Author's Note:
Technically AU? The lead-up contains some vomiting, but the sex doesn't involve any of that, when it finally gets there. Sorry though, the sex will be in the next chapter. I have it about half done... but it cuts off where I can't really consider it a new chapter break. I like writing different versions of the same people. This G.T. Blitz has a somewhat different back story to what I came up with in another, much longer story I'm currently writing. Also, I seriously love writing Razer as his only real friend... it's like a kink. Title taken from a lovely song by Parov Stelar; though the word does fit G.T. nicely on its own. Also, I forgot how much I originally added in his last name, until I looked at it twice... *edits some of those out* Razer didn't look as sympathetic as G.T. Blitz thought his second in command should be. G.T. was at the Bloody Hook, sitting beside the elegant, dark-haired man. They were in the same booth seat, instead of G.T. sitting opposite, as per usual. He was currently slouching against Razer's shoulder, while determinedly clinging to the man's red coat lapels, more shit-faced than he'd allowed himself to be in a long time. Like any good TV host/crime boss, G.T. was relentlessly trying to wipe that slightly bored, 'here-we-go-again' expression off the other guy's face by breathing heavily and repeating himself. At least Razer was conscientious enough not to blow smoke in his eyes, but G.T. knew that Razer could do better than that. “My father was worthless!” G.T. said, “Mother always... always agreed. We both hated him. All of us did. The whole family; business or not. I tried to get him to like me, but nothing I did made a difference! He tried to convince her to have an abortion, before I was even born. Can you imagine? That's how much I meant to him. But she was the boss of this outfit. Before me. Back in the day. She refused! He owed her... Her? Him... he owed so much money. That's why they got married.” He squinted at Razer, trying to determine if anything had changed in the man's expression. It hadn't. Razer simply looked at him, waited a moment, then nodded for G.T. to go on, as blasé as before. “It was always about the money. We weren't poor. Far from it! But it was a loveless... Actually, I don't know why they got married. That's the story I heard from my uncles and aunts and cousins and their crocadogs. Wait, scratch that! Not the crocadogs,” G.T. said,” Crocadogs don't talk.” Razer nodded again. He looked away and thin gray wisps drifted up from his pursed lips and flared nostrils. When he glanced back, G.T. Blitz let go of his iron grip on Razer's swanky coat and grabbed Razer's chin, rubbing his thumb over the sleek goatee and fresh stubble that had grown over the course of the day. Razer flinched, but recovered quickly and didn't brush him off. The guy looked like a martyr, for some reason that G.T. couldn't guess at. G.T. groaned, giving up on Razer's disconcerting lack of concern, and reached for a glass in front of him, before he realized it was empty. Then he reached for the other man's drink and Razer grabbed his wrist. They stared at one another for a minute, before Razer let go of him, and G.T. thought he could see the sweat as it beaded on the other man's brow. “I meant nothing by it, honestly!” Razer said, “It's been a long day and... you look exhausted. Here. Let me pay the tab and I will drive you home. Maybe a soak in a nice hot bath, a light snack, then straight to bed, hmmm? How does that sound?” G.T. winced, trying to remember what his day had been like. It probably had been pretty rough, if he'd been drinking this much. Something about that new racing team being obstinate and frustrating. He nodded and rubbed at his forehead, as he yawned. It must have mussed up the position of his wig or something, because Razer smirked as he smoothed G.T.'s hair back into place. G.T. simply blinked as Razer put out the stub of his cigarette in the ash tray and shooed G.T. into getting up out of the booth. As Razer sifted through a pocket and wandered over to the bar, G.T. stood there, feeling dumb and listless as he watched his top lieutenant handling things for him. Precursors, was he drunk! He stumbled into a chair, trying to meet Razer halfway, and caught himself from falling by grabbing a hold of the very thing that had tripped him up. Razer clucked his tongue softly, chiding G.T. as he wobbled closer and Razer removed the rest of the distance between them. When Razer offered his arm for G.T. Blitz to hold onto, G.T. only