Disclaimer: Jealousy, violence, hurt/comfort, love, war... Everything, starts during the Threesome quest, but definitely doesn't end there! Also, any character that I did not create for this story DOES NOT belong to me, they belong to CDPR. |
I have updated chapter 1 so that I have a written statement giving credit for the characters to CDPR! I told myself I wouldn't forget... But I did anyways, damn.
Hope you enjoyed the last chapter, lel. I had some MAJOR conflict of interest in my own head about what to write in this chapter... Well I got it figured out, and enjoy:) Just an advisory, the action will begin to get more and more intense as the chapters go on in the next few, also if you don't like Yen- This is the story for you... Like her? Not so much. This update was HUGELY delayed because of my accidental pressing of the side mouse button of my mouse and 4K words being deleted... I was pissed. I changed one of the genres of the story from Angst to Hurt/Comfort... I searched Angst up on the internet again and I didn't like what I read, it didn't fit NEARLY as well as Hurt/Comfort, don't you agree? 337 and climbing reads/views so far, absolutely amazing, I'm so happy! The most on chapter 4? Guess I made it that good eh? lol... Enjoy. I don't publish these chapters until I am happy with it, so there should not be ANY bad chapters, I hope...
Chapter 6- A bet.
2nd person POV
Geralt awoke with a very warm presence cuddled up to his body.
"Triss," he thought with happiness.
He looked down at her, she was fast asleep, tightly wrapped around him like she'll never let him go.
He kissed her head lightly, and ran his fingers through her hair.
"Did she always have such soft, beautiful red hair? Have to ask her..."
Her eyes fluttered open and she looked up at him, she smiled and kissed him.
"Good morning, love." She said to him, in a 'I just woke up,' voice... Still full of love.
"Good morning, my love." he replied back to her.
"Now's my chance..."
"Triss?"
"Yes, Geralt?"
"Did you always have such beautiful, soft, auburn hair?"
Her beautiful face changed in a grieving kind of way.
"You don't remember?"
He thought of the irony of that question, at least in his past.
"Guess not?" he replied.
"Hmm, well, I used to have a full head of chestnut brown hair... But, when you died I was so heartbroken and stricken with grief, that I changed it to auburn red, and grew it out to be just longer than shoulder length."
(A/N Stupid spell check wanted to change it to Auburn... like the college, lol:)
He looked at her with an admiring and touched smile.
He didn't really know what to say, so he said what he thought was right.
"Thank you."
She smiled, "I arrived too late... I couldn't stop it, I was told you were dead, and that Yennefer was too, that she died trying to save you. One of the only good things I can honestly say about her anymore... But that doesn't matter, I instantly broke into tears when I learned, I sobbed for hours every night for more than a year after, sobbing untill sleep finally took me... 5 years you were gone, 5 years I was totally alone, once I finally was able to sleep without crying I told myself I needed to move on with my life. I had changed my hair just after you died, it didn't help with the pain but it gave me security... We weren't lovers back then, I was still trying to get you attention, but I was broken... For 5 years if I heard someone talk about you being gone I'd get tears in my eyes... I knew about the problems with the Wild Hunt you two had, how you set off with the Witchers of the school of the Viper to save Yen. I didn't know much after that though... "
"Forgive me, I didn't mean to go into a pathetic rant..."
"Triss," he said with a sad tone. "I'm glad you shared that with me... It's true, I set off with Letho and the Viper school Witchers to hunt Eredin and save Yen. 4... or 5 witchers in total, I don't remember. They couldn't break through the perfectly synced sword wall that were 5 determined witchers... but there were too many of them for us to win without casualties on our side, it was a stalemate. Eventually I offered Eredin a deal, my soul for Yennefer. He didn't hesitate and immediately accepted, after that I, of course remember nothing, except Rivia and that mob... A young boy with a pitchfork, I wouldn't kill him because he was just a boy, but he would and did kill me."
Triss's eyes had tears in them, grief, regret and anger on her beautiful face.
