Chapter 8: Over A Glass Of Milk
She was awoken by something hard that was insistently pressing up between her buttocks. And a body behind her. A naked body. Arms around her. A soft fringe brushed against her temple when a kiss was placed on her cheek.
“Link,” she mumbled with a sleepy voice. “What are you doing here?”
“This is my house. I live here.”
His voice was a suitable, early morning-soft. Just the sound of it sent tingles down her spine. “You live at the castle now.”
“It’s still my house. And my bed. So, what are you doing here?”
“Does it matter?”
“Nah...”
She smiled and sighed when his hands started a familiar path over her body. One hand slid up to her neck, guiding her head his way so they could kiss. The other one tantalizingly travelled down, tickling at her skin and piquing her still dormant nerves. Meanwhile, the hardness behind her – anything but dormant – stirred, trying to find its way in between her legs. She slid one leg forward, pressing her bottom back to accommodate its pressing urgency. He grunted approvingly at her invitation, trailing his lips to her jaw and up to her earlobe. Smoothly gliding his hand around her thigh, he eased her leg up a bit and easily pushed inside. She moaned, but then a vision of a disproportionately stretched out pussy popped in front of her eyes. “No!” she yelled. “You shouldn’t make me pregnant yet!” In a bit of a panic, she wondered where she’d put the yellowish flappy thingies Purah had given her, but out of nowhere, there was already one in her hand. Relieved, she lifted her leg and slipped it under. “Put his on.”
“On what?”
“Your penis!”
Link briefly slipped out again.
“Is it on?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure? That was awfully quick.”
“It’s on.”
Zelda bent forward, almost folding in two. She honestly didn’t know she had such supple joints. In between her legs, she saw the thin film stretched out over the little head. “Okay, proceed,” she said, spooning comfortably up against him again.
“Must you make it sound like a military drill?” There was amusement in his voice.
She chuckled, changing her tone to lascivious and sugary sweet. “Sorry. Please make hot love to me.” Wiggling her hips, she readied her bottom lips for his re-entry. His hand, callused from battle, gripped firmly at the plump flesh of her thigh, and she pressed her head back against his shoulder when he once again penetrated her warm folds. She couldn’t get enough of this. She felt his heart pounding against her back, the same way she could feel it throbbing down between her legs. His pace was slow and leisurely, his thrusts still shallow, not wanting to shock her right away into vehement emotions after her peaceful slumber. She let out a long, enjoyable purr. Eyes that were drifting half shut trailed off to the ground floor of the house. Somehow, she couldn’t shake this feeling, even though she didn’t see anything, that there was another presence there.
“A little birdy told me you got a bit naughty in my bed last night,” he grunted in her ear.
She laughed softly. “Didn’t know you could communicate with animals.” Then she gasped when the hand on her thigh moved around, touching softly on her pubic mound and teasing a bit there.
“I can do all sorts of things.”
Well, of course he could, Zelda thought. He was perfect after all, wasn’t he? Like the way his fingers crept down and exactly knew how to press her button. That button. A high pitched sound of delight drifted out on a surprised exhale. The fingers started playing with it, the same moment his hips sped up a bit, and she bit her lip. It made the question of whether he could or could not communicate with animals of extremely little importance.
She smiled when he lapped at her earlobe, nibbling along her ear shell. Her senses awakened now, she tilted her pelvis back to urge him on more. Turning her head for more of his kisses, she quickly found herself with a mouthful of warm, quivering tongue, and she greedily reciprocated, hungry for more of his taste. “Hmm… Link...” she whined. “I’m so happy you came to visit. I’ve been missing you already.”
“Then don’t send me away,” he murmured against her mouth.
“I won’t,” Zelda said in between ardent kisses. “I’ll never let you leave my side again for such a long time.”
“I’ve missed you too,” Link said, and he demonstrated this by really putting his dreamy body to work now. She moaned, enjoying how her ovaries sent jolts through her belly. A hand shot behind her onto his buttocks, spurring him on.
