A few days later Aria was enjoying her wine and her new dj. He was really packing in the club the last few nights. And much to her pleasant surprise, they were dancing and staying later than they normally did. Which meant they were drinking more, which meant more credits for Aria’s purse. Although she really didn’t need the money from the club, she had significant funds coming from numerous institutions from all over the station. She had everything from protection money to extortion. There was even some credits coming in from legitimate businesses and hefty investments.
So no, the club didn’t need the money, but Aria was the kind of woman who didn’t like to fail in anything, and she would go to great lengths to prevent such a thing from happening. In fact so much so, that she had been the first person in centuries to maintain some sort of peace and stability on the old Omega Mining Station. She was not the kind of woman you’d want to piss off.
Melia entered the private lounge carrying two data pads, an unopened bottle of Ardat Yakshi wine, and a wine glass. Handing one of the datapads to the woman standing next to the couch, she next sat down the wine glass on a small round table next to the couch and started to open the bottle of wine. With clouded thoughts the purple skinned woman waved her hand at her assistant.
“No, no. I don’t want any.”
With a deep low sigh she barely forced out, “I’m not in the mood tonight.”



“Yes mistress.”
The purple asari gave a lopsided grin. “You know you don’t have to call me mistress when no one else is in the room Melia.”
“I know mistress.. I mean ma’am.”
Rolling her eyes thinking that wasn’t much better the CEO offered, “Melia. Why don’t you take the bottle home tonight?”
Melia’s eyes shot open. “Oh mistress I couldn’t. I feel guilty when you give me a nearly empty bottle. I couldn’t possibly take a new bottle. Oh mistress I just couldn’t.”
In a stern voice that made it clear to her assistant that she wasn’t suggesting, Aria announced, “I’m not asking.” Handing her the full bottle, Aria said. “Now take it and that is the end of it.” Her eyes glanced over the crowd she was searching but for what she didn’t know. “I’m going to walk the floor, I’ll be back.”
Looking back at her assistant, “Can we go over these data logs when I get back? Or is there something pressing I need to address right away?”
“No ma’am. It will keep.”
Melia knew what was on Aria’s mind. Turning down the sweet wine and wanted to walk the floor herself, she knew it meant one thing. The queen of omega was bored and was going to look for some action or trouble. Whichever she found first.

As Aria made her way through the bar, the patrons parted for her like the red sea. She passed bartenders, waitresses and dancers with little regard and some not at all. Stopping at the base of some stairs she glanced over to see who was working the blow job table that night. Not that blow jobs were allowed in the club and certainly not by the entertainers, but the dancers had affectionately named it the blow job table since they were on their knees most of the night when working that station. The asari Goddess didn’t allow her eyes to hesitate for even a second, when she recognized the young woman she had been with the other night. Arrogantly she focused on the pole dancers on top of the main stage where all could see.
The pole dancers were the most desired and best skilled dancers. It took years for an asari dancer to win the attentions of Aria and be placed up there. It was the most visibly place in the whole establishment, second only to Aria’s private lounge which faced directly opposite of the main stage.   Aria amusingly watched the dancers swirl and twirl knowing that their goddess was watching them specifically. To the patrons surrounding the large round platform, when Aria walked the floor, all the alluring dancers moved with even more grace as they seem to be putting all the effort they had into pleasing their mistress.
The young dancer who was still able to conceal her proof of being Aria’s lover for the night on her hip, was assigned to the blow job table for the week. Although it was not a punishment, it was the most dreaded place to work. It allowed the horny guest to get just a little too close to the dancers. However they weren’t allowed to be touched and there was a batarian guard standing by to make sure. But it didn’t mean that every once in a while, a drunken customer would get a good grope or two before he was slammed to the floor or thrown out. After all, the asari here were dancers, not whores.
Still focusing solely on the beauties swinging high above the crowd, Aria heard a smack and a commotion just to the side of her. It was coming from the table top. “Hey! You fucking asshole!”
Aria turned just in time to see an intoxicated batarian elbow the dancer in the face as he tried pulling her off the table by her legs onto him. The owner of the club glared at the batarian body guard who was watching the pole dancers as intently as she had been, but had neglected his duties to protect her dancers. Aria watched purple blood flow from the young woman’s nose as she fell helplessly to the hard table.
Within seconds, Aria’s arms were around the drunken man’s neck in a head lock dragging him out of his seat. Her body began to glow blue as 5 other batarians withdrew their guns and pointed them at the woman holding their chief. As the seconds ticked, the chief kicked and flailed his body suffering from the loss of air. It took a few minutes for the remaining men to recognize that it was Aria herself, who was holding their commanding officer. Tossing the man to the ground, Aria spat, “I think it’s time you were leaving.”
The men got the officer to his feet when the angry asari added, “And I don’t just mean my club. Get off my station!”
The negligent batarian along with a few other guards escort the band out of the club. When Aria was satisfied that the disrespectful group were safely headed out of the club, she turned her attention back to the bj table . There the asari witnessed Melia helping the girl off the table and into a chair, holding a rag to her blooded face. Melia informed the CEO, “She’s a mess. She needs to be cleaned up.” Aria nodded to her lounge giving her assistant unspoken permission to use her private room to get the girl cleaned up when she headed out towards the main entrance of the club.
Helping the battered woman to her feet, Melia tried to console the girl by informing her, “In a few minutes, that batarian guard who’s supposed to be keeping these animals off of you, is going to look a lot worse then you in a few seconds.” They both shared an awkward chuckle as they headed up the stairs.
