Protecting the Weak
Chapter 1
The sky was
a brilliant blue and the sun shone brilliantly, bathing the area with light,
but underneath the thick broths of Duskwood the sunlight
barely made its way to the ground. In
the heavy gloom of the forest a single path wound through the trees like a
snake. Due to the hard work of the
patrolling guards the path was safe for all travel, even unarmed merchants and
the occasional weak adventurer. Taking
advantage of this protection two women jogged down the dirt road, small puffs
of dust raising from mail boots with each step.
The woman
on the left was a tall human dressed in the gold brushed mail of a paladin and
carrying a large two handed hammer with one hand at the moment. Long blond hair spilled from her head across
creamy white skin and was gathered at the back of his neck with a leather
thong. Several strand of the hair had
escaped from the ponytail and fell over one of her crystal clear blue
eyes. She was built on the larger side,
not with fat but hard muscles, with wide shoulders, a large but firm butt, and
sizable breasts that would make any mans dream.
Her
companion was a night elf warrior, dressed in glittering silver mail and
carrying a long sword in her right hand and wearing a small round shield on her
left arm. Her skin was a delicate light
blue color and stood in stark contrast to her shoulder length dark blue
hair. Black eyes glittered in her face,
both with the happiness of being on the road and innocence. She was built smaller than her companion with
a curving hourglass figure and small but firm breasts.
The two
woman were both beautiful but also carried the wonderful innocence of
adventures that hadn’t spent many years living by their wits and weapons. Together they stepped into the town of Darkshire
and looked around with badly concealed excitement, doing all they could not to
stare like newcomers.
“Isn’t it
wonderful Alendra?”
Asked the blue hared warrior, not able to mask the
wonder in her voice. She was the
less experienced of the two, even though she was older, most of her years had
been spent in the Night Elf home forests.
The two had met only a few months ago just as both were starting their
adventures and traveled together ever since.
“Kind of
gloomy unless you were born in the trees, Telssa.” Complained Alendra, her gaze more on the overhanging tree branches
than the buildings around them.
“I don’t see how you Elves can live out of the sun all the time.” Telssa smiled as
her friend complained. She had learned
that Alendra liked to grumble even if nothing was
much wrong and it usually meant that she was in a good mood. It was when she went silent that there was
something very wrong.
“How about
I buy you a drink?”
“Better be
a big drink.” However, that was her last
complaint as the companions headed into the lightly lit building that was Darkshire’s inn and bar.
It was still early in the day so the citizens of the town weren’t
drinking yet but several tired adventures were resting around the room, some
quite drunk even though it was early in the day.
The two
beautiful women immediately drew attention, particularly from the drunker
sections of the bar and cat calls rang out from every side of the bar. One human pushed himself from the bar and
moved unsteadily towards the two. He was
massive, towering over the two ladies, and every inch was hardened muscle
plated with large iron plates that made up his armor. As he drew closer the reek of alcohol
enveloped the companions showing how horribly drunk he was.
“Heya, ledisssss.” The man’s speech was horribly slurred by the
massive amounts of alcohol he had imbibed recently and he looked ready to pass
out. “Howassss
absut youss have a … a … a drinkeee wipb me.”
“How about ya push off you dirty drunk?” Alendra growled,
pushing past the man. The quick movement
had put the man off his balance and he missed the paladin’s arm with his
massive hand but he managed to catch Telssa’s upper
arm in a painful grip.
“Sir,
please let go of me.” The young Night
Elf tried to pull her arm from his grasp but she might as well have tried to
pull her arm out of stone. The man was
so drunk he could barely stand but his grip was unwavering and was starting to
crush her arm. “Let go of me.”
“Owshhh yuosssss doun wanna gouss
no wherd. Yuosss wanna ….” The man leaned close to the Night Elf’s ear
and no one else in the bar could hear what he said but by how deeply she blushed it obviously was about sex. Telssa tried to
pull her arm away but Alendra had finally noticed
that her friend had been stopped and was advancing back towards the man. By the way the blond held her weapon her
decision on how to stop this was obvious.
A heavy
gloved hand landed on the drunks shoulder and he turned his head in time to
catch a carefully aimed staff on the side of the head. The drunk’s hand fell from Telssa’s arm and he stood completely still. A soft groan escaped the drunk’s mouth as he
toppled to the side, knocked unconscious by the careful blow. Now that the large drunk had been removed the
two women could see who had been behind him.
A large
Night Elf male gripped the staff that he had struck the drunk with in one hand
and didn’t seemed worried that had just clubbed a man unconscious. “Drag him back up to his room.” The two ladies savior reached into a pouch
attached to his belt and tossed a few coins onto the bar top. The barkeeper nodded and scooped up the coins
before nodding to one of the workers in the bar.
