"Welcome to the Spa of the Bantu's!" The bunny hatted Mintai welcomed the three visitors to Storm Pass's newest public attraction: The hot springs created by another Dungeon Fighter who dropped all his salamander flasks into Skasa's mouth which had an affect on the ice dragon. They say Skasa's blue tail was as red as the sun after that.
"Are you sure about this?" aliceaddict clutched her overnight sack and looked at the clearly expensive lodge. She had spent a fortune only two days before trying to upgrade her Terranite revolver. Kiri is a foul trickster she thought to herself. "We could always just go to Scoria and just sit there if we want to sweat.
TenPhoenix pushed past her. "Oh my gah! It's so gorgeous!" The flat-chested tomboyish battlemage lifted aliceaddict and shook her with excitement. "Look at that! And that! Ooh! And that too. Something smells good! There's food?! Oh my gah! Oh my gah!"
Tepet was the last to speak up. "Don't worry aliceaddict. I have connections. You'd be surprised at how far a bunch of Ryan cokes will get you around here. I did promise something else to Rino, but that's neither here or there right now." Her mechdroid, Bally toted her bag, struggling to lift it, despite it's weight.
"Mistress Tepet, I am not designed for this sort of lifting."
"Oh, hush Bally. You can take the night off and get yourself a polish." Tepet took the bag away from Bally and heaved it over her shoulder. "I think we deserve a little vacation, we girl dungeon fighters have to take time out to relax. Let the guys commit genocide and do a little work for awhile."
aliceaddict sighed. "Well, I suppose you are right. Ten, dearie...could you let me down? You are crushing me." She tried to wiggle free, but battlemages aren't known for being as weak as they look. "Ten!"
TenPhoenix was startled and dropped aliceaddict, who landed with a loud thud on the stone flooring. "Oh my gah! I'm so sorry aliceaddict. What should we do first? I smell cake.....strawberry shortcake...and" She sniffed the air and began drooling. "And barbeque He'tako. Yummy! Us Pandemonium girls loves us some wiggly things. I bet I can get 3 of them down my throat right now!"
"Wait, Ten!" aliceaddict reached out to grab the battlemage, but she was already gone. "I'll never understand mages." aliceaddict rubbed her temples, then glanced at Tepet. "Alright, you win. Let's have us a girl's night out."
Tepet squealed with glee and helped aliceaddict stand again. "Oh wow, look at the floor, it's so pretty." The floor seemed to be clear blueish white. A bit of frost quickly covered where aliceaddict had fallen.
Mintai handed them their robes and one extra for TenPhoenix who was long gone. "Yes, our flooring is made up of special ice stones. They are self-cleaning and self repairing. A lady named Iris Fortunesinger showed us how to cultivate them. It's one of our attractions. But be very careful. Make sure you stay on the rocks as you leave the spa. Not only is it therapeutic to the soles of your feet, but it'll keep you from getting stuck. It's very cold." Mintai bowed her farewell.
"What should we do first, aliceaddict?" Tepet swung an arm around her shoulder.
Aliceaddict finally loosened up and put her her around Tepet's shoulder in return. "Let's go get Ten before she eats this place out of business. Strawberry shortcake does sound pretty good right now."
The two female gunners laughed together as they went in search of their mage comrade.
