Once Azran had consumed the potion, he stood up and summoned Xlandria back from the ether.
"Please lay back down," she asked as soon as she appeared. "Gharni and I may be upset with you but more importantly, we want to make sure you're all right." Azran complied, lying back upon the ground, now with his head propped up in Xlandria's lap. For the next several hours the trio watched the impeding trees crumble to ash as Azran received an earful about his behavior. He couldn't complain too much though, as his companions also took the opportunity to dote on him, tending to his wounds and caressing his face. Gharni and Xlandria took turns, alternating between chiding him for his behavior and expressing their affection. Eventually Xlandria decided to show Azran exactly how much she loved him, opening his robes and performing gentle, slow falatio. "Just remember," said Gharni as the succubus performed her magic, "if you get yourself killed we can't do this for you anymore." Gharni moved down his body to take over from Xlandria who then moved up and began to kiss Azran deeply. The two of them traded off like this several times over the next half hour, not permitting Azran to cum. By this time Azran was writhing in delightful agony. After some more of this exquisite torture Gharni joined Xlandria at Azran's cock and the two of them worked together, locking lips in a kiss with his shaft held between their two lips and they moved up and down its length in unison. The sensation and sight of this act pushed him over the edge. Azran sent spout after spout of seamen onto his companion's faces and, once he was done, the two of them finished by licking his essence off of each other's faces. Azran gave a sigh of relief and exasperation as he came down from his climax. "Even if I don't get myself killed doing something foolhardy," said the warlock, "the two of you will likely do me in with attentions such as that." Xlandria laughed, "I think surviving that kind of onslaught is just like any other attack; you build up a defense to it through practice." "Therefore," added Gharni, "we should do this more often so that you can build up your strength." Azran rolled his eyes at the convoluted logic in Gharni's joke and chuckled. The three companions laid there for another hour as the blaze quickly consumed the wall of wooden debris and gradually died out in its ashes. Once the way was clear they resumed their journey. The Thalassian Pass wound its way through a mile of narrow valley before coming to a distinctively elfin edifice. The wall would normally have been inviting with its sweeping shapes and open doors, but it was strewn with banners clearly demarcating the presence of the Scourge. A few abandoned and dilapidated meat wagons were scattered about here; their condition giving testament that they had not been used or even moved since the attack upon the Sunwell. Azran, Gharni , Xlandria and Frekaz stopped once they had passed the wall and surveyed the land before them. "The Scourge has done so much damage to this land," said Azran. "Their creeping blight may have moved on, but it has left its mark." "How can you tell," asked Gharni. "I used to live here," said Azran. He paused for a briefly, lost in memory, but soon returned to the moment. "But that was a lifetime ago, literally." To their west the saw an obvious scourge fortress with a motley assortment of crypt fiends, banshees, and necromancers guarding it. At its gates the beginning of The Tainted Scar could be seen. A great furrow in the ground on which no living plants seemed to grow and skeletal creatures wondered about. Though the fortress was populated by many undead none of the scourge guarding it seemed to be strong enough to pose any threat to the trio. Still, they wished to avoid needless combat and there were not likely to be any elfin folk residing there. Gharni suggested they go east so as to avoid the scourge all together but Azran's informed her that they would more likely find only unfriendly forest trolls that way. Instead they traveled north for a time. Azran pointed out the Andilien Estate to Gharni. There were no signs of life in the once proud manor. It now stood only to mark a cross road. Further north they traveled until they came upon the remnants of the town of Tranquilen. It too was deserted and overgrown. "Check out the tower, I'll examine the great hall," said Azran. "Look for signs of anyone having been here recently." The party split up; Xlandria going with Azran and Frekaz following his mistress. Gharni found the tower to be empty save for some shattered chairs and a smashed table. As Gharni stepped out into the open she heard the faint but unmistakable sounds of combat. Stepping around the tower she saw, down a steep hill, a lone, small figure fighting off a group of undead creatures… and losing. "Azran!" Gharni cried out to her companion but saw no sign of him. Knowing that the time to act was short Gharni rushed down the steep hill to aid the embattled elf. The woman (for Gharni could now tell that this fighter was indeed female) was swinging a large war hammer at the shambling minions of the Scourge. They consisted of two deformed ghoulish creatures, two limping corpse with a missing arms, and a shadowy phantasm. The Hunter began to fire a volley of arrows from her bow, littering the undead with a hail of arrows. This quickly got the attention of the four walking corpses. They rushed at the orc who began her retreat. Her move was strategic as the four undead soon found themselves engulfed in flames from the explosive trap Gharni had laid out before hand. A few shots from her bow and Gharni had felled the last of them. Meanwhile the elfin woman, now with only one foe to face, focused all of her attacks upon the phantasm. She brought her war hammer down upon the phantasm in a two-handed, over-head swing. Though the hammer passed through the phantasm the shadowy creature flinched in obvious pain. She reached out with her hands and they flashed with a brilliant, golden light; the phantasm was filled from within by same golden light which ripped through its shadowy form leaving only a smoldering, black husk upon the ground. The undead threat now gone, the two women faced each each other. The elfish paladin raised her hammer at the ready to fight her new opponent, her eyes filled with righteous hatred. Gharni's eyes however were focused on the the glinting ring upon the elfin woman's left hand; a ring of silver with a purple amethyst gem. While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
