Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Our first time
-Warning this one-shot has a very strong sex lemon in, no one under age of sexual consent should read, you have been warned and please don't blame me if you get traumatised kids-
"Wow someone woke up in a mood this morning, what happened last night?" Tails grinned as he sat up the kitchen table and watched Sonic walk in and flip the kettle on.
"I don't want to talk about it." Sonic unhappily said as he lend against the side with arms crossed and deeply frowning.
"Ok but talking about it might make you feel better." Tails shrugged indifferently as he spoke back casually.
The kettle didn't take long to boil for it was already hot. Sonic grumbled under his breath and made his morning tea then took a seat up the table opposite Tails.
"I had an argument with Shadow last night ok." Sonic muttered as he looked into his mug of steaming hot tea with that frown on his muzzle.
"Ok want to tell me what it was about?" Tails asked with a gentle voice.
"We've been like dating for almost eight months right and I suggested that we take the next step into our relationship." Sonic sighed as he was slowly coming out of his bad mood.
"And that would be?" Tails asked with a grin as he had a suspicion what it was.
"Come on bro don't make me spell it out to you." Sonic groaned as he looked up at Tails with slight embarrassment.
"Hey for all I know the next step could be like moving in with each other." Tails replied with a defensive tone.
"Sex alright, I suggested we spend the night together but he got all moody and defensive about it. We argued and I told him it's what couples do when being together for as long as we have and he just went off on one then teleported away." Sonic said and was once again getting annoyed as he replayed his and Shadow argument.
"So he basically rejected you and teleported away? Did it ever occur to you he's not ready for such a big step?" Tails calmly said with a small smile.
"Well yeah of course it did but come on he's not exactly that young and we've been together for nearly six months. I'm sure I'm not going to be his first since he is almost sixty and he's never come across as someone who would get nervous about something." Sonic seriously said with that frown deepening more so.
"Sonic you don't include those fifty years he was in suspended animation for he was asleep and not living life. Saying that it's not like Shadow was just a kid when he was put in there and his mind was the equivalent to an adult." Tails said as he gave Sonic a slightly bigger smile.
"Exactly so why doesn't he want to get that close to me? It's not like things will change that much between us, our bond will just become stronger. Anyone would think he's scared of getting that close with me, like as soon as we have finished I'm going to suddenly drop dead." Sonic grumbled as he looked away and found the kitchen door interesting to look at.
"That's what happened to Maria, he got very close to her and she was murdered in front of him." Tails said with a sincere tone and looking a little sad.
"Yeah ok but it's not like he and she were intimate on that level." Sonic spat out with some anger as he had debated with himself about that.
"No but he shared a very strong bond with her and she was his very first friend. Whether you have sex with someone or not a bond can form and become strong. I would say he is afraid of getting too close with someone again. Yes ok you both are close but the kind of connection you will share after such an intimate moment will grow deep on an emotional level." Tails explained as he kept his eyes on Sonic.
"So what you are pretty much saying is he's afraid of losing me in the future and feels he would never got over my death if we start to become sexually active?" Sonic asked with a dry expression now looking at his fox brother.
"It's a theory that fits or he is old fashioned and believe in no sex before marriage. After all he is from a different era and raised by old fashioned morals." Tails shrugged as he casually answered.
"I guess I won't know the reason unless he tells me why he turned down my suggestion then got all aggressive with me. Right I'm going to go find him and have a talk, I deserve an explanation from him." Sonic seriously said as he stood up and began to walk out of the kitchen.
"Wait what about your tea!?" Tails called out quickly before Sonic left the house.
"I'll make one later, bye!" Sonic called back as he opened the front door then dashed out, his sonic boom being the one that closed the door shut.
With Shadow...
"And you turned down his offer of sex? Why would you do that?" Rouge gasped out in shock as she had finally got Shadow talking after trying for over two hours.
"I turn it down because it's a big step in our relationship and I'm not ready for it." Shadow grumbled as he slouched in his space on the sofa with arms crossed and glaring at the fireplace that wasn't lit.
"Don't believe ya hun, there has to be more involved than you're not ready to get intimate with your boyfriend. You have both been together for almost six months now so what is the real reason?" Rouge sighed with a shake of her head as she sat next to Shadow.
"You will just laugh at me so I'm sticking to that reason." Shadow muttered unhappily.
