Well this is another MMX fan fiction I hope you like it and for the record if you see (rrrr) in the character dialog then that means that the characters are thinking.

As full force of nature decimated the already destroyed Abel City construction site with it heavy rain, high powered wind couple thunder & lightning. All signs of life in said area had been wiped out, except for two maverick hunters stationed to fight off the berserk Mechaniloid that caused the initial destruction Mega Man X & Axl.

X: damn this thing is tough!!!! any ideas Ax1!?

Axl: just one MOVE!!!!

Suddenly the Mechaniloid fired off fired two lasers from the cannon mounted on the sides of it�s head forcing them leap away backwards just as the landed the Mechaniloid fired it crane like claw at them attempting to capture the two hunters. With no way to get away both the two hunters prepared themselves for impact how just as it was an inch away the claw suddenly fell as if it were cut off. At first dumfounded at what had just happened & who saved them X & Axl instantly relax a little when the realized that the person who saved them was non other than their partner & friend Zero Omega holding his Z-saber in his hand.

Zero: hey guys sorry I�m late did miss all the fun?

X: I say the fun just got started

Axl: look out it�s firing again.

The Mechaniloid again fire off it�s twin lasers from both it cannons straight for the three hunters, thinking quickly Zero moved in font of his partners while using his saber to catch both beams at the same time. Although the continuous laser fire pinned Zero down forcing him to scrape the land with land with his feet while being pushed backwards the Mechaniloid left itself wide opened for an attack from X & Axl.

X: it�s vulnerable!!! Axl go for it�s legs !!!

Axl: right behind you X!!!!

X & Axl dash at the Mechaniloid drawing their weapons & powering them up to max. With on blast from his X-buster X easily destroyed the joint that connects the leg to the body cause it to fall off leaving three legs left. Axl quickly did the same taking out two legs at the same time with his Axl bullets causing them to fall, with only one leg left the Mechaniloid could was no longer able to stay balanced ultimately falling on it�s back revealing it�s generator.

X: Zero the generator is exposed!! Quick finish it!!!!

Zero: right I�m on it

Zero dash at the fallen ready to deliver the final blow, at first the Mechaniloid tried to fire a shot at him but he leaped into the air avoiding it. The Mechaniloid then tried to fire off another shot at him in the air but this time Zero just smirked as he said�

Zero: please

With one swing from his Saber easily deflected the beams sending them right back at the Mechaniloid�s laser cannons destroying it�s remaining weapons. Wanting to finish the task faster Zero flung the Z-saber at the generator in a spinning fashion turning it into a energy saw blade that quickly sliced into the generator shutting it down then ricocheting off it back into the air in a boomerang fashion returning to Zero�s hand just as he landed.

X: nice move Z

Zero: thanks. he said as returned his saber to it�s sheath

TRANING SEQUNCE COMPLETE

The Mechaniloid suddenly disappeared along this the scenery reveling that they were really inside a large checkered room & the battle was just a training exercise.

Suddenly three large holographic screens appeared showing each hunter�s performance evaluation. While X & Axl were happy with the final scores Zero was slightly upset about his.

Zero: 95%!!! How did I miss 5% while you guys got perfect scores.

X: maybe if you were here on time that wouldn�t have happened

Axl: yeah where were you?

Zero: taking care of some last minute tasks.

Suddenly the three screens merged into one now showing the maverick hunter commander Sigans on screen.

Signas: congratulations hunter your performance has once again proven way above average you all have earned your time off all of you.

X: thank you sir.

Signas: hunters dismissed

X.Z.A: SIR YES SIR!!!! They replied as they salute their commander before he left

The moment Signas left the three hunters watched as their armor began to glow rapidly until suddenly their armors disappeared along with their weapons leaving only clothes they wore that morning before their training started. X was wearing a blue & light blue shirts along with matching jean & a pair of shoes that also match. Zero was wearing a red T-shirt that had his signature Z on the back , black jeans & black sneakers. While Axl was only wearing a black tank top with black shorts and sandals. As they walk out of the command room they were instantly greeted by two of their friends Marty X�s mermaid Reploid girlfriend & Cinnamon a Reploid nurse newly recruited after the rebellion army incident who also has an open crush with Axl.

Cin: you guys were great.

Axl: thanks Cinnamon

Mar: so X where are we going for our vacation?

X: I thought we�d spend our time up north.

Mar: that sound great� how about you two.

Cin: Axl & I are going to visit Professor Gaudile how about you Zero by the way where�s Iris she wasn�t here to help monitor your training?

Zero: she�s back in our room still packing for our trip.

Cin: trip?

Zero: we�re spending our vacations at the beach

X: aw the beach is perfect spots for a married couple.