"I'm sorry, I had no idea, that's awful."
"You've nothing to apologize for, Ciri saved me and Yen from death..."
"How?"
"I've not a clue, she has her incredible abilities as you know..."
"Yes, she's incredibly powerful."
"Mhmm, I'm very proud of her."
"You should be."
"She came to me the day after... that night. She heard me talking to myself about what happened, and ask me if I'd tell her."
Triss's face was either pale white, or splashed with red pain... it was hard to tell with her hands over her face, just small spaces between her middle and pointer finger spread open to show her eyes.
"Oh no..." she said with horror.
"Ooooooh yes,"
"She had a great time listening to me as I told her what happened, I told her the truth of what happened, what I did...
"At the time I could deal with the doubt and regret in myself, but I couldn't have handled Ciri being disappointed at me, if she had had disappointment, resentment, or gods forbid fear in her eyes I couldn't have lived with myself..."
Triss's eyes were wide, an expression of deep horror on her face.
"But she didn't, every part of the night that I recounted she just laughed harder at, she didn't think I was a monster, no disappointment in her eyes."
He wrapped his arm around her warm naked body and pulled her closer to him. She visibly relaxed, both at his words and most of all his gesture of comfort.
"We talked for a while after, I told her about what I said to you and she was... understanding, she wasn't mad, but she urged me to reconsider, Ciri told me her guess at what was going through you head and what she thought you were feeling through the whole thing..."
He looked at her and she had an intrigued look on her face and one eyebrow raised.
"I'll tell you what she said if you really wanna know, but don't get upset when I start sounding prideful and stupid." He said to her with a raised eyebrow and a serious expression. She moved even closer into his body and said:
"Hmmmm, sur..."
Boom
She was cut off short because of a portal opening right in the space where you walk out onto the balcony.
They knew who would who it was before they saw them, because Triss and Geralt heard sick, amused laughter.
It was Yennefer...
"HAHAHA! You Bastard, couldn't bare being alone so you have to hire a who..."
She stopped when she looked at the bed... Or more accurately the red hair of the redhead cuddled into Geralt's side...
"YOU BITCH!" She screamed, "LIKE A BITCH IN HEAT YOU CAME RIGHT BACK TO HIM! YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT DO YOU? ALWAYS RIGHT EAGER TO SPREAD YOUR LEGS FOR HIM LIKE THE GOOD LITTLE REDHEAD BITCH YOU ARE!" Yennefer spat venomously.
With a flick of Triss's wrist clothes materialized on her and Geralt. She didn't expect anything less to come out of Yennefer's mouth, but it still hurt to hear her say that...
Geralt, noticing the hurt look on his love's face immediately got protective.
"Go to hell Yennefer, you're the bitch, you'll spread your legs for anyone if it'll get you what you want. That makes you a whore if I've ever seen one, I'd bet that behind that bitchy prideful ashtray you call a face, you secretly are a slutty bitch that wants nothing more than for a big strong man to slam you up against a wall and plough you till ya can't stand!" He spat at her.
"It wouldn't, even, surprise me."
"YOU BASTARD! FUCK YOU! YOU CAT EYED FREA..."
"Oh PLEASE!" He mocked in a bored tone.
"I can see in the dark, spot minuscule details from afar and see much further than any normal human can with these "cat" eyes. What traits do your disgusting purple eyes have? Aside from being huge turn offs, extra bitchiness? I'd say! I'm starting to understand why you're always do grumpy, edgy and such a bitch... I would be too if all the men you spread your legs for couldn't satisfy you because they couldn't stay hard! Looking at your turn off eyes and your sorry excuse for curves? I don't blame em!
(A/N Don't get me wrong, purple eyes are extremely rare, super sexy, and absolutely gorgeous on women.)
This of course sent her into a rage, a bigger rage, she was already MEGA pissed off. He hoped that Triss was listening because knowing Yennefer's temper he knew she'd be so pissed off she'd get violent... and without an open space to confront her in, and even without his armor and bombs, he couldn't defend against a spell from a sorceress as powerful as Yennefer... alone.