“Thank you,
sir.” Telssa
said, bowing to the other Night Elf.
“Yeah,
thanks. Now what do you want and why did
you help us?” Alendra
crossed her arms across her breasts and stared daggers at the person that had
helped her friend. Out of everyone in
the bar this was the only person that had bothered to help the ladies and he
could be aiming for the same thing that the drunk was looking for, though his
technique was far more refined.
“I am just
a simple priest helping two young women with a simple problem. To tell you the truth though, Brom has always been a bit of a problem to me and it felt
good to be able to hit him for once.”
The Night Elf shrugged and sat back down at the table he had come from,
dragging his drink closer to him. “Feel
free to take a seat.” He gestured to the
other chairs around his table.
Telssa sat down at the table without a second thought. Alendra stood back
for a few second wrestling with her doubts before giving it with a sigh and sat
down beside her friend. Who was going to
watch out for the clueless warrior if she didn’t do it after all.
Now that
the two sat down with him they had time to really look the man over. He was the same build as most Night Elf men,
taller than most humans and broad in the shoulders. Muscles rippled underneath his light green
skin, obvious even though his heavy white priest robes covered most of his
body. His dark green hair was cut short
on the top of his head and a thin goatee decorated the end of his chin. Underneath heavy eyes brows, light green eyes
stared at both of the girls, sparkling with bottomless levels of mischief.
“So what
are you two ladies doing in Duskwood?” Telin asked, taking
a swig from his drink.
“We’re
looking for quests that we can do.” Telssa was looking up at the priest with wide eyes. She had been apart from her people for
several months now and even though she saw some now and then the human lands
had very few representatives of the elven race. Even though humans had many good points just
being able to talk to one of her own kind was a thrill for Telssa.
Telin snorted into his own drink as he tried to hold in his
laugh. It was obvious to him at least
that these two were new to adventuring and in a place well over any of their
experience.
“What was that
for?” Alendra
asked, leaning forward and glaring at the priest. Telin took another
deep swallow of his drink to give himself time to wipe the smirk from his face
before he spoke to them.
“You two
are way beyond your level in here. If
you try going out and doing the quests around here the monsters around here are
going to kill you.”
“We got
here fine.” Telssa
said.
“Of course
you did. Darkshire
is a large connecting place for Redridge and Stranglewood Vale so the guards keep the paths clearer than
in most places. A new adventurer could
get here if they didn’t mind the walk.
If you are going to step out off the path you should take some more
powerful people with you.”
“We don’t
need to hear anymore of this.” Alendra grabbed her mace underneath the head and walked
angrily from the bar. “Come on Telssa. Let’s get
out of here.” The warrior stood
uncertainly to her feet, looking between her friend and the person that she
felt was only trying to warn them.
“She is
courting to disaster with that attitude.”
Telin whispered to Telssa.
“Then I
better try and keep her safe.” The blue
hared Night Elf smiled sadly before following after her companion. Telin sat for
several more minutes, staring at the exit to the bar before sighing and picking
up his staff. If he left them out there
they were going to get killed.
*****
Alendra and Telssa peered over
the top of a gentle rise. On the other
side a werewolf looking monster stalked back and forth, tongue lolling out of
its mouth as it seemed to be patrolling an area. The two recognized the monster as a Worgen, the beast that they had been sent to hunt.
“Okay you lead
with your bow and then we charge it together.
We should be able to take it together.”
Alendra adjusted her grip on the handle of her
weapon, the woman’s nerves obvious through her stance.
“Are you
sure we are ready for this, I mean Telin said that we
wouldn’t stand a chance…”
“Hey, have
we ever had any problems with any monsters when we’re together. We can handle one dog.”
“But that
was in Westfall.” Alendra’s
blue eyes met her friend’s and she smiled reassuringly.
“We’ll be
fine.” Telssa
didn’t say anything else but just nodded and nocked a
black shafted arrow onto the string of her short bow. “Now.”
Telssa stood up straight and drew her bow back as far as
she could, the feather tickling her cheek.
With a low whistle the arrow tore through the air and buried half its
length into the beast’s chest. Instead
of phasing the creature it let out a growl and turned towards the two woman and began to lope at them, the backs of its clawed
hands scraping against the ground.