“Mm… Yes, more!” she urged. Moaning loudly, she felt her eyes rolling back a bit. It was then that she noticed that… Someone seemed to be standing by the bedside. This other presence she had felt earlier. She glanced up. To her surprise, this person looked like Link. How could this be? Link was giving it his all behind her. Then was the one in the bed not Link? But he smelled like Link, felt like Link. He moved like Link.
Could…?
Could there be two Links? Could she possibly live in a world where two Links existed? To be loved by two Links?
She looked again. The figure next to the bed was wearing Link’s hooded cloak. It must’ve been him. “Link… Come… Come join us,” she mumbled. She reached out her hand, but she couldn’t quite get a hold of him. If anything, he seemed to be shying away from her. He said something, but she couldn’t quite understand. Didn’t matter. “I said… Come here!”
Cassian squealed when he was dragged into the bed. Zelda – as in the Queen, his superior Zelda – was clinging to him, plucking at his clothes. Her eyes were half open, but she didn’t seem to realise what she was doing. He had to stop this from happening.
“Your Majesty, you really shouldn’t do this,” Cassian said, trying to pry her hands off of him as firmly as he dared.
“Ooh, ‘Your Majesty’. Do you wanna do some role-playing again? Like the other night, when you wanted to punish your Queen? Are you gonna use your twig again?”
To Cassian’s horror, the blanket was sliding down, and he quickly shielded his eyes. Through his fingers, he could see her face. She looked worried and annoyed at how he was averting his eyes from her. “I think I’ll go now. If I can,” he said, turning away. But when he tried to get up, she grabbed his clothes and tugged him back down.
“What’s the matter with you?” He could hear the pout in her voice. “Come to bed. Look at your wife to be.”
“Your Majesty, you should stop now! It’s me, Cassian!”
Alarmed by all the drama, Boy had come running up the stairs. He started to bark wildly, and this seemed to wake her up properly.
Zelda blinked a couple of times, trying to get a clear vision. First there was confused recognition, then shocking horror. Her eyes shot open, and at once, she was wide awake. And also very much aware of how her breasts were visible. “Oh dear Heavens, Cassian! Don’t look!” she howled, dragging the blanket back over her naked figure.
Cassian was almost crying with misery. “I’m not!” he said, turning his face as far away from her as possible and at last springing to his feet. Boy too had his chin to the floor, his paws pressed firmly over his eyes, letting out an embarrassed whine.
“I’m so terribly sorry!” Zelda bleated.
“I just meant to inform you that… There’s breakfast,” Cassian stammered.
“Right… Thank you.” She was burning with embarrassment so hard, that she thought that she would melt right through the mattress. She wanted to melt through the mattress, that would’ve been so lovely right now.
While Cassian fled to safety from her claws, she sat up in the bed, staring blankly ahead. There were two things she could do now. She could sit there until she would turn to a statue. Or she could get up, head downstairs, maybe grab a bite to eat, and face whatever was coming. Her growling stomach preferred the latter. Dreamsex makes one hungry, apparently.
She quickly slid into her panties and some basic undergarment, but the corset would prove to be a problem. It would be impossible to get into it on her own. She briefly thought about leaving it off, but then she changed her mind again. Other than supporting her bosom against gravity, it would also provide an extra layer against the cold. Asking Cassian to help her with it would be out of the question now. Purah. She’d send Cassian to get Purah. After breakfast.
When she came downstairs, it was hard to pretend like nothing had happened just now, but if they were to continue their journey together, there really wasn’t much of a choice. There was no way to undo what had just happened, and that was that. With the aloofness that was expected of a subordinate, but surely also properly embarrassed, Cassian stood at the side to let her eat. Without looking at him, she sat herself down.
“You’re welcome to join me,” she offered.
“It’s fine, I’ll eat after you.”
“I don’t like to eat alone. Come sit with me.”
“Do you really think that’s a good idea?”
Zelda tisked and sighed. What was it with men feeling iffy about eating with her? Attempted molestation aside. She looked straight at him now, pointing from him to the stool opposite her. “Sit. Down,” she said. “That’s an order.” With her gaze still firmly on him, she watched him shuffling towards the table. “Eat. We have another long journey ahead of us.” She waited until he’d taken a bread roll before she took one herself. “Did you make it?”
“No,” he said. “It was in a basket at the door.”