"HOW DARE YOU!? YOU BASTARD I WILL BLAST YOU TO BITS!"
She, as expected raised her hands to attack him and with an incantation she sent a bolt of lightning at him...
He raised his hand in the sign of heliotrope but before the lightning got to him it hit an invisible barrier, went poof and was gone.
"No. you. won't!." Triss hissed with venom from her side of the bed, anger and determination on her face.
"YOU BITCH! I WILL CRUSH YOU, LITTLE GIRL!"
"TRY IT!" She yelled at her, and hopped up from the bed to stand on the other side of the room. Triss summoned her staff and looked at Yennefer with pure malice in her eyes.
Triss threw a bolt of lightning at her but she effortlessly waved it aside and it flew out the window. Yen brought her hands together with a clap in front of her, and a black streak flew towards Triss with a whistle.
With a twirl of her staff it dissipated in front of her, harmlessly. Geralt could hear a hissing sound.
Yen started to get really pissed off, she started incanting something, her hands lit up with purple energy and she gestured as if to grab something harshly, Triss saw this, felt it, and knew Yennefer was getting ready to try to immobilize her with a locking spell.
Triss knew that the only way to really counter this was to do the same. She got into a steady stance and gestured as if to grab at Yennefer, Triss had the very rare and incredibly powerful innate talent of being able to cast the most advanced spells without the help of others or incantations, most of the time. So Triss was able to cast this spell far quicker than Yen, but Yennefer came up with the idea first and had the head start, they cast it at roughly the same time, the air in between them spiraled and pulsed like it could blow any second. Both Yen and Triss pushed hard against the other, both were getting tired slowly at their extremely strong magic battle of wills.
Geralt knew he should not interfere, if he moved it could distract Yennefer and Triss could wipe the floor with her, but Triss could also get distracted and worried... That would cause her to lose. There was so much power in the air that his medallion was screaming and thrashing like a carp out of water. The chain holding it around his neck the only thing keeping it from bouncing off his neck, across the floor, and off the balcony...
"I could through a dimeritium bomb at Yennefer's feet, so that it explodes, or I could cast Aard at her... Both would require moving though, and even should it work Triss would be pissed that I didn't let her have her fun... But then again what if Triss isn't strong enough to win this? ARGH!"
He ultimately decided that he would NOT interfere, but at the slightest hint of Triss being in trouble he definitely would interfere.
It was kind of like a fist fight, both mages putting all their power into pushing against the other, looking for any opening to blast the other off their feat. The two most powerful sorceresses in the world, at a stalemate, for now.
Triss was smart, she made it look and feel as if her strength was waning, Yennefer of course saw this and got cocky, with a smile on her face, she narrowed her push and strengthened it...
Triss, seeing this, shifted her weight a little bit to the right so that she was barely holding off Yen's onslaught on her left with a little bit of power, then she saw her opening in Yen's push and fired every last bit of raw power she had down the right side of Yennefer's newly narrowed spell... It worked as desired, Yen was caught off guard and super surprised, it hit Yennefer so hard the spell immediately broke and Yen was sent flying into the wall on the other side of the room.
Triss smirked victoriously, but just to show off she took her staff and cracked it down on the ground, then she sent a pulse of magic through it, a pulse signature to her and the bottom 7-8 inches of her staff popped apart and locked into place about 7 inches apart from each other. Triss brought the newly created half trident ( it only had two prongs...) level in the air pointed at Yen, she then expertly threw it like a javelin and it impaled itself in the wall on both sides of Yen's neck, pinning her to the wall.
Geralt quickly shot up and went through a drawer, more like stash, in the room and pulled out a manacle, he ran to Triss and clamped it around Yen's wrist.
Dimeritum of course.
