(A/n):Before we begin, for those of you unfamiliar with this title, I will be explaining what exactly is Danganronpa. Danganronpa is a video game that sells exclusively in japan and goes on the psp system. The game takes place at an elite high school called Hope's Peak Academy (希望ヶ峰学園 Kibōgamine Gakuen?), which accepts talented "Super High School Level" students (超高校級 chō-kōkō-kyū?) of the highest caliber in various fields each year, along with one average "Lucky Student" who is selected by raffle.[4] Makoto Naegi, a fairly optimistic but otherwise average student, is chosen as one of these students.[4] However, when Makoto arrives outside of the gates of the Academy, he loses consciousness and wakes up inside the school, where he meets fourteen other newly picked Super High School students who are in the same situation as him. It is there that a sadistic, remote-controlled, monochrome bear named Monokuma appears before them, telling them they will be imprisoned in the academy for the rest of their lives. He offers only one way for students to graduate from the academy: murder another student and get away with it.
When a murder occurs, a "class trial" (学級裁判 gakyū saiban?) is held, in which the remaining students must determine amongst themselves who the killer is. If the students can successfully determine the true culprit, that person is put to a gruesome and ironic execution for disrupting school order. However, if the wrong accusation is made, then the true killer will be allowed to leave the academy whilst everyone else will be put to death. In a place where anyone could be a victim, everyone is a suspect and no one can be trusted, it is up to Makoto to survive these class trials and solve the true mysteries of Hope's Peak Academy. I am only explaining this to let you know where the story takes place. The events that transpire in this fic are in no way related to the game’s storyline. This is by far one of the most awesome games I’ve seen despite the messed up shit that occurs during the game. I highly recommend this game to be viewed.
The main character of this fic will be the “Super duper high-school level luckster”, Makoto Naegi. I recommend that anyone unfamiliar with this game look at the walkthroughs on youtube.
Now that we got that business out of the way, it’s time we get down to the real story. WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DGR1!
After three days of being locked up in the school, three students have bit the dust.
Sayaka Maizono: Super Duper High School Level Idol
Status: DEAD
Cause of Death: Murdered by Leon Kuwata
Junko Enoshima: Super Duper high school Level Fashion girl.
Status: DEAD
Cause of Death: Murder by Monokuma after breaking the rule against harming the headmaster.
Leon Kuwata: Super Duper High-School Level Baseball player
Status: DEAD
Cause of Death: Executed by monokuma after being found guilty of murdering Sayaka Maizono.
Now, only thirteen students remain.

So far there have been two executions so far, and the pressure has been getting to Our famous Luckster. But he wasn’t going to let that stopped him. he stayed optimistic and was determined to help his friends get through the tough times.
Soon monobear had appeared on the screen yet again.
“Ding-dong-ding dong-“ Monobear chimed as the screen had came on.
“Good morning students. It is now 7a.m. let’s work together to make today the best day it can be!”
The screen has then turned off. naegi had rose out of bed and quickly slipped into his shoes and left the room.
Naegi thought that he should at least feel optimistic to brighten everyone’s mood.
Soon he had came up to the cafeteria. When the whole thing started, the high-schoolers decided to meet up in the cafeteria every morning.
“Morning guys, what’s up? Huh?” Naegi had soon noticed that there were olnly two people in the cafeteria besides himself ishimaru and yamada.
“Hey… where is everybody?” Naegi asked curious of his other friends dissaperance.
“Oh good morning naegi, I assume your suspicious of the mission members of our party as well?” yamada asked as naegi only sweat dropped at yamada’s game refrence.
“Uh yeah.. do you guys know where everyone went?” Naegi asked as ishimaru rose from his seat.
“We were wondering the same thing Mr.Naegi. it’s been awhile now and they still haven’t show up. Perhaps they may have overslept?” Ishimaru suggested.
“Or maybe another murder already happened.” Yamada added already shaking in his shoes.
But before naegi had a say togami had entered the lunchroom. Though it looked as if he was spooked by something. Which is notihg less of surprising since togami rarely shows any signs of fear at all. Though he quickly was snapped from his thoughts when naegi greeted him.
“Morning togami.” Naegi greeted.
“Huh… oh… morning, or whatever…” Togami spoke coldly as he tried to put on a straight face.
