I would love to see an ending to this, and some happy resolution for poor Edgeworth!

WOW! My friend directed me to your story and honestly, I'm really quite blown away. The angst, light-hearted moments and all, had me wanting for more! I like how you kept phoenix, miles etc all in-character and though i was never a big fan of the pairing phoenix and miles, I'm kinda rooting for them here :).

I really don't know what to say (becoz seriously you are one darn good writer) but one thing I love about your style of writing is how you twist the mood from funny then to dark next becoz it isn't easy to do that. I wanna see more of your works/stories!

Please continue! I'm really dying to know what's going to happen next. :)

An excellent story. A really beautiful begining, and consistant in-character goodness. And then the horrible rape! Very enjoyable... I just hope he gets rescued eventually...

What an awesome story! It's a definite change from the Phoenix and Miles stories I tend to find. I hope you complete this story eventually, because I can't wait to see how it ends. Great job, I only wish I could write as well as you do.

Goodness, I hope you continue this. It's not only exceedingly well-characterized and well-written - I'm particularly impressed by the pacing - but it's also very, very hot. Like, super-hot. Surface-of-the-sun hot.

I'm not even sure where to begin. Let me start by saying that this is, hands down, the best Phoenix Wright story I've ever read. The first thing that caught my attention was the characterization starting in the first chapter. It was dead on, completely believable given the context. I adore Edgeworth's reactions; regardless of situation he struggles to keep his cool and to remain defiant, but at the same time things obviously aren't easy on him and Gant seems to regularly be testing his patience.

I never really liked Phoenix Wright himself much as a character, but with his signature determination and uncomplicated honesty I still find myself rooting for him and hoping that things work out for him in the end. Still standing by Edgeworth, even after all the things Edgeworth said to him - it's probably foolishness, but it's charming and just like him. That dynamic is probably why I can't help but be drawn to that pairing, despite not being particularly fond of Phoenix himself.

Gant and Edgeworth... wow. Gant isn't depicted as remotely likable anywhere in the story, but I have to admit that the first few chapters are incredibly hot. I had no idea what to expect at first, but you've done a wonderful job with this unconventional pairing.

The last chapter changed the tone of the story quite a bit, particularly since we just recently had such a light and optimistic scene between Edgeworth and Phoenix. The encounter between Phoenix and Gant at the police station was ominous, with Gant knowing what he did and Phoenix having no idea what Gant was thinking.

It was sunny outside, but when I started reading the last chapter it suddenly and unexpectedly started to rain - hard. It was the strangest thing, an odd little cliche that made me pause to laugh, but somehow it made the last chapter all the more enjoyable. It was dark and painful, and I loved it, truly.

Gagging Edgeworth was the most interesting choice, I thought. Previously he was so dialogue-driven, and suddenly his thoughts and affectations could only be portrayed through his facial reactions and his body language, much of which we saw from Gant's perspective. I thought you did a truly amazing job with that, and it set a significantly more somber tone than if he'd spent the chapter bantering with Gant as I suspect would otherwise have been the case.

I'm not really sure what else to say, but the story really warranted a detailed review. It took my breath away, and Edgeworth breaking down at the end was heartbreaking. I wish I could offer some constructive criticism as well, but I was a bit too absorbed in the story to remember to search for anything like that along the way. I'm really just terribly pleased with the direction in which you're taking things, and I do hope you still plan to continue. Gant needs to get what's coming to him, and really, poor Edgeworth had enough reason to angst before you got your hands on him! :D

You are an exquisite writer, and this story is truly top notch. You write intriguing characters in very developed voices, and your plot is nicely counterbalanced with your erotica. The comedy and the tragedy here is beautiful. I can only hope you'll write more, and soon.

This made me sad. Not that it was poorly written, or bad or anything! Just the theme, ya' know. It's still depressing. But you did well. These kind of scenes are incredibly hard to write! First time I tried, I ended up crying. You did very well.

I just read what you've written so far this night (er, morning)... really, it's the first Pheonix Wright fanfiction I've read since playing the games, and I have to say, I absolutely *love* this story. You're a great writer, and you know how to economize your writing while still instilling emotion, setting, story... oh, and good smut. No useless purple prose (not to smack on purple writers or anything). Wonderful job. As for the most recent chapter, I didn't even find a typo in it. Poor Edgeworth... when Gant pulled out the knife I nearly had a heart attack. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! I haven't read a fic this great in a while. Never one so dark and being able to get a laugh out of me at the same time, either.

Also, your scenes with Pheonix make me giggle and smile. Haha.