"I won't laugh at you Shadow and it cannot be that bad right? It's not like you have never done it with another person." Rouge grinned as she turned herself around to face Shadow and looking very eager to know the real reason Shadow rejected sex.
"You are very wrong there, I've never been that intimate with anyone. I've practically had all my firsts with Sonic, first date, first kiss, first time falling in love...I don't know how to do it ok. It doesn't come naturally for me, I don't know what to do either and I'm concerned Sonic wouldn't understand so I got defensive." Shadow sighed with a look of embarrassment.
"Well what you need is a little education hun and the best way to get some is the internet. I'm pretty sure going to the library and researching this subject will be an embarrassing moment for you." Rouge said with an assuring tone, not once having a teasing voice or sounding amused.
"Thank you for not using this as a way to make fun of me Rouge, I appreciate your help." Shadow calmly said with a faint smile.
"You know I'm sure if you would have told Sonic this last night then he would have understood too. I wouldn't put blue down as someone who would make fun of you for not knowing how to have sex or what to do dring sex. He probably is now thinking you don't love him enough to get intimate with him." Rouge sincerely said with a small smile at Shadow.
"That is simply not true and he should know that." Shadow replied with an unsure expression now wondering if Sonic was thinking he did not love him enough.
"Just hold that thought while I go answer the door hun." Rouge sighed as she stood up and left the sitting room.
Rouge unlocked the door and opened it with a smile then when she saw Sonic standing there with unhappy features her smile vanishing.
"I need to speak to Shadow and it's very important." Sonic seriously said as he crossed his arms and frowned deeply at Rouge.
"I'd say, you both need to have a very important chat about certain things. He's in the sitting room and not all that happy either." Rouge casually said as she stepped to one side so Sonic could enter.
"So he tells you why he won't get close to me but he cannot tell me, his actual boyfriend. Well don't I fell so damn special to him." Sonic grumbles as he walks passed Rouge and heads to the sitting room.
"Just wait a moment Sonic." Rouge calls back as she closed the door, making Sonic pause in his walking and turn to look at her.
"Yeah what?" Sonic raised a brow in question at the bat.
"Just remember he loves you and you know as well as I do Shadow can get very defensive when he doesn't understand something or doesn't know something." Rouge calmly said as she walked over to Sonic and stood in front of him with serious features.
"What exactly are you trying to say? He doesn't understand why I suggested for us to take the next level in our relationship? I told him it is what serious couples do with each other so you can't use that as an excuse." Sonic said with some anger in his voice as he was getting upset all over again.
"Sex isn't everything Sonic." Rouge said with a frown at Sonic.
"Yeah I know that, I'm just finding it hard why Shadow doesn't want to get that close with me, that is what has seriously upset me. It makes me wonder if he even loves me that much or even loves me at all. Before you go off on one I'm entitled to feel that way and think that way. I've come here to get an explanation and I'm not leaving until I get it." Sonic seriously said with his eyes beginning to water a little.
"Just try to understand ok and you will get your explanation." Rouge sighed as she motioned Sonic to go into the sitting room, she following him in.
Shadow was still sitting on the sofa but now had the laptop out and on. He had just got the internet connected and about to click on the search engine. Sonic walked over to the sofa and looking at Shadow as he did then froze when he watched Shadow type into the search engine.
"Why the hell are you searching sex for?" Sonic questioned with some hurt in his voice.
Shadow tensed up and slowly looked away from the laptop and at Sonic with an anxious expression.
"Oh I get it now, you prefer to watch it than to do it with me is that it?" Sonic asked with anger in his tone and looking very hurt by his discovery.
"No that is not it at all." Shadow seriously said and fully composed from the shock of seeing Sonic.
"Shadow hun if you want to learn how to have sex then you need to word it right. Just putting in sex will give you porn sites to click on." Rouge said with a grin as she lent forward from behind the sofa and decided to help her best friend out a little.
"Wait what? Ok let's start from the beginning, you turned me down last night because you don't know how to have sex?" Sonic asked as he was quite taken back by this.
"I erm...yes, ok I admit it I don't know how to have sex. There you happy, you satisfied now?" Shadow said with fear in his eyes as he and Sonic locked gazes.
"Why didn't you just tell me that last night? That little fight could have all been avoided if you would have just told me." Sonic sighed with a shake of his head then took a seat next to Shadow.
