--Chaptor 1.-- A Wild Wagon
“Oh the things I do for coin,” Mezzick thought to himself. This was his first outing since coming to Orgrimmar, and he had to something soon lest the ‘watchful eyes of Garrosh’ would have him do something worse. He was conscripted into the warforce, but chose to do freelance expeditions instead as a hired healer, something “safe.” In any other circumstance his greatest danger would be the on the battlefield—but this was another story. It’s not that the Horde was comprised of unintelligent, clumsy brutes; their prowess on the battlefield showed how graceful even those lumbering Tauren could be. But it was quickly filling with hot-blooded youths eager for glory who loved to rough house.
“If only these boys where older,” He sighed. Mezzic wasn’t older, it’s just that the average Goblin tended to come with an upbringing of responsibility, and certain level of level-headedness. Instead of brutish wrestling, they’d stage a coup and stock buyouts. Essentially they’d flaunt their stock portfolios-- something that actually mattered. But out on a long caravan, there was little to do with the action house stocks under the hot Barrens’ sun. Worse yet, there was little to distract him and his "urges." The small team of two Orcs and a Tauren kept his head dizzier than the heat now that they have thrown off some of armor. Their huge bulging muscles, and their bulging... bulges...
"AAAAAHHHHH!" Mezzick screamed, between daydream and a half-stare, the huge green blur suddenly flew towards him. Ass first. Curling instinctively into a ball and bracing for impact, Mezzick waited. After the moment had surely gone past, he cautiously opens one eye to see the biggest Orc, Murtock, look down at him over folded-arms the size of Mezzick’s chest.
"What? Scared little one?” he contemptuously coo’ed. At well over 6 feet tall the Orc loomed over the tiny 2 foot Goblin.
Summoning an artfully practiced glare of pure disdain, Mezzick shot up to his feet (on the seat). With a stubby finger into the Orcs forearm he yelled, “I’ve ALREADY told you to sit down! I suggested the bigger cart over the covered one so that I wouldn’t have to smell you not so you'd have enough room to wrestle. And in this BLASTED heat--!--”
The wagon hit a bump, knocking Mezzick back into his seat, the Orc puts on a dumb smile letting himself fall forward. “Oh no! I’ve fallen whatever shall I do?” He begins to pull himself up but was stopped by a curious tickling in his nether regions. He would love to see the aggravated look in this arrogant pipsqueak's eye but the “forceful” kicking was hooking right into his perineum. Growling with pleasure he let it continue for a few seconds, but grew quickly aware of the eyes on his back and the probable embarrassment of such stimulation while in small loincloths-- he jumped off. His equally undressed brother, Tumack, breaks from his fit of silent laughter and starts heaving. He threw out a thick Orcish arm to Murtock’s broad shoulder and catches himself after seeing Mezzic’s irate expression. The more lithe of the two, Mutack still was a considerably larger when compared to a Goblin.
Mezzick’s heart was halfway through his neck, beating like a bird desperate to get out. The hot sweaty paradise that was Murtock’s crotch had left him blushing. He hoped his angry facade would mask the deep blushing and his shortness of breath. His screaming fit was cut short as he simply wheezed and mouthed some of the most terrible words he knew.
Both Orcs rebutted with a new burst of laughter.
“Do I have to come back there?” rumbled a deep voice carrying the reigns from the boot of the cart. The coachmen looked down from his perch. Mezzick thought it odd to see ANYTHING withstand the weight of a Tauren; especially the few planks that comprised the seat at the front of the cart and the small footboard with which the great beast rested his hooves. He spoke quite quietly but the bass still reverberated Mezzick’s chest calming it slightly. “If it wasn’t for this damned kodo, I’d be showing you guys what a real grapple looks like,” he dismissively called over his shoulder .
The two Orcs gave each other a small grin. “This is when their fangs look most wicked,” Mezzick thought as his heart sank. Together the two green oafs grabbed him turning his boisterous objection into a muffle of disapprovment. Tumack cupped a hand to help him shout over the din, “Do not trouble yourself, we will send an envoy IMMEDIATELY!”
