*_*CHAPTER SIX*_

Leon looked at Seth as they arrived at Chris's house and gently shook him awake. "Seth, we're here," he said and frowned when Seth just looked at him a second and then closed his eyes again.

Leon got out of the car along with Ashley to greet the people who were coming out of the house. "Chris. Claire. Sorry to just drop in on you like this," he said as he moved around the other side and opened Seth's door. He leaned down and gently lifted the red head out. He looked at Chris for a minute as Chris came over to check out the other man. "He got attacked by a Las Plagas-infested dog," he told him. "It's a long story, but I'd feel better getting him somewhere so he can rest."

Chris looked at him and nodded. "Okay. Follow me.

"Who's the chick?" he asked, looking at Ashley. His sister, Claire, was eyeing the other girl as well and he smiled. He went up to Leon and whispered, "Watch it. A cat fight's coming up." Leon shook his head with a smile.

"What? You don't believe it?" Chris asked.

"Not that. She's Ashley Graham, the president's daughter," he said. "Or rather, the ex-president's daughter," he corrected and looked down when Seth moaned in discomfort.

"Plus, I'm not even seeing her. I'm seeing the one I'm holding. I've been with him for about three years now," he said. Leon headed towards the house, not waiting for Chris or to see his reaction. He smiled slightly in knowing Chris was probably staring at him open-mouthed.

"Ashley, come along. I'm still protecting you," Leon said. He watched as Ashley rushed up to join him, not questioning anything he told her to do.

Chris and Claire went ahead to make a place ready for Seth. Along the way, Claire listened as Chris told her that it was the guy Leon was seeing, not Ashley. Claire stopped and looked at him to see if he was serious. Then she shook her head. "I wouldn't have thought he was gay," she said after she entered the house.

Claire watched as Leon brought the red head in. Chris helped him get the red head settled and examined the wound.

They fixed the wound up properly and then looked at Leon expectantly. Chris was the first one to speak up. "Okay, tell us what's going on," he demanded.

Leon looked at him for a second, obviously thinking hard. To Chris's surprise the blond shook his head. "Why the hell not?" Chris asked. He saw Leon grin at him and then sighed. He was always impatient and Claire ribbed him. "What?" he asked irritably.

Leon spoke up before Claire could reply. "I would only like to tell this once and I'm sure Ashley would agree that it's hard to go through, so once is about all I'll do," he said. He saw Chris nod his head as he handed a cell phone to Claire. Chris had one himself. They began to make the phone calls.

Leon sat beside Seth and watched the green eyes open. "Hey. How you feeling?" he asked as he kissed the other man. Claire watched him and then saw the red head return it with equal passion. It occurred to her that they just might be made for each other.

Claire finished her phone calls and looked at Chris who was talking to his last person. He hung up and looked at her for a second with a shrug.

"They'll be here in about two days," he said. Leon looked at him and nodded. Seth looked at the two of them and then at Leon. Claire moved so the red head could see her and smiled at him with a wave.

"I'm Chris Redfield," he said to Seth in what seemed to be a suggestive manner. He then looked at Leon who was looking at him with a raised brow. Chris laughed. "You know me. I never wait," he said. Leon shook his head and looked upwards as if praying.

Claire laughed and waved to Seth. "Oh, that's just my sister, Claire," Chris said. "She's just a bum she hangs around here all the time." Claire nailed him in the arm. "Ouch!" he exclaimed, rubbing the "injured" arm. Seth watched them and smiled.

"I'm Seth Anderson," he said. He looked at Leon and motioned that he wanted to sit up. Leon helped him sit up and Seth looked at Ashley. She was sleeping in the chair.

"It's nice to meet you two," Seth said and then pointed to Ashley. "I think she needs a bed more than I do." Leon looked over and smiled. He shook her awake and Claire offered to show her to her room. Ashley got up and smiled at Claire then looked at Seth. She hugged him and gave him a peck on the cheek. Seth blushed a bit. "What was that for?"

Ashley shrugged. "For helping to save me and for protecting me," she said as she walked out with Claire. They started to talk as soon as they were out the door and giggles could be heard after awhile. Seth and the others shook their heads. They were glad they waited.

Two days later, the others arrived and looked at the red head in interest, as he was the one who was setting out the food. Leon looked at them. "Guys and gals," he said looking at Rebecca and Jill. "This is my boyfriend, Seth Anderson, and the girl there next to Claire is President Graham's daughter, Ashley.

"First, Umbrella is once again rearing its head," he said, looking at all of them to see their reaction. They all stiffened and looked at him in disbelief.

"I'm serious. The man I went to training with, Jack Krauser, joined the Umbrella staff," he said. "He let it slip when I was fighting him in Spain."

He cleared his throat. "Second, we have a new threat that will destroy mankind. They call themselves the Los Illuminados. What they basically are parasites called Las Plagas that have the ability to take over the host. The Los Illuminados were going to use Ashley to infect the United States. That plan backfired because of me. So, they found another way of doing it."

Leon took out a folder that Luis left for him before he died. He handed it to Chris where the others crowded around to look. They finished reading its contents and looked at Leon. "So, now you see what is going on. These things are worse than a lot of the B.O.W.S.," he said and began to tell about his experiences in Spain and what had ensued after he returned. Seth was watching him closely; it was the first time he heard the whole thing. Ashley occasionally interjected with some parts of her story. After Leon and Ashley finished, they started to make plans.
