Mother Nature

The angel's wings trembled as he hovered above her, his face flushed a deep crimson that matched the sunset filtering through the lush canopy of Viridi's forest sanctuary. She lay sprawled across a bed of moss and soft petals, her long blonde hair splayed out, her expression that infuriating smirk that always made Pit's stomach flip.

"You're serious?" Pit asked, his voice cracking slightly. "If I... if we... you'll stop trying to wipe out humanity?"

Viridi stretched languidly, her small frame arching toward him. "Cross my heart, angel boy. The Reset Bomb? Ancient history. The Forces of Nature? Disbanded." She ran a finger along his jaw, her touch surprisingly gentle despite the mischief dancing in her eyes. "I'll be far too busy with midnight feedings and diaper changes to care about the 'natural order.' Motherhood is the ultimate commitment, wouldn't you say?"

Pit swallowed hard. He'd fought Medusa, he'd faced Hades, he'd challenged the Chaos Kin. But this? This felt like the most dangerous mission Lady Palutena had ever assigned him.

Not that she'd assigned it. In fact, if she knew where he was right now...

"Stop thinking about her," Viridi purred, reading his mind as she always did. She hooked her legs around his waist, pulling him closer. "It's just you and me, Pit. The Goddess of Nature and Palutena's loyal little servant. One fertile union to save your precious humans."

"You're not... you're not fertile," Pit stammered, though his body was already responding to her warmth, to the way she ground against him. "You're a goddess. You can't get—"

"Can't I?" Viridi's eyes glittered with something ancient and wild. "I am nature, Pit. Life itself. And I've decided I want a piece of you growing inside me." She reached between them, guiding him, and Pit gasped as she enveloped him in tight, wet heat. "So. Do we have a deal?"

Pit squeezed his eyes shut, trying to remember his duty, his loyalty, everything Palutena had taught him. But Viridi felt incredible—tight and hot and alive in a way that made his wings flutter involuntarily.

"Deal," he choked out, and thrust forward.

Viridi's laugh was breathless, delighted. "There's the angel I knew was in there! Not so pure after all, are you?"

She was tight—gods, she was tight—and every movement drew desperate sounds from Pit's throat that he couldn't control. Viridi met him eagerly, her hips rolling to take him deeper, her nails raking down his back.

"That's it," she encouraged, her voice dropping to a husky whisper that didn't sound like the snarky goddess he knew. It sounded hungry. Desperate. "Fill me up, Pit. I want to feel you breeding me."

"Viridi—" Pit's rhythm faltered, pleasure coiling tight in his belly.

"Don't you dare stop!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down until their foreheads touched. Her eyes were wide now, the teasing mask slipping to reveal something vulnerable, something that wanted this as badly as she claimed to want destruction. "I need it. I need you. All that energy you waste on Palutena's errands? Give it to me—give me your child!"

The mention of his goddess's name sent a spike of guilt through Pit's pleasure, but Viridi felt it and laughed, low and wicked.

"That's it, Pit—give me every drop! Palutena's little angel is going to put a baby in me, and there's nothing she can do about it~"

"V-Viridi!" Pit's hips stuttered, his control shattering. "Don't bring Lady Palutena into this—ngh! I'm cumming!"

"Yes! Yes!" Viridi clung to him, her legs locking tight around his waist as he spilled inside her, pulse after hot pulse. She arched beneath him, her own climax rippling through her as she milked him for everything he had. "That's it... that's it... fill me up..."

Pit collapsed against her, trembling, his wings draping over them both like a feathery blanket. For a long moment, the only sound was their ragged breathing and the rustle of leaves overhead.

"So," Pit finally managed, his voice muffled against her shoulder. "You'll really stop? The Reset Bombs, the war on humans... you'll just... be a mom?"

Viridi's hand found his hair, her fingers carding through it with surprising tenderness. "A promise is a promise, angel boy." She shifted beneath him, and Pit felt a flutter of renewed arousal at the way she squeezed around his oversensitive length. "Though I should warn you... nature mothers are very protective. I might not destroy humanity, but I'll certainly destroy anyone who threatens my little sprout."

Pit lifted his head to look at her, searching for the trick, the loophole. But Viridi's expression was soft, almost peaceful—the face of a goddess who had finally found a new purpose.

"Besides," she added, her snark returning with a vengeful grin, "someone needs to teach this kid not to trust goddesses with questionable fashion sense. Palutena's influence ends now."

"Hey!" Pit protested, but he was smiling, too exhausted and content to muster real outrage.

Viridi pulled him down for a kiss that tasted like spring rain and promises, and Pit decided that maybe, just maybe, this was the best mission outcome he'd ever achieved.

No bombs. No wars. Just a snarky nature goddess who wanted his baby—and somehow, against all logic, wanted him.

"Round two?" Viridi suggested against his lips, already rolling her hips invitingly. "I want to be absolutely sure this takes."

Pit groaned, but his body was already responding. For the humans, he told himself. This was still for the humans.

Viridi's laughter echoed through the forest, bright and wild and free.
