"Oi, Rockman," Tomahawkman called out when he saw the blue navi. He hurried to
catch up to Rockman. "What are you doing out here?"
"Just killing time," Rockman said, "Netto-kun's busy with Dingo and another
eating contest."
"Oh, that," Tomahawkman said, wrinkling his nose a bit, "yeah, I skipped out
when I realized where it was headed. It's always the same with them, isn't it?"
Rockman nodded. "But that's to be expected with them, huh?"
Tomahawkman returned the nod. "Hey, you know what? Why don't we battle to kill
time?"
"I don't know . . ." Rockman started, "Netto-kun might need me."
"Those two will eat anyone out of house and home," Tomahawkman said with a
laugh, "they'll be busy for a long, long time . . . and unable to move
afterwards. Besides, what harm is there?"
"I could use a good workout, I suppose," Rockman said.
"It'll be a good practice without chips, just in case we get stuck in battle
where they can't get to us," Tomahawkman said.
"You have an advantage over me though," Rockman said, "I have just my buster,
you have more attack moves than I do."
Tomahawkman grinned sheepishly. "Well, true, but it'll be all the better for you
to learn how to dodge them. Build your reflexes."
"True," Rockman said with a nod.
Tomahawkman grinned before getting a wicked idea. "Ne, Rockman, why don't we
make this a betting contest?"
"Bet?" Rockman asked, tilting his head to the side a bit, "as in what?"
"How about the winner decides?" Tomahawkman proposed, "like they can have the loser do
some sort of chore for them or something like that?"
"You mean like a winner-takes-all?" Rockman asked.
"Yeah," Tomahawkman said with a nod.
Rockman seemed unsure but slowly nodded. "Ok," he said.
Tomahawkman grinned like a banshee, moving back to put some distance between
them. He got into a
defensive crouch, tomahawk before him. He watched as Rockman formed his buster.
"I know what I'll do when I win," Rockman said, "I'll have you get Netto-kun
through a day of school. That'll be torture enough."
"Only in your wildest fantasies," Toma said as rolled his eyes, "what
makes you think you're going to win?"
"Because I know your attacks," Rockman said before he opened fire.
Tomahawkman leapt out of the way at the last second when Rockman started to fire
at him. He brought his arm back as far as he could. "Tomahawk Air Raid!" he
shouted as he sharply hurled his tomahawk in a deadly spinning arc toward the
other navi. It was one of his better attacks, harder for those in its line of
fire to defend against it, even if it did leave him without any offensive or
defensive abilities until it returned to him like a boomerang.
When Rockman ducked under the rapidly spinning blade he cursed softly, hiding
his worry with a smirk. He knew Rockman understood the secret about his
attacks so he moved, avoiding the shots from Rockman's buster as he
maneuvered them into the right position for the return of his tomahawk to strike
the other navi in the back.
Tomahawkman watched as Rockman easily avoided the return swing, his senses as
sharp as ever.
As the tomahawk returned to his hand Toma couldn't help but admire how good
Rockman had gotten without the need for an operator. He felt his weapon snap back into place
and he grinned. "Not bad.
It's good to keep in top shape without an operator handy, just in case. Well,
you know. We both know what it's like to lose contact with them and find
ourselves in a battle."
Rockman nodded. "That's why when Netto-kun's busy and didn't need me, I've
run training programs in my PET."
"Now that's a good idea," Tomahawkman said, "when we're done I want a copy of
that program. It'll do me good to get some extra training in myself while Dingo
gets himself lost on deliveries. It's not like he ever listens to me when I try
to tell him the right way to go . . . "
Rockman laughed at that. "Well, is that all you've got? I thought this was a
winner-take-all battle?"
Tomahawkman smirked. "You should know, that was just a warm up. Now it's time for the real thing."
He noted the slight smirk from Rockman and he knew this was going to be a really
worthy fight. He already knew
what he wanted as the spoils of victory, all he had to do was tire Rockman out
or pull out some nasty attacks to wear him down to the point Rockman would be
forced to yield. The last thing he wanted to do was to really damage his latest
conquest, after all.
He dashed in, running at top speed, arm drawn back for a vicious swing. Rockman leapt aside, seeming to hover in mid air as he
fired nearly continuously with his buster. A natural attack considering he
relied on battle chips to vary his attacks, much like Blues or Searchman would,
one relying on a sword, the other his gun. Not that he didn't rely on a single
weapon, his tomahawk, but he wasn't limited to simple shots or sword
swings. Not only could he deflect shots if he was quick enough but also use his
tomahawk as a ranged weapon in two different patterns.