“Is… there something wrong?” Naegi asked as togami had sighed.
“I’m fine… just a little, unsettled is all. When I was walking from the library I saw kirigiri going into the gymnasium with the other girls.” Togami explained surprising the men.
“Kirigiri and the girls going into the gymnasium? Why would they be gathering there? I don'’ think monobear said anything about an announcement..” Naegi said as ishimaru quickly grew suspicious.
“I thought it was a bit suspicious as well. But before I went through the doors, I could hear them discussing, a plan of some sort…” Togami had hesitated at the last part as if something about it was bugging him. but before he could ask him Ishimaru was the first to speak up.
“Well then were heading to the gymnasium. Whatever their planning it’s only fair that we learn what it is as well. We can’t be too careful around women you know. From my experience, I’ve learned that intelligent women know how to play with a man’s heart. And given our current situation I wouldn’t put it passed them to stab a man’s heart as well.” Ishimaru spoke making naegi a bit uneasy.
“Don’t you think your overthinking things a bit? I mean there is a chance they could be just chatting about.. girl stuff.” Naegi suggested causing him to get blank stares from everyone.
“Eh….forget I asked..” Naegi chuckled nervously. In reality it was probably stupid for naegi to ask a question like that. given some of the girls… dynamic personalities, it would be highly unlikely that they would be talking about girl stuff. It was a small possibility but given the circumstances not many of them would probably be doing such a thing.
“Well Master Naegi, I had no idea you had such an interest in the female body.” Yamada began making naegi blush in embarrassment.
“W-what? it’s not like that I swear! It was only a suggestion is all.” Naegi said defensively.
“We can focus on things like that later. quickly men, to the gymnasium!” Ishimaru shouted as he rushed out of the cafeteria.
“Well master naegi, it seems as though the only way for this story to continue is to go to the gymnasium area. I will see you there.” Yamada had soon left as well only leaving naegi and tagomi.
“well, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to see what there thinking about. maybe they thought of a plan to get out of here. Kirigiri must have been planning something in secret that involved us not knowing about it. Maybe because she could only trust the girls at this point. Though it does leave me worried as to why she wouldn’t at least tell me. Even though I haven’t known kirigiri for that long, I still thought of her as a friend.” “Naegi continued to think as he began heading for the exit of the lunchroom.
But before he pushed the doors open togami had stopped him.
“Naegi, wait.” Togami said as he turned his attention to the luckster.
“Hmm? You need something togami?” Naegi asked.
“Don’t take this out of generosity or anything, I still plan on being the last man standing, but, I feel like I should warn you about the girls so called plan.” Togami began making naegi turn around completely.
“Warn me? About what?” the luckster questioned now a bit more worried then before.
“Their so called plan, it has no intention of getting us out of here whatsoever.” Togami spoke only confusing naegi.
“What. their plan doesn’t involve a solution to get out of here? Then… what are they planning, and if It not about the academy then why should we interfere in their personal business.
“Because their plan involves “utilizing” all the males here..” Togami finished only making Naegi more worried then nervous.
“Their plan doesn’t involve us leaving the academy, but it involves utilizing all of us?” naegi questioned as he began to ponder over how togami said utilize.
“Weather you want to check it out or not is of no concern to me. But I suggest you look anyway to get rid of any lingering suspicious. Just be prepared for what they have to say..” with that togami had pulled up a chair and sat down and began to think in silence leaving naegi standing there in suspicoun.
“Just what…. are they planning anyway. if it’s nothing too serious then I shouldn’t just barge in interrupting there personal business. Then again, if it’s something that can even make togami shake, it must be something serious…” Naegi thought as he left the cafeteria and headed down the hallway.
As he began to walk for the time the hallway was empty and was eerily quiet. As he continued to get even closer to the gymnasium he only grew more and more worried as he was trying to guess of what the female half of the students could be planning at a time like this. Though his thoughts were soon interrupted as he soon heard the sound of sandals hitting the ground.
As he tried to figure out the source, as soon as he went through the next double doors he was met into a collision course with the super high school level fortune teller hagakure.
“Ow! That really smarts man…” hagakure had complained as he rubbed his head but then had quickly noticed who he bumped into.
“Oh naegi it’s you.” hagakure said as he quickly got on his feet.