The bread roll dropped onto her plate. “From who?”
“No idea. There was just a knock on the door, and when I opened it, our benefactor was already gone. Let’s just enjoy it.” He caught her weary look. Being a Queen, there was a risk, however small, of it being poisoned. Although they both had to admit, it did look scrumptious. And it smelled divine! There were fresh bread rolls, cured meat, fruit juice, something that looked like apple preserve, cheese and butter.
“I already tasted it, there’s nothing wrong with it,” Cassian said with a careful smile, his smile growing broader when she instantly dug in, all queenly manners forgotten. There was a most charming blush on her cheeks. While she ate, he still tried to avoid eye contact. Because he thought that she stuffing her face may have been her way to stop communication for a bit too. Taking a big bite from his bread, he chewed slowly. It was highly impolite to talk with his mouth full, so the more he chewed, the less he could talk.
“This incident…” she eventually mumbled from behind her hand. “Let’s not speak about it to anyone.”
Cassian quickly swallowed whatever he had in his mouth at that moment. “No, not to anyone,” he readily agreed.
“I mistook you for Link.”
“Obviously.”
“I’m sorry.”
“No, I’m sorry. I just should’ve waited for you to come downstairs, but… the bread was still a bit warm, and… It’s just tastier that way.”
After that, there was another awkward silence between them for a while, until Boy acted as some sort of conciliator. He came at the table with a hungry whine.
“Right, how could I forget? Something came for you too,” Cassian said, happy for an opportunity to leave the table again. He went to get a bowl and set it down in front of Boy. It was a cooked meal, with meat, rice and vegetables. It even had a card, that said ‘for Boy’, and a drawing of a smiling face.
“You think it’s from Purah?” Zelda wondered, eyeing the card. “A last meal before she’ll start her experiment?”
“You make it sound like he won’t survive.”
“I’m joking,” she said, and then to Boy too, who seemed to be scowling a bit over his bowl of food. “Boy, I’m joking. Of course it will all go well.”
By the end of breakfast, the mood had lifted again. Mostly. And most importantly, no one had started to show any signs of potential food poisoning, which was good. Then again, Zelda assumed that someone who knew their wolf by name and drew smiling faces couldn’t possibly bring them food that had been tampered with.
There was still the matter of her corset. “Can you go see if Purah’s busy? And if she’s not, can you bring her here? I need her to help me with my corset.”
“As you wish. Shall I heat some water first, so you can have a quick wash?”
“Yes, thank you.”
When Zelda was done, she retrieved the blanket from Link’s bed, wrapping it around her. A security blanket in the most literal sense of the word. Shortly after, there was a knock on the door. When she answered it, Cassian was at the other side, panting like he had just run a marathon. “Your Majesty, lady Purah,” he heaved, leaning his hands on his thighs.
Purah reached out against the doorpost in shock. “Lady? The man is well bred. Can you say that again when Robbie’s within earshot?”
Zelda made a funny face. “What’s with you?” she said to Cassian, and then to Purah: “And why are you so giddy?”
“There’s snow! I sled down the hill on Cassian’s shield. It was fun!”
“I could barely keep up with her. Stamina is not what it used to be.”
This woman… Just invented something that would drastically increase the amount of sex people would be able to have... and now she’d sled down the hill, looking all pink and gleeful about it.
“I will prepare the horses,” Cassian puffed, having somewhat recomposed himself.
Giggling, Purah stepped inside. “So, Cassian told me you needed help to get dressed.”
Zelda retracted her head from the crack of the still open door. Indeed, it had been snowing, but right now, there was a stunning dawn, with the most beautiful vibrant pink and orange she had ever seen. And still cold. She quickly shut the door again, suppressing a shiver. “Yes, my corset.”
They both went upstairs, and once there, Purah settled herself behind Zelda on the bed. “How was your night?”
Oh, excellent, Zelda grimly thought to herself. Made love to Link’s skin flakes, then I mistook Cassian for Link, and forced myself on him. “Fine,” she mumbled. “So, what are you going to call your latest invention?” she quickly added, finding it safest to change the subject.
“Yes, me and Symin have been brainstorming about that. We were thinking along the lines of ‘willysleeve’.”
