulling his clothing on.
Shade stood and did likewise, taking the sheets of the material that
seemed to make her up and pulling it on.
It was hard to see the difference in some instances.
As Graide pulled on
his gauntlets, he heard a soft, whispery sound, like the faint noise of metal
sliding over fabric. He turned in time
to see Shade seemingly pulling a blade from her hand. When it was out of her hand, it was a little
over four feet in length. It was curved,
slightly, with a flat, razor-sharp, top edge rather than a point like most
swords, and both sides of the sword were sharp as well. It looked like a cross between a saber, and a
katana. The hilt was solid black leather. The blade itself seemed to be made of a
mixture of whatever it was that made Shade up, and steel. Set just under the blade, in the hilt, was a
small gem, about two and a half inches in diameter. It was semi-transparent and glittered, like
crystal, but strange, wispy puffs of white energy seemed to flow around inside
its glassy confines. She smiled as she
offered it to him. Graide blinked.
“…This…”
She nodded. “Yes.
This is the sword that Ganondorf forced into me, and cursed me with,”
she said quietly.
Graide was hesitant
to touch it.
“Don’t worry,” she
said softly. “You’re safe from it…”
Graide looked at
her. “How do you know?”
“Because…” she
began, then shook her head. “Because, I
just…know.”
Graide, of course,
was not convinced.
Shade sighed. “Ok…let me tell you something about it,
first…maybe this will ease your unease.
It’s name is Deathsabre…it was forged several millennia ago by a
creation of the goddesses, the creature who takes us all into our
afterlife…some people call him Death, or they mistakenly call him ‘Lady Death,’
although he IS a male…in any case, this was a weapon he gave to a young man, in
the years of chaos that pervaded all the lands before any order ever prevailed. This man was the one who brought order to all
the lands, because Death had chosen him to be the one who decided what was to
be done with the world. Of course, the
young man wasn’t perfect…but we’d be in much darker times were it not for him,”
she said, lowering the blade and looking at it.
“How do you know
this?” Graide asked, an eyebrow raised.
Shade smiled a
little. “The man left his spirit in this
blade when he died. When it’s been
forced to become a part of you, you can’t help but talk to a spirit within a
sword that is within you,” she said.
Graide nodded. That made some sense, he supposed. Shade continued.
“The only way it can
kill you, is if you are touched by it while it is wielded by someone who WISHES
death or harm on you,” she said, raising the blade to him again. Graide looked at the Deathsabre for a moment.
“…You want me to
trust you, then.”
Shade was silent for
a moment.
“We just made
love. However temporary it may have
been…did you not trust me as we had our dance?” she asked quietly, looking at
him with her pupil-less, red eyes.
Graide looked back at her. He’d
heard the shouts of surprise and glee from those outside. She had held to her word. This was destiny, anyway…his dreams had shown
him how to get here so far…had shown him this sword. It was already his…he just had to take it.
“…I still do,” he
replied, closing his hand over the hilt, and her hand on it. She smiled softly, then released the blade,
allowing him to take it. He closed his
eyes as he raised it to eye level. It
was amazingly light…and it almost seemed…attached to him, familiar, as if he
had, in the past, wielded it before. As
if he had known this blade all his life.
He expertly twirled it around his wrist and then through his fingers,
spun it around both hands and flicked it through the air, letting it spin so
fast it was a blur, catching it easily by the hilt and bringing it up into a
salutary position in front of his face before lowering it and looking at
it. Shade smiled as she watched him.
“It…seems
so…familiar…” he muttered. Shade nodded
in reply.
“It should. After all…it chose you,” she said softly.
Graide looked up at
her.
“The spirit…told you
about me?” he asked. Realization was
clicking into place.
Shade nodded.
“In a way, yes. All I knew is that there would be a man whom
I would know to give the Deathsabre to…” she said, then smirked vicariously at
him. “Never knew just how gorgeous you
were, though,” she said coyly. Graide
just chuckled in response.
“I…take it there’s
no sheath?” he asked, looking up at her.
Shade shook her head in reply.
“None. You’ll need to have one fashioned specially
for it,” she replied with an apologetic shrug.
“As far as I know, there never actually was one…the man who impaled me
with it never had one on him, from what I can recall.”
Graide chewed on his
lower lip and shrugged.
“Ah, no matter, I
can probably find a blacksmith to make one around here…”
She nodded. Graide frowned suddenly.
“Wait…how did you
free yourself from your prison? You
never really told me about that.” Shade
thought a moment.
“I’m…not sure,
exactly. I remember just the endless
darkness…but the beginning of the end of the darkness came with a brilliant
blue light, followed by an equally bright green light. Then, the seal on my cell fell away…I climbed
out, starving, and just did what suddenly seemed natural.”
There was a pause. Shade looked at him.
Graide frowned.
“What are you to do,
now?”
“I do not know…my
method of feeding is to envelope the bodies of those I capture and drain them
of their souls and physical matter…”
“Then come with us.”
“I couldn’t…not with
such nature as I have now.”
“It could come in
handy. Nothing quite like having a small
army of bad guys turned into decomposing soldiers,” he said with a grin.
Shade smiled.
“…Brains to match
the looks. I love it,” she said
cheekily. “Alright…but first, you should
go and find the girl called Zelda and explain it, it might be best I am not
seen as you do,” she said. Graide
nodded.
“Makes sense. Wait here, alright? I’ll be back in a bit.”
“I will,” she said,
watching as Graide turned and hurried off, carrying the deathsabre in his right
hand. The giant marble slab blocking the
entrance had been opened after she had freed the townspeople. She smiled.
She knew that he knew that what she was talking about was that she had
been freed by the will of the goddesses.
Everything happened for a reason.
Destiny made it so. And while she
knew he was destined for someone else…she knew she would never forget this day.

Whoo! Finally, done
with this chapter! My hands hurt, I
assure you.
Now, since you’ve finished reading this chapter, I assume,
if you’re a fan of Starfox, go check out my story A Forgotten People in the
Starfox Adventures section.
They ought to just combine them into one single section,
considering it’s become a series now.
If you’re a Teen Titans fan, there’s my story Black and
White in that section, and I am also working on a Cowboy Bebop story, and a
Tomb Raider story.
With all these stories, do you see why my updates are a bit
sluggish? Heh…
Next chapter’s ETA: Next week.
That’s my goal, and I’m stickin’ to it!
See y’all soon.
