"I should have known better than to trust that rat," Chun-li angrily slapped the CIA file down on the desk.Across the desk, her boss gazed evenly at her, thoughtfully stroking his gray goatee thoughtfully. After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, Chun-li went on.
"There was plenty of stuff on Mad Gear, a little bit about Poison's childhood, but nothing about her current activities or whereabouts."
"Well are there any leads at all?" her boss asked.
"Just one…" Chun-li paused thoughtfully. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, cleared her throat, and continued. "Poison grew up in an orphanage with her ex-partner, another petty criminal named Roxy."
"Who is back in the United States?"
"Actually no," Chun-li said. "I ran her through the system and it turns out she's on staff at another orphanage right here in London."
"That's an awfully convenient coincidence," her boss said. "Is it worth checking out?"
"You know it is," Chun-li said, smiling. Her face was flushed, and she cleared her throat again.
"Ms. Li," her boss paused. "We know you must want to get your ward back. But there's a lot of skepticism around here. Given Ms. White's past associates…"
"Are you saying Cammy… staged her own kidnapping?" Chun-li asked incredulously. Another silent moment passed. "Wait… you don’t think I had anything to do with it?"
"I don’t," said her boss. "But with your recent emotional trauma and your… ah, unusual relationship with Cammy White, people are starting to talk. There's no getting around it."
"I don't believe this!" Chun-li squirmed in her seat.
"Ms. Li, we are coordinating with London police on this," her boss said. He tapped the corner of the file on the desk for emphasis. "I believe you once told Guile that we need to put our duties as officers above personal vendettas. Any sort of vigilantism on your part will only make the situation worse… Are you all right?"
Chun-li's flush had deepened to a dark crimson. Her hands clenched and unclenched in her lap, and she was rocking her legs back and forth.
"Yeah, I just…" she wiped a hand across her forehead. She was sweating profusely. "I need to go… to the… umm… can you excuse me?"
Before her boss could say anything, Chun-li was up out of her chair and fairly sprinting for the door.
"Women," he muttered, watching her bounce out of the office. Chun-li was a fine agent, but often too passionate for her own good. He often wondered if she was just as passionate in other areas, and would break every rule in the book for a chance to find out.
Shaking his head, he turned his attention back to the file.
Chun-li threw open the bathroom stall door with a bang, fumbled with the lock, and braced herself against the side of the stall. She let out a shuddering breath. While talking with her boss, thoughts of her daughter had flooded her mind. They were so vivid and intense, they were more like hallucinations than anything else. She and Cammy were in some kind of mountain temple, and Cammy was hurt.
But then Cammy had started to… and Chun-li looked down and she had grown a…
No matter what, Chun-li couldn’t keep those thoughts from her mind. And she couldn't stop herself from becoming more and more turned on, even there in her boss' office.
Now here in the women's bathroom, she was so fucking hot she could barely stand. It felt like something was stroking her clit, an invisible hand down her panties.
Breathing heavily, she sat down on the toilet. She pressed in her belly with one hand so she could see her groin. She couldn't believe it. Her blue panties had gone dark with pussy juice, the stain spreading even as she watched. Through the fabric she could see the bulge of her large clit quivering up and down.
"What's happening to me?" she whispered. "Ohhh god!" The sensations were building, and she could practically feel Cammy in her mind. It was like she was right there in the stall with her. In her fevered mind, Chun-li imagined somehow that she was inside Cammy, deep inside her daughter's smoking hot pussy.
"Oh my god!" Chun-li screamed helplessly. Pressing her hands out against the sides of the stall, she clenched her teeth and tightened her legs, desperately trying to keep herself from screaming any more.
The orgasm rocked her, and she felt a torrent of spreading wetness as she ejaculated. She uttered a low, moan as stream after stream of thin, milky liquid splashed into the bowl. The stream pulsed with each wave of orgasm, four, five, and six times.
Then it was over. She slumped forward on the seat, put her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands, breathing long and deep. Small drops of cum continued to plink into the water.
Nothing like this had ever happened to her before. Even masturbating on her own, she had never felt such intense emotions. She had certainly never been able to squirt like that before. It was almost like her thoughts and feelings for the past few minutes had come from somewhere outside of herself.
Was it possible that Poison was trying to re-brainwash Cammy? Based on what Chun-li remembered from the dojo, it was a distinct possibility.
Before this mess started, Chun-li had been working extensively with Cammy, helping her build up newer and stronger mental defenses. If Poison was trying to attack Cammy's mind using old Shadaloo tech, a surge of what Bison called "psycho power" might have briefly caused their minds to brush together.
But now the contact was broken. Try as she might, Chun-li couldn't feel Cammy anymore at all. Unrolling some toilet paper, she wiped herself dry as best she could. Out in the hall, she looked back towards her boss' office. Then towards the large, glowing "Exit" sign.
Two minutes later she was down on the street, hailing a cab.
Roxy and Poison could have been sisters. Hell, Chun-li thought, staring across the desk, they could be twins. The only difference was that Roxy had natural, flaming red hair, instead of Poison's dyed-pink hair. And there were their eyes; Poison looked hungry. Roxy just looked haunted.
Roxy's small administrative office faced the inner courtyard of the orphanage. Outside, in the setting sun, the children were playing. Their muffled laughter echoed off the courtyard walls.
Roxy lit another cigarette and slid the pack across the desk. Chun-li shook her head. Roxy shrugged, inhaled, and blew a thin stream of smoke up towards the ceiling.
"You wanna know where she is?" Roxy's voice was deeper than Poison's. "She runs a little fight club across town. One of those underground deals everyone knows about but nobody talks about."
"I haven't heard anything about it. Why haven't the police already shut it down?" Chun-li asked.