“hagakure…, why...are you running?” naegi asked as hagakure began jogging in place.
“sorry man, but I really can’t stay to talk right now. I’ll catch ya later ok?” hagakure said quickly as he began running again.
“Even hagakure’s worked up, what the heck is going on here?” Naegi spoke as he got back up on his feet and headed towards the gymnasium.
“What’s got hagakure so worked up?… I need to find out what’s going on..”
Soon naegi finally made it to the double doors leading into the academy’s gymnasium.
He had peeked through the window before he went in and saw that all the girls were there. Except for sakura for some mysterious reason.
Other then her all the females who weren’t executed or murderd yet were all in there.
“Celes, Fujisaki, fukawa, asihina, and of course kirigiri, along with owada, ishimaru and yamada. And when naegi entered the room that brought the count up to nine.
“Ah, here he is.” Kirigiri spoke as she saw the luckster enter the gymnasium.
“Owada, you’re here too?” Naegi asked already noticing the biker leaning on a nearby wall.
“Yeah I’m here. I only came in here begauce hakagure came out of here sweating like he was in a sauna a few minutes ago.” Owada said as naegi remembered bumping into hagakure not too long ago in the hallway.
“Now that naegi is here, mind explaining what is it that you ladies are planning?” Ishimaru asked without hesitation.
“Hmm, I don’t know, may I ask why should we tell you?” Celes questioned calmly as she took a sip of her tea.
“Well for starters, I find it a bit suspicious that all of you didn’t show up in the cafeteria for a long time. I would have thought you would have just slept in, but the chance of all of you girls sleeping in at once is highly unlikely. Especially with togami telling us about your little meeting here.
“So togami told you huh? I guess there was someone outside when I heard a knock on the door.” Said fujisaki.
“Oh no! my white knight was here and I just shunned him! I don’t deserve to live!” Fukawa complained already thinking about how her so called white knight would shun her for eternitiy.
“Calm down fukawa, I’m sure that’s the least of his worries.” Said kirigiri making the luckster a bit suspicious.
“I already tried asking them too, but they wouldn’t spill anything until naegi got here.” Owada added making naegi let down a small gulp.
“W…why would they be waiting on me…?” Naegi thought nervously as ishimaru spoke up again.
“Anyway, we deserve to know. Don’t think badly of me but I’m not sure if I can trust some of you lot in this room. Just think, that sadistic bear probably has a whole safe of dirt on every one of us. And it doesn’t help my conscience knowing that I could be overpowered by a surprise ambush.” Ishimaru explained as yamada began shaking nervously.
“Y-your right. That must be it! That could be the only reason why there all in here. There all planning to pick us off one by one. And with most of us gone there will hardly be anyone to help when the class trials come. Total female domination! It’s episode 57 of super hero space man all over again! rise of the alien amazons!” Yamada began cowering behind ishimaru in fear.
“I… don’t think that’s what there planning to do yamada..( at least I hope not..).” naegi began as he turned his attention to kirigiri. Though I have to agree with ishimaru on this, we can’t be too careful about this sort of thing. We never know who may have the guts to go out and kill somebody next, and the thought of a unified group only targeting us would be unsettling…” naegi finished as fukawa had began giggling insanely.
“Aw, so little naegi wants to hear our plan? Are you sure you can handle it? You might not be able too. Are you going to scream? Please say yes.” Fukawa continued already making naegi uneasy.
“Enough with the mind games alright? Just tell us what you guys were planning and we’ll leave” Owada Chimmed in as ishimaru nodded in agreement.
“Well, you did say you’d explain when the luckster was in the room. Now that he’s here should we really tell them?” Celes questioned as she turned to kirigiri.
“I suppose we should, they would find out sooner or later.” Kirigiri added as naegi had began noticing the facial expressions on some of the girls.
Fukawa was giggling insanely again as asahina and fujisaki were blushing a bit redder then usual and celes seemed to be savoring the taste of her tea more then she usually would.
All of this made the luckster uneasy as he began thinking of possible reasons in his head as he awaited for kirigiri to explain.
“Well, go on then spit it out!” Ishimaru persisted. But that comment seemed to only made fukawa giggle even more.
“What’s so funny?” Ishimaru asked starting to get annoyed by her laughter. But before he could get into an argument kirigiri had began to speak.