Tomahawkman finally leapt, avoiding the shots aimed
his way as he threw his tomahawk again, knowing Rockman wouldn't have the
maneuvering room in the air as he did on the ground. Not without battle chips,
that was. His attack held true and
Rockman could only shield himself as best he could with crossed arms over
his chest and face, being thrown back by the sheer force of the Tomahawk Air
Raid,
handing hard on the ground.
"Hit 'em while they're down, that's what I always say," Tomahawkman said as
he caught his weapon before even landing on the ground. He dashed in, the
smirk still on his face as he launched his next attack. "Tomahawk Swing!"
When Rockman rolled out of his attack path, Toma nearly faltered. Not
bad, he mused as he skidded to a halt to slash at the other navi with his tomahawk,
surprised when Rockman brought his buster around, letting that take the hit
from the razor sharp blade of Toma's weapon. Not bad at all . . . you just
might be what I was looking for . . .
However, he knew that put Rockman at a tactical disadvantage. "Now you don't have a weapon to use," Tomahawkman said, "give up?"
"Never," Rockman said, reaching out and grabbing Tomahawkman's weapon
to use the Indian navi's arm to flip him.
Tomahawkman landed with an oof and he had to smile. "Heh, I never thought
of that. Thanks for pointing a weakness out to me. I'll remember not to let it
happen again," he said as he kicked at Rockman when he
approached before rolling to his feet and lashing out with his tomahawk.
"No problem," Rockman said as he ducked under the swing, tackling Tomahawkman
around the waist.
The Indian navi let their momentum cause him to fall to the ground, Rockman resting now on top of him. "You know . . . I think I know what I'm
going to do with you when I win . . . "
"If you win," Rockman shot back, face slightly flushed, his breaths soft
yet quick.
"Oh, I know I'm going to win," Tomahawkman said, "I never lose."
"There's always a first time," Rockman said.
"Not for me," Tomahawkman said as he silently called on his totem pole,
listening as it rose from the ground, shaking the digital world. He saw
the slight fear on Rockman's face and used that momentary lapse of
concentration to flip the other
navi off of him. "Go ahead and take your best shot. You know what my Totem-sama
is capable of."
"This isn't a fight to deletion," Rockman said, "this is just to
kill time."
"I know," Tomahawkman said with a smirk, "this just makes it all
the more interesting, don't you think?" He willed the red face to appear and closed his eyes, bracing himself as
the area was filled with meteors.
"That's just cheat-" Rockman began until a meteor slammed into the
ground not too far from them.
Toma curled into a ball, bringing his tomahawk around to shield him as best as
he could. When the attack ended he groaned softly. "Damn. I forgot how much
those things sting when I get too close to my own attack . . . Totem-sama, mind healing me?"
The white face turned around this time and Tomahawkman could feel the healing energy
from his totem filling every inch of his data. Once he was back to full strength
he rose and stretched, checking on Rockman. "It wasn't a real attack
because I wouldn't use a full attack on you," he
said, "just something that would force you to submit. If I had really wanted to
delete you, I could have."
Rockman just groaned in pain, body suit ripped in places and smoking in
others.
Tomahawkman moved over and scooped Rockman up into his arms, moving
closer to his totem pole. "Mind healing my servant?" he asked.
Obeying his will the white face sent healing energy into the other navi's body.
"Servant?" Rockman asked, voice growing a bit stronger as the totem healed him,
"I never agreed to be your servant."
"Didn't we agree to a winner-takes-all battle?" Tomahawkman said more than
asked.
Rockman just groaned. "Great, just great. Now Netto-kun's going to disown me."
"He's not going to do that," Tomahawkman said, deciding not to put Rockman down just
yet, "don't go getting overly dramatic on me or else I'll have to think up a
suitable punishment."
"Like what?" Rockman asked.
"Dunno," Tomahawkman said with a half shrug.
"You know," Rockman began, "you can put me down, ok?"
"Yeah, I could, couldn't I?" Tomahawkman said though he made no move to put
Rockman down, "but I'm not ready to put my navi down just yet."
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Rockman asked as he looked up at Tomahawkman,
a faint blush starting to tint his cheeks,
"I belong to Netto-kun."
"Not now you don't," Tomahawkman said with a soft chuckle, only then setting
Rockman down on his feet though he held the other navi close, just staring into
his eyes.
Rockman shivered suddenly as the blush turned deep and started to spread across his cheeks.
"Don't worry," Tomahawkman said as he gently brushed his fingers over Rockman's
blush, "I might be a rough-and-tumble fighter but could be a very
kind and gentle lover."