"I was concerned you wouldn't believe me and think I was lying to you." Shadow slightly whispered with a sorry expression.
"Ok I admit I probably wouldn't have believed you at first since sex is a natural part of life and it comes instinctively." Sonic sincerely said as he took the laptop off Shadow's lab and placed it on his.
"I'll leave you both to it and just remember Shadow you will learn more with actually doing it then reading about it." Rouge casually said then walked out of the living room and closed the door shut.
"She's right ya know, here I'll help ya get the right sites up. Porn is not going to help you just yet." Sonic grinned as he looked at the many porn sites listed on the screen.
"Won't help me yet?" Shadow questioned as he moved closer to Sonic so he could see the screen.

Half an hour later...
"So that is not just for getting rid of liquid waste but also used to perform sex. How do you make it hard? Yeah ok it says a guy needs to get aroused but how do you get aroused?" Shadow asked with high interest in knowing as he looked at the information on the screen.
"Well that is one question I never thought I'll ever hear a guy say." Rouge grinned as she walked over to the sofa.
"Then you will also be glad you are not the one explained this to me." Shadow grinned back as he glanced at his bat friend knowing females were very different to males, even more so now he was being educated.
"Quite true, I came in here to tell you I've just been called out for a quick mission and won't be back later, probably tonight at some point. So feel free to practice and make as much noise as you like boy's." Rouge teased with a wink then left.
"Huh? What is she getting on at?" Shadow frowned in puzzlement.
"Well it's like Rouge said earlier, you will learn more actually having sex than to just reading about it. You know the basis of it now so want to give it a go?" Sonic purred seductively as he slowly closed the laptop shut.
"But I'm not aroused?" Shadow raised a brow and feeling a little unsure.

Shadow looked at the offered hand for a few extra seconds then took it, having Sonic help him up on his feet. Sonic kept his hold on Shadow's hand as he led the way to Shadow's bedroom. They soon entered and Sonic let go of Shadow's hand and turned to face him with an assuring smile.
"Is it normal to feel anxious about doing this?" Shadow asked as he closed the bedroom door then walked right in front of Sonic.
"Yeah of course but remember if at any time you wish to stop then it's ok, we will stop. I don't want to rush you or make you feel uncomfortable in any way." Sonic softly said with a loving smile as he moved his hands to gently grab Shadow by the hips and pull him close.
Shadow gave Sonic a nervous smile as he nodded. Sonic lent his head forward and connected his lips with Shadow's and slowly began to moved backwards towards the bed, guiding Shadow with him while kissing. Sonic hit the bed base and stopped then broke the kiss with a warm expression.
"Ok take off your shoes and gloves then lay down on the bed babe." Sonic instructed as he let go of Shadows hips.
Shadow nodded and did as he was told, with Sonic taking off his own shoes as well. Shadow slowly got onto his double bed then laid down as if he was going to go to sleep but didn't. He tried to calm his fast beating heart when he watched Sonic begin to climb on top of him then sat on his waistline.
"I don't know about this are you sure it will..." Shadow nervously said then gasped out with surprise when Sonic grinded into him.
"H-how did you make?" Shadow asked with a slight breathless whisper then gasped again when Sonic redid his actions but a little more rougher.
"What, make you feel a jot of tingly pleasure course through your body?" Sonic grinned down with lust in his eyes at a flustered Shadow.

He rested his forehead on Shadow's and nuzzled him affectionately as he purred and waited for the all clear to start.
"I love you." Sonic whispered with so much meaning in his words then lifted his head away from Shadow and licked Shadow's cheek slowly.
"I love you too...I-I think I'm alright now, it doesn't hurt anymore." Shadow replied in a soft tone as he opened his eyes and looked up at Sonic.
"Ok I'll go slow at first so you can get used to me." Sonic said with assurance then slowly began to leave Shadow's entrance but not all the way.

"Yeah it is starting to feel nice, I want that other feeling. The one you gave me when you were searching." Shadow whispered with some confidence in his look and tone while removing an arm and using his fingers to lightly trace down the side of Sonic's face.
Sonic smiled warmly then began to move out once more and with some speed went back in. He moved out quicker then back in, keeping to that speed for the moment. He didn't go rough just yet and was waiting a little before doing such a different rhythm. Shadow gasped as the feeling was getting more nicer but it wasn't the same just yet until Sonic lost himself and accident went back in rougher and faster.