"You're asking me?" Roxy looked incredulous. "You're the cop! She's got contacts, informants. She knows when to lay low." Chun-li waited a moment before answering.
"That was too easy," she said. "No interrogation, no tough girl routine from you. I think we'd better try again."
"You think I'm feeding you a bunch of crap?" Roxy's voice was incredulous. "That it's a trap or something, right?"
"I'm just saying, you gave up your lifelong partner without much prompting," Chun-li said.
"She's not my partner," Roxy's voice sharpened. "Poison doesn’t have partners. You need loyalty to have partners. And Poison's why I'm stuck in this." Roxy rolled her chair out from behind her desk. Her left foot was in a cast up to her knee.
"I fight at the club sometimes, raise money for the kids," she said. "I know, oldest story in the book, right? Anyway, sometimes Poison gets me a good draw, when the stakes are right, you know? But lately she's been taking way too much of a cut from fighters' winnings.
"We had an argument about it and… next match, she switched my opponent at the last second. Some giant named Helga. Before I could do anything, she broke my ankle like it was nothing. No fight, no match, just a little lesson for the other fighters." Roxy paused. "It coulda been worse. Sometimes Poison books fights to the finish."
"To the finish?" Chun-li asked.
"You know what I mean," Roxy replied. "She's totally nuts, you know. I don't think she really cares about anyone. She certainly doesn’t care about killing."
"But the CIA file on you says you've been best friends since you were children!" Chun-li said.
"Well, Poison's more of a sister than a friend. And even if you love your family, there's nothing that says you gotta like 'em, or even tolerate 'em," Roxy stubbed out her cigarette butt.
"Like you said, we grew up together. Life as an orphan isn't easy, but Poison had it harder than anyone. All the other girls made fun of her because of her… condition. She's never been one or the other. She was born with both sets of plumbing, is what I mean. The Sisters that ran the place knew about it, and you know how good nuns are at making you feel all warm and fuzzy about yourself," Roxy said with a sarcastic smile.
"So Poison would… lash out. She got in fights, and I mean real fights. No slapping or hair-pulling, she'd go for the fuckin' throat.
"But when we hit about thirteen, it got even worse. Fighting seemed to… you know, get her going," Roxy lit another cigarette. "After a fight, at night in the dorms, she'd come over and get in bed with me. We really didn’t know about the birds and bees, but we knew what felt good.
"I was as horny as the next teenager, but the problem was Poison would do stuff to me whether I wanted her to or not. If I didn’t do what she wanted, she'd get me the next day. She had these long fingernails, see, and she'd… scratch up inside of you, so it hurt to go to the bathroom."
"My god," Chun-li whispered.
"It was easier later, when she got more girls in on it," Roxy said. "I mean, Poison had a thing, you know, and all the girls that used to make fun of her. When they all started getting boyfriends, Poison told 'em they could practice on her, you know? And them that did it were trapped, cause then she could tell the Sisters on 'em.
"So she was barely a teenager and she was using these girls' feelings against 'em. Sex as a weapon, you know? Eventually something had to give. This one time she and this other girl had a huge fight over some boy. We had just turned eighteen, me and Poison had, and we were already doing small-time jobs for the Gear, but still staying at the orphanage.
"Poison was already like a legend there, and the other girls looked up to her and were scared shitless of her at the same time. Anyway she and this girl get into it, I think it was because this guy named Bred or something knocked the girl up, you know, but Poison had her eye on him.
"But the dumb cunt said she was gonna go to the Sisters and tell them it was Poison who had gotten her pregnant, and since she was only like, 15, it would send Poison to jail.
"So when the Sisters told us the girl tripped, fell down the fire escape and broke her neck, we all knew what had really happened," Roxy shuddered. "It was like… we didn’t want to believe it but, we all knew Poison, and you sorta couldn’t help but believe it."
"Are you saying she murdered that girl?" Chun-li asked.
"I'm saying this, and I said all that to get to this," Roxy stubbed out her cigarette again. "Poison lives in a different world than the rest of us. She absolutely does not care about anyone else. Remember how I said fighting used to get her going? It's like an obsession with her. It's like she wants to mark her territory or something.
"The night I got my ankle broken, they hauled me up to her little booth and she…" Roxy shuddered and rubbed her eyes. When she looked again at Chun-li, it was obvious she was holding back tears.
"You'd think it would get easier, as long as I've known her, but it don't. She's even made me watch her, you know? I've sat up there in her little private booth, and watched her jack it as the fighters beat each other to death." Roxy leaned back in her chair.
Chun-li shuddered at her own memory of the dojo just the other night… no doubt about it, Poison was ready to have Helga kill her.
"And that's why Poison isn't my partner," Roxy said. "And I love her to death, even now, you know? That's pretty sick, isn't it? But even so… I think she needs to be stopped. Especially if the rumors are true."
"What rumors?" Chun-li asked.
"Word is on the street that she somehow got hold of some of M. Bison's old Shadaloo stuff. Anyone who tries to crack that place, she might have some brainwashed assassin to snap their neck before they even…"
Chun-li's face had gone pale white. Roxy raised an eyebrow.
"Poison kidnapped my adopted daughter," Chun-li finally said. "The girl used to be one of Bison's assassins."
"Jesus," Roxy whispered, putting her hand over her mouth. "Damn." She pulled out a pad of paper and wrote down an address. "The club is here, underground. There's another round of fights tonight."
Chun-li stood up and took the paper. She looked out into the courtyard. The children had gone inside. The shadows were lengthening; the sun was almost down. Would it be tonight? Chun-li thought. Would Poison send Cammy out to kill… or to die?
Either thought was unbearable.
And this was different, no matter what her boss said. This wasn't vengeance for a crime long done. This was about prevention, about preservation. She couldn’t save her father, all those years ago. But she had the power to save her daughter.
No matter what.
