Hey guys! Just a small SoRiku (Soiku? Soku?) drabble I decided to pull up! It's currently 3:23 A.M., so I apologize for the somewhat abrupt ending. Anyway, I hope you like this little fuzzy story/drabble, and keep a look out for the first chapter of my (AU) Akuroku series that's coming very soon! Thanks and enjoy.

The car rumbled to a start, the familiar heat bursting through the vents, filling Sora's face with warmth against his cheeks, which had been reddened by the freezing wind in the night air. The sun had set recently, but the sky was already dark in Destiny Islands, which Sora and Riku had left only moments ago to head into town. Now they sit in the car they'd parked just at the shoreline of the city, looking onto their beloved islands, ready to go on their umteenth date. Because of their anniversary, however, Riku had planned an 'extra special' date tonight, as he called it.

After everything they'd been through, though, the two were able to safely return to the islands, where they moved on to not-so-casually date, launching into a passionate relationship which Kairi had almost set up, the girl set on the two of them belonging together. Now that peace had settled over the three best friends- at least for now- they'd decided to become an item, with much of Kairi's support, of course. Now, it had been a year, going strong with peacefulness, but the three close friends felt like it wouldn't last much longer.

Even so, Riku and Sora had been madly in love for the past twelve months, and they weren’t about to pass up their anniversary for a troublesome worry. As Riku pulled out, a slight smirk pulled onto his sharp face, his slender, angled turquoise eyes following suit. Sora merely glanced over at his boyfriends before chuckling- a bit giddily.

“What's that smirk for?” Sora asked, finally resting his bright, wide blue eyes permanently on the silver haired man. The boy couldn't hide his own smile, the grin sliding easily onto his cherubic face.

Riku merely reached over to caress Sora's cheek for a moment, a small, knowing chuckle of his own escaping his lips, “It's just that I just realized the irony of the date.” Riku shook his head, releasing his hand to place it back on the wheel, the car pulling up into the parking lot of what seemed like a very nice restaurant.

Riku pulled Sora in before disappearing behind the brunette. Before the youth had a chance to turn in confusion, a blindfold was placed over his eyes, leaving Sora completely blind. At this, Sora did make a swift turn, knocking himself off balance, a bit in aggravation at his own clumsiness without his sight.

Thankfully, though, Riku caught his upper arm, a wholehearted laugh filling the room. “Relax, Sora. It's a restaurant that blindfolds you, so you can focus on the taste of the food more. I just thought it was a cute idea we oughta try out.” Sora could hear the grin in his boyfriend's lips at the wonton face the blue eyed boy gave off.

“What no warning?” Sora's fake aggravation was given away by the laugh in his voice as the two were led to their table, something being placed in front of them, and a hand guiding his to the supposed bread sticks. Once nibbling on it, something struck Sora. “So I'm guessing the irony is that you have to wear a blindfold yet again, huh? Probably not the best memory to bring up on such a happy occasion, Riku.” Sora retorted in a lecturing voice, only to be cut off by a hand squirming it's way onto his own.

“That's not the point, though, eh?” That cocky grin in his voice again, “In any case, I think it's been long since peaceful for us around here. It's almost disappointing.” Just the small sigh he heard from across from him that punctuated the sentence was enough to drive Sora nuts.

“Sure, if you don't count Kairi and I's constant energy, I guess it's been nice around here. It's just good to be-” Sora was cut off, however, by a soft pair of lips on his own.

This kiss was in no way chaste, actually. Riku was quick to deepen it, and Sora was quick to respond. He wrapped tan arms around Riku's shoulders, the silver haired man's tongue invading his mouth, the usual tropical taste drizzling around his senses. Once the two pulled back, they were actually panting, Sora with a blinded confused look.

“And what was that for?” Sora wanted to lean in and get another, but instead he awaited his boyfriend's answer.

“Do I have to have a reason? You're just irresistible.” Another cocky grin just oozed through Riku's tone, and Sora didn't nee to see it to know it's there- and smile.