Axl: yeah Zero I�m sure you & Mrs. Omega will have lots beach fun. Teased Axl

Zero: you guys really do get a kick every time you mention that Iris & I are married now don�t you? he asked in a slight annoyed tone.

X: yeah, I mean, after all the times you tried avoiding that subject then when you proposed & got married, 6 months later it still amazes me still. Right Axl?

Axl: pretty much.

Zero: really well speaking of marriage when are you guys going to marry? X�Axl

Zero left out of the room with a smirk leaving his friends to the mercy of their girlfriends. Zero proceeded to make his way back towards the living quarters of hunter base eager to see Iris so they can be on their way to their vacation. Once he made it to his room he quickly walked into the room turning on the light as he looked around. Zero & iris� room was perfectly fitted for two people, it was comprised two separate dressers that housed their clothes that were pushed together stationed right under the single window that gave a nice view of Abel City. On the left end of room were two shelves one holding a small collection of antique swords while other held scrolls of sword skills that Zero has or has not mastered. Their bed was set up right by the entrance/exit to their room. Finally a second door that led to their bathroom was station right by Zero�s scroll & sword shelves. Zero noticed immediately suitcases on their bed which meant that iris had finished packing but he did not see her.

Zero: Iris where are you?

Iris: I�m in the bathroom I�m coming out right now Luv.

Zero watched as the door to the bathroom slid opened reveal his beloved wife dressing nothing but a towel rapped around her body & another around her head.

Iris: hello dear I thought I�d take a shower since I finished early with the packing.

Zero: that�s ok

Iris: zero you seem a little down is some thing bothering you?

Zero: well I was 5% short of a perfect score cause I was late that�s all.

Iris: aw you shouldn�t let that bother you I know some thing that will make forget about that.

Before Zero could ask what Iris rushed to him whipping of the towel that held her hair quickly embracing him. The moment her lips touched his true to her words he forgot what was bothering him. Zero: that�s something to defiantly to look forward .he said as he picked up both suitcases & proceeded to walk out the room.

Iris: (sigh) I love that hunter. She said as she happily walked to her dresser

10 minutes later�.

After securing both his & Iris� suitcases to the Adion, Zero leaned against his bike patiently waiting for his wife to join him. Zero thought about how much he & iris needed this time off with the intense training & battles also have to put off time with Iris for a mission. Although Iris didn�t seem to mind Zero knew that she would rather have him here with her instead having him on missions but now they the have a chance to relax & spend time with each other like a normal married couple should.

Iris: okay Zero I�m ready to go.

Zero turned around to see that Iris was dressed in a blue tube dress that stopped above her ankle, a red belt rapped around her hips, a pair of blue sandals & finally her red beret. Zero gave a quick smiles as helped Iris onto the adion

Zero: get ready Iris

Iris: don�t worry I am.

Zero: okay� Adion Z voice activation

AI: voice activation access denied

Zero: voice command override

AI: voice command override accepted access granted

Zero: prep for take off & launch on my command

AI: input command code

Zero: command code: 000 Launch 0

AI: command code accepted prepping for launch waiting for launch command.

Upon receiving it�s launch code the Adion began to prepare it�s self for launch while waiting for Zero to give the command, quickly looking over his shoulder he signaled for Iris to hold on which she did by rapping her arms around his waist just as he gave the command.

Zero: Alright! Adion Z LAUNCH!!!!

The Adion took of with great speed causing Iris to grip Zero tighter from the force of the takeoff nearly forced her off. As speed along to where their destination was Iris still had a question to ask Zero.

Iris: Zero

Zero: yes

Iris: I wanted to ask you why were you late for training.

Zero: I was taking care of the final preparations for where we are going to stay.

Iris: wait where are we staying

Zero: in Doppler Town

Iris: Doppler Town? Wait that�s nowhere near the beach & wasn�t the city shut down?

Zero: the original yes but after the Doppler incident & he was found not guilt for the incident Dr. Doppler rebuilt the city in a new area that sits on top of a cliff that over looks a beach.

Iris: I see now

Zero: trust me you�ll love it.

Iris: I know I will

2 hours later�

After the long trip the finally made it to the new Doppler Town while look a lot more welcoming than the original one of the few places that seem like reploids & humans can live in peace. Iris was amazed by the city it seem a lot more organic meaning it must utilize a clean source of energy.

Iris: this new Doppler Town is amazing.

Zero: yes the doctor has really out did himself.

Iris: where�s is the house that we are staying at?

Zero: out side of the main part of the city by the cliffs that right over the beach.

Zero decided to speed up taking them out of them main part of Doppler Town into the more suburb area. The homes were beautiful along with the area that carried a peaceful tone with it. They spent a few seconds looking for where they were stay but quickly found it when they saw a familiar face waving at them.