"Haha, FUCK YOU! little girl. You're WEAK! Just a slutty little weak novice bitch that thinks she's something to shake a stick at! HA! THE BULLIES AT ARETUZA HIT HARDER THAN YOU! I do believe I heard you mention crushing, IS THIS WHAT YOU MEANT, BITCH!?" Triss yelled and pressed hard on her staff.
Yen was choking now...
"Triss," Geralt said lightly and kissed her neck.
She immediately realized what she was doing and stepped back, ashamed.
Triss was not a vengeful person, Yennefer had threatened and attacked Geralt, and Triss got protective and defensive, she showed her claws to protect her lover.
She turned around and smiled at Geralt, he looked worried, she hooked her arms around his neck and leaned up to kiss him passionately he kissed back eagerly and wrapped his arms around her waist
It was at that moment that the door opened...
"What in the everlasting FUCK, is going on in here!?" Phillipa.
"Yes, I couldn't help but ponder myself..." Rita, polite as usual.
They looked around the room at the display, not at the people in the room, but at the magic residue... It was strong, and detailed what happened very vividly. THEN they looked around the room, Triss was on her toes with her arms around Geralt's neck, nothing abnormal there...
Then they saw Yennefer on the far wall, she had a large trident impaled in the wall holding her there by her neck. She looked beat up, exhausted, like she had just fought for her life and lost...
Ultimately the two fucking master slueces deduced that Triss and Yen had finally come to blows over Geralt, and the young Sorceress from Maribor had come out on top. This conclusion was mostly accurate, as they would soon find out.
"What brought you two here? Couldn't have been the magic pulses coming from the room, no..." Geralt mocked sarcastically.
"We heard you and these two had a rather violent breakup, so we figured we'd come and try our luck..." Phillipa smirked.
Rita, Triss and Geralt all laughed aloud. Triss with a "gimme a break," look on her face, and Rita with a light blush to her cheeks but also amused.
"Of course we came because of the magic pulses!" She finally said.
"Better be..." Triss mumbled.
Rita elbowed Phil lightly.
"I got a pretty good idea of what happened, but care to share?" Phillipa said with an intrigued tone.
Geralt said: "Short or long version?"
"The long one, please." Rita responded kindly, she respected and owed him alot, Yen and Phil may treat Witchers as inferior and weak... But Rita and Triss have witnessed first hand how strong and kind they are, and treat them as equals.
Geralt smiled warmly at her, which caused Triss to frown.
He told her everything that happened, the whole story, he told them about the night a few nights ago that Triss and Yen tried to trick him, and how they underestimated him and how he had had his own plan to make sure he wouldn't get trapped... He in less detail told them about what transpired after, the fallout and how they got here... He leaned down and whispered in Triss's ear.
"Mhmm," was all she said and twirled her hand at Yen. The sorceresses and Geralt, because of his medallion, could feel that she had cast a spell. It was a 'ear-muff' spell, that she cast on Yen.
"Anyway..." He started...
He told them about how Triss had come to a couple days after, pouring her heart out and pleading, begging for him to forgive her. He told how they had rekindled their relationship, that they had reconnected their love, like a spark to a fire.
He looked at Triss and she was nodding, an ashamed look on her face, but it was obvious that it wasn't because of what Geralt had just recounted... But because of how they got into that situation to begin with.
He wrapped his arm around her and hugged her tightly, he kissed the top of her head and said: "Don''t blame yourself Triss, it's not your fault, our love can't be broken like that."
She almost had tears in her eyes, it was still fresh in both their minds, and very sensitive.
Rita, noticing this, quickly and kindly said: "What happened after that?"
Geralt nodded at Triss encouragingly and she picked up the story to recount the morning, when Yen walked into the room through a portal and saw Triss in Geralt's bed... She guessed from her words that Yen had expected Geralt to have hired a whore, since she assumed that he wouldn't take the loneliness well... Fucking bitch, she thinks so bad of Geralt, always have. Anyways, she told them of how she had attacked and threatened Geralt after he defended Triss with harsh words of his own. She explained the fight between the two sorceress that ensued after Triss blocked Yen's attack at Geralt, she didn't exaggerate at all, and she didn't need to, it was plenty impressive as it was...