"Ahh damn!" Shadow cried out as the pleasure increased dramatically and he shuddered from the shot that spread all around.
"I'm sorry did I hurt you?" Sonic asked with drooped sad ears while looking very apologetic down at Shadow.

Sonic perked up with a smile then repeated his actions in the same manner. By this time Shadow was once again getting hard as Sonic rammed into him, hitting that spot that made him see stars all around. Sonic had gotten more faster and rougher as he pounded into Shadow, getting encouraging noises coming from his beloved underneath him. Sweat coated their pelts and both were breathing heavily as they continued making love until Sonic suddenly stopped deep inside of Shadow.
"Why...you...stop?" Shadow asked between pants and was looking a little confused up at Sonic.

He smiled warmly down at Sonic then connected their lips for a moment before making his move. The kiss broke and Shadow lowered himself down on Sonic. His entrance was prodded then Sonic's member slowly began to enter him once more until it was all the way inside. Shadow locked eyes with Sonic and silently asking what he should do next.
"Ok now it is you in control babe, just move up and down. You can go as fast as you like and as rough as you like. It's all down to you and what you prefer." Sonic explained with a warm look in his eyes as he reached a hand out and caressed Shadows cheek, making Shadow smile back and lean into his touch.
"Remember you said that." Shadow said with more confidence while his muzzle slowly formed a devious smirk down at Sonic.
"Yeah I will so when you're ready babe." Sonic chuckled as he like how his boyfriend was getting into this just as much while also getting curious to what Shadow may do.
Not long after those words left Sonic's mouth Shadow did indeed begin. He lifted himself up slowly and went down again just as. He was having a little practice run so he can determine how much he should keep Sonic inside without the connection slipping and falling out. When that was completed Shadow finally began, getting a perfect rhythm going that got faster and rougher with every other drop down.
"Ahh yeah just like that babe, keep going and don't stop." Sonic moaned out with pleasure all over his features as he lightly gripped onto Shadow's hips.

Sonic moved his head to Shadows with a purring noise coming out of his throat then their lips connect while Sonic kept his rough movements up. Shadow wrapped one arm around Sonic's neck, his legs around Sonic waist and his other arm laced around Sonic side with a hand on Sonics back to pull him down more. When the heated kiss broke Sonic moved his mouth to Shadow's neck and bit down as he went faster in and out.
"Ahh, Sonic keep going it is happening again!" Shadow cried out as the claim bite did wonders to him emotionally and physically.
Sonic gave a low sexual growl as he kept his teeth on Shadow's neck while obeying his mates request to keep at it. He too was getting very close and on that feeling he moved faster to increase the amount of friction created with each thrust.
"Oh chaos Sonic it's coming, it's coming!" Shadow cried out as he gripped onto Sonic tighter and shutting his eyes tightly as he was thrusts away from letting it all out again.
Sonic purred as he heard his boyfriend and knew any second they both will release.
"Ahh Sonic!" Shadow shouted out as his orgasm struck, making him top his built up load in-between himself and Sonic.

"I love you too babe." Sonic whispered back as he moved his head away from Shadow a little and had just slipped all the way out of his mates entrance hole.
"Does feeling sleepy usually happen after something like this?" Shadow asked as he slowly dropped his legs from around Sonic and moved his other arm to around Sonic's neck, wanting Sonic to stay close to him a little longer.
"Yeah it does, we expressed a lot of emotions and did a very physical activity together. You want to take a small nap before we have a shared shower?" Sonic softly said with loving eyes down at Shadow's.
"Yeah." Shadow whispered back as his lids dropped lower and smiling up happily at Sonic.
They moved about and soon got into a nice cuddled position on top of the bed. Shadow nuzzled his face into Sonic's chest area as Sonic held him securely as they hugged contently.
"I have to say I really truly enjoyed being that close to you Sonic and thank you. Maybe next time I do not understand or know something I will tell you straight off." Shadow sighed as he was completely relaxed within Sonic's embrace and getting more sleepy.
"I very much enjoying doing this with you too and maybe next time we could try different positions and see which we feel comfortable with. You rest up love ok, love you." Sonic gently said as he stroked through Shadow's quills repeatedly as tiredness was washing over him too.