Alendra charged forward, her two handed mace swung back
over one shoulder for a powerful blow. Telssa dropped her bow to the ground and drew her weapon as
she followed the blond paladin. As the Worgen drew close Alendra swung,
throwing all of her weight behind the blow that could rip through the Worgen’s skull. But
the enemy suddenly wasn’t there, it had ducked below the heavy attack and Alendra stumbled, off balance. A powerful back hand struck the blond I nthe face, lifting her from her feet, and knocking her onto
her back. The blow had split her temple,
blood sprayed down her creamy white skin.
Telssa stared down at her felled friend. She had seen Alendra
still standing after vicious sword slashes had cut open her stomach and still
manage to kill the Defias bastard that had done
it. But this Worgen
had managed to knock her unconscious with only one blow.
Claws
slashed at her and she backpedaled as fast as she could, throwing up her
shield. Somehow the small shield managed
to get in the way of the blow and the sound of claws scraping against metal
filled her ears. The attacks continued
to come at her and somehow she kept manageing to get
her shield in the way.
Then her luck ended and the Worgen managed to get its claws around the edge of her
shield. Muscles stained on each side and
muscles corded along the werewolves arm and chest as he ripped the shield from
her arm, knocking her to the ground. The
young warrior threw her sword up above her head as she waited for the final
blow to fall and kill her.
A howl of pain made her look
up. A barrier of golden light had
surrounded her and the Worgen slammed both claws
against the shield but it held strong.
Flames leapt into life around the beast and the smell of singed fur
filled the Night Elf’s nostrils. As the
flames disappeared the Worgen still stood but scorch
marks covered its skin and flames still burned on the little fur it had left.
With another howl the Worgen turned and charged up the rise at a familiar
priest. Telin
raised one hand into the air and blue energy glowed around the upraised
hand. A comet of energy smashed into the
Worgen’s back, knocking it to the ground. The second blast drove it back to the ground
as it tried to stand and the third tore through the beast’s chest. By the fourth blast the monster was dead.
“Are you alright?” Telin asked as he
walked down the rise.
“I’m f-f-fine.” Telssa stammered,
her heart still pounding and her mouth dry from the close call with death.
“We need to get out of here. The Worgen’s will
send out more of them when they find out that we killed the patrol.” He knelt beside Alendra
and whispered a few words. Light flared
around his hand and skin knitted together on Alendra’s
forehead. With a grunt he heaved the
paladin up onto one shoulder and turned to Telssa.
She had picked up her shield and
finally got a good look at the damage.
The heavy steel had been cut easily, the Worgen’s
claws leaving large gashes. A shudder
rippled through her body as she realized how close those claws had come to her
face and body.
“Come on.” Telin said. He had already started to move away with his
burden so Telssa retrieved her equipment and ran
after him. He only moved a little
farther away from the place the three had fought. The ground jutted up sharply and rose nearly
a hundred yards into the air, forming jagged points at the top. Telin led Telssa up a short rise that leveled out into a flat plateau. Grass covered the small flat place. The little hiding place was just high enough
so that it was invisible from the ground making it impossible to find unless
you were lucky or knew it was there.
“Is she okay?”
“She is completely healed but she
is still unconscious. I can force her
awake but sometimes the body just needs to wake itself up.”
The green hared priest lay Alendra on the ground and
looked back over his shoulder. Telssa had lay down nearby, her chest still heaving from
the exertion and fear of the fight.
“You’re hurt too.” Telin said,
stepping over to Telssa.
“What?” Telssa looked down
as saw her shield arm. The chain mail
and cloth underneath had been shredded, leaving long if shallow slashes along
the length of her arm. She hadn’t even
felt the wounds in the midst of the battle but it must have happened when the Worgen had ripped the shield from her arm. “I didn’t even notice.”
“Take off your shirt.” Telin said,
stepping close.
“What?” Telssa took a step
away, color filling her face.
“The chain mail
shirt. I can’t get at the wound
if it is in the way.”
“Oh.” Relief filled her, but Telssa
couldn’t tell if it was relief that he hadn’t tried to make an advance on her
or frustrated that he hadn’t. With some
trouble she managed to pull her chain mail shirt over her head without damaging
her already hurt arm. Underneath the
armor she wore only a simple cotton shirt that was plastered to her body with
sweat.
“Okay. Just hold still.” Telin rolled the
cotton shirt up to her elbow and traced his fingers across her arm, the healing
energy flaring up once again. Telssa could feel a chill roll up her arm from the man’s
touch that she was sure wasn’t just from the healing. Alendra always
complained that she became attached to people too quickly for her own good,
whether it be a party member or just a person she met, but her skin tingled as
he touched her. “All
done.”
Telssa
looked down at her arm, whole and completely unblemished by any sign of
injury. “You managed to not leave a
scar.”
