With a steady pace the Iop advanced through the pouring mist. The Sacrieur popped up from the water, brushing her hair out of her face. A wild cackle rose in the air.
"Wahahahaha you think that hurt? You numbskull, I've taken harder hits from Xelors. Did you really think…"A finger sternly pointed down, as the Sentinel moved forward. Rian looked and froze. The mark! The water washed off all the blood, turning the spring crimson. Even her hair was losing the brown colour of dried blood, turning back to auburn. Eyes wide she looked up just to see a kick of mind-numbing speed catch her flat in the stomach. Breathless she flew across the stones. But she was still up in seconds, fists up. Punches traded with lightning speed, but the outcome was never in doubt. The Sacrieur could not match the incandescent hatred flowing from the bleached-white eyes of her attacker. A right hook flew, akin to a ballista bolt. It shattered water drops in midair, and landed straight in the temple, sending Rian's teeth rattling. She stumbled into the water, just to have her hair seized and her body dragged through the stones. Towards the Sram."Heal him""What makes you think I…""Or I drown you." She looked up her eyes again meeting those white pools. Rian bit her thumbs and drew a different pattern on the barely breathing Sram's chest. Blood flowed over his body, and under it, flesh rejoined. Bruises faded and breathing returned to normal. The girl's skin grew pale and she began to shiver. Her hands slumped to the side, powerless. Tears forming, she looked up at her attacker. The eyes of the Sentinel regained colour, darkened."That's all I can manage. I'm sorry." she sighted. "Just kill me. The gang will, once they found out I lost or tried to bargain with you." A stern but warm voice came."Just don't go back. It's easy. Stay on the caravan. They will think you got killed, and will stay away." "Thanks, that's… wait a second." The Sacrieur stood up, at a cautious distance from the crouching Iop. "You're just gonna let me live? After all this?" She motioned to the clearing, to the lying Sram. "After what I did to your friend? You aren't just going to forgive me, but protect me?""Yes." The eyes hid nothing; the Sentinel looked right through her, an expression of cold pity. Rian wanted to argue, to mock the yogurt brain's good will, but she knew luck and when to push it. When anemic was not the right time. She briskly walked across the clearing, picking up clothes and started towards the path, when a steely hand seized her wrist. She jumped, her heart sank."Not one word" And she was free. Rian disappeared through the trees, leaving the two alone. Eliandra watched her leave, and then turned back. The amazed Sram was getting up, shivering from the rain of water. The blood magic gave him some composure, and he spoke:"Ellie I'm OOOF-." As a hard punch hit him in the stomach, and he doubled over in pain. Breathless he listened to the scream overhead."Tha… that's for whining, for crying for making fun of me in the forest, for losing that sword, for cuh.. conn-temm-play-ting my destiny" The words hurt. More than the blow, but he grit his teeth and listened. Men didn't run away from their problems."An… and for getting beaten up, and getting knocked up by that… that floozy, and and…"A painful grip on his shoulder pulled him to his feet. He tensed his muscles, ready for another punch. Eyes closed in anxious fear. Something hit his face. Something miniscule, wet and warm. He looked up to see the Iop's huge brown eyes flowing with tears. They dripped down her cheeks and unto him. She sobbed loudly, her voice was breaking."A…and y…you waited for me, night and day. A…and I heard you… And you said you wo…would rather die than lose me." She gripped him tightly, pushing him to her chest. He could feel the warmth of her soft breasts through the silken fabric. He could taste the salt of her tears as they dripped across her neck, down his shoulder. And there was something else. A pounding beat beneath the soft flesh. Her breath tickled his neck. A passionate drumbeat came from beneath the crimson emblem. The air grew warmer, pushing away the moisture. She let the Sram back off a step as her hair dried and began to stream behind her. The two bangs dangled wildly in front."I know we're nowhere near a temple, and… and you aren't formally dressed… and dad gave no permission, a...and…"Zell was taken aback. He realized the train of thought, where she was headed. For a moment he felt small. Not just in stature, but in achievement. A naked little cheater in front of the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. A girl that's saved his life twice now and she wanted to be with him. He had to be stronger. He would be stronger. For her. With a brisk step he closed the distance. His hands reached for her shoulders, past the streaming hair and he planted a soft kiss on her trembling lips. The beat transcended dimensions. It became tangible, like a colour. He could taste it on her lips. He felt her memories, her aspirations. She felt his longing, his ambitions. The inexplicable energy of Wakfu flowed between them, stirring emotion into passion. Their lips broke contact for an instant and hers parted, uttering :"Zell, I'm yours"Deep breath."I give you my heart"While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