"Y-you mean?" Rockman asked, stumbling over his words as his eyes went wide.
"What?" Tomahawkman asked, "you didn't think I had a love life?"
"Well . . . um . . . the thought never crossed my mind," Rockman said, "but why
me?"
Tomahawkman hesitated at that. "Well, a bet is a bet," he said, "and I won so I
get to take what I want. Isn't that right?"
"I, um, guess so . . ." Rockman said as he looked away, the blush still there.
"Don't tell me you're embarrassed by this?" Toma asked.
"N-no, no, that's not it," Rockman said, his gaze still away from Tomahawkman's
face.
Tomahawkman tried to think of why Rockman would do this besides not wanting to
become a sex partner to the Indian navi. "You're a virgin, then," he finally
said.
"Well . . . sorta," Rockman said.
"So you have a lover and you think this'll be cheating on him?" Tomahawkman
asked.
"I kinda was in love with someone but they never showed any feelings toward me
so it was kind of a one-sided crush," Rockman said.
"Oh," Tomahawkman said, "it wouldn't be anyone I know, would it?"
Rockman nodded.
"I won't press," Tomahawkman said, "it wouldn't be right to stick my nose into
your love life."
"Not that taking my body because you cheated on a bet is any better?" Rockman
shot back, biting his lip before looking away again.
Tomahawkman was surprised by that change and he felt a ripple of sadness creep
into his soul at that. He wasn't sure why where other rejections he had gotten
had just fallen on deaf ears. Spoils of war were just that, things for the
taking. "I don't expect you to love me," he said, "I don't expect
you to want to remain my servant when we're done. I expect you to hate me for
winning."
"Hate is such a strong word . . ." Rockman said, voice going a bit soft.
"Well, why don't we try loathing?" Tomahawkman offered, "maybe disgust? Or how
about revulsion? I got it, extreme dislike would be a better choice, right?"
"It's not like that," Rockman said before falling silent again.
Tomahawkman sighed, hugging Rockman close as he closed his eyes, banishing his
weapon. A part of him felt sorry for winning the battle and he considered just
letting Rockman go. However, when he felt slender hands come around his waist,
pulling him a bit closer, felt the warm breath against his neck he shivered
involuntarily. "Rockman . . . "
"This is what you wanted, wasn't it?" Rockman asked, "you won, I'm your servant,
you take me out of lust and then whatever else comes into your mind."
"It's not like that," Tomahawkman said with a soft sigh.
"Then what is it?" Rockman asked.
Tomahawkman fell silent. He couldn't deny the feelings he had started to develop
deep inside of him nor the fact he wanted to feel Rockman, to hear him scream in
pleasure, yet something kept him from speaking what he really thought. Instead
he sighed and shook his head. "Fine," he said, "but not here."
"My PET then," Rockman said, "or yours."
"I was thinking of something else," Tomahawkman said as he reached up to gently
caress Rockman's cheek, the touch almost loving. He concentrated on a set of coordinates,
knowing just how to avoid the firewalls to get them both inside, considering he
didn't want Rockman to know how to slip past the defenses he was used to. "You have to
obey every word I say, ok? If you don't, I can't guarantee what might happen to
you. You'll be safe once we get to where I want to take you."
Rockman nodded, blushing softly at the dual meaning of Tomahawkman's words,
though he did seem a bit apprehensive.
Tomahawkman transferred them to a different part of the net. One he knew Rockman
had never been to, considering no one outside of a select few knew of its
existence. He pulled back and
watched as Rockman opened his eyes and looked around, the sadness replaced with
an almost childlike curiosity as well as dismay.
"What . . . where are we?" Rockman asked.
"Keep your voice down," Tomahawkman said, "you don't want to scare the game."
"Game?" Rockman whispered.
Tomahawkman nodded before taking Rockman's hand. He led the blue navi deeper
into the digital woods. He stopped only once they had neared a gently flowing stream, pointing toward a clearing
and a herd of deer, some standing, some laying, a buck sniffing the air, tail
snapping, ready to give the alert to the others.
At Rockman's sharp intake of breath Tomahawkman looked over to him. "This is the
Tribe's space on the net," he whispered against Rockman's cheek, "it was made to
resemble the old lands before they were taken over, deforested and the game
hunted to near extinction. It's heavily firewalled and protected by strong
braves to keep everyone except tribal members out. That way no one can destroy
this place like they did in the real world."
"I-it's beautiful," Rockman whispered back, his face reflecting the awe he had
to have been feeling at seeing something like this.
