As expected, the next day after all the rain had gone, Mist's word had of course spread around. So when Anette came with the mail, she was all but stuffing it into the box with her foot. Raguna had saved her the trouble, thanking her and taking the many envelopes. Kross had watched the other wearily as he sat back down on the bed, flipping open the first and reading it to the other.

Word has always spread quickly in small towns like this, but do not take it as a bad thing. Mist was kind enough to leave out anything inappropriate I'm sure, but I do hope you will be working on that bouquet soon. After all, settling down is another part of village life, and Rita is all but planning your wedding as we speak. I believe it would be best if you spoke to her yourself, you know how she can be, I wish you both best of luck and hope to see you at the church again soon.

Kross's cheeks were pink after the letter, but it wasn't nearly as bad as he had thought it would be. Raguna was already opening the next, intent on getting through them all, luckily there wasn't much other then well wishes and questions about whether there would be a ceremony any time soon. Raguna had gotten to work on replies, with Kross's help of course, it was easier then having to face everyone so soon. The day was spent replying to letters and contemplating whether there would be a ceremony.
"I think we should take it a bit slower, see how things go." Raguna finally said, "After all the misunderstandings, it might be for the best." Kross nodded, laying back in the bed, "I like you a lot but, I don't want this all based on sex, and I don't want to marry because the everyone is pressuring us." Kross replied as well.
So they did, from that point on Raguna and Kross went on actual dates, and festivals together. Before they knew it, months had passed and then a year, before finally Raguna gave Kross a bouquet. The whole thing was a grand affair, Rita and Eunice having planned it all, with the boys final say. The bouquet of course was a tradition, but everything else was much less feminine, Raguna like flowers and all but he wasn't about to walk down the aisle in a poofy dress.
The two dressed in their finest suits, and were wed on the far side of the lake beneath the fruit trees. Kross of course found solice in dragging his now husband off into the forest to hide for awhile, not being used to so much attention on him.
"So, they got their wish, even if they did have to wait for it" Raguna cuckled, leaned against Kross as they sat on a fallen tree trunk."Yes, but it isn't too bad settling down, we were all but living at my place after some time anyhow." Kross smiled shyly and sighed, the voices of the others reaching them now. "Guess we better get back to the party." Raguna said, moving to stand, though Kross's hand on his arm stopped him.