“Well, I guess there’s no getting around it. I’ll tell you.” Kirigiri began as all the boys stood attentive waiting for their explanation.
“As we all already know, we have yet to find a way to escape this school. It all likeliness, it seems that our only option is to find the headmaster. And we don’t exactly know how long that’s going to take.
“Yeah, we got that part.” Said Owada.
“As much as you all don’t want to hear it, only more murders will occur from here. That much is true. Even though you think that no one here will fall prey to monokuma’s trap, I highly doubt that the rest of us will make it out of here alive. Kirigiri continued. So, we’ve decided…..if we’re going to die, we might as well not leave without experiencing what all humans crave.
“Huh….what all humans….crave?” Naegi asked confused.
“Tell me Naegi, have you ever heard of the term…”Virgin?” Kirigiri asked. The question had dumbfounded him, but fukawa looked like she was ready to burst with laughter, fujisaki was sweating up a storm as she could well be mistaken for a tomato now and asahina had bit her thumb as she was turning increasingly red as well. The other males seem to know what it was as they all shared looks of shock and confusion.
“A…virgin?” Naegi asked. “Let’s see…..virgin…virgin…virgin…. Naegi thought. His mind felt a biz fuzzy as he couldn’t exactly fully access the memory that he learned the word. But he had remembered an important part of it. A virgin is someone who has yet to have sex…if I remember correctly. When they do, it’s often referred to as ‘losing your virginity or popping your cherry.’ Wait….Why would kirigiri asked about that?” Naegi asked as his face begun to turn red as he realized what she might be driving towards. No….no way…..she can’t be considering….Naegi thought in disbelief.
“Seems like Naegi found out.” Fukawa said while still trying to contain her giggles.
“Kirigiri, what are you girls planning?” Naegi asked as he had took a couple of steps forward.
“Let’s say, this could be seen as a rare case of jungle fever….She replied. Or should I say academy fever? Me and the others have decided in hosting a little game. The mission is to rid ourselves of our virginities before we have to deal with the next murder. A game of cat and mouse will be ensued. The boys are the mice, and the girls, as stereo-typical as it sounds, are the cats.
‘Wait..rid ourselves of our virginities? Asked ishimaru. But….then that would mean you are aiming too…..!
“That’s right! Fukawa chimed in. That means if we catch you, then we’re going to have sex. Carnal-filling, hip-thrusting, sloppy sex!” Fukawa screamed as she began to blush heavily. Not as much as fujisaki though, but enough to show she was already thinking perverted thoughts. Basically about Togami.
Naaegi could hear the words loud and clear, but he was having trouble processing them right. If this was really the cold and distant kirigiri he had come to know, then she was speaking the truth. The question is why?
(Enter Theme Song)
The screen changes to black as a colored bullet with all the characters faces on it crashing into a glass wall revealing the image of a laughing Monokuma.
DANGAN RONPA said a distorted computer voice. As the images rolled onto the screen,
Leon and Ishimaru had appeared on a stage as Maizono and Junko stood in the background.
Leon: Reality slips, far away.
Fiction comes alive, we start to play it.
Hope is no more behind a closed door as we drift away from where we were before.
Hope and Hopelessness become one.
It’s all meaningless, we’ve already begun.

The song ended with a spinning image of the trial room and monokuma dancing in a fading image.
Naegi couldn’t think of what to say next. Luckily, Ishimaru was the next one to speak.
‘Are…are you INSANE?! He shouted red in the head. Need I remind you we are trapped in this school with a homicidal maniac who seeks to see us kill ourselves, and your suggesting we waste time by….by…..He stammered.
“By going at it like rabbits?” Fukawa giggled.
“I..i absolutely refuse to take part in this little game of yours! Ishimaru said sternly. I will save myself for the maiden of my choosing. Not to one of you just because you got the fever!
“Yeah….funny thing about that…it really doesn’t matter if you agree too it or not.” Fukawa said.
“Huh? What’s that supposed to mean?” Ishimaru asked.
“Whether you want to or not is none of our concern. The fact of the matter is we will have our way with you. Even if it is by force.” Celes said calmly as if it was as simple as that.
‘But…then that’s rape! That’s even worse!” Shouted Ishimaru.