"That's what happened," they both concluded.
Rita smiled, Philippa just cursed and said: "DAMMIT!"
"HAHA!" Rita laughed at her.
She looked at Phil expectantly and Phil cursed in defeat, she reached in her back pocket and pulled out a heavy bag, it clinked and she handed it to Rita forcefully.
Rita had a victorious and triumphant smile on her face.
Both Triss and Geralt had exactly the same expression, eyebrows raised and a confused look, perfectly synced.
"A bet. One we made long ago, just after we found out Triss was pursuing Geralt to be precise..."
Triss face had taken on a sad look...
He rubbed her back with his hand to cheer her up.
"We bet 30 crowns on who would end up with Geralt in the end, and 50 crowns on the winner of the magic battle that would inevitably occur. Conveniently the former is almost guaranteed to be directly tied to the former, I of course bet on Triss. She was a much better student than Yennefer was at Aretuza, so I was 100% confident in her victory." She finished with pride in her voice.
"Do you ever think about anything besides school?"
"No," she replied without hesitation.
"Sigh... I picked Yennefer because she was much older, more experienced... And, as I thought, more powerful. I was clearly wrong."
"That's pretty obvious, now isn't it, Phil?" Rita teased.
"Bitch..." Phil mumbled.
"Haha!"
Geralt and Triss had eyebrows raised again at their display of love-hate friendship.
"Would you care to hear some examples of Triss's superior school record?"
"Sure!" Geralt replied immediately, without hesitation.
"Ha, very well. First, when Yennefer was at Aretuza for no more than a few weeks, Tissaia tested her students with a trial she called the "rock trial," very classic... Sigh, it was one of the first trials the students went through at the school. According to Tissaia's notes she quoted: "Yennefer, Piglet, failed miserably at the trial, the rock did not even wobble..."
They all laughed at that.
"While I was teaching there, Triss was my star student, she did everything right. In that trial with the rock, which I had carried over from Tissaia's era, and used the trial myself. I subjected my students to the trial, and Triss passed the test so well, that I made her demonstration into a megascope crystal and kept it to use as instruction in the future... The rock went so high that it hit the ceiling, then glided down and back onto the desk like a show off! It was wonderful!"
They all looked impressed at that, and amused, Triss had a grin because she of course remembered that.
"Care to hear another?"
"Please!" Geralt responded without hesitation again.
"Another example, one that I think is even more impressive and memorable. Is the trial of lightning..." She stopped, and looking at the expression on Geralt's face asked "You know it?"
"Yeah, just another of the long list of things Yennefer never did with or for me... Was talk about Aretuza. Triss did however, she even showed me her bottle of lightni..."
He didn't even get the word out before: "YEAH! I DID! And you almost DROPPED IT you stupid idiot! It was like a piece of my heart being ripped off with each bounce that bottle made in the air as you fumbled to catch it..." She scolded him, feigned anger in her voice.
"HAHA!" Phil laughed hard.
"IT'S NOT FUNNY PHILIPPA!" She yelled at her.
"It's hilarious!" Phil retorted.
"Shut up Philippa, it's not funny." Geralt snapped at her.
She shut up immediately.
Geralt turned to Triss and with hope and shame he said: "Triss, I'm so sorry that happened... You remember how ashamed I was?"
Silence for a moment... Then she sighed and said: "I remember... You brought me flowers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, gifts and apologies for weeks after that..." She suddenly smirked wickedly then continued- "I made you massage my back for 20 minutes every night before bed, then told you to go sleep on the floor."
"That was cruel..." Geralt mumbled.
"OH it was meant to be! Oh the feeling of your strong hands caressing my bare back and on those tight muscles, scratching in those hard to reach places... MMMM! So good... Then the husky, unsatisfied, lust filled sound of your voice as you bid me good night? AHH! The gratification was endless!" She sexily purred and dragged out the last word, specifically emphasizing it.