glowered at the other man. That smug son of a bitch should be grateful that G.T. Blitz even wanted his help! “Please, don't give me that look,” Razer said, “It's hard to treat you with the utmost respect when you put yourself in such a deplorable condition. Besides, I would be useless if I were only a yes-man.” G.T. scowled but he knew that Razer was right. He grabbed Razer's arm, leaned heavily into the man's side, and let out a long sigh. The man patted his upper back, but G.T. was far from being soothed. “It's all that woman's fault,” G.T. said. “Which one?” Razer asked. G.T. pointed at the beautiful lady walking up to them, even as they spoke. She smiled and waved her fingers in the most delicate, cultured way to cover up how hard she was busting poor G.T.'s balls over this damn bet. If it weren't for such high stakes, G.T. might have enjoyed the current racing season. He hated losing money, but there was the thrill of surprise to make up for it. Except he couldn't even enjoy that, thanks to that dead piece of shit, Krew. “Oh, my goodness! Is G.T. all right?” Rayn asked, “He looks half-dead.” She was frowning with false concern. Oh, wait. None of them knew he was Mizo. Right. Right! Good thing G.T. hadn't blurted out anything in anger. Before Razer could cover for him, G.T. straightened up and grabbed one of her hands, shaking it with excessive, sloppy enthusiasm in an effort to hide all the hatred that so desperately wanted to leak out. Hmmm. He was extremely drunk. Maybe he could get away with vomiting all over that expensive suit she was wearing. G.T. was starting to feel queasy, partly from all that heavy perfume the bitch wore, and decided to keep her there in the hopes of achieving this brand new, absolutely brilliant idea. Razer might hate him for it, but fuck him! Razer should have enjoyed hearing about G.T.'s daddy issues, no matter how many times G.T. brought it up. “H—hey!” G.T. Blitz said, “It's good to have you over! What brings you to... this... where am I?” “What?” Rayn asked. She looked to Razer, who was mostly sober, and Razer shrugged. Luckily, G.T. managed to hurl right at that moment. Yes! Mwahahahaha! The other two covered their mouths in mild shock and an attempt to stifle a similar reaction in themselves. Razer promptly spun G.T. to face away from Rayn, before offering Rayn a handkerchief. G.T. began laughing, slapping his knee as if it were the funniest thing in the world, and only stopped when his laughter became a second round of vomiting onto the floor. Okay, maybe not as good of an idea now. That last batch had contained enough stomach acid to burn the back of his throat and sting his eyes. “Ugh... I'm sorry,” G.T. said, “Fuck, wait! No, I'm not sorry. Uhhh. This is complicated.” “Ewww!” Rayn said, “I think I'm sorry enough for the both of us!” Rayn began gagging in G.T. Blitz's general direction, but luckily Razer was on top of it. He shoved G.T. into a chair, out of the way, and Razer was either a stripper on the side or very accomplished in the bedroom, because he had Rayn's ruined jacket off her in a matter of minutes; turning the clean interior towards G.T. and the ruined exterior towards Rayn. She managed to get herself under control, before adding anything else to her coat, but she hugged herself protectively and stared at Razer, when she realized what had happened. “Hey! That's my jacket!” Rayn said. “I am surprised you want it back,” Razer said, “After what happened, I mean.” Rayn glared at both of them when Razer gingerly offered it to her. She grabbed it hastily and quickly regretted it, as vomit dripped onto her pants. Score two for G.T. Blitz! “Fortunately, I know a good dry-cleaner,” Rayn said, “A very good dry-cleaner. Eugh.” G.T. wanted to chuckle more, but he was feeling weakened and disgusted enough that he tugged on Razer's sleeve and groaned piteously instead. “That hot bath sounds really good right now. Take me home,” G.T. said. “I could use one myself,” Rayn said, “Would you mind giving me a lift? It's the least you could do, after ruining my evening!” Razer looked quite put upon as he turned to G.T. for an answer. G.T. knew that Razer would say no, if he refused, but at that point G.T. decided he didn't care. He'd had his revenge, petty as it was. “Yeah, sure? Why not. Hell, spend the night! I have room,” G.T. said. “Oh, I couldn't possibly impose. I'll simply go home and change,” Rayn said. Now G.T. was annoyed. Did this bitch not understand how generous he was being? He stood up and thrust an accusing finger in her