“Is it really considered rape if you’re enjoying it?” Celes asked.
‘Don’t try to switch this subject! The point is, If you are going to take my seed, then you will have to take it from me!” Ishimaru shouted.
‘Oh don’t worry. We fully intend to do so, Celes replied.
“This…this can’t be real! Yamada said now officially freaking out. My heart belongs to maidens of the second dimension! If I allow these sirens to have their way with me….NO! I will not be prey to your desires! NEEEEEEVEEEEER! Yamada said as he had made a mad dash out of the gym to another part of the school.
“Don’t worry about him, we’ll deal with him later.” Said Celes as she had set down her tea cup.
“You…you’re actually serious about this?” Naegi questioned with a slight tone of fear in his voice.
“It’s true Naegi. I have to go with kirigiri on this one,” added Asahina.
“But……” Naegi stammered.
“Naegi, I suggest you, as well as ishimaru and owada start running.” Kirigiri said
“Huh? What the hell do you mean by that?” Asked Owada.
“We’re giving you a five minute head start. Kirigiri answered. If you can avoid getting caught by 10:00 P.M, Then the game will be over. You can decide what to do after that. There will be time-outs during times such as eating and bathing. If one of us manages to catch you, then if you do not comply willingly, we will force you into it. Now, will you choose to run, or stay here and pleasure all of us at once?
Naegi was…..speechless to say the least. What was going on? After seeing her performance in the first investigation and the class trial, he didn’t expect this kind of thing from her. As he continued to think, he heard the doors slam open. Turning around, he saw that Ishimaru and Yamada had bolted leaving him in their with the four girls. He had started to sweat as Fukawa had called his name.
“Naegi….Naegi…..” She whispered in a singsong fashion. He had nervously inched his head around to see the females had now gained lustful looks in their eyes.
If you haven’t began running yet, then that means you must want to stay.” She said as she inched closer to him causing him to back up a bit.
“Wait….wait hold on! I’m not ready for this kind of thing yet!! Naegi said backing up to the doors.
Tick tock tick tock. Clock’s ticking Naegi. Said Asahina. Three minutes to go, then your ours. Naegi didn’t think any more about it. The thought of being tossed between the four of them didn’t seem too pleasant. He had no idea how sex worked. Seeing as they were waiting for the moment where he ran out of time to run, he decided to do just that and had dashed out of the gymnasium and immediately began looking for a place to hide.
“Kirigiri had checked her watch and had watched it tick the time away as it was now 7:25.
“Okay, Let’s get started.” Kirigiri said as a small smirk grew across her face.
The game of cat and mouse had now begun. As naegi continued to run he knew that if he wanted to avoid getting pulled into such a situation, he’d have to find someway to survive till midnight. He still couldn’t believe they were actually doing something like this in their current position.
But what scared him the most that a part of him knew that some of the girls plan actually made sense. It was true that only more murders would occur no matter what. so they wanted to go ahead and get their cravings out of their system. Was it to focus? Or because of pent up stress. Even though the plan made some sense, being forced against his will to do something like that didn’t sit well with the luckster. After Leon’s execution, the second floor to the school had been unlocked. Naegi had the choice to either hide somewhere on the first and second floors. It was obvious that he couldn’t hide in his room. A couple of them would probably snooping around to check for him. The wise decision was to hide somewhere with a lot of space and take a while to thoroughly inspect.
“The Library!” He said as he had headed to the second floor and found the room he was looking for. The library’s shelves were lined with thousands upon thousands of books. None of which held any information that might have been helpful at the time, but it did make for a great hiding spot. Naegi had looked around the place until he had found a space concealed within the bookcases. It seemed to be a small reading area with a green bean bag chair. A comfortable place to hide if any. Naegi had checked left to right to make sure no one had saw him and had sat down in the reading area and let out a sigh.’
“Well, never thought I’d spend my day like this. Naegi sighed. What could have kirigiri possibly have been thinking to come up with the plan like this? I feel like i’m the victim of someone’s weird fanfiction.” Naegi had sat against the bookcase and had looked up finding a book that was shelved improperly. It was hanging out from between the books like a sore thumb. Feeling curious, he had got up and inspected the book. But, his face turned red when he had found that the book was actually a pornographic magazine. The cover had the picture of two naked women holding each other in a rather…intimate fashion.