"We have a ways to go before we get to our final destination," Tomahawkman
whispered, taking Rockman's hand again and leading him around the herd, steps
silent.
When a hawk cried overhead Tomahawkman stopped and looked up. He grinned before
putting a hand to the side of his mouth. He let out a cry that sounded like the
hawk overhead, listening to the return answer.
"How . . . " Rockman began.
"When you're as close to nature as those of the Tribe are it's not hard to
understand the language of the animals," Tomahawkman said, "and now you see why
I'm a wood navi. I have a connection to nature very few would understand."
Rockman nodded. "I just never thought anything like this was possible."
"Well, it is," Tomahawkman said, "just because Dingo is directionally impaired
and has a huge competitive streak doesn't mean all of the Tribe is like that.
He's just one of the few exceptions."
"Are the other tribal navis like you?" Rockman asked.
Tomahawkman laughed softly. "I hope not or we're in real trouble. No, most of
them were modeled after what the humans in our Tribe look like. Very few of them
have armor, at least not what you're used to. Come on, I'll show you."
Rockman blinked at that and Tomahawkman had to laugh. "Yes, I said I'll show you. The
village isn't too far away from here."
"You have a village here?" Rockman asked.
"Is there an echo all of a sudden?" Tomahawkman asked, "yeah, a village for the
navis. It's based off of what the old villages looked like before the Tribe was
forced to modernize."
Rockman nodded, falling silent.
Tomahawkman took Rockman's hand and led him along the forest, following trails
only those trained as he had could see, ghosting through the digital landscape
like an ancient spirit. Every so often he had to slow down or
stop, forgetting that Rockman might not be so in tune with nature.
When a spear suddenly shot his way, Tomahawkman shifted, deflecting it with his
now recalled tomahawk.
"Turn back," a voice said, "strangers are not welcome here."
"Well, no," Tomahawkman said, "normally not. He's an exception."
"There are no exceptions," the voice said, "outsiders are forbidden from
entering our sacred lands."
Tomahawkman sighed, putting a hand to his head. "Sharp Spear, you always give me
a headache. I know the rules, I was created here, remember?"
"Then you know he must be returned from where you found him," Sharp
Spear
continued.
"He's my servant," Tomahawkman said.
"That is of no concern of mine. Others might be more lenient but I am not,"
Sharp Spear said, "take him back now or I will
delete him."
Toma shook his head. "Go ask Speaks Softly," he said, "she has final say because
she's one of our elders plus she's your operator. Rockman is allowed to come
with me so long as he's my servant."
"Toma-" Rockman began.
"Shut up," Tomahawkman snapped, "I didn't give you permission to speak." He
hated doing that to Rockman but he knew he had to get past Sharp Spear and even
if he could protect Rockman it meant his own life would be in danger, and maybe
Dingo's where they both might be banished from the Tribe because of this.
"Speaks Softly," Sharp Spear said in their native tongue, "Tomahawkman
has returned with an outside navi. He claims he can bring him onto our sacred
lands because he is his servant. I have warned them to go back but he refuses.
What is your order?"
"Who is this stranger that dares to enter our lands?" an older, female
voice asked.
"His name is Rockman," Tomahawkman said, "I beat him in a contest and
as my spoils of war he became my servant."
"Rockman?" Speaks Softly asked, "he surely is not the legendary navi
who has protected the net from various outside forces that had wished to destroy
it."
"Um, yeah," Tomahawkman said, "he is the same one."
"Sharp Spear, you know Rockman is to be allowed access to our lands as he can
be trusted," Speaks Softly said, "after all, his operator is a Net Savior
and friends with Dingo."
"Thanks, Elder," Tomahawkman said, "I promise to keep him on a leash
and with me at all times. I brought him here so he doesn't know the codes to get
past our firewall. Heck, he doesn't even know our language."
"Does his operator know he is here?" Speaks Softly asked.
"Um, no," Tomahawkman said, looking down a bit as he scuffed the earth
with his armored foot, "Dingo and Netto were in an eating contest so Rockman
and I decided to spar on a bet."
"You should let Hikari Netto know where his navi is," Speaks Softly said,
"it is only kind so he does not worry where his navi is."
Tomahawkman glanced over to Rockman, giving him a weak smile. "Yeah, yeah, I
will. Besides, I only wanted to show him our navi village before taking him back
to the outside world where he can get in contact with Netto."
"Make sure you do," Speaks Softly said, "Sharp Spear, let them pass."
Sharp Spear growled a bit, the spear that Tomahawkman had deflected disappeared
in a flurry of digital bits.
"Thanks, Elder," Tomahawkman said reverting back to a language he knew Rockman
would understand.