direction. “Why? Is my place not good enough for you?” he asked, “You think I don't have any class, just because I'm a sports announcer?” Razer groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose, before lighting another cigarette and puffing on it furiously. G.T. glared at him next. “And you! What's the matter?” G.T. asked, “You suddenly think you're better than me? Just because you won a few trophies? Hah! You wouldn't be anywhere without me! None of you would. I'm the... I'm the king of racing.” Razer put on a strained grin and whispered behind the back of his gloved hand, but of course G.T. heard him. “My apologies, from the both of us!” Razer said, “He's had one too many.” Rayn nodded in agreement, as she gave G.T. a worried look. Bullshit! She didn't care. G.T. knew she thought he was some sort of greasy asshole because, well, he had been. “Oh! We'd best get you home then,” Rayn said. “And you!” G.T. said, “You keep thinking you're hot shit, sugar, but I'll keep being the actual hot shit in this town. Of sugar.” “You're delusional. I think?” Rayn asked. She squinted up into G.T.'s face and G.T. snorted dismissively, before realizing what a golden opportunity this could be. He had Krew's daughter here and she didn't know about his alter ego! Maybe he could talk her out of that bet without her realizing his motivation. He tried to straighten up and look more respectable, putting on the charm as he did a complete 180 in the span of only a few minutes. “Hey, listen, baby, baby! Sunshine! Forget what I said. And did. Let ol' G.T. treat you right! We'll sort this outing... sorting,” G.T. said, “You come back with me and I'll pay for the clean-up. If you spend the night, I'll make it up to you in the morning. I promise!” He winked in a manner that he hoped looked suitably flirtatious and gave her one of his winning smiles, but she only looked at him uncertainly and rubbed her arm, as if she was cold. Which she might be, considering that she naturally hadn't put her jacket back on. “I don't know about that, but... I'll consider it. On the way,” she said. G.T. chuckled and tried to hug her. Rayn gave him the most awkward smile, rather than fending him off, and G.T. Blitz was certain he'd won already. He winked at Razer, but Razer was busy rubbing his palm up and down his face. “Ahhh, my... dearest old friend,” Razer said, “I don't think that's very wise to offer—” “I don't care what you think!” G.T. said, “You drive and I'll do the thinking!” Rayn held up her hand, gaining their attention. “I nominate myself for all future, immediate thinking,” Rayn said, “Just in case! Heh heh. I am sober, after all.” She smiled more naturally that time, as she pointed at herself for emphasis. G.T. Blitz was beyond caring, as he gave Razer a fierce glare, so the other man would shut up and do what he was told. “Yeah, whatever,” G.T. said, “Just don't stink up the backseat with your puke coat. We're out of here!” Rayn looked shocked, but calmly followed them to G.T.'s beautiful luxury car. Razer already had a set of keys to the vehicle and went about unlocking it as they waited. G.T. had never hired a personal driver, preferring to stay behind his own wheels, but he'd given the man permission, long ago, to take over when he was incapacitated. There was no point in wrecking such an expensive car, for one thing. It was a sheer waste of money, even though he could have easily bought another, brand new and without any regrets. It was mostly a matter of pride. G.T. Blitz wasn't stupid enough to die in the most embarrassing, drab way possible; letting an ordinary road get the better of him, because he was in too much of a drunken stupor to handle it. G.T. wanted control at all times and deferring that power, as necessary, was part of that. Instead of taking shotgun, G.T. climbed into the backseat. He was seriously considering just lying down and dozing off, but Rayn didn't take the front seat beside Razer. She was giving G.T. some significantly curious glances and G.T. decided to make the most of it when she joined him. The back was spacious, with plenty of leg-room, accommodating a stocked mini-fridge and a small TV. If he wasn't driving, he might as well have fun somehow. They buckled in and Rayn draped her soiled coat, folded over to hide the mess, on the floorboard. G.T. pulled out a bottle of mineral water, which he poured into two glasses. He actually gargled his first cup, to remove the nasty taste in his mouth, rolling down the window briefly to spit it out when he was done, then hastily