Mezzick felt the sickening surge of momentum pull at his insides and then quickly equalize with gravity. For a small moment he felt weightless panic and screamed, “BY THE LIGHT!” With that the Goblin’s small body was instantly covered with a protective shield-- a barrier which floated weightlessly just outside of his arms and hands. He shielded is face as he smacked into the massive back of the Tauren. Luckily the shield effectively bounced him off causing no harm to the tiny Goblin.
The Tauren, who’s senses were both instinctual and honed in the wild, immediately tried to rear himself around. However the slight wood planks had trained none of its life had little ability to stop the hoof from breaking through it even if it wanted to. To’al toppled over himself desperately trying to cling to the perch. With a great shout he threw himself over edge only to barely notice the minuscule form cowering in fear below.
As To’al fell he twisted around as best he could hoping to fall around the Goblin and not on him. Mezzick flinched as the huge beast clipped his shield busting it. The resulting tremor sent the Goblin reeling, but he was quickly secured in the huge arms of the Tauren. The two Orcs almost withstood the initial impact, but all three had no way to predict the wheel busting off. On their asses the troop watched in horror as the cart unceremoniously tipped over, pulled by a panicked kodo.
Mezzick held strong to the seemingly endless flesh around him, hardened yet soft. The grip was controlled, shielding him but not crushing. He pushed his face into it, forcing his eyes shut afraid of what else would happen. He cried out to the light once more.
The rest of the party braced for impact. To’al closed his eyes, focused on not crushing his tiny new compatriot. Murtock Winced as the ground sped towards him; Tumack twisted around preparing a roll. He arched his back and threw his hands above him and, at the precise time, tucked in his knees. He flayed around oddly, floating in the air with the added spinning momentum. He panicked wildly trying to right himself.
Murtock opened his eyes to see that his sword and armor had perched itself ready to end his short life, yet here he was in the air simply staring at it. He decided to stay very still.
To’al finally released his arms unsure if he was even still holding the little creature. Weightlessness was an other worldly experience to a Tauren. He finally noticed Mezzick was plastered to his chest, shaking.
Mezzick was sick to his stomach with worry. He had no idea what he cast, he only knows he panicked. The only thing that mattered to him was burying his face into this mat of brown hair. The smell was musky and earthy. It was the only think keeping him from loosing all control of his emotions. The warm sun and callous breeze alerted him to a change. He looked into To’al’s ghastly face, which from this angle where quite different, His teeth didn’t mismatch, they just occasionally fall outside of the jowls. His otherwise beady eyes, are actually a rich brown, and not so lost when close up.
To’al stared at him for a moment. “Are you Okay?”
Mezzick stood to attention, in more ways than one. The deep voice came from all around him, shaking him thoroughly head to toe. “Oh! sorry,” he quickly parted himself from the Tauren and began to drift away. “Ngyea!” Immediately he sent out a searching hand not wanting to simply float off, the Tauren too seemed all to eager to grab onto the tiny creature. He clung to the massive finger. “Ha ha ah ha? Oh, this is, oh. It sure is. Ummmm. Okay, yes-- Okay. Ahem.”
Mezzick drew in a breath before he addressed the group as a whole, “It’s a spell I placed on us. Just concentrate on calming yourself and thinking about moving right side up. Once there I’ll release it.” Murtock was righted in seconds, much strain shown in his eyes as he started to relax. Tumack seemed to be twirling worse than before. To’al was starting to right himself but stopped as his arm began to pull away from Mezzick. The little Goblin shook his grip off of the Tauren and encouraged him to right himself first. Soon they all touched down, Tumack on his face, gently.
“I need to round up that kodo, poor thing is probably so scared it will never stop running.” He gestured to the group, “Get this cart back up...” To’al’s eyes panned across the wreckage and stopped at Mezzick, he skewed his eyebrows as if to say ‘can he even lift anything?’
“I’ll come with you, I have a soothing spell.”
“Little one, if it’s one thing I know its how to find and calm a beast.”
Feeling a hot rush to his face, Mezzick lashed out, “I’M NOT THAT LITTLE!”