Iris: Dr. Doppler this is a pleasant surprise

Dop: It is very nice to see both of you & I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Zero: so this is where were going to staying impressive.

Dop: thank you this house is two floors the kitchen & the living room are on the first & the bathroom is upstairs along with the bed room & your bedroom window also has a balcony so that you can enjoy the view of the beach below. Oh one more thing it is yours to keep also

Iris: really oh that is so generous

Dop: consider it a late wedding gift beside it�s the least I can do for all I cause in the past

Zero: you don�t have to stop beating yourself up about it you were controlled by Sigma but your free now to start over

Dop: thank you well I must return to the main part of the city enjoy your stay. He said a he walked away

While Iris hopped off the Adion going inside to explore the house Zero parked his bike grabbing both suitcases going inside after her. Zero immediately walked upstairs to the small walk way that led to the bed room & the bathroom. Wanting to see the bedroom balcony he headed right to towards the opened door. After placing both suit cases on the floor by the large queen size bed Zero walked across the room to join her out in the balcony. As stared at they beach down iris was happy one how festive it was down there & welcoming humans & reploid .

Iris: this place is amazing such a wonderful view & the beach below looks so inviting & fun c�mon Zero let�s get ready to go!!! She said as she grabbed his arm

Zero: whoa hold on Iris!!!! He yelled as Iris pulled him back inside

30 minutes later�.

After taking the transporter Zero & Iris both happily walk along the sand bare foot ready to enjoy themselves like everyone else. Being a reploid gave Zero a well toned muscular body that was now out in the open since his had on only a pair of red swims trunks. Suddenly she felt a shadow cast over her thinking that it was a cloud she opened her eyes to that is was a man casting a shadow over her. The man was wearing black swim trunks his build was muscular with short black hair.

Iris: exactly you saw how he ran when he saw you dear if he knew who you really are he�d have ran faster

Zero: thanks Iris. He said as he kissed her on a forehead.

Iris: did he really call you a punk?

Zero: yeah that plus I heard some chatter from others! It�s like they�ve never seen two reploids before!!

Iris: don�t mind them it�s just because were new your just being a little tense hon just relax I�m here.

Despite the minor set back Zero finally felt at peace having Iris with him always made him feel relax & not care about the stressful life of being a maverick hunter. Iris let out a light giggle before leaning against Zero slowly she closed eyes drifting asleep as Zero rapped his arm around her.

30 minutes later�

Zero: iris�.iris wake up

Iris: huh Zero?

Zero: enjoyed your nap?

Iris: o dear how long have been asleep?

Zero: for about a half hour I didn�t want you to miss this.

Zero: close you eyes & follow me

Zero rose to his feet taking Iris� hand have her get up also, he them proceeded to lead to shore. Iris blindly followed confused & anxious wanting to know what Zero wanted to show her.

Iris: Zero Omega what is it that want me to see?

Zero: open your eyes & take a look out into the ocean

Iris: huh?�.O my

Iris began to blush as she realized that Zero wanted to watch her sunset with him. The setting sun�s glow lit up the ocean�s surface like diamonds. The ocean now looked like it was filled with sparkling diamonds, the scenery was completely breath taking to Iris as she was very glad that Zero woke her up to this. Iris then turned to Zero who was also watching the sunset, gently placing her hands on the sides of his face, turning him towards her, quickly taking lowering his face to her face she pressed her lips to Zero�s. They stood their for five minutes rapped in each other�s arms oblivious that most of the other beach goers were gone by now. Finally a small wave from the shore brushed up against their feet sending a chill up Iris� spine causing them to finally breaking their embrace. Both looked around to see that they were the only one left & that the sun had already set. They both gave each other a silent smile before heading to recover their things & head back. Although nothing was said as the left they silently agreed to watch that sunset tomorrow.

30 minutes later�.

After making it back Iris decided that considering the hours it would be wise to take a bath then go to bed, Before she left for the bathroom she gave Zero another thank you kiss for sharing that sunset with her .As Iris laid soaking in the tub with her hair now tied up she was impressed by the interior design, the bath tub is joined to the shower in interlocking units to save space. Across a double sinks, a wall-hung vanity with storage shelves built below them appears to float over the floor and a wall-hung toilet that was placed next to it right by the door. As Iris laid there thinking about the day she wish that she & Zero could have tried more thing instead of just sitting down but that sunset that they watched was the best part of the day & began to mentally plans some things tomorrow that they can do. Suddenly Iris heard the bathroom door looking he saw Zero walking in dressed in nothing but a pair of black & red sweat pants. Once the door closed behind him he walked up to his wife with a calm expression although it was visibly obvious from his point of view that she was blushing a little.

Iris: Zero I uh? She stammered as she used her arms to cover her chest

Zero quickly lathered up the rag before set the soap aside lowering himself to his knees in front of the tub.