“Oh, I like that.”
“Good, yes?”
“It encapsulates the concept perfectly.”
“Willysleeve it is, then.”
Zelda winced a bit when Purah drew her corset tight. But it was good for her posture. “Thanks for dinner last night. It was delicious.”
“Thank you, although I didn’t make it. It were leftovers from Ivee, she’s a very good cook, and she always makes too much. She often brings us breakfast too. I see she’s made one for you too this morning.”
Zelda looked over the bannister down to the table. The remnants of breakfast were still on it. “Did Ivee do this?” Explained the drawing of the smiling face.
“By the looks of it, yes, that seems to be her work. She must’ve seen the smoke that was coming out of the chimney. Go thank her for it before you leave. And be nice to her.”
“Yes, Purah.”
“I will hear about it if you’re not.”
“I’ll give her a chance.”
Zelda inhaled deeply when she sat up on her horse, ready to head for the East Wind again. She let go of the air in her lungs with an audible sigh. “The air smells so different here. So much more… fresh and vibrant.”
“Do you like it?” Purah said.
“It’s different. I can’t say I dislike it.” As much as she hated to admit it, Ivee was right: she ought to leave Castle town a bit more often.
Zelda narrowed her eyes when she noticed how Purah was heading in the same direction. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but are you joining us just to make sure I won’t be bitchy to her?”
“You are wrong,” Purah stated simply. “I need to discuss prizes and commission fees with her father for the willysleeves. Once we can produce them on a grander scale, we can sell them at the East Wind.” She politely brushed away Cassian’s offer to ride on his horse with him. “No thank you, dear, I’ll walk. Could it be that you’re so bitchy towards Ivee because you’re in fact envious of her?” she continued to Zelda.
Zelda let out a sound of astonishment. “Envious?”
“Yes. Because she doesn’t have to rule a Kingdom. Because her greatest concern is whether this herb is a great match with that vegetable?”
Zelda sighed. Why must that woman have such a keen eye? She had been born into this Royal life, it had all been force fed to her. And indeed, there had been times, even though she loved her parents dearly, when she had cursed her lineage. But at least it had got her Link. “I don’t want to talk about this right now,” she concluded.
“Fine.”
They continued their walk in silence, except for Purah’s cheerful humming and some occasional drollery with Boy. Zelda smiled. He would be in good hands with her.
When they arrived at the East Wind, Ivee was just opening shop for the day. She greeted them with a polite nod. “Your Majesty, how lovely to see you again. How can I be of… Hey, Boy!” she said, when Boy pressed his snout to her hip. “Did you enjoy your breakfast?”
Boy nodded his head. The look he gave her was one of pure love.
She cleared her throat. “Sorry. How can I be of service to you?”
Zelda’s lips curled up into a smile, but only just. She wouldn’t be too generous with her friendliness just yet. “I came to thank you for breakfast. I gathered that was yours?”
“Ah yes. Azu told me that he’d seen you entering Link’s house, last night when he came home from his friend. So I figured you’d be staying here. And it was my pleasure. Do you have time to come in for a bit?”
“Don’t you have to attract customers?”
“I can do that,” Cassian offered.
Ivee looked from Cassian back to her. Her eyes were inviting and kind. Sincere. Zelda decided to accept her offer, to sit down for an adult conversation, and she elegantly swung off her horse. Although, being a country girl, she was sure that Ivee could do the same. She waited until Ivee had reached the door, and then she leaned over to Purah. “You think she’s mocking me?” she hissed.
Purah rolled her eyes. “Zelda, please. You have to know what you want. Yesterday you found her rude, and now that she’s being respectful, you think she’s mocking you.”
Zelda sniffed and straightened again. “You’re right.” She was even waiting at the door to let her go in first.
“Queen Zelda!” her little brother said with the appropriate amount of wonder, when she set foot into the shop. With big eyes, he looked her up and down.
“Azu, stop that,” Ivee said.
“I’m gonna go tell my friend that Queen Zelda is here!”
“No, you’re not! You have to get ready for school.”
Laughing softly, Zelda knelt down in front of the boy. “Azu, wasn’t it? You were a great Octorok during the play.”