"Love, you, too..." Shadow whispered quietly as his eyes closed and the need to sleep was too strong to fight.
Three hours later...
The two had not long got out of their shower and had just finished with roughly drying their fur with towels. They tidied up the bathroom and bedroom before leaving Shadows room to leave the house. Sonic was going to take Shadow outside for lunch and brought the topic up during their shower. Shadow was all too eager in having this lunch date and was getting excited with where Sonic was going to take him.
"Do I get a clue?" Shadow asked as they left the house, he himself locking up while looking at Sonic with a curious gaze.
"Well I don't want to ruin the surprise but I do know you haven't been there before." Sonic grinned with a teasing glint in his green eyes.
"Well that narrows it down to probably a dozen places in the city alone. Do I get anything else as a clue?" Shadow rolled his eyes as he puts the key in its hiding place for he didn't have pockets to put it in and like hell will he start carrying a bag around with him either.
He may be gay and would occasionally do things that other guys considered girly but he drew the line in having a handbag. They walked away from the house holding hands and was approaching the main Street.
"I could say we are not going to have lunch at a diner. I know you do like sitting in a diner and just chilling for a few hours but I thought we could go somewhere special together." Sonic said with a confident smile for he knew Shadow would be very surprised and happy with his restaurant choice.
"Yes I do so if we are going somewhere different I would say to you what is the occasion?" Shadow asked with a raised brow at Sonic while looking his way.
"The occasion is that I love you and want to treat you. Do I need an occasion to make you feel special and loved?" Sonic sincerely said with a gentle look in his eyes while locking them with Shadow's.
"No you don't but have you not already treated me this morning?" Shadow asked as he was starting to get a little confused.
"Babe what we did is an act of love, it's a way to express how much we love each other and how far we are willing to go for the other. Pleasuring the other to make them feel happy and special while also taking the time to express the love we feel. It's different than me taking you out and treating you." Sonic explained in a soft gently voice while lightly squeezing Shadows hand in his.
"Oh, I think I understand, so you treating me to a fancy lunch date then?" Shadow smiled as he changed the conversation back to where they were going.
"Define fancy babe?" Sonic grinned as he knew a picnic was classed as fancy to Shadow.
"You know what I think I'll just wait and see. You are clearly keeping tight lipped about where we are going and I would like to have a surprise while also seeing what you think is fancy." Shadow smirked playfully then both walked side by side in a comfortable silence.
When Sonic finally stopped they were in front of the poshest and most expensive place to sit in and eat in the whole Central City area. Shadow gasped as he was led closer towards the entrance doors and was very much surprise by Sonic's view of fancy. To him this place was far from just fancy and yes a very special treat.
"You sure you want to take me here for lunch? Don't get me wrong it's a wonderful surprise and you are right, I haven't been in here before but I don't think you can just walk in and there will be a table ready for you. I'm sure I've heard to have to ring and book a table." Shadow said with a quiet tone while they stood by the front desk, waiting for someone to appear.
"Trust me love, I very much do." Sonic winked at Shadow to signify he knew what he was doing.
"Hello and welcome to The Ruby Shard. Do you have a reservation?" The front hostess, wearing a very smart uniform, announced herself while giving off a very friendly vibe.
"Yeah I have a reservation for two, the name is Sonic." Sonic grinned as he glanced at a confused Shadow while the hostess opened up the appointment book.
"Of course please follow me to your VIP table." The hostess politely said with a smile, grabbed two menus then led the way through the very posh restaurant towards the back where the VIP section was.
They reached the table that had very comfortable looking curved sofa like seat and enclosed walls half way around the table. Both hedgehogs too a space next to each other then was passed a menu each.
The hostess told them a waiter will come in a couple of minutes then she returned to her post.
"You reserved us a table in the VIP section for us to have lunch today?" Shadow asked as he had his menu open and slowly looking down the list.
"Yeah while you were asleep I snuck out and ran the restaurant to find out if they had any tables in the VIP section. They did so I booked us a table babe and as soon as I gave them my name they were like way excited in having us come to their restaurant." Sonic explained with his grin on his muzzle while doing the same as Shadow with his menu.
"But why this one and not just take me out to a diner like we usually do? Not that I am ungrateful but it does make me think there is an occasion to be celebrated." Shadow softly said as he placed his menu flat on the table and looked beside him at Sonic.
