Of course it happened as he said it would. The Kokiri boy grew strong and defeated one of the monsters Ganondorf had placed within his village before he ever saw the vast lands of Hyrule. I watched from the safety of the trees as he met with that girl in the forest. She seemed to know I was there, but as a pregnant creature of the wood, I had nothing to fear from her, unlike Sir Hack-and-Slash, who would cut everything down that crossed his path whether it was friend or foe. Ganondorf kept his promise that time, when it was time for me to deliver my pups, he allowed me to use his room for a den, and stood watch over me for the entire night.
By the time dawn arrived, there were three Wolfos pups, two grey, and one pure white. I still remember the look on Ganondorf's face as he held them the first time. I made fun of him for hours because he looked like a proud papa, despite them being my pups with that strange golden wolf.
"Xenri, I know you understand me, so just nod if you agree. I don't want you mating with that golden wolf anymore. I've heard from a reliable source that he's not on our side, but teaching the Hero how to overcome my power. I couldn't bear it if he hurt you, and since I'm not there when you meet him, I cannot protect you from him." Ganondorf comments, his eyes cold and hardened, no doubt thinking of what would happen if I died. I nod before remembering the affect my heat has on the fortress, and Ganondorf smiles back at me.
"Xenri, You know you can trust me, right?" He begins, unsure by the sound of his voice. I nod.
"Well, I would be willing to help you satisfy your heats. You are my most trusted guard, and my best friend. If I couldn't do that for you, I'd feel bad." His reply makes my own jaw drop. The King of Gerudos is now discussing what is not only taboo among Masters and their servants, but also breeding something of a different species. My expression of shock must have scared him because suddenly Ganondorf looks ashamed.
"Of course I understand if you don't want me to. It's my fault you're in that form after all." Ganondorf comments, prompting me to lick his hand repeatedly. As he begins transforming into Ganon, I look at him with wide eyes and a wrinkled nose.
"Ganon, Please understand, it isn't because of my form that I don't want you. I don't blame you at all. It's just not proper for a man of your power to be seen breeding not only something of a different species, but a servant. I do love you, my King. I always will, but this cannot happen." I whisper back, a soft growling whimper echoing in my throat as if to betray me desires. Ganon looks at me, his soulless eyes betraying pity and despair.
"But I love you too, Xenri. You're always there for me, and I know most of the Gerudo think me a poor ruler for showing such emotion, but you always look up to me. I want to do this for you, because I care so deeply for you." Ganon replies, before melting back into his human form, standing upright and fully conscious this time.
I nod, knowing that this will be the end of our bond as only Master and servant.