"You are welcome," Speaks Softly said, "and Rockman, welcome to our sacred
lands. You are the first outside navi to enter in a long, long time."
Rockman simply nodded, staying silent as ordered.
"Go ahead and tell her thanks," Tomahawkman said, "then don't say a word."
"Th-thanks," Rockman said, "I'm really honored to be here."
"I'm sure Tomahawkman will be a good guide while you are here," Speaks Softly
said, "unlike his operator he does have a good sense of direction and will not
get you lost."
Tomahawkman blinked before laughing at that. "At least someone agrees with me."
Rockman started to speak as the transmission from Speaks Softly was terminated
but stopped, looking down instead.
Tomahawkman turned to Rockman, not liking how downcast the other navi looked. "I hate to do this but it'll assure no one else
tries to stop us. Even though Speaks Softly will allow you into the village, it
doesn't mean one of the other Council might not agree and their navi might try
to stop us."
Rockman nodded, staying silent as ordered. He flinched some when Tomahawkman
reached up to fasten a crude-looking collar around his neck, attaching a length
of rope to it. Only then did he look down again.
"Once we're home I'll take this off of you," Tomahawkman said as he shifted,
ghosting a kiss to Rockman's cheek.
Rockman nodded, staying silent still.
Tomahawkman sighed inside before he turned and led Rockman to the village. He
stopped on the edge of the village. "Go ahead and take a look around," he said,
"just don't make any threatening moves and whatever you do, don't form your
buster. Some of the braves might not think to ask their operators before
attacking. Oh, and you might not want to talk either. Not that most of the
villagers would understand you anyway. Very few speak anything but our native
tongue."
Rockman simply nodded.
Tomahawkman led Rockman past a few of the teepees that ringed a central area,
some elderly looking navis resting from the artificial heat of the digital sun,
some younger women with infants in cradle boards or tending to gardens or other
work around the village.
"So, Tomahawkman has decided to show his face in the village?" a voice called
out.
Tomahawkman stopped, fist tightening on the rope to Rockman's collar.
"And he even brought another stranger," the same voice said, "decided to find
another navi to break?"
"That's none of your business Bear," Tomahawkman said.
A large, human-looking navi moved a bit closer, dressed in a buckskin shirt and
breeches. "How many does this make? Six?
It's easy to lose track with all of the 'servants' you bring back. Does he
know what's going to happen to him?"
"Shut up!" Tomahawkman nearly roared.
"Oh, so you haven't told him about the others?" Bear continued, "how you'd bring
them here, get them to scream before breaking them so badly they had to be
deleted out of mercy?"
"Bear, I'm warning you," Tomahawkman said, blade arm shaking slightly out of
both anger at what Bear was saying as well as shame that Rockman was hearing
this.
"He's too scrawny to last long," Bear said, "should have thrown him back and
found a better navi."
Tomahawkman growled. "Go find your own man to screw," he nearly hissed, "oh,
that's right, you're not like that. You can't stand same sex relationships."
Bear looked a bit sick when a few of the villagers began to laugh, more joining
in when what had been said had been translated to them.
Tomahawkman didn't wait, yanking hard on Rockman's collar and nearly dragging
him to a teepee set away from the others, one that looked larger and more
decorated than the others, the Indian navi's symbol emblazoned on the door flap.
Not even when the flap had closed did Tomahawkman let go of
Rockman's collar, the fire dying from his eyes only when the coldness of reality set in. "Sorry," he said, reaching up to take the collar off of Rockman.
Rockman stayed silent, expression carefully guarded.
"You can speak," Tomahawkman said, "look, let's just forget everything, ok? I'll
take you back to Netto right now. I won't even make you go through with the
conditions of victory. I'm giving you complete freedom. No more servant stuff."
"Toma . . . " Rockman said, voice soft, filled with mixed emotions.
"You don't have to say it," Tomahawkman said as he moved over and sat heavily on
his bed furs, wondering why Rockman had shortened his name like that. But that
was the least of his worries right now. He banished his armor as he crossed his legs neatly beneath him.
"I know what you're thinking."
"Are you sure?" Rockman asked.
Tomahawkman snorted. "After what Bear said?"
"I want to hear your side of it first," Rockman said as he moved over and sat
beside of Tomahawkman.
The Indian navi looked over, surprised Rockman wanted to be that close to him
after what was said. "It's true. Every so often I'd get the urge and go find a
navi to challenge. I'd win and bring them here. I'd take them out of lust and
ended up breaking them. What Bear said was true. Once I was done with them there
was little left but an empty shell."
