I love this story so far, keep it up. Though I am wondering if you're gonna continue At the End of the Tunnel or any other of your unfinished stories besides this one?

Very well done, as usual. It is a good change to see Shadow finally recovering and finally proposing to Amy!...Though I doubt he will remain in his happy place very long, if his dreams are a prelude of things to come.

I still have to ask, what makes them think they are safe? GUN can show up and make everyone's life a living hell again...or they may be more focused on Sonic now. On that note, is anything going to be different at the GUN HQ seeing how the one supposedly running it was killed? Or is there indeed another power at work here?

Now Shadow going through withdraw...Im just waiting for him to either snap and go nuts or shut down all together. If not for Amy and Eclipse, he would have already done so. Oh that reminds me, little Eclipse definitly has his daddy's genes using Chaos Control emeraldless and not even a year old. Well, if anything happens now to anyone he cares for, withdrawl will be the least of his problems.

Finally, Knux helping Sonic? He would decide to leave his Island home before he would do such a thing (or try to get with Rouge). Rouge may help, but it's all depending on what was the cause of their breakup.

Well, whatever is to happen will sure be very interesting, to say the least. Can't wait for the next chapter!

    Very Happy Fan,

Nightmares are such fun, because there are really no laws governing their existance. Once Shadow woke up afraid of Amy I could almost hear the giggiling of my favorite psycopath.
Addictive drugs in his system...hehehehehe, he gets to be forced through withdrawel. THAT stays with you for a long time. People are, well to be polite, odd in such times.
Decided to leave At The End Of The Tunnel on the shelf? ... ... ... ... I shall keep my one and a half cents to myself for the time being. Actually, I really should.
Hedgecat...hedgecat...wait...back up two steps here...Mirage was playing the tape recorder some chapters back on the other archive... shutting up now before I dig too far...

...This is just too...whats the expression... There almost doesn't seem to be a certain fate set in stone here...
I'm starting to suspect a third force at work here. Allright...which of you two (If any) uses dice when writing? I could be wrong, but I'm not sure.

Well you did ask where you're old reviewers were. Yes, I am the one who brought up the point about untrained accuracy with fire arms, and the unexpected intensity of recoil. Both of which were ignored, I might add.

First off, yay for psychological pain, instead of physical AND psychological. It's always freakier when the body is fine but the mind is messed up beyond all recocgnition. Second: Hurrah, more Rouge, and perhaps an explanation as to why exactly she and Sonic broke up. Yes, that IS still bugging me.

Third: finally somebody ends up happy! If only for... I'm geussing one chapter?

Now onto ideas, for I have no criticism, because my brain is too sludged to go over this with a fine-tooth comb. Especially after dancing with joy at that bastard of a military officer getting shot.

First, consider that Sonic might prove, if anything, MORE durable to torture, as it might provide some measure of closure to his twisted little way of 'paying his dues'. If he still feels like he deserves to be punished for that (likely) then he might see the torture as the 'price', and thus be more... accepting o it, as he would think he deserved it. So, if anything, he might be more durable.

Or it might just provide some interesting thoughts for the inevitable Sonic-screaming-in-pain chapter.

Next, the way things are going, I'm wondering if your trying to get every character put through torture. In which case, I dread the Tails section...

I still love this story though, but sad to hear about At The End Of The Tunnel. I only just got into it, and the next thing I hear, it's cancelled.

Hey, sorry I didn't get a chance to review last week! I was in the midsts of a long, bloody battle with the termite army that was devouring my drywall. It took a week, with many casualties (on their side), but despite their vigilant struggle I won out in the end.

Ok then, on to the review. It's good to see that Shadow's recovering now and out of the torture chamber, but it doesn't look like he's out of the woods yet. I'm cringing to think of what's happening to Sonic, and I don't share BZLF's sentiments; I feel he's generally a good person and that the emotional pain he feels is enough punishment. It's obvious that what he did eliminated almost all of the friends he had and destroyed his status as a hero, what more could be done to him? (Somehow I feel I'm going to regret saying that.)

I hope to see your new projects come to fruition. Other than The Sopranos, I look forward to reading the new chapters you two put up every week. I hope that you'll eventually regain all of the reviewers you had before the big server move.

Well, I guess that's all I have to say for this week. I'm looking forward to future installments.

Thanks for mentioning me. This was, as usaul, quite an interesting read. I do have to say that I hope you put Sonic through even worse treatment than Shadow had to deal with. I'm also curios as to how Eclipse with be affected from his time on Prison Island.

Wow, what a cliffhanger! I have no clue what's going to happen now. If they all get stuck into jail cells and brutally tortured, who's going to save their asses? It's definately not looking good for any of them.

I was curious as to why you havn't provided a name or a description for the Colonel. I have to work on my imagination to think of his physical characteristics, and I imagine him as a large, imposing man who is ruthless and cold, much like O'Brien from 1984. Then again, if you were keeping this information intentionally vague, that would make sense.

I was just curious, were you two planning on continuing "At The End of the Tunnel"? I thoroughly enjoyed that story and it would be a shame if you didn't.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Good work, can't wait for the next installment.

Even with AFF being a royal retard, you guys have come back with even more wonderful chapters. Now to note on the most recent one...
Holy hell in a handbasket, Amy with a gun! As if her wielding a giant hammer wasn't deadly enough? What would her parents say? Haha, probably would be cheering her on at that moment. Well, up until the moment she got shot at. It's like you said, the ultimate shit hit the ultimate fan.

Kudos on the cliffhanger. It certainly is making me think of all the possibilites that may occur. Cant wait for the next chapter guys ^_^
Oh, and finally (no thanks to AFF bitch fest and college crap) I got my story up, titled Crimson Twilight. I'd be honored if ya checked it out some time!

Keep up the killer work and keep us guessing.

    Your fan,

    ...

I think I have a guess of what will happen...

And I sense much, much pain coming for the Colonel...

I mean, pissing off Shadow was already a bad idea in the past, but now... I wonder how you'll describe a bleeding pile of flesh and bones...

Now that I'm done being lazy...
The colonel has proved to be an interesting man, as well as a sadist. Wooden Spoon.
The only grey area thats bugging me is that paticular scientist who was humane to Shadow durring the beginning of his private hell.
Hedgecat? ... nope...nothing real intelligent to say here...mabey later.
Found myslef laughing when Amy got her hands on a gun. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Since I'm too tired to say anything intelligent, I'll take my leave.

Nice chapter. Only one thing bothers me: In the last chapter, Sonic seemed to be in a very sickly manner, but in this chapter he seems perfectly fine. Is he ok now?

Other than that this was a fun chapter. I enjoyed seing Sonic begin to get on somewhat better terms with Amy after the rape. It's nice to see that you did some research on Military Customs and applied it to this chapter. It's sad to see Shadow so strung out that he can barely even remember who Amy is. I look forward to the next installment.

Awesome story, It's good to see a piece of fan fiction that wasn't written by a three year-old with hormonal problems. I also like the fact that you two build up an interesting narrative, rather than a piece of shit plot with lots of sex. And it's probably inappropriate as hell, but that part where Shadow was anally raping Amy reminded me of a funny YTMND: http://sonicgivesadviceonrape.ytmnsfw.com/

I do hope that all of this torture is leading to happier times and not leading to a Winston-Smithish-no-win-catch-22 situation where the character goes through a lot of torture and ends up getting killed in the end anyway. Can't wait for the future installments!
