lol Yak-cows. I half expected the sculptor and a cat named Muse, too, but I guess there's only so much one can write. Especially when there's anarchy to write about, and pre-Christmas hotness. And post-hotness funniness. X3 I really DID expect Keira to climb that tree. Good thing for our boys it was too cold.

    Until next time. ^w^

Awesome chapter, but I have to ask, have you yourself ever had braces before? There's no way Daxter would be able to get the brackets off with just needle nose pliers, not without breaking some of his own teeth. He'd be able to pull the bands and the wires off though.

It's been a while since I've checked back so it was nice to see, like, four new chapters. They were delicious. ^w^ Lots of lols and warm fuzzies to be had. Especially when the Mystery of the Missing Socks was solved. XD

    Until we meet again! :3

Where are the outtakes? WHERE? They are the one constant in my unstable, tumbling world... dramatics aside, not bad for filler. I do hope you'll compensate for this chap having nothing but brief sleepy cuddles and a near-miss with something that would make sailors blush. Perhaps Samos will go off on some judgmental rant against Daxter and Jak defends him while outing them simultaneously and they make out in front of everyone? Or a practical demonstration of riding in the barn? Perhaps Jak presses Dax up against the window and Uncle sees them when he arrives? Whatever, it's your job to write this, not mine.

P.S. Seriously, keep the outtakes. They're 47.6% of the reason I even read this.

Aw, break poor Razer's heart. He was so looking forward to Daxter poking; had a nice sharp stick to do so with all ready to go and everything. But, let's face it, if I through Phoenix at him, we all know what kind of poking will be happening off screen (and a couple times on, you know, to keep things interesting).

I know how much this chapter has harassed you, but as usual, it worked out great. All the right levels of anxious and fluffy and I now have this thing in my head that Damas has a Tom Selleck mustache. It's horrible and horribly funny at the same time (now I want to know is he has the chest hair too, my god, what the hell is wrong with me??). And I do truly adore the turducken line--that's the most honest and sincere thing I've ever heard on the subject. I also share Keira's abject horror of tofurkey. I think I would show up regardless of an invite after that. Jak definitely owes her.

Keep going, dearest corgi. Fluff 'til your stumpy little heart can fluff no more. And remember to have fun. Don't worry about deadlines. This isn't going to run away from you and I won't let you forget how fun this is supposed to be.

Ohh, delightful. But Keira. Couldn't Keira have come over like. 10 minutes later than that? DANG IT. Also remind me that I need to look up whatever country song that was and devote some time imagining Mike Erwin's voice singing it.

And so I didn't know if you'd ever mentioned it, but was there any plan to continue on that Tess/Keira arc that was a separate little oneshot? I wonder what you could do with that. I imagine it would involve Keira dismantling the Patriarchy surrounding the Students' garage and smooching her cheerleader girlfriend on the downtime. Written or not, I really love that story arc, lol.

So I saw what you did there. That little reference to the Oracle. Well done! And as per your preview on Tumblr, Damas is going to be a delight in this story, I can tell. Though the question remains...Will Jak's uncle be as declined to liking Daxter as he is in TPL? And then there's Samos. I'm sure Damas will adore the kid, but those two always make me nervous. I'm sure Jak will be a good not-boyfriend and compensate for any meanness from grumpy old men that might roll around though.

And Do mine eyes deceive me, or is Daxter already starting into the early stages of all-out denial of any lovey romantic feelings he might have for Jak? Oh dear, precious, naive thing.

Wow, ok, I love this fic. Can the boys get any cuter? And Keira pointing out that they've been experimenting for quite awhile is just perfect. Is it bad that I like her better in this fic than in the game? I think she's a better example of a bamf female here than as Erol's lapdog.

I check this site for updates like every other day, srsly. It's part of my weekly routine.

But.. some of your rape jokes in the outtakes make me uncomfortable..

Like, yes they're out of character and crazy.. but why is the victim always the punchline?

Idk, I've taken to ignoring the outtakes but they still kinda hurt my stomach

Oh dear lord, when Keira said her most famous line, I nearly died of joy! God this story is amazing, I just wish it was longer so we could get more juicy boy love.

CALLED IT! And nice job on this one. Lotsa warm and fuzzies, with the hint of awkward sneaking around the family for passionate love affairs to come! Keep up the great work!

You know, Dax's inability to put up with new seems kinda self-defeating. By all rights, adapting to change should be something he's good with, given his history. Being cautious is a good trait, but self-defeating does seem to be something he's exceptionally good at. And Jak's little assumption on the matter doesn't really have anything else to work against at the moment. It's probably just my mood, but goddamn I want to poke that boy until he fights back. Oh, wait, that's Razer's job. And thus a beautiful black romance starts to blossom.

I admit, I eagerly await Damas in the next chapter. As always, is a brilliant corgi.

You know, sometimes I think that if Daxter didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any luck at all. About the only good luck he has is that Jak's usually around to help counteract the misfortune. I admit, though, there's a part of me that's wondering exactly how oblivious he is to not know that the dorms were closing. (Yare, yare, I know, plot device, don't question it.)

Oh, and can you hear the groaning from your trouser-ferret comment? Because it is a thing that's happening. There might even be something thrown at you at this rate.

Possibly the most hilarious outtakes ever! Also, very much looking forward to how the winter break is going to go. If Damas is there, that would be hilarious! Keep up the great work!

Let's face it, Killer. Now that your OTP is canon, this is going to happen a lot more often!

And I don't know what Erol's intentions are with Daxter and/or Jak, or what you authoresses are planning with him, but I actually already got really freaked for Daxter when he popped up at the door! I read Rule 39's update as well and YESS he's a diva street racer. I was eagerly anticipating this to happen, it just always struck me as how he'd integrate into a universe like ours(along with being a dirty cop) once I started reading this AU. Now the question remains, is Jak going to dabble in it, I wonder?

I love how you've set it up that Dax is the type to avoid conflict at all costs while Jak is obviously the heroic, take-no-bullying-bullshit type and how beautifully they mesh with Jak wanting to protect his not-boyfriend and Dax ever so slowly opening up to the idea that he's not alone anymore.

On notes of non-plot conflicts, absolutely steamy! This is an excellent first time for them, and it will only get more awesome! As always, super satisfied by the romantic happenings, excited for where it's going to head next, and deliciously, shamelessly pleased with the pacing of their relationship.

Though as a last thought I wonder what kind of assholeish things Erol has done to Jinx aside from that blackmailing thing at the party? Erol really gets around with his jerkiness.