"You should know me well enough by now that I'm not that easy to break," Rockman
said, "I also trust you not to break me . . . "
Tomahawkman blinked at that. "I never wanted to see you break," he said, voice
going soft, "I . . . I . . . " He looked down. "I think I've fallen in love with
you," he added, voice a bare whisper.
When he felt gentle hands on his face, tilting his chin so he was forced to look
at Rockman, Tomahawkman felt his digital heart skip a beat. Rockman had a tear
falling down his cheek.
"Toma . . . " Rockman said, voice soft, "I can see that you do care about me. If
you didn't then you wouldn't be willing to let me go without taking my body
first."
"To tell you the truth," Tomahawkman said, looking down a bit, "if you had said you had a lover I
would have never brought you here and let them humiliate you like that. I would
have let you go free and not claimed victory."
"I know you would have," Rockman said, voice a bare whisper as he moved closer.
"Rockman . . . " Tomahawkman said, "we don't have to do this."
"I trust you," Rockman said, voice still soft as he leaned ahead, gently pushing
Tomahawkman back onto the bed furs, "I trust you not to break me. I trust you
not to abuse what you feel for me."
Tomahawkman nodded, letting Rockman rest on top of him. He reached up and traced
a finger down the tear trail. "When we're done here I'm going to take you back
to Netto. We never have to see each other again."
"We have to see each other," Rockman said softly, "Netto-kun and Dingo will work
together again, I know it. But like this . . . I don't see why we can't."
"Y-you really mean it?" Tomahawkman asked, surprised that, after all that had
happened, Rockman still wanted to be his lover.
Rockman simply nodded.
Tomahawkman couldn't help but grin. "You have just made me the happiest navi
alive," he said as he gave Rockman a gentle hug and kiss, feeling tears of his
own form. Maybe now he could find someone to fill his ache, could help tame the
fires that burned deep within. Maybe now he could feel complete.
"I'm glad," Rockman murmured around the kiss as he reached up to gently caress
Tomahawkman's cheek.
Tomahawkman smiled at that, nuzzling Rockman's hand before speaking, the words
soft, old, but coming straight from his heart. "We met as enemies, yet
became friends, nothing shall ever come between us again. Nothing shall ever
sever our friendship, our bonds of fate," he said in his native tongue.
Curiously, though, Rockman shook his head. "No," he said softly, "not
friends, lovers."
Tomahawkman blinked. "You don't know our language . . . how did you know what I
just said?"
"I just do," Rockman said.
Tomahawkman blinked. "I just may make a brave of you yet. I hope Netto
doesn't mind adjusting to a wood-based navi instead of a neutral elemental one."
"I wouldn't mind learning a few new wood-based attacks," Rockman said, "but . . . I don't think I could change
that way. I'm used to the way I am."
Tomahawkman smiled. "Well, you don't have to change your elemental
alignment. I'm sure I can attune you to nature without that. But . . . first things first, though." He placed a gentle kiss to
Rockman's palm. "As lovers, like you said."
Rockman returned the smile, shifting his hand to trace one strip of the Indian
navi's war paint.
Tomahawkman let his fingers play over as much of Rockman's back as he could,
considering the other navi still had his armor on, scant though it was. Just the
soft, breathy moans when he hit a particularly sensitive spot as well as the
fact that Rockman had started to squirm against him made him harder than anyone
else ever had.
"Aren't we a bit overdressed?" Rockman asked after a while as he pulled back and
banished his own armor.
Tomahawkman nodded and sat, reaching around to lower Rockman's body suit,
nipping and licking at the digital flesh bared for him. He could feel Rockman
shifting against him, shivering every so often, soft moans escaping him. He felt
slender hands roaming along his body, lowering his body suit as well.
"You know," Tomahawkman said, voice soft, almost like a gentle breeze, "we don't
have to rush this."
"I know," Rockman said, voice equally soft, even as he continued to lower
Tomahawkman's body suit, touching the synthetic skin lovingly.
Tomahawkman couldn't help but shiver at the touch, something he had never
realized he had missed during the other times he had taken navis to his teepee.
Navis who had been bound and used as the Indian navi had seen fit, unable to
give him any pleasure back save their own bodies. Now, however, he understood
what he had done wrong. A part of him grieved for what had happened to the other
navis but another part understood that none of them had been the right one for him.
None of them could have tamed the fires inside of him, could have matched him in
battle. Not like Rockman could.
Feeling his soul lighten some, Tomahawkman teased a nipple with his tongue,
earning him a breathy moan. He had to smile, even as he felt Rockman arch his
chest to the point he thought it would snap when Toma bit down on the hard, pink nub before suckling on it.