consumed a second and a third, only slowing down once he'd poured himself a fourth. It was thirsty work getting this wasted! Luckily he had two more chilled bottles, all ready to go in case he still wasn't sated. Rayn casually sipped her own water slowly, using the arm rest as a support for her glass, never taking her eyes off him. Normally he would have loved that, he was an unabashed attention whore, but it was becoming unsettling. G.T. noticed his driver keeping a close eye on him as well, using the rear view mirror, which also put him on edge. Razer was doing what he was paid to do; handling G.T.'s business whenever G.T. wasn't able to handle it directly. Razer was also one of those rare few who actually liked him, but he didn't care for the concerned attitude at the moment. G.T. was feeling stressed enough without Razer amplifying his need to feel worried and his buzz was starting to wear thin already, leaving him as irritable as before. G.T.'s ears drooped and he decided to lean back into the headrest, but even with his eyes closed, he could feel them watching him. There was silence for awhile. It wasn't a terribly long drive from the Bloody Hook to G.T.'s penthouse suite, but Razer was currently observing the traffic laws and the speed limit, which always made it take longer. “So, may I interview you?” Rayn asked, “Strictly off-the-record, of course.” This surprised G.T. enough that he sat up straight and stared, his ears pricked up with considerable interest. Rayn smiled, embarrassed but evidently curious as well. Coy, even. Was she flirting with him? Razer made a frustrated noise in the back of his throat and glared into the rear view mirror. “No interviews!” Razer said, “It's distracting.” G.T. snorted. Talk about a lame excuse! Who ever heard of a professional combat racer who fucked up at driving because his passengers were talking? Rayn apparently agreed, her expression turned imperious as she tried to stare the man down. “I wasn't speaking to you,” Rayn said, “I was talking to G.T. here.” “It's all the same to me,” Razer said, “Where am I dropping you off?” “No!” G.T. said, “She's coming home with me. That's final.” “I haven't agreed to anything yet,” Rayn said. Obviously his commanding tone had unnerved her. G.T. smirked as he took a swig of his water. Ahhh. It was always so much fun when he had them right where he wanted them. “I'll give you that private interview, if you do,” G.T. said. Rayn gave his offer some serious thought, trailing one finger along the top of her glass as she did, and finally bit her lower lip briefly, before nodding. “It's a deal, but only if we start the interview now,” Rayn said, “I don't want you finding a way to slip out of it!” Razer sighed and shook his head, but was intelligent enough not to continue questioning G.T.'s judgment. He simply flicked his ashes out the window in angry bursts and kept a close eye on Rayn. G.T. was certain the man's butterfly knife was at the ready if things got ugly, but why would they? “So, what's your first question?” G.T. asked. Rayn hummed and looked as if she were making a careful decision on what she should open up with. “Have you ever filmed yourself having sex?” Rayn asked. G.T. almost spit out his water at that and laughed. Razer actually looked shocked at her boldness and now even he seemed curious. G.T. had to recover before he could answer. Good thing this wasn't going to be aired anywhere. “Yes! Twice. But I've never watched either of them,” G.T. said. “Why not?” Rayn asked. That had left her puzzled. Apparently she didn't realize he'd done it more for the feeling of exhibition than for the need to see himself in the act. If he'd wanted that, he could have just gotten a mirror. G.T. shrugged, even though he couldn't keep a wry grin off his face. “I don't even watch my own show!” G.T. said, “I already know what happened. A good portion of it is off-the-cuff, because it's always hotter when you can roll with what you're given, but I write my own scripts and I still practice ahead of time. It's all in how you say it.” Rayn hummed softly and G.T. took another sip of his water, before adding more. “Besides, they were both one-night stands and I didn't want a scandal, so I destroyed the tapes,” G.T. said, “But I like the way you think. What's your next question?” Rayn nodded, simply thinking over what he'd said. She was silent awhile and G.T. became impatient. “You're not going to offend me, whatever it is. I've seen and heard it all. Ask me something! You're starting to lose your audience