"No occasion but the fact I love you and I might have remembered you talking about wanting to come here once a few months ago." Sonic smiled cheerfully back as he laid his menu down flat on the table also.
"You are right I have always wanted to come here and see what it is like and how the food is. But I also know how much it will cost and how hard it can be to book a table. I am thoroughly impressed and feel very spoiled right now, thank you my love." Shadow sincerely said with a warm expression, feeling very special and loved by Sonic.
"You are worth it babe and so much more." Sonic whispered as he moved his head closer to Shadow and placed a sweet kiss on Shadow's cheek, making Shadow sigh out contently.
It was almost seven in the afternoon when Rouge finally came home from her task at GUN. She closed and locked the door before heading into the sitting room to just put her feet up. When she walked in she spotted Shadow curled up on his recliner with his eyes closed and a blanket over him.
"Looks like Sonic has worn the Ultimate Lifeform out." She thought as she approached the sofa and flopped down onto it with a relaxed sigh.
"How was your mission?" Shadow softly called out as he opened his eyes and looked over at a tired Rouge.
"It was long for a basic run of the mill mission. So how did it go with Sonic today?" Rouge smirked with playfulness as she wanted to know all the ins and outs of Shadow and Sonic's time together.
"Aren't we nosy but I will say I do not know why I got myself so worked up about. This whole sex thing is pretty amazing and it is even more so when doing it with the one you love. He even took me out to The Ruby Shard for lunch, I feel so spoiled and cared about." Shadow softly said with a warm smile at Rouge.
"Oh my chaos he took you there afterwards? Do you know how hard it is to get a table, I tried and they kept telling me they were fully booked for weeks. Man you are one very lucky hedgehog hun and I can't help but to feel a little jealous right now." Rouge said with wide shocked eyes as she spoke back.
"Well he didn't have trouble getting a table hours before ringing. He got us in the VIP section and I must say it was a very nice establishment, the food was delectable and the service was excellent. He promised to take me there again and I look very much forward to it too." Shadow said with his smile turned into a smirk at how Rouge was looking a little jealous and probably a lot of girls would be the same too.
"The VIP section seriously? I am telling you now hun, your boyfriend has way more money than sense but I suppose he sees it differently. I put blue down as one of those rare guys who doesn't care how much things cost so long as their partner is happy, feel special and know that they are loved deeply." Rouge grinned at Shadow knowing by the soft expression in Shadow's eyes that she was right about Sonic.
"Again so damn lucky." Rouge grinned with a playful teasing look.
"Yep I'm one spoiled little bitch right now, you can say it and I will never deny the truth." Shadow chuckled as he smirked at Rouge.
"Fine you are Sonic's little spoiled bitch just don't get all diva with everyone." Rouge said as she joked about knowing Shadow would never become like those trophy wives of very rich people they sometimes watch on the TV together.
"Oh believe me that is a definite promise and if I do ever start I want you to slap me out of it quick." Shadow seriously said with a small frown.
"I won't just do that I'll start filming ya and making my one TV show to air. I shall call it Ultimate Diva." Rouge winked with amusement in her tone.
"Yeah well I want forty percent of all profits." Shadow rolled his eyes at the joke then got comfortable in a different position.
"Thirty five and a trip to the salon for grooming once a week, that is my final offer." Rouge matter-of-fact said as she made herself look serious.
"Throw in a P.A and you have yourself a deal." Shadow said with amusement while winking at Rouge.
"Deal and I know just who will be perfect for the job too. Sonic can not only provide you with anything you want but he can also satisfy your other needs now you are knowledgeable of sex with experience behind you." Rouge said with a light laugh at how Shadow very faintly blushed at her teasing.
"I-I wouldn't class one time experienced, apparently there are more positions to try out and more ways to pleasure your partner. I have no clue what they are yet but Sonic did say he will educate me in everything." Shadow muttered as he avoided the amused look Rouge had in her eyes.
"Thought about getting kinky with him? You know add toys, handcuffs and whips into the equation, maybe some bondage too." Rouge asked as she knew she had just confused Shadow by the raised brow and slightly tilted head.
"Kinky, I might have to research that and how it is played out in sex with your partner." Shadow thought as he just stayed silent and just rolled his eyes after that thought.