The boy froze, wide eyed and his mouth open in shock. Then he spun around and dashed towards his mother. “Mum, Queen Zelda remembered I played an Octorok!”
They used the opportunity to slip into one of the backrooms. Ivee gestured to sit down, and Zelda did. “Did you sleep well, in Link’s bed?”
Zelda tried very hard not to grimace. Dreamed about having a threesome with Link and… No! her mind yelled at her. Don’t go there! She felt her cheeks flushing, and she was happy that she could blame it on the cold. “I slept quite alright, yes,” she said, letting out a little cough.
“Can I get you anything?”
“Oh, please don’t bother.”
But Ivee was already on her way to the cupboard to get some glasses. “I can really recommend our Hateno sheep milk though. It’s very good for you. Go on, try.”
Zelda took a careful sip. “Hmm… different.” She then set her glass on the table and sighed. The next bit would require some magnanimity. Something that was normally one of her fortes, but as for this girl, she was still coming to terms with how she should be seeing her as a friend instead of a threat. “I need to apologize.”
Ivee frowned. “You, apologize? To me?” She idly stroked Boy’s head when he went lying at her feet.
“Yes. I kinda hated you because I thought you were after Link too.”
“Well, of course I was.”
Just like that, after hearing such a bluntly straightforward reply, Zelda felt her jealousy flaring up again. She wondered if maybe it had been a mistake to try and become friends with her. And then she recalled Purah’s words. Ignorant flippancy of youth. She decided she’d hear her out. If anything, she should appreciate her honesty.
“He’s gorgeous, isn’t he? And since he was in your service and you were his superior, I had kinda hoped that it wouldn’t have been allowed for you two to hook up. But the look on his face when he talked about you made it clear to me that...” She pulled up her shoulders in a defeated gesture. “He was devoted to you. Not just professionally.”
“Really?”
“Oh yeah.”
To her surprise, Zelda felt moved when the glitter in Ivee’s eyes made place for sadness.
“You know, you’ve had it easy, didn’t you?” Ivee said, taking a drink from her glass of milk. “You’ve found your needle in the haystack, your one in a million, and you didn’t even have to do anything for it. Link has been presented to you on a silver platter, so to speak.”
“That’s not true,” Zelda said, gently. “For me, it was just the same like for anyone else, in that way that it was a chance meeting. Fate. It was Link who happened to become my appointed knight, but he may just have been an eyesore twice my age.”
Ivee put a finger to her bottom lip, giving that some thought. “I guess you’re right about that.” She leaned back a bit, crossing one leg over the other. “See, I’m not gonna lie. If he would’ve picked me, that would’ve been totally awesome, of course. And while that wasn’t completely unrealistic, I knew that it was a small chance. Like micro, nano small.” She shrugged. “So yeah, it’s cool. Maybe, one day, I’ll find someone like him.” While she said it, she knew that that was quite impossible. People only had one doppelgänger, right? And if Cassian was his doppelgänger, and he was already taken, then that was it. She blew out a sigh. “You know, looks aren’t everything,” she mumbled.
“It will come for you too,” Zelda smiled, more generously now. “I’m happy we had this conversation.”
“Me too,” Ivee said, pointing at Zelda’s barely touched glass of milk. “Finish your milk. Or don’t you like it?”
Zelda eyed her glass. “Like I said, it’s different.”
“I know, it’s an acquired taste. But it’s very nutritious, you’ll need it in this cold weather.”
Zelda ran a hand through her hair and looked at the glass in front of her as if she was up against some drinking challenge. She supposed that if she drank really quickly, she wouldn’t really taste it. With an air of courage, she took the glass and did a bottoms up. Well, that hadn’t been so bad. After she’d proudly put her glass back on the table, she wondered why Ivee was looking at her with such an idiotic grin on her face. “What?”
“You have a… milk moustache.”
Taking a handkerchief and pressing it to her mouth, Zelda tried to picture herself with a milk moustache. And then she laughed. Laughed and stared at Ivee with big eyes.
Ivee looked behind her, then checked her clothes to see if there were stains or something. Zelda was looking at her quite funnily. “What?”