here,” G.T. said. Rayn smirked at that and pursed her lips. “Hrmmm. How are you feeling right now?” Rayn asked, “I'd hate to take advantage of you, because you're too wasted to know better.” “It's too late for that,” Razer said. G.T. glowered at the man for butting in and turned back to Rayn, feeling less smug than before. “I'm sobering up, but I doubt I'll be walking in a straight line any time soon.” “But how are you feeling?” Rayn asked, “I want to know about the real G.T. Not the man you've created for the show that you broadcast.” G.T. looked up at the ceiling of the car at that. He was sincerely pondering the question. It was a lot more intimate than he'd expected, and like himself, there was more to it than first met the eye. “You want to know why I got drunk tonight?” G.T. asked, “Is that it?” He felt her hand resting on top of his and he turned to face her immediately. She looked somber. “We can start there, if that's easiest,” Rayn said. G.T. leaned back into the headrest again, though he kept his half-lidded eyes on her. He knew Razer was probably giving him some earnest glances, willing G.T. not to spill his guts, but G.T. wasn't so far gone that he'd mention everything that was troubling him to just anyone, let alone Krew's daughter. “I'm under a lot of pressure this season. The network always wants more viewers than it did last year, and being forced to take on that stupid co-host hasn't helped. Even if he gets the ratings up, that means he's stealing my limelight!” G.T. said. Rayn accepted this readily. It was definitely all true, even if it wasn't the whole truth. She didn't move her hand or look away. “Is there anyone special in your life?” Rayn asked. That was an easy one, even if the answer was depressing. “No.” “Why not?” Rayn asked, “You must have hundreds of fans. Even without them, it can't be hard. You're wealthy... handsome. Very busy in the racing season, but surely not during the off-season.” G.T. Blitz snorted at that. The age old question regarding his bachelorhood. His mother pestered him about it to no end. “You think I'm gay?” G.T. asked. Rayn shook her head, but didn't look shocked by the suggestion of it. There was a chuckle from the front seat, and G.T. gave Razer a warning look. Razer recognized it as lacking in professional oomph and decided to ignore it. “I'd be much happier if that were true,” Razer said, “I think it would make my job... as your friend, ten times easier.” That, on the other hand, did embarrass G.T. Blitz. He had experimented a little in his college years, getting a taste of man on man action, long enough to be certain that he preferred women, but wouldn't mind some continued dalliances on the other side of the fence every now and then. He was secure enough in his masculinity that he could wear pink and purple in public, and he could certainly admit that Razer was a fine piece of ass, though that didn't mean he wanted Razer. He'd never tried getting his top lieutenant into bed and Razer had never shown any sexual interest in G.T. before, though that could have been because the other man preferred to keep his life as uncomplicated as possible. Even so, G.T. could count Razer as being the closest he had to a good friend, which was somewhat disheartening. He was never certain if it was out of pity that Razer had decided to go that extra mile, but he generally appreciated their relationship, even if it made things awkward whenever G.T. had to let his decisions as a major crime lord override his feelings as a friend. It also unnerved him whenever Razer had the balls to tease him openly, since it happened so rarely. “Shut up!” G.T. said, “I wouldn't fuck you, even if I was!” “That changes nothing, commissioner,” Razer said, “You need to get laid a little more often, during the racing season. It would relax you.” Rayn removed her hand from G.T.'s, to cover her grin and stifle a chuckle, her other hand still occupied with her now empty glass. G.T. wasn't certain what annoyed him more; that she'd stopped touching him or that she was laughing at him. In spite of that, he decided to refill her glass and his, using a fresh bottle of mineral water. He was going to be peeing a river when he got home, but he didn't care. The night was warm, he was incredibly thirsty, and things were starting to heat up metaphorically and literally with these two in such an inclosed space, egging him on. “You know, I could help with that,” Rayn said, “Maybe not tonight, but in the near future, I hope.”While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error.
