How about you all shut up and let them update when they feel like it. It's already gone 9 decent chapters in great time and there several other WIP's on the site still being worked on(obviously). It will be updated when they feel like updating, and I don't know about you but people bitching at me usually makes me not want to do it even more just to piss them off :p

Now as for Shadow going down the path of redemption I kinda like it however I think he's done a little too much to even hope for forgiveness now. Unless he's just acting that way for Tikal's sake showing he's not all that evil and demented and still plans to break Sonic in two then great. I shall be patiently awaiting your next chapter and pray to whatever diety like being if any that might be listening that you play nice with poor little Tails. :o

I'd really love to see Shadow attempt to redeem himself. With that deep psychological damage, even if he tries, he'll likely have some mental problems to an extent and even with that aside, after what he's already done, there will be some people who will hate him forever. I wonder, what will he do? It'd be great to see him try to be good again.

I personally enjoyed this chapter, and fail to see why some of the others here didn't like it. While I enjoy brutal rape and torture as much as any other person here, after awhile it becomes stale. There are only so many different ways you can do something before it begins to grow tiring, and I feel that if he had just brutally raped Tikal like he did everybody else, it would have been continuing this pattern.

Another thing I liked was the surprise of Shadow having consensual sex with Tikal instead of raping her. I, like most others, predicted that she would be brutally raped just like all of Shadow's other victims. It's even better than in ARAAT1 when Sonic raped Amy, which I almost didn't see coming (except the fill-in-the-blank you and Froggy left in the chapter before that kind of ruined the surprise).

But probably the thing I most enjoyed about this chapter is that it gives the reader an opportunity to sympathize with Shadow. Before this, all we saw in Shadow's character was that he was a psychotic madman hellbent on bringing pain and suffering to Sonic and his allies for wronging him. Now we see that he had a troubled past that may have lead him to have difficulty feeling empathy towards his victims, and that he as least has a conscience and is not a complete monster.

Also, this new development in Shadow's character casts considerable doubt as to how this story is going to end. Before this, I had a pretty clear idea of what was going to happen: Shadow would go up the rape chain until he got to Sonic, there would be a final confrontation, Shadow would win, rape Sonic and murder him, and then finally realize that the revenge he had sought out left him with little satisfaction, and the story would end on a somber tone. But now, I have to ask myself: what will happen? Will he take Tikal's lessons to heart, or will he revert to his old ways and keep raping and murdering people? I'm not so sure what will happen now thanks to this plot twist, and I commend you and Terminus for constructing it so well. I eagerly await the next installment of this well-written story.

I don't think you should have Tails raped, cause thats just starting to get old. Tails should so be some freaky sexual predator and be all over Sonic when Shadow finally confronts Sonic. it would so throw everyone!@

Yeah, that's true. But you always make everyone a pushover to Shadow. Sonic, Knuckles, Ashura, GUN...who's next? E-123 Omega? Metal Sonic? Black Doom? This clearly shows your favoritism between the characters. Don't get me wrong, I like Shadow too. He's a real kick-ass character, but let's face it: you're overpowering him. Then again, He IS Black Doom's clone, and according to Wikipedia, Black Doom was the ruler of the universe at one point. Whatever, maybe I'm just delusional.

Besides, sometimes it's good to see out of character stories out there. I thought it was interesting when you made Sonic a bad guy in ARAAT1. And I found it very amusing in the Universe Backstabber series with Sonic as a fag. XD

I could care less what other people think, as I have seen some people say things like, "Stop publishing your OOC shit!" or "Amy was too nice!" I like what I like, and if other people aren't on the same page as me: Fuck them.

OOC can be cool and funny sometimes. Can you imagine a badass/goth Cream? Or a super intelligent Big? Possibilities are endless. It's just the matter of who's willing to do this.

Oh, and thanks for not making anymore yaoi. Although I think my brain has been damaged now after reading that. Like it wasn't fucked up enough...

I'm 50/50 on this chapter. For one, it was nice to take a break from everyone getting raped, but at the same time, it seemed like you wrote that part for the soul purpose of having one last M/F sex scene since everyone left is a guy. I mean really, you could have come to that same conclusion WITHOUT Tak having to just have sex with Shadow. Her not being afraid of touching him and trying to reach out to him was fine but him not wanting to do anything to her at all would have been more of a impact IMHO. It wasn't a bad chapter, it just felt a little odd. (Or a sub since you tried to do the same thing with Knuckles but it didn't work out at all.)

And why'd it have to go there RIGHT before we got to Tails? I was actually looking forward to seeing what would happen to him, since everyone else pretty much got it bad and he's the closes to Sonic. I feel like I've been ripped off in that reguard.

And I thought Sonic actually did try to save Shadow, so what is this non-sense about him just *letting* him fall? And are you dropping hints that Sonic may like Shadow because when he was talking to Rouge he got all sad and well...hmmm.

Though I will say. If Shadow's just gonna turn into a complete pansy, I won't bother finishing the story. That was half of my appeal for reading it, other then SLASH.

Well if you had to have peaceful sex, I suppose that was the best way for it to be done. Made me laugh a little mind you cause I couldn't help but think TIKAL IS A HIPPIE! but overall, I thought it was a nice chapter. And there might be hope for Tails yet. Hooray!

Oh come on! Shadow was an evil bastard at the start of this story, and now you've got him turning soft on us? Lets see a return of the evil Shadow again and get rid of this weakling thats taken his place. I wasn't expecting Tikal to survive the end of that chapter;I actually thought Shadow would kill her afterwards.

ah yes, now that was more like it. brutal rape and ferice fighting, that's what this thing is all about. can't wait to see what Shadow's going to do to poor Tikal. but look at the bright side, at least dear old psycho Shadow won't be crazy enough to rape Big (eww), or even that Blaze the cat chick. oh well. just keep on working it.