‘Ah!..This….this is…..!” Naegi stammered. But before he could utter the ‘P’ word, Monokuma had appeared and had snatched the book away.
‘Hey hey hey! That’s not the type of material young’uns like you should be looking at! Monokuma said as he had rolled up the magazine and had held it under his arm.
“Y’know, I’m actually glad you’re here. Scary as it sounds.” Said Naegi surprising the little bear.
“Hmm, you are? He asked. Hahaha! I knew it! It was only a matter of time before you started warming up to me. The bear laughed. And how could you not? Since I’m sooooo adorable?
“Actually, I wanted to talk to you about the little game the girls are hosting.” Naegi said.
“You mean that little game where the girls plan to take your precious flowers?” Monokuma asked with a smile. Oh, I see! Little Naegi boy wants to know all about the birds and the bees. I guess it’s no surprise. Considering the dirty little ideas they’re starting to form. Naegi had twitched nervously after hearing that. He was already having trouble forming ideas of what they have in mind.
“Look, you can’t allow this can you?” Naegi asked.
“Huh? I can’t?” Monokuma asked acting confused.
“You said so when you had showed us the sauna didn’t you? You said you had no intention of seeing us take part in such vulgar acts.” Said Naegi.
‘Tsk, tsk, tsk. Monokuma clicked his tounge. Naegi, Naegi, Naegi, I don’t know how you even made it to high school. You should always listen to your superiors.
“Huh?” Naegi asked confused.
“I said I had no intention of seeing what you do off camera,. Monokuma continued. And the truth is, I actually considered going against Kirigiri’s little plan.
‘You….you did?” Naegi asked.
“Yep. But then I saw the way you all squirmed at the very thought of it. Monokuma continued. I honestly didn’t think that sex was one of the only things not on your minds. Seeing the Despair that stirs up when your being hunted like animals only to be forced into the most perverted situations that comes into your little minds. Monokuma continued as he started to grow red and began to drool.
“You can’t be serious?! Your actually allowing this?!” Naegi asked a bit shocked.
“What’s the matter Naegi? Not ready to lose your purity yet? Monokuma asked in a teasing manner. Weeeeell, if your so intent on avoiding them, I’m goanna give you a break.
“Huh? What do you mean by that?” Naegi asked.
“For the duration of this little game, the class trial room and the elevator will be accessible as hiding locations. Just think of it as a little gift from me to you. aren’t I such a nice guy? Don’t go wasting it now.” With that, Monokuma began walking away but he had stopped before he had left the reading area Naegi was in and had turned back around to say….
‘Oh, and I’m looking forward to seeing the moment where you finally become a man.” Monokuma laughed causing Naegi to grit his teeth. With that, the sadistic little bear had walked out of sight. That bear just loved messing with him for some reason. He had no idea why, but he just did. He decided to let it go and lay back in the beanbag chair. He figured he might as well preoccupy himself with some reading material. He had reached for a brown hard-back cover, but hesitated for a bit. He was a bit worried that any more secret magazines may have been hidden in the book case.
Luckily, he had pulled out a mystery novel. He let out a sigh of relief and opened the book. Since he was working to solve the mystery of the school, he’d figured he began getting some help by researching another. Time ticked away as the clock had now struck 10:45. That means he’s been in the library for approximately 3 hours and 20minutes. Naegi hadn’t realized he had been in the library for so long. He was too enthralled by the mytery book. With a satisfied smile, he had closed the book and placed it back on the shelf. As soon as he did, he felt a strong rumble in the pit of stomach.
He realized he hadn’t eaten for a couple of hours. He had attempted to stay away from the cafeteria in hopes of avoiding the girls. Kirigiri said that time-out would have been called whenever they needed to eat, but he was worried that he wouldn’t even make it to the fridge before getting forced to the ground and….and….No. He needed to keep his strength up. If he saw the girls there. He would find a way.
But just as Naegi had prepared to leave, he had heard the sound of someone’s footsteps.
“Someone’s here!...” He whispered to himself as he had stuck to the bookcases concealing his presence. He had tried peering through the books, but it was too dark in between the books to make out a proper identity.