Geralt was deeply frowning, he had an expression that clearly said: 'are you done yet?', and he did NOT look amused.
"Don't forget you also let your hair down, wiggled your ass at me temptingly, and loudly moaned as sexily, teasingly, and as erotic as possible every time I went over a muscle..." He reminded her with a growl.
She chuckled wickedly and with a satisfied grin looked up at him and said: "What? Expecting an apology? It's not gonna happen. I loved watching how it drove you wild with lust for me, and only me. I knew that I wasn't getting it in a very honest or passionate way... But I didn't really care, your eyes were on me and it made me feel so good... But anyways, maybe the "famed Geralt of Rivia," the' "White Wolf," the "Wise Witcher," should have foreseen the consequences that would follow playing HOT POTATO with my SOLE MOMENTO! OF ARETUZA!" She loudly screamed at him.
He cringed and looked away in shame... Those 2 months were the only period of strife in their entire time knowing each other and loving each other.
There was silence in the room for a few moments until Triss broke it, she turned to Geralt and said: "Geralt. Look at me." He turned his head and looked straight into her eyes, after a moment she, with a dangerous tone, slowly said: "This is the end of this conversation... huff... That bottle of lightning means as much, or more, to me that Vesemir's medallion meant to Ciri... Or your medallion means to you!" While she was speaking she used her finger to point for emphasis.
She lowered her finger, and her face relaxed, her face turned into a loving and comforting expression. She smiled and said:
"Geralt," she purred and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you, Geralt, more than you can ever imagine, and far more than that bottle, don't you ever forget that." She kissed him passionately and they made out for a few moments then she pulled back. She stretched up on her tip toes to whisper in his ear lustfully: "I locked us in that room in Kaer Morhen and soundproofed the walls... I completely submitted to you for two days straight, let you have your way with me all day and all night, and used every dirty, sex spell I knew to give you the time of your life and make it up to you." She moaned lightly and bit his ear, then bit his neck to mark him as hers.
She pulled back, and said aloud: "We made up long ago, we also agreed never to speak of that again, so I'm sorry for bringing it up..."
Phil and Rita cleared their throats loudly and they both turned to them. Triss blushed bright red, and Geralt just crossed his arms.
Triss put her hands on her hips and said: "What?"
"You two sure had some friction there... But it's good to finally see that you have his love, he picked you Triss. Don't screw it up..." Rita said to her seriously, in the same 'listen to me, and listen carefully' voice as she used to use when she was tutoring Triss... All those years ago.
"I think it's pretty obvious that Triss passed that test as well with flying colors, and Yen didn't, Yennefer failed miserably and a fit of rage attacked Tissaia after she congratulated one of the students who got it right. She's weak, and a sore loser."
"Doesn't surprise me, I lost all my memories after I sold my soul for Yennefer to the hunt... Long story short, Triss was the women I woke up to, NOT Yen, me and Triss traveled the world after that to regain my memories, she tried as hard as she could to fill me in on everything and help me as much as she could, she was completely honest about Yen and what we were before... But I didn't care about Yen, she wasn't there when I woke up, Triss was and as far as I was concerned Triss cared about me... And this 'Yennefer' character, didn't."
Triss was swooning, she had tears in her eyes, and Rita was almost crying at how full of love the words of his romantic confession to Triss, were.
Triss came up to his side and he pulled her close against his chest, she smiled happily and rubbed her head against his chest like a cat.
"Turns out, she didn't give one shit about my memory loss or me as far I could tell, even though she had had the amnesia as well... She had mages to help her, I had no one except Triss, and when I..."
"Don't say it, please." Triss said to him, pain and hurt from old wounds opening could be heard like a gong in her voice.
Phil and Rita nodded in understanding, they knew what happened...
"To go find Yen, it turned out she didn't even lift a finger to try and find me, and had been sleeping with other sorcerers and making pillow friends with Nilfgaard the whole time!"