"T-Toma . . . " Rockman breathed out.
Tomahawkman chuckled, pulling back. "Don't tell me you want more already?"
Rockman blushed deeply in embarrassment, or, at least, Toma thought he had. It
was hard to tell from how flushed his cheeks had become whether it was lust or
shyness.
"Ok, ok," Tomahawkman said as he shifted Rockman back, easing the rest of his
body suit down, "I'll give you what you want." He gave Rockman a loving kiss,
silently teaching him how to deepen it even as he gave him almost lazy strokes,
wanting this moment to last as long as possible.
Rockman mewled into the kiss, hips shifting as his hands almost frantically ran
along Tomahawkman's chest and back.
Tomahawkman let his touches become more firm, never rough. He had promised
Rockman he wouldn't break him and he was not one to go back on his word. After
all, honor ran as deeply for his Tribe, whether human or navi, as it had for
Rockman's own people.
"Toma, please," Rockman soon begged, "I-I want you."
"You'll have me," Tomahawkman said, "don't worry about it." He gave Rockman a
loving kiss before pulling back, reaching up to take a small jar from a rack
near his sleeping furs. He coated two fingers before sliding one into Rockman,
getting him ready for what was to come.
Rockman moaned deeply, his hips arching some as he spread his legs further
apart.
Tomahawkman leaned down and kissed Rockman lovingly as he stretched him, adding
a second finger, going slow for his lover's sake, especially where Rockman had
never actually slept with anyone before. He knew this was going to hurt and that
was the last thing he wanted to do to the small, blue navi.
When he thought Rockman was ready, Tomahawkman slid a third finger in,
stretching and gently thrusting his fingers, carefully watching Rockman's face
for any signs he should stop. He knew no matter how badly he wanted Rockman he
would stop if he knew it was causing him pain.
"T-Toma," Rockman almost whined, "please."
"Ok, ok," Tomahawkman said as he shifted Rockman's hips, leaning forward to
capture him in a deep kiss as he angled himself against Rockman's opening. He
removed his fingers and thrust in, holding Rockman against him, the pained moan
from his lover barely muffled by their kiss.
Tomahawkman didn't move, waited until the shivers had left Rockman's body, his
touches always soft and gentle as he caressed his lover's hair or cheek, wiping
away a stray tear. When he thought Rockman could handle it he began to move, his
thrusts deep yet gentle, almost teasingly so. He wanted this to last, wanted to
please Rockman until he knew he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted, most of
all, for Rockman to enjoy this as much as he was.
I'm sorry, Tomahawkman thought as he kissed Rockman lovingly, moaning
deeply against his lover's lips, I'm sorry for those I took out of lust and
broke. I know nothing will ever atone me from that, but it's true, I am sorry
and if there was anything I could do to make amends for it, I would. Trust me. I
would.
Rockman broke the kiss suddenly and buried his face into Tomahawkman's neck
with a soft mewl. "As long as you love me," he moaned out, "everything will be
ok."
Tomahawkman blinked, wondering just when Rockman became a mind reader as well. He nearly
stilled but didn't. "I'll always love you," he whispered into dark ashen-blue
hair, "no matter what my heart will always belong to you and no one else. I
swear on my honor and my life."
"Then you are forgiven," Rockman whispered back.
Tomahawkman felt a tear fall down his cheek at those four, simple words, as if
the weight of what he had done to the other navis fled completely from his heart
and soul, as if he had been cleansed of his past mistakes. As if Rockman himself
had healed the Indian navi's soul, replacing the guilt with pure love. Whether
it was a miracle from the Great Spirit or just sheer coincidence, Tomahawkman
didn't know and wasn't about to question it. All he knew was that he had never
felt this happy before in his life, had never felt a deep love for another until
now.
He reached down and began to gently stroke Rockman in time to his thrusts, not
even realizing that he was softly moaning the blue navi's name over and over
again as his own body began to shiver and tense some. When he felt Rockman bite
down on his collarbone before mewling sharply, Tomahawkman nearly cried out. He
could feel Rockman's hips arch hard, body pulsing around him. He continued to
stroke Rockman even as he thrust deeply into him a few more times before nearly
growling out his own release, body shaking hard as he almost clung to
Rockman.
Once the last spasm had ended, Tomahawkman pulled out of Rockman and nestled him
close, nuzzling his cheek. "Thanks," he said as he tried to catch his breath.
"No," Rockman said as he rested his cheek on Tomahawkman's shoulder, "thank
you."