“It’s not hard for a holy priest to
do simple healing like that. Now a
shadow priest is another thing.
Personally I think that they spend too much time trying to kill stuff to
be able to heal properly.” Telin’s head suddenly cocked to the side as he thought of
something. “I can actual fix any scars
if they got healed with magic, if they healed naturally though I can’t do
anything about it.”
“O-o-okay.” Stammered Telssa. The
blue hared warrior was young by the long lived Night Elf standards but her race
was naturally interested with the opposite sex and Telssa
had spent many a sweaty night with a man.
That had been when she was in the Night Elf forests and it had been
expected, but when she was on the road there had never been a moment to find
somebody to scratch her sexual itch.
This man had just saved her life, he was handsome, and Telssa felt heat suddenly rush through her body as her slit
grew wet.
She quickly slipped her weapons,
gloves, and boots off revealing delicate hands and feet. Several old injuries ran across the skin, the
light blue skin almost turned white from the scarring. White energy gathered around Telin’s fingers as he muttered. Heat rushed through her skin again as he ran
his fingers gently over her right hand, the scarring disappearing under his
gentle touch.
Telssa had
to stifle a moan as he moved to her other hand.
Now that she was horny the mere feeling of a male’s skin rubbing against
hers sent tingles up and down her body, focusing in-between her legs. Letting out a desperate gasp she grabbed Telin by the front of his robes and pulled him to her face,
crushing her lips against his. The
priest seemed to be taken back by the warrior’s fierceness, but as she ran her
tongue over the front of his lips he opened his mouth to let her in. Their tongues wrestled as the two kissed,
each trying to get as much from the simple act of kissing as possible.
Telssa
drew back from Telin, the young woman’s eyes blazing
with lust as she slipped out of her simple white shirt, revealing a light blue
bra that almost matched her skin perfectly.
Telin ran his long fingers gently over her
chest and the few scars that trailed across her chest.
“I’m a man that finishes what he
starts so why don’t you lay down and let me finish.” Telin whispered
into her ear. Telssa
smiled and struggled out of her pants, revealing a pair of light blue panties
that matched her bra. The green hared
priest pushed her to the ground and lay beside her. The grass felt cool against her bare back and
the grass tickled her skin.
“Now just let the healer
work.” Telin
lowered his head to hers and captured her lips in another exhausting kiss. As the two continued to kiss energy wrapped
around Telin’s fingers again and he began to draw
them over her bare skin, starting at her neck and slowly working its way down. As his fingers traced across her skin the
many thin scars that were the stock and trade of an adventurer disappeared, but
what was even more important to the young woman was the pleasurable heat that followed
the touch.
When his fingers reached the top of
her breast Telssa pulled her head away from his and
moaned heavily. For the passion deprived
Night Elf the simple touch of her breast sent an explosion of pleasure through
her body driving her moans even louder. Telin’s fingers reached moved over the cups of the bra,
tracing slowly around her stiff nipples driving her to new heights of passion.
Sooner than she wanted
Telin moved on, his fingers drifting down her
washboard stomach. He moved in a
slow circle around her belly button before dropping even farther. Telssa let out a
moan of annoyance as he skipped over her pussy and dropped to her ankles.
“No fair.” Telssa moaned.
“Don’t tell the healer how to do
his job or he may have to punish you.” Telin had sat up and kneeled by her feet running both hands
up her the inside of her legs. As the
priest worked his way closer to her crotch Telssa
tried desperately to keep from grabbing onto her lover and forcing him inside
of her. Fingers gripped reflexively at
the ground underneath her, digging into the dirt to try and hold back the waves
of lust. All the time she had spent with
out a sexual outlet were coming to a peak just from simple strokes and
caresses.
Telin’s
hands suddenly moved upwards and grabbed the top of her panties. He jerked the garment upwards, letting the
material slid upwards across her slit roughly.
The sudden rough movement drew the plain cotton against her clit, the
tiny nub of nerves sending crackling bolts of pleasure up and down her
body. And suddenly the dam burst loose
and Telssa could feel herself orgasm.
Her back arched and her toes and
fingers grabbed spastically at the ground, desperate for a place to funnel the
pleasure surging through her body. A
silent scream had her mouth stretched open even while her eyes were squeezed
tightly shut. Slowly she came down from
her high and relaxed back onto the ground.
Telin slid his fingers under the now soaked
underwear and pushed one slender digit deep into her. After what had just happened all his partner
could manage was a weak moan.
“You’re wet. Are you ready for more?” Telssa moaned her
affirmation and Telin pulled his robe off.