“Nothing,” Zelda said, still laughing. She had been so wrong about this girl. Her jealousy had blinded her. For no reason at all. This had been ridiculous. She had been ridiculous. From now on, she would no longer waste her energy on such petty things as spite towards this girl.
Suddenly, they heard Pruce over in the other room. “Commission? Our daughter brings you food, and you still want a commission, you stingy woman!”
Zelda and Ivee exchanged a look. “I think we need to step in,” Zelda decided.
“I think so too.”
“Ah Pruce, you’re back. Sugar. This girl wants sugar. Weigh her some.” It was Amira who was minding the store now, while Pruce had been in the middle of negotiations. She looked flustered and was floundering about behind the counter, with all the female customers Cassian had attracted. Even though she looked a bit overwhelmed by this sudden increase of clientele, of course she was happy with the commerce. “Can we keep him?” she asked to Zelda, with a nod towards Cassian.
Zelda chuckled. “I’m afraid I’ll still be needing him.”
Purah was watching it all with a broad smile on her face. In the end, she’d got her commission. After Zelda and Ivee’s intervention, Pruce had had no other choice. “Thanks for coming to my aid,” she said to the two young women. “Although I had it all under control.”
“I’m sure you did,” Zelda sniggered. “But no, seeing how major your new invention is, you really do deserve a commission.”
“Yes, and the meals I sometimes make for you are completely selfless, I don’t expect anything in return for them,” Ivee added.
“You both have my eternal gratitude.” She started heading for the door, but then swivelled around again. “Oh right, Zelda, could you do me a favour?”
“Yes?”
“When Link comes back, tell him to come visit me. If my suspicion about Boy is right, then I will need his assistance.”
“His assistance?”
“Yes, I won’t elaborate yet.” With a little hop and an excited hand clap, she pattered over to Boy. “So Boy, are you ready for the experiment?”
“Experiment?” Ivee inquired. “What are you gonna do with him?”
“It’s a secret,” Purah said.
“Will I still see him again?”
“You will see him again.”
“Alive?”
Boy barked. It was hard to tell whether he was laughing or fearing for his life. Purah tisked. “Yes, alive.”
“I’m with Ivee on this, Purah,” Zelda said. “Forgive me, but, please don’t screw it up.”
“Of course not, Link would kill me. Look, don’t worry. If it does go awry, then there won’t be any damage.” The two girls didn’t seem convinced yet. “Trust me. Boy, do you trust me?”
This time, Boy’s bark was positively optimistic.
“Let’s go, then!”
Zelda had her head in the clouds a bit when they were en route again. The visit to Impa had been good, but short, and nothing to write home about. She guessed that they would be back home somewhere in the afternoon. Above all, she was glad that she’d been able to clear the air with Ivee. She had left Hateno village with a good feeling. She didn’t know if they’d ever become besties, but at least she would worry less now on times where Link would head out on his own. Although her mind still lingered on something that had been said the day before.
Every now and then, she looked around to see where Boy was, but then she remembered that he wouldn’t be with them for a while. She really was very curious about Purah’s plans for him, and she couldn’t wait to see the result.
“Your Majesty,” Cassian suddenly said next to her.
Smiling, she turned her head. “Yes?”
“I don’t know if now is a good time to discuss this with you but... has Master Link told you about how I would get to use his eh… his Master Cycle...”
“Oh yes, his motorised unicorn,” Zelda nodded. “Yes, he has indeed informed me about it. I suppose when we get back, you could take it for a spin.”
“Nice,” Cassian grinned.
“Be very careful with it.”
“I will.” He frowned when he saw her pondering face. “Is there something wrong, your Majesty? You look a bit worried.”
Zelda sighed and pursed her lips. “I think I want to go pay a visit to the Tipsy Deity. Incognito. And you, you have to keep your hood on, so they will think you are Link. I want to see their reaction.”
When they arrived back at the castle, at first, they hadn’t recognised the woman who was waiting for them in the living quarters. “Liselle!” Zelda gasped. “Goodness, your dress is ready! You look stunning!”