Tomahawkman smiled as he lovingly kissed Rockman, gently caressing his cheek.
"You know, for a while I thought you were going to reject me."
"I . . . almost did," Rockman said, looking away.
"I would have understood," Tomahawkman said, "and I wouldn't have held it
against you, either."
"But you couldn't have realized that you really did love me," Rockman said, "if I had
turned you away it would have made you sad to think of what might have been but
could never be."
"Sad, yes, but like I said, I would have understood," Tomahawkman said, "I would
have worked with you anyway, like nothing had ever happened."
Rockman shook his head. "It would have affected your fighting," he said, "and .
. . it might have gotten you deleted . . . "
"Well, now I have a very good reason not to let myself get deleted," Tomahawkman said as
he gave Rockman a hug, kissing him deeply.
Rockman smiled into the kiss, his gaze seeming to say the same thing.
"When you're ready we can do this again," Tomahawkman said, "I promised you I'd
please you and I will."
"Just being here with you pleases me," Rockman said, a warm smile on his face.
Tomahawkman blushed. "Well, that too."
Rockman laughed softly. "I'd almost think all you ever think about is sex . . .
"
Tomahawkman felt himself blushing deeply at that.
Rockman laughed again before giving the Indian navi a kiss. "I don't mind," he
said, "just don't wear me out in case Netto-kun needs me."
"Well, the more we're together the more we can build your stamina," Tomahawkman
said, "I'd like to see how many times I can get you off before you can't take
it any more."
"Toma," Rockman said, ducking his head a bit.
"I do have to ask," Tomahawkman said, "why do you keep calling me that?"
"It's easier than calling you by your full name," Rockman said, "it's so long."
"I guess that's true," Tomahawkman said.
Rockman looked up almost seductively under his lashes. "Do you want me to stop
calling you that?"
"Nah," Tomahawkman said, shivering some just from the way Rockman looked at him,
"I kinda like it. Like some sort of pet name."
Rockman chuckled before blinking, his body going stiff for a moment.
Tomahawkman almost wondered what was wrong before feeling the familiar link to
his PET being opened, glad it was audio only and not visual or he would have one
hell of a time explaining to Dingo just what was going on. Not that he wouldn't
need to
let his operator know sooner or later but, right now, he preferred later.
"Tomahawkman, we have a problem," he heard Dingo's voice say, "seems like
someone's decided to attack the power plant. Netto's trying to reach Rockman but
he can't establish a clear connection."
Tomahawkman cursed softly. "While you two were busy I took him to the village.
That's why Netto can't contact him. I'll let him know what's going on and bring
him there."
"Ok," Dingo said, "and why is he at the navi village?"
"Long story," Tomahawkman said with a soft sigh before cutting the connection so
Dingo wouldn't hear.
"What is it?" Rockman asked as he shifted some, "why was Netto-kun trying to
contact me?"
"Looks like the honeymoon's over," Tomahawkman said as he shifted, giving
Rockman a loving kiss before slipping into his body suit, letting his armor form
around him, "someone's after the power plant and they need our help."
Rockman blushed deeply but nodded. "It's not like this is the only time we'll be
together."
"I know," Tomahawkman said as he formed his tomahawk on his arm. Once Rockman
was ready he slipped an arm about his lover's waist and teleported them to the
net. "Let's take care of this and then get back to business. I hate being
disturbed."
Rockman nodded, forming his buster. "Toma," he said, voice low, "I love you."
Tomahawkman smiled, stealing a quick kiss to Rockman's cheek, hoping Dingo nor
Netto were looking. "I love you too. Oh, and when we get back I'll see about
speaking with the Elders to get you made a member of the Tribe."
"Y-you don't have to do that," Rockman said with a deep blush.
"I do," Tomahawkman said, "what's mine is yours, forever and always."
"And what's mine is yours, forever and always," Rockman said, blushing a bit
more.
Tomahawkman smiled more at that. It was as close to proposing to Rockman as he
was ever going to get. "Now, what say we deal with this little problem?"
Rockman nodded. "If I get the last blow, guess who's going to be on the
bottom?"
Tomahawkman's eyes went wide at that. "No way," he said, "I always lead."
Rockman only laughed before dashing in, firing away with his buster.
Tomahawkman just stood there for a moment before giving off a loud battle cry
and rushing in as well. For a moment he thought that Rockman knew a bit more
about being in a sexual relationship than he was letting on. Either way his
heart and soul had been filled with a new fire, the ache of old gone, replaced
with the warmth and love he did feel for Rockman, a love he knew was returned
back to him, a love he would never take for granted and would always be willing
to give freely, no matter what.