“Who is that? Is it Kirigiri? Or Fukawa?” Naegi asked nervously as he had tried to inch closer to get a better look. But as he did, a book had slipped from the case dropping to the floor with a thud alerting the unknown student to his presence.
“Shit! Why does there have to be so many hardback books in the library?” Naegi cursed. The person had followed the sound of the dropped book and had found the way to Naegi’s secret reading area. He had backed up and began sweating feverishly wondering who it was that had found him out. But, to his relief, it was only Hagakure.
“Oh, Naegi! Said Hagakure in surprise.
“It’s only you hagakure…..Whew…” Naegi sighed.
‘So, this is where you’ve been hiding, huh? A secret spot in between the bookcases. Smart.” Hagakure complimented. How have you been holding up so far?
“Well, I managed to distract myself with some reading for a while. Naegi answered. But, I got hungry, so I decided that I would make a trip to the cafeteria.
“I see. An original case of the Muchies huh? Hagakure asked. Well then, why don’t we go together? With the two of us, one of us can be on look out while we raid the fridge.
“Sounds like a plan to me. Naegi agreed.
“But, make sure to watch your step, bro. Too much noise and you could alert the ladies to our location.”
It’s not like you need to tell me twice. Naegi thought. And so, Naegi and Hagakure had made their way to the cafeteria while carefully treading the halls keeping a lookout. But as they did, Hagakure had been sliding against the walls and crawling on the floor. It seemed like he had the ‘mission impossible’ theme playing in his head.
“Uh, Hagakure? What are you doing?” Naegi asked.
“I’m bein’ stealthy dude! Hagakure answered. I’ve seen the spy dudes do it all the time! They move in the darkness concealing their presence from their enemies.
“And….you think this will keep you hidden from the girls?” Naegi aasked,
‘Of course it will. My crystal ball told me that I would avoid getting caught by any one of them. Hagakure answered. Naegi of course didn’t have much faith in his words. Hagakure had stated earlier that his predictions were only right thirty percent of the time. They weren’t exactly all that accurate. Regardless of his ridiculous sneaking about, the two had made it to the double doors of the Cafeteria. Hagakure was the first to peek through the door. He had looked to the left and then the right to make sure no one was around. He was relieved to find that no one was inside at the moment.
“Looks like the coast is clear. I’m going to scope out the scene.” Hagakure said as he had crept into the cafeteria looking about. Adding a touch of stealth to every step he took, he had slowly made his way into the kitchen. Hagakure had gave the signal for Naegi to come in. Naegi had slowly made his way inside checking about as well. It didn’t seem like anyone was there, but Naegi couldn’t help but get that creeping suspicion that they were being watched. And not by the puppet master this time. He had made it to the fridge and had found that hagakure was stuffing contents from the fridge into his bag.
‘What are you doing now?” Asked Naegi.
“Gathering supplies dude. Hagakure said. We still have a while to go before we reach nighttime. And we’ll have to alternate between locations so that we can keep an advantage over the girls. Besides, Monokuma told us that the fridge would be restocked no matter how much we took, so what’s the harm? Now help me with these, will ya?” Hagakure asked as he had packed up a box of buns into the bag. Naegi was beginning to question his choice in teaming up with hagakure. But, it didn’t seem like anything he could say would work in his favor. So he had helped Hagakure stuff some snacks and juice into the bag. But unkown to the two, someone was sneaking up behind the two. Naegi, Look in the Ice box and see if you can find some soda. Alright, have we got everything? Hagaakure asked as he had checked the contents of the bag. When he saw a soda being handed to him, hagakure had reached for it, but had stopped to feel the hand of the person handing it to him.
Geez Naegs, you use hand lotion before coming to this school? Hagakure asked. When Naegi looked up, he had grew an expression of fear.
“Hagakure……I’m over here….” Naegi said nervously as he begun to shake.
“Huh…..then who’s handing me the soda?” Hagakure asked as he had turned around to find the hand holding the soda belonged to Celes Ludenburg, The Super Duper High School Level Gambler.
“Hello, idiot.” Celes greeted.
“Man, why do you keep calling me tha-?” Hagakure began as he suddenly realized her presence and had a twitching smile on his face.
Look, Naegs, it’s Celes. Hagakure said nervously, Uh, thanks for the soda, but we really have to be going so..But when Hagakure tried to pull his hand away, Celes had tightened her grip refusing to let him go.