“Don’t I just?” Liselle cheered, twirling around. “If you would forgive my immodesty.” She looked down at her dress, running her hands over the rich, deep green fabric. “Cassian, look!”
Cassian blinked a couple of times. “Wow,” he said with a little, impressed laugh. “Classy.”
“Hm-hm,” Liselle nodded. “The tailor came with it yesterday evening. You know, I was so delighted I hardly even missed you.”
“Liselle, don’t be like that,” Zelda tutted. “It was a unanimous decision to stay in Hateno village last night. In fact, I think there may be something to cheer you up.”
“Oh really?”
“Yes. But I’m afraid you’re gonna have to take that dress off, though. Don’t wanna get it dirty, do you?”
Liselle squealed when Cassian let the engine roar, tightening her arms around him. “Is it really okay, Zelda?” Liselle shouted over the noise from the Master Cycle Zero. “For us to ride the motorcycle together?”
“Yes, Link has requested to keep her engine running during his absence. Although Cassian, go slow at first, okay?”
“Of course, your Majesty. Just like...” Sex, he wanted to say. Better not. He coughed awkwardly. “Just as you wish.” Liselle made a funny peeping sound behind him when the motorcycle shot forward with a jolt.
“Careful!” she screeched.
“Stop bleating in my ear, woman!”
Zelda held her breath while she was watching them. She understood the importance of this motorcycle to Link, and so she had decided that Liselle could sit at the back. Cassian would be so much more careful that way. Her heart jumped up into her throat when he swivelled a couple of times, but then he regained his balance, and he continued with more confidence. She turned along as they circled the courtyard, just like a sunflower that would follow the sun. After a few laps, Liselle was howling with laughter, and it made her smile. While she was standing there, she was getting to be quite excited about visiting the Tipsy Deity that evening. Link had said that there was a tavern too. They could have drinks there, have a meal. Have fun. When her parents were still alive, there had been many things that had not fitted into their Royal lifestyle. Going out had been one of them. Letting loose. She wasn’t really sure she would be able to do that. But she was curious about it. And she was pretty sure that Cassian and Liselle did know how to have fun. That thought made her highly impatient for it now, and she started to signal for Cassian to stop driving. But so lost in this rush of controlling the Master Cycle Zero, it took him another few laps to notice. When he at last pulled to a stop, Liselle was all shaking with adrenaline.
“That was fun,” she gasped, her eyes shining. “You think we can do it again some time?”
“Maybe later this week,” Cassian said, although his eyes told her that he was already looking forward to a different kind of fun. Giggling, she joined him when he went to put the motorcycle away, a hand already loosely on his butt. Once they were in the privacy of the annex and Cassian had put the motorcycle on his stand, her hands were all over him. “I’ve missed you last night,” she moaned.
“I’ve missed you too,” Cassian growled, hands grappling under her petticoat, sitting her down on the motorcycle seat. “But it wasn’t safe any more tot still travel, and too cold.”
“You know I’m always here to heat you up again.” She drew him closer, in between her knees.
“Such slutty talk for a lady-in-waiting.”
“Liselle, Cassian!” Zelda suddenly bellowed behind them. “Surely, you weren’t thinking of getting down and dirty on Link’s Master Cycle Hero?”
They jumped up, standing away from Link’s motorcycle like naughty school children. “Forgive me, but I do believe it’s Master Cycle Zero,” Cassian mumbled, his head down.
“Whatever!”
They both stayed silent. Zelda was about to have her periods. Now was not a good time to get cross with her.
Zelda huffed out a sigh. “For once, I shall condone it. Liselle, go prepare me some plain clothes, as plain as you can find.”
“Right away,” Liselle said, scurrying off.
Zelda then sidled up next to Cassian. “Let’s call it even for what happened this morning, okay?”
“Thank you, your Majesty, you’re too kind.”
“Indeed, I am. Next time, you won’t get off so easy.”
“I swear I did not see a thing, this morning. You know of...” He gestured awkwardly around his chest area.
“I think you’d better stop talking now.”
“Yes, your Majesty.”
To be continued…
Author's Note: So, I got this idea of doing a little side story (almost wrote 'side dish' >_< Yeah, I like to eat.) about Boy. It’s going to be lovely ^_^