Rita just looked over at Yen pinned to the wall, she couldn't hear anything, and really couldn't see them either... Rita just shook her head in disappointment and disapproval.
"And it gets better! When she found out about the feelings between me and Triss? What happened between us? Her jealousy and pride flared so hard that she finally blew, she slapped me harder than she's ever done before, and it's been a lot... She cursed me out for five whole minutes, the most demoralizing mean names you can imagine, then she just slapped me, opened a portal and left, of course on her way out she cast a spell that blew me across the room into the wall... Later I found out that it was complete bullshit, because she had cheated on ME! When I confronted her about it, she of course just blew up in rage, denied it, then blamed me... I found out the name of the sorcerer later, not gonna say anything more though."
Rita gasped, she had no idea JUST how toxic their relationship was... Nor just how abusive Yennefer really was to Geralt. Little did she know that that was a mild example...
"That wasn't even the worst..."
"I don't wanna know..." Rita said.
"You don't, trust me." Triss and Geralt both grimaced, Margarita cringed...
"Well, I've listened enough... Congratulations Triss, I can't say I was supportive of you... But you made the right decisions with Geralt, in the end he without hesitation chose you, well done. I'm also very sorry I let that bitch in Vergen trick me, it's almost completely my fault that you were captured and tortured... Forgive me."
"Thank you Philippa, I'm happy with the decisions I made and some weren't the best, but I can't change them now... It's alright, it doesn't matter now, sometimes you just never expect for sorceresses to be so deceiving."
Phil looked a little shameful, but then smiled: "Now, if you don't mind, I am going to take my leave, and with your permission take this bitch nailed to the wall with me..." and walked over to Yennefer.
"Please do..." Triss responded and held out her hand, her staff obediently flew to her hand and the prongs retracted themselves and slid back into the frame as they were originally... She then waved her hand and the spell deafening Yennefer dissipated.
"You'll have to tell us the story of how your staff got to be so cool, Triss. Me and Rita know how special that thing is to you, never told us about that feature though..."
"Haha, maybe I will someday."
"Make sure Yen knows to leave me alone in the future, I threatened to tie her to a bed and whore her out for 50 crowns an hour for Dandelion to get rich off... But I figure you'll come up with something better..." Geralt called to her.
Phillipa grabbed Yen, opened a portal and said: "HA! I will! Farewell Geralt, Triss, Rita. Till next time."
"Farewell Philippa," Triss
"Ugh, I hope it's not soon..." Geralt.
"Haha, farewell Phil, I'll buy myself something pretty!"
Philippa snorted, at Geralt and Rita's remarks...
"Go lick a chalk board, Rita!"
"HA! Wouldn't bet on it if I were you!" She replied, amused, knowing she had the better burn.
Philippa then stepped through the portal with Yennefer in her grasp.
With that they stood there in silence for a few moments, Geralt brooding, Rita thinking about... Well, that's pretty obvious... and Triss leaning up against her staff thinking of Geralt...
Eventually Geralt broke the silence after he walked to the bed and pulled out a bottle of wine and three goblets. He asked:
"So, Rita, care for a drink?" He asked her with a smile.
"Oh, Gods, yes!" And they all sat down to reminisce about the past, tell stories, and laugh the evening away.
A/N LONG chapter! It felt like 9K words to me because I accidentally tapped my side mouse button and it deleted a huge portion of it... Anyway, I hope this was very enjoyable to read, It was so hard for me to keep the tears from streaming down my face as I sit here in the dining room writing this... Some of those parts were just so sad. Please tell me what you thought and I'll, most likely have chapter 7 out REAL QUICK because I am so excited to write it, and because it will be short, XOXO I know... But I guarantee you won't EVER see this surprise coming, you'll squeal in surprise when you read the first line, LMAO. I can't wait! I wanted to make a Shout Out to eesamaster1, he has been such a huge supporter of me, a great friend and an amazing author, he's just great, thank you man!