“And what exactly would you have to do?” She asked him.
“Look, you don’t want me… After all, you said I’m an idiot…..It’s obvious you don’t like me.” Hagakure said as he had continued to attempt at pulling his hand away, but to no success.
“While that is true, I’ll admit that even an idiot like you has his uses. …..Many uses.” She said with a sly and seductive smile.
“Um, Naegs….a little help?” Hagakure asked turning to Naegi.
‘What exactly does he expect me to do? Naegi thought. I don’t know if I should help him or make a run for it. Come on Naegi think. Suddenly, Naegi had spotted the soda can in the bag and had got an idea. He had quickly pulled the can from the bag and began to shake it about feverishly.
“What? You plan on having a drink before getting down to business?” Asked Celes.
“I don’t think that’s it.” Said Hagakure as he knew what was coming. After the can had shook on its own from the build up from the soda, Naegi had directed the can at the Gambler and had opened it letting out a rushing stream of soda splashing on to the Lundenburg’s dress.
“Ah! Disgusting!” Celes writhed in disgust as she was now covered in sticky soda. While she was distracted in riding herself of the substance, this had gave Hagakure and Naegi the opening they needed.
“Let’s Book it!” Hagakure said as he had picked up the bag of food and he and Naegi made a mad dash for the door. When Celes realized she was letting them get away, she saw the double doors of the cafeteria close behind them.
“Hmm, nice move, luckster. But let’s just see how long your luck will last.” Celes said with a grin.
“Meanwhile, the two had made it back to the library while breathing in and out heavily.
“Whew, nice move with the soda Naegi.” Hagakure said with a grin.
“It was kind of on the spot. My sis used to pull that prank on me whenever I least expected it.” Said Naegi with a smile recalling a memory of his sister. But it then dropped down again as he relived the moment he had watched that video showing the possible murder of his family members.
‘Well, now that we’re in the clear for now, it’s about time to have some lunch!” He said as he had unwrapped the bag which contained the food he had got from the fridgerator. The two had begun to eat building up their strength. With a mouthful of food, Hagakure asked…
“So, what do you think we should do about them now?” He asked while munching on a rice ball.
“I’m not entirely sure. Naegi replied. That soda thing was kind of a spur of the moment, I think that was just…..
“Luck?” Hagakure asked causing them both to chuckle a bit. First time Naegi’s had an ounce of good luck since being declared the Super Duper High School level Luckster.
‘Anyway, we should probably try finding the others. They may be able to provide us with some tips on keeping the lookout for them. Said Hagakure.
“But, what if they’ve been…you know?” naegi asked looking away not being able to say the ‘S’ word.
‘Come on man, What are the chance of them actually being serious about this? Hagakure asked. I’m not exactly an expert on women, but I know well enough to know that some of us here aren’t exactly compatible.
“Hagakure, have you already forgotten the little moment in the kitchen? Asked Naegi. I saw that look Celes had in her eyes. I think she was full intent on…..well….
“What? Raping me? Hagakure asked bluntly, Naegi was a bit surprised to hear him say that without so much as a care. Don’t worry about it. I bet that by the end of this day, the girls will have easily duped us and share a good laugh at our expense. He said nonchalantly as he had took a sip from his water bottle. But it was at that moment where his assumption would be shattered.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Screamed a frantic voice causing Hagakure to spit up his water shooting it like a water jet.
“That sounded like yamada….” Said Naegi. He had shot up from his chair and had raced out of the library to find the source of the voice.
“Hey Naegi, hold up! You trying to get caught man?! Hagakure asked as he had left the library as well to find the source of the scream. Naegi had down the hallways and had stopped at the cafeteria. He would have continued, but was stopped in his tracks as his eyes were transfixed on a scene that he’d never thought he’d see in his life. His eyes shrunk to the size of ping pong balls as his mouth was open agape. Soon, Hagakure had caught up to him.
“Hey Naegi what is it?” He asked. Naegi only responded by outstretching his arm forward pointing at the scene/ When Hagakure had looked to where he was pointing…he had gained the same expression that Naegi had.
‘Dude…….” Was all Hagakure could say.
Sorry, but that’s as far as you guys go for this chapter. Next time, the numbers begin to drop as captures are being